In an organization where major business operations are geared by business process management system(BPMS), routine tasks are processed according to the predefined business processes. However, most business operations are subject to some sort of exceptions, and the exceptional situations require update of the existing business process model, or a new business process model has to be defined to handle the exceptions. This paper proposes a system architecture that deploys business process repository as the media for storage and retrieval of the various business process models developed for exception handling. Well defined situation variables and decision variables play the key role for efficient storage and retrieval of the business process models developed for exception handling. The data mining technique C5.0 was used to build the optimum path for the process repository search tree.

최근 들어, 사람들의 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위해 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 서비스들이 다양하게 제공되고 있다. 다양한 서비스 중에서도 특히 교통분야에서는 유비쿼터스 기술 활용이 두드러지게 이루어지고 있는 분야이다. 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 교통 서비스 중에서도 차량 추적 관리 서비스에 관련하여 비즈니스 모델과 비즈니스 프로세스를 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위해 차량 추적 관리서비스에 대한 정의를 살펴보고 난 후 이를 기반으로 비즈니스 모델을 도출하기 위한 세부 추적관리 서비스를 파악하였다. 연구 결과, 차량 추적관리 서비스에서 2개의 대표 서비스를 도출하였고 도출된 세부 서비스의 이해관계자, 수익자, 수익가치 모델을 도출하여 유비쿼터스를 활용한 U-차량추적관리 서비스의 비즈니스 모델을 파악하였다.

There have been many research papers and practical implementations on the various EC(Electronic Commerce) aspects such as merchant system, security, payment gateway, legal and policy issues. However, it is very hard to find the systematic approaches and business process models from the viewpoint of the company willing to start B2C(Business-To-Customer) EC. Therefore, we develop business process models for the planning, systems analysis and design, implementation, and operation of internet shopping mall to suggest a guideline and reference model for the realization of successful B2C EC.

비즈니스 프로세스 모델링은 고객의 요구사항을 만족하기 위해 기업들이 취하는 일련의 행위들을 그래픽적인 요소로 표현한 것이다. 오늘날 빠르고 다양한 형태로 고객의 요구사항이 변하게 됨으로써 비즈니스 프로세스 모델에서는 일어날 가능성이 있는 변화요소들을 표현하여 급변하는 요구사항에 대해 빠르게 대처할 수 있는 능력을 제공해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 비즈니스 프로세스 모델에 소프트웨어 프로덕트 라인 공학의 공통성과 가변성을 모델링 할 수 있는 비즈니스 프로세스 패밀리 모델을 제시하고 모델링 도구의 개발을 쉽게 접근할 수 있게 해주는 이클립스 플러그인 Graphical Modeling Framework(GMF)를 사용하여 비즈니스 프로세스 패밀리 모델링을 지원하는 도구를 설계하고 개발하는 과정을 보여준다 비즈니스 프로세스의 가변성은 UML2.0 활동도의 요소를 기반으로 표현된다.

Numerous countries promote business programs to revitalize local economy, increase employment, and nurture high-tech industries. Recently, a number of business incubators have been established and operated with aims to adapt to changing environment and increase economic competitiveness in Korea. To give satisfactory results of governmental policy, the requirement to develop the evaluation model to support effective operations of business incubators using the objective and rational criteria is growing. The purpose of this study is to develop evaluation model in Business Incubator using Data Mining Process. We suggested the evaluation model of business incubator, 'Score-5 RS' consists of making evaluation factor process using weighted sum and 5-grade classification and analyzing process by Decision Tree algorithm.

Adoption and practical application of BPM yet remains at a theoretic and methodological level for many industrial sectors. As for construction industry, adapting BPM into enterprise resource across all business processes could cause problems due to rapid change in corporate operation systems. Furthermore, it is unable to predict potential risks of business process while BPM are being applied. Therefore, applying BPM model to core strategy and individual task seems more effective than applying BPM model to the entire enterprise resource planning. In this paper, we define BPM and suggest a BPM model by analyzing each business unit in order to evaluate each business unit which is included in the business process architecture based on quantitative standards. This paper also presents a sequential application plan for business process model. Finally, a case study is demonstrated for the application of BPM system, focusing on cost management business, which turned out to be a top priority in the aspect of efficiency and ease based on priority analysis.

Nowadays, for the competitive power of an enterprise, there are many attempts to implement information system that could support business innovation by business process re-engineering. However, there is no effort to standardize the core business processes of enterprise based on standards of data, documents. These facts make it difficult to introduce and implement enterprise information system designed by business processes of the higher level. Therefore, standardization of business process by analyzing the functionality and relationships among them are important and necessary. The results of our research are summarized as process-driven standardization (standardization of core business processes) and development of a repository. In process-driven standardization, we proposed the reference model by analyzing the business processes of the leading enterprises for core business processes. The reference model focuses on core business processes, such as sales management, procurement management, production management, logistics management, and customer support in manufacturing industry. We developed a knowledge-based system as a repository for a integrated management system of business process. And this repository was built up web-based system for the purpose of both reference and management.

The B2B e-Marketplace connected a number of suppliers and buyers offers the opportunity to form more flexible supply chain and requires to transform the business process of purchasing transactions between suppliers and buyers to new environment. So, firms in e-Marketplace will become increasingly aware of need to improve and extend their existing processes. In order to provide the reference model for these firms, we have developed a standardized model of business process for retail industry that incorporates several important features of purchasing process in e-Marketplace. The paper describes these features and discusses the use of the model in retail industry.

최근 들어, 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 U-시티의 관심이 증대되고 있는 가운데 많은 산업분야에서 이를 활용하여 사람들의 삶의 질을 향상시키고 있다. 다양한 U-시티 서비스 중에서도 교통 분야 서비스는 다른 U-시티 서비스 중에서도 가장 활발히 적용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 교통 분야 중에서도 유비쿼터스 기술을 이용하여 교통정보제어 서비스를 위한 비즈니스모델과 비즈니스 모델 프로세스를 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 기존의 비즈니스 모델에 대해 살펴보고 교통정보제어서비스가 무엇인지를 알아보았다. 또한, 비즈니스 모델을 도출하기 위해 대표 서비스를 이용하여 시나리오를 제시하였다. 제시한 시나리오를 기반으로, 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 U-교통정보제어서비스의 비즈니스 모델 프로세스를 도출하였다. 본 연구 결과, 교통정보제어서비스에서 4개의 대표 서비스를 도출하였다. 도출된 세부 서비스에서 이해 관계자, 수익자, 수익가치 모델을 도출하여 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 U-교통정보제어서비스의 비즈니스 모델을 도출하였다.

오늘날 대부분의 기업들은 외부상황에 신속하게 비즈니스를 바꿀 수 있도록 하는 온디맨드 비즈니스 (On-demand business)를 구현하기 위해 IT 시스템의 유연성을 필요로 한다. 서비스 지향 아키텍처(Service Oriented Architecture: SOA)는 온디맨드 운영환경에서의 비즈니스 유연성을 가능하게 하는 인프라스트럭처 (infrastructure)를 제공한다. 오늘날의 이러한 요구사항을 충족시키기 위하여 SOA 애플리케이션 개발에 맞게 비즈니스 프로세스의 유연성을 확보하고 재사용을 증진시키기 위한 접근법이 필요하다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 프로덕트 라인 방법의 가변성 분석 기법을 사용하여 비즈니스 프로세스 패밀리 (family)에서 나타날 수 있는 가변성을 분석하고 이를 명시적으로 비즈니스 프로세스 패밀리 모델 (Business Process Family Model: BPFM)로 표현하는 방법을 제시한다. 또한 이 방법의 사용을 지원하기 위해 개발한 도구에 대해 설명한다. 이는 BPFM을 모델링하고 BPFM으로부터 가변성 결정과 가지치기 과정을 거쳐 자동 비즈니스 프로세스 모델 (Business Process Model: BPM)을 생성하는 기능들을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 비즈니스 프로세스 패밀리의 가변성 분석을 통하여 비즈니스와 이를 지원하는 IT 시스템은 비즈니스 환경의 변화에 신속하게 대응할 수 있게 된다.
