This study is intended to suggest an ideal direction of the information systems policy for the local small business firms. In an effort to accomplish this objective, this paper tried to identify the current states of the information systems and measure the level of the information systems of local small business firms based on the maturity stage and the development level. The study then explored the evidence how the maturity stage and the development level affect the business performance of the local small business firms. The research found out that the organizational factor such as the support of CEO and the financial factor such as IS investment took major roles to improve the business performance. Based on the research findings of this study, the paper suggested the desirable solution of the information system policy to deal with the problems the local small business firms need to overcome.

Purpose - The purpose of this research paper is twofold. First, this paper attempts to grasp the damage caused to small and medium-size retail traders from online wholesalers in the field. Second, this paper engages in a psychological characterization of the enterprise spirit and the management of small and medium-size entrepreneurs in the retail trade business that are harmed by online wholesalers. Research design, data, and methodology - Data on three large Korean wholesalers engaged in ongoing litigation during the first half of 2014, including E-Mart Traders E-Club, and regarding applications for business adjustments from three large wholesalers were used. Results - The results show that small and medium-size distribution merchants seek political support for facility modernization, policy-specific funds, development of the distribution of PB products, advanced distribution techniques, joint logistics systems, establishment of distribution and logistics centers, sharing of parking facilities, and joint ordering systems. Conclusions - This study examined the damage to, and the government's support of policy demands from, small retail traders.

본 연구는 정부 주관 창업지원사업을 시설지원, 자금지원, 교육지원, 멘토링지원 등 4가지 분야에 초점을 맞춰 경영성과에 미치는 영향과 창업만족의 매개효과에 대해 규명하였다. 본 연구는 이를 검증하기 위해 광주·전남 지역에서 중소벤처기업부에서 지원하는 창업지원사업을 수행한 창업자를 대상으로 실증분석을 진행하였다. 분석결과, 창업지원사업의 시설, 교육, 자금 및 멘토링 지원은 창업자들의 경영성과에 긍정적인(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었고, 창업지원사업과 경영성과간의 관계에 있어서 창업만족의 부분매개 역할도 검증되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 정부 주관 창업지원사업에서 시설, 교육, 자금, 멘토링과 같은 지원프로그램이 창업자들의 경영성과를 향상시킬 수는 있는 적합한 요인임을 확인하였다. 또한 본 연구를 통한 시사점을 제시하고 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

정부의 소상공인정책자금 지원에 대한 효과 분석을 통하여 지원 자금 규모에 따라 소상공인의 매출 증가 변화, 향후 성장성을 분석하였다. 정부자금의 수혜기업과 비수혜기업을 구분하여 상호 비교하여 분석하거나 수혜기업 중심으로 지원 자금의 성과를 분석하여 결과를 제시함으로서 정부의 자금 지원정책에 시사점을 제공하였다.

The object of this thesis is to evaluate performance of Industry Complex of Rural Areas Policy and to suggest solutions to solve problems of the policy and development plans for Industry Complex of Rural Areas in Korea. The Industry Complex of Rural Areas Policy has contributed to increase of income and growth of industries in farming areas. Since business environment has been changing rapidly and competition has been getting fierce, Korean small business in rural are as need to develop new strategies to strengthen their competitiveness. Therefore, this thesis will suggest public programs to support for development of Korean small businesses in rural areas. The suggestions are as below 1) plans to form funds to provide financial aid to small business in rural areas. Specific plans to raise funds for public programs that would be executed by National Industry Complex of Rural Areas Association are included. 2) plans to improve abilities of SBCs to develop technologies 3) plans to establish marketing channels for SBCs in rural areas. 4) plans to create systems to promote restructuring in Industry Complex of Rural Area.

글로벌시대가 가속화되면서, 기업의 환경에는 많은 변화가 일어나고 있다. 특히 대기업 뿐만이 아니라 중소기업들도 활발하게 해외 시장으로 눈을 돌리고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 수출 중소기업의 성과에 영향을 미치는 영향 요인을 분석하는데 있다. 수출 중소기업의 성과에 정부의 지원정책과 산업 및 해외관련 경험이 중요한 영향을 미칠 것으로 보인다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중소기업의 종사자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 이를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 정부의 수출지원정책은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 경험(산업과 해외 관련)이 성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 수출을 준비중인 중소기업에게 실무적인 차원에서의 가이드라인을 제공할 것으로 보이며, 중소기업에 대한 수출지원정책면에서는 정부의 역할이 미비하다는 것을 보여준다.

The Korean fisheries industry is a traditional business, the majority of which are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It has played an important role in the South Korean economies in the past several decades, but it currently faces the limitations of growth potential and profitability due to declining workforce, aging populations, deteriorating fishery environments, climate changes, and rapid changes in the global industrial ecosystem. Many studies have suggested solutions for the fisheries industry in macro perspective, but there are rarely any studies taking the strategic approaches for the problem. If it is possible for governments to support the companies that are likely to increase their value-added selectively, it will break through the current situation more effectively. This paper introduces a study on the selection method utilizing data envelopment analysis (DEA) to find SMEs with potentials to increase profits and growth. We suggest selecting SMEs with high management efficiency and ability to utilize intangible assets as the target companies. We also suggest policy objectives for SMEs in the domestic fisheries industry based on the results of DEA analysis and propose a data-based method for the policy decisions.

This paper, we argue that sector in terms of the creative industries the need to the institutional settle of the rent-a-driver business; the industry could create more than 200,000 jobs, the effect is to bring out the about 4 trillion underground economy and Can be interpreted industry, which contributes to reduce social costs, ranging from 1.7 trillion won to 5.7 trillion per year. Through institutionalization of policy should support. Observation and in-depth interviews were conducted with the law and the president of the rent-a-driver business company. The operating system should be improved. the rent-a-driver business, for the formulation of the work ethic and education is desperately needed. The effect socio-economic contribution effect of the rent-a-driver business industry can be summarized as follows. First, it is an industry that has an operating system utilizing state-of-the-art technology and equipment, and the convergence of creative industries to comply with the market. Second, the effect appears as an industry that creates jobs for the populace to replace the social security system, social safety net is considered as an industry. Third, this is an industry that can be self-reliant in the short term at least political support, the industry is considered in the industry to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the support policy.

IT and e-business is a hot issue of the world business and economic communities. The web site is the portal through which most of electronic transactions are conducted today. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate on factors influencing the web site development at the firms in Korea. Survey questionnaires were distributed via email & post to 281 firms that have implemented web site. Out of 44 responded questionnaires, 39 data sets were available for statistical analysis with SPPSSWin 10.1. Factor analysis identified five dimensions of web site development : (1) support of top management, (2) information technologies maturity, (3) strategic utilization of web site, (4) strength of rivalry among competing firm, (5) support policy of the government. Results of this study show that information technologies maturity and strategic utilization of web site positively influence on web site development. But support of top management, strength of rivalry among competing firm and support policy of the government don't influence on web site development. This study may provide a guideline to improve the quality of web site development.

As the risk of technical leakage is increasing, technology protection support systems for small and medium-sized businesses have gained attention. This paper analyzed the perception gap of the user and policy-maker regarding technology protection support systems. First, to identify key elements of technology protection support systems and construct measurement factors, interviews with experts are conducted. Then, surveys are conducted to analyze the perception differences between the users and policy-makers. Factor analysis and ANOVA have been utilized to analyze survey results. The result shows that the perception gaps exist in the following areas: management system, cost reduction, copyright protection, customer satisfaction, leakage prevention, and awareness. To enhance the effectiveness of technology protection support systems, this paper suggests technology protection support systems should be customized in terms of the company's size and type of busines.
