사용자 만족도를 고려한 터치 버튼 사이즈에 대한 연구 (A User Satisfaction Based Touch Button Design)

  • This study has been conducted on touch screen interface design for mobile devices. It was intended to measure user’s satisfaction on one-handed thumb input mobile devices. Recent studies proposed the optimal touch button size, but it is inappropriate for mobile devices. Therefore, this study was focused on four touch key factors-width, height, the horizontal and vertical distance between touch keys-as independent variables. The ANOVA results showed that the user satisfaction of four touch key factors was significantly affected by the thumb input. It also apparent that the interactions between four factors were significant. As a result, the horizontal and vertical distance as well as the width and height affected the satisfaction of users. In addition, this study suggested satisfaction models which represent the top 30%, 50%, 70% of user satisfaction measurement. The results of this study could be used to design touch keys that are able to enhance the usability on touch screen based mobile devices.

Considerations on Improvement of Moving Properties for Magnetic Actuator Capable of Movement in Pipe

  • The present paper proposes a novel cableless magnetic actuator with a new propulsion module that exhibits a very high thrusting force. This actuator contains an electrical inverter that directly transforms DC from button batteries into AC. The electrical DC-AC inverter incorporates a mass-spring system, a reed switch, and a curved permanent magnet that switches under an electromagnetic force. The actuator is moved by the inertial force of the mass-spring system due to mechanical resonance energy. The experimental results show that the actuator is able to move upward at a speed of 33 mm/s when using 10 button batteries when pulling a 10 g load mass. This cableless magnetic actuator has several possible applications, including narrow-pipe inspection and maintenance.

  • A service robot is expected to be useful in indoor environment such as a hotel, a hospital and so on. However, many service robots are driven by wheels so that they cannot climb stairs to move to other floors. If the robot cannot use elevators. In this paper, the mobile manipulator system was developed, which can operate numeral buttons on the operating panel in the elevator. To perform this task, the robot is composed of an image recognition module, an ultrasonic sensor module and a manipulator. The robot can recognize numeral buttons and an end-effector in manipulator by the vision system. The Learning vector quantization (LVQ) algorithm is used to recognize the number on the button. The barcode mark on the end-effector is used to recognize the end-effector. The manipulator can push numeral buttons using informations captured by the vision system. The proposed method is evaluated by experiments.

  • 최근에 WWW의 등장과 함께 컴퓨터를 매개로 한 수업이 점차 증가하고 있으며,웹 기반 수업에 대한 문제점이 많이 지적되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 버튼 이론을 이용하여 적용하기 위한 데이터베이스 테이블을 설계하여 학습자 동기 유발에 적응적인 웹기반 코스웨어의 모형을 제안하였다. 웹기반의 가상교육을 통해서 실제적으로 학습자 자신의학습동기를 체크하기 위하여 학습내용이 있는 매 화면마다 학습자의 상태를 파악할 수 있도록 테이블을 설계하였다.

트루뷰 동영상 광고의 스킵버튼 종류에 따른 광고 효과 (Influence of TrueView Ad Skip Buttons on Advertising Effect)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out what type of skip button used in forced exposure advertising is the most positive to the users. The four types of skip buttons were produced for the experiment and tested by survey and eye tracker to reveal the effects of the skip buttons on perceived intrusion, advertising attention, attitude toward advertising, and memory consisting of recall and recognition. Out of 80 participants, 20 were randomly assigned to the specific type of skip button group. The results showed that there is no statistical difference in advertising attention, perceived intrusiveness and attitude toward advertising. However, the recall and recognition rate are the highest in the static text type and kinetic text, product image, and default follow statistically. This study has implications for using skip buttons as a major variable for inventory of TrueView advertising effects and suggests that the amount of information in the image is critical processed by users within very short time.

비의식적 정서가 동작수행 정보처리과정 중 운동 프로그램에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Unconscious Emotion on Motor Program of Information Processing for Movement Execution)

  • 인간-로봇 상호작용 접근에서 로봇이 정서를 인식하고 표현하고 대처할 수 있도록 로봇을 만드는 것은 미래 로봇산업에서 중요한 과제이다. 본 연구의 목적은 긍정적 부정적 정서 정보에 대한 자동적 처리과정에 의해 동작수행을 위한 정보처리 과정 중에 운동 프로그램 단계에 차별적인 영향을 미치는가를 규명하는 것이었다. 13명(남=11, 여=2)의 실험자자가 본 연구에 참여하여 웃는 얼굴과 화난 얼굴을 10ms의 비의식적 수준에서 정서적 점화자극을 제시받은 후 단추누르기 과제, 단추 누른 후 테니스 공 1개 타격, 단추 누른 후 테니스 공 2개 타격하는 과제를 수행하였다. 그 결과 긍정적 정서 자극은 부정적 정서자극과 비교해 복잡한 운동을 계획하는데 더욱 빠른것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 인간-로봇 상호작용에서 로봇이 인간의 정서를 인식하고 표현하기 위해서는 적어도 2개의 정서 인터페이스가 있어야 함을 암시한다.

양송이 재배사 공기 중에 존재하는 세균조사 (Investigation of bacteria in indoor air of a greenhouse for button mushroom cultivation)

  • 양송이는 재배사라는 밀폐된 환경에서 재배되는 바 양질의 생산을 위해서는 재배사 내 환경에 대한 정보가 요구된다. 본 연구는 양송이 재배사내 실내환경에 대한 기초 정보를 얻고자 수행되었다. 재배사 내 온도와 습도는 $19.75{\pm}0.35^{\circ}C$, $87{\pm}3.67%$로 세균이 서식할 수 있는 환경조건이었으며, 부유세균의 농도는 $3.84{\times}10^3cfu/m^3$로서 환경부에서 고시한 실내공기질 오염유지 기준치인 $8.0{\times}10^2cfu/m^3$을 초과하는 수치였다. 분리된 부유세균은 Advenella kashmirensis, Bacillus vietnamensism, B. licheniformis, Burkholderia sordidicola, Fictibacillus phosphorivorans, Lysobacter daejeonensis, Microbacterium esteraromaticum, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, P. protegens, P. gessardii, P. mosseli 등 7속 11종으로 동정되었다.

Cultural and Morphological Characteristics of a New White Button Mushroom Cultivar 'Saedo'

  • Since development of the first Korean button mushroom cultivar 'Sae-Ah' in 2010, mushroom farmers have demanded an improved cultivar. Although a new cultivar, 'Saejeong', was developed in 2011, this cultivar has thus far been difficult to cultivate in typical mushroom farms. To solve this problem, another new cultivar, 'Saedo', was developed in 2012. This new cultivar was selected by genetic analysis from crossing the heterokaryon line A175 and the homokaryon line ASI1346-15. The heterokaryon A175 was a crossed line between strains ASI1038-211 and ASI1346-20. The mycelium of 'Saedo' showed good growth on compost dextrose agar at $25^{\circ}C$. The morphological traits such as the pileus (cap) and stipe of the 'Saedo' cultivar were thicker than those of the reference control 'Saejeong', and the production yield was increased by 1.89-fold compared to that of the reference control. A field experiment of the 'Saedo' cultivar has been ongoing since 2013. The yield of the 'Saedo' cultivar was found to be substantially higher than that of the reference control during the $2^{nd}$ flush.

Effect of button mushroom compost on mobilization of heavy metals by sunflower

  • The potential ability of Button mushroom compost (BMC) to solubilize heavy metals was estimated with metal contaminated soils collected from abandoned mines of Boryeong area in South Korea. The bacterial strains in BMC were isolated for investigating the mobilization of metals in soil or plant by the strains and identified according to 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis. When metal solubilization potential of BMC was assessed in a batch experiment, the BMC was found to be capable of solubilizing metals in the presence of metals (Co, Pb and Zn) and the results showed that inoculation of BMC could increase the concentrations of water soluble Co, Pb and Cd by 35, 25 and 45% respectively, than those of non-inoculated soils. BMC-assisted growth promotion and metal uptake in sunflower (Helianthus annuus) was also evaluated in a pot experiment. In comparison with non-inoculated seedlings, the inoculation led to increase the growth of H. annuus by 27, 25 and 28% respectively in Co, Pb and Zn contaminated soils. Moreover, enhanced accumulation of Co, Pb and Zn in the shoot and root systems was observed in inoculated plants, where metal translocation from root to the above-ground tissues was also found to be enhanced by the BMC. The apparent results suggested that the BMC could effectively be employed in enhancing phytoextraction of Co, Pb and Zn from contaminated soils.
