Given the huge number of data produced by its users, SNS is a great source of customer insights. Since viral trends in SNS reflect customers' direct feedback, companies can draw out highly meaningful business insights when such data is effectively analyzed and managed. However, while the importance of understanding SNS big data keeps growing, the methods for analyzing atypical data such as SNS postings for business insights over product has not been well studied. This study aims to demonstrate the way to exploit topic modeling method to support marketing strategy generation and therefore leverage business process. First, we conducted topic modeling analysis for twitter data of Apple and Samsung smartphones. Then we comparatively examined the analysis results to draw meaningful market insights about each smartphone product. Finally, we draw out a strategic marketing recommendation for each smartphone brand based on the findings.

Two reasons for the low success rate of the practical implementation of BPR are the lack of good models and consideration of information system development stage in a BPR project. This paper suggests an Integrated Business Process Model (IBPM), which incorporates two distinct but interrelated points of view: form and business process. By integrating the form model with the business process model, the IBPM has advantages in performing BPR projects; it helps to build the model, to analyze and redesign business processes, and to do requirement analysis of information systems. This paper also suggests a new BPR supporting tool, BRAWII(Business Reengineering Assistance Workbench version 2.0). BRAWIIsupports IBPM and manages full stages of BPR project. In the design of BRAWII, the linkage between results of a BPR project and requirements for information system development is considered.

비즈니스 프로세스 관리 측면에서 XPDL, BPML, BPELAWS와 같은 많은 비즈니스 프로세스 실행 언어들이 각기 다른 기반과 목적에 따라 정의되었다. 이 중에 WfMC에서 제안한 XPDL은 서로 상호 작용할 수 있는 개념의 워크플로우 관련 비즈니스 프로세스 애플리케이션에서 범용적으로 이용되고 있다. 한편, 최근 BPMI에서 주도하는 BPMN(Business Process Modeling Notation)은 비즈니스 프로세스를 위한 표준화된 그래픽 표기법으로써 정의되었다. 그래서 BPMN을 지원하는 디자인 툴을 이용하면 다양한 비즈니스 프로세스를 일반화된 형태로 디자인하고 분석할 수 있다. BPMN 형식의 비즈니스 프로세스가 비즈니스 프로세스 실행 엔진에서 실행되기 위해서는 XPDL과 같은 비즈니스 프로세스 언어로 의미적으로 동일하게 변환되어야 한다. 이러한 관점에서 본 논문에서는 BPMN 형식의 비즈니스 프로세스로부터 이와 대응되는 XPDL 프로세스로의 변환 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문을 통하여 프로세스 모델링 표기법(BPMN)과 프로세스 실행언어(XPDL) 사이의 의미적 간격을 줄임으로써 현업의 프로세스 설계자와 프로세스 실행 모듈의 차이를 최소화하였다.

Business process engineering (BPE) is a top-down management approach for increasing efficiency and productivity through radical and fundamental changes to the business processes of the organization. BPE requires firms to initially develop a model of the existing business processes of the firm to distinguish functional tasks from processes used for coordinating inputs, activities and outputs. The model is used for understanding the business processes in the organization and to simulate the effect of changes to the processes. The model can also be used to justify business processes, which involves assessing whether the business process provides value to the customer in its current configuration. Justification requires a careful examination of the key business processes used by the firm to identify systemic shortcomings in the process and to create a new business process to produce greater efficiency. BPE also considers automating as many business processes as possible to increase operational efficiency and the integration of business process tasks. The construction industry has been slow to adopt BPE because of its project approach in which a major firm contracts with various functional service providers and regards each project as unique. The industry focuses on functional task efficiency rather than business process efficiency. There is no formal methodology or criteria for determining whether a business process is effective for a construction firm in its current configuration. The use of performance measures such as costs, task duration times or other metrics can be useful in evaluating the effectiveness of an existing business process and for modeling the possible outcome of a fundamental and radical change to the process.

기업이 비즈니스 프로세스의 중요성을 인식하게 되면서 비즈니스 프로세스 관리시스템에 대한 관심이 높아졌다. 그러나 전통적으로 BPMS는 업무프로세스의 모형화 및 실행에 그 초점이 맞추어져 있어, 상대적으로 프로세스 관리의 궁극적인 목적인 프로세스 효율성 제고나 더 나아가 프로세스를 혁신하는 데에는 큰 기여를 하지 못하였다. BPMS는 일반적으로 방대한 량의 이력 데이터를 남기게 되는데, 이에는 프로세스의 실행과 관련된 다양한 의미있는 정보나 규칙들이 숨어있다. 본 연구는 데이터마이닝 기법을 활용하여 프로세스 이력 데이터를 분석하는 체계적인 방법론을 제시한다. 제시된 방법론은 프로세스 분석을 위한 데이터 모형, 분석절차, 그리고 시스템 프레임워크를 포함한다. 또한 그 유용성을 검증하기 위하여, 시뮬레이션 데이터를 이용한 실험결과를 제시한다.

Simulation --- The ideal tool for BPR. Work now and CASE tools are static modeling tools. Based on our own customers surveys, we have discovered that the use of process modeling tools thus far has focused on modeling the current(What-Is) state of a business. We have found that 90 percent of reengineering projects, the modeling tools of choice have been flowcharting tools. Static models offer help in understanding the overall nature of an existing process. However, static models can not really help you see the step by step motions towards completion of your goals. In static modeling, you see two pictures in time, usually taken at the current state and final state models of your reengineering project. Static models are usually not object oriented, therefore can not show facility or office layout and movement of entities and objects throughout the facility. However, this does not mean that static modeling does not have its application nor add value to the user as in a few success stories. Simulation helps the team analyze the complex aspects of the project. Many times a plan that looks good on paper might turn out entirely different when put into action. Therefore, simulation helps you look at how situations might work before actual implementation. In particular, computer simulation models help you view a reengineered condition before they are rolled-out. Items such as a lead time and resource allocation.

정보시스템 구축에 있어서 적절한 시스템 분석 및 설계를 위한 모델링 기법을 활용하는 것이 중요 과제이며, 이러한 시스템 모델링 분양서 구조적 방법론과 객체지향 기법이 두가지의 주요한 표준으로 이용되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 IDEF3와 UML을 이용하여 정보시스템을 구축하기 위한 시스템 분석 설계 방법론을 검토하고 실제 기업의 업무를 대상으로 모델링해 보았다. IDEF3는 비즈니스 프로세스를 분석하고자 시도된 최초의 방법이고, 업무를 체계적으로 분석할 수 있으며, 쓰여지는 기호의 간편함과 명료함 때문에 쉽게 표현할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 통합 모델링 언어로 불리는 UML은 시스템 개발 과정에 참여하는 모든 이들이 각자의 시각에서 이해할 수 있도록 각 분야의 설계도를 그릴 수 있는 표준을 제공하고, 그래픽 요소를 조합해서 다이어그램으로 나타낼 수 있는 장점이 있으며, 객체 지향 시스템 개발그룹에서 표준으로 인정받고 있는 모델링 언어이다. 본 논문에서는 신발을 수출하고 있는 중소기업의 반 정형화된 수출/무역 관리 업무 프로세스에 대하여, IDEF3와 UML을 이용하여 분석하고, 이에 따른 시스템 개발 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

A workflow model is useful fur business process analysis and has often been implemented for office automation through information technology. Accordingly, the results of workflow modeling need to be systematically managed as information assets. In order to manage the modeling process effectively, it is necessary to enhance the efficiency of their reuse. Therefore, this paper creates a Document-barred Workflow Modeling Support System (DWMSS) using a case-based reasoning (CBR) approach. It proposes a system architecture, and the corresponding modeling process is developed. Furthermore, a repository, which consists of a case base and vocabulary base, is built. A carte study is illustrated to demonstrate the usefulness of th is system.
