Purpose - The purpose of this study was verifying the policy effects by field of innovative growth engines, focusing on the discussion of the relationship between government support and corporate R&D activities (substitute/complementary goods), and based on the results, policy recommendations for promoting private R&D were carried out. Design/methodology/approach - Through literature research, academic/theoretical discussions about relationship between government support and corporate R&D activities were synthesized. Next, survey data were collected for companies engaged in the field of innovative growth engines and empirical analysis was conducted on the relationship between government support and R&D activities in 13 major sectors. Findings - First, as a result of analyzing all companies regardless of sector, government R&D subsidies had a positive (+) relationship with R&D activities of companies engaged in innovative growth engines, that is, a complementary relationship. Next, as a result of performing empirical analysis by dividing the 13 fields, it was found that 9 fields were complementary goods in which government support had a positive (+) effect on the R&D activities of companies. On the other hand, in the remaining four fields, the effect of government support on corporate R&D activities was not statistically significant. Research implications or Originality - In order to promote R&D activities of companies in the 9 fields where government support acts as a complementary product, it is necessary to establish policies centered on direct government support. On the other hand, it would be more desirable to seek indirect support rather than direct support in the 4 fields where government support did not have a statistically significant effect on corporate R&D activities.

This study aims at exploring how the existing stereotypes of needlework, which has long been regarded as a tribute to domestic labor and hobbies which are the purview of women, have come into play in the current trend of convergence among various fields, techniques and materials. This research examines these trends based on cases in two categories applied to the fields of art and space use products. In the field of art, it can be seen that needlework is applied in a variety of ways in the overall diffusion of craftivism, which is a way of asserting opinions about politics and societies. In yarn bombing and performance art, not only do needlework experts, but also, artists of other genres, underscore their propensity of carrying out projects that take advantage of the basic principles of needlework and various physical properties. Various needlework projects applied to the space use products showed the tendency to interact with the spectator or the user as a basic element through examples of playscape, which has the function of being used for relaxation and play. The study was able to confirm the tendency of interior products, which are made from needlework to furniture and tableware directly, and the tendency of materials' expansion. Based on this research, we are going to explore the possibilities for diverse new fusion attempts in fashion and textiles, as well as art, craft and design fields, in the future.

The Fisheries business administration is not only the social sciences in the education of fisheries and marine related fields but also has been lectured and educated in both high school and college level. But there are few studies that have been conducted a comparative analysis on the contents in fisheries business administration education in the continuity and sustainability. The objectives of this study are analysis of contents construction in fisheries business administration and suggestion of systematic structure with comparing the textbook of fisheries business administration in high school and college(Gyeongsang National University and Pukyong National University). The results of study show that some structural contents similarity has been found among the fisheries business administration textbooks though some of the contents are insufficient. And there are lack of recency both data and descriptions in fisheries business administration textbooks and much of time gaps based on publication year. Based on the result of this study, the integrated framework that consist with 5 main contents categories has been suggested for education of sustainable development in fisheries business administration. But still needed to be discussed the range and level of fisheries business administration issues by stakesholders including academic community, researcher and industrial personnel.

It is hardly achieved Electronic Commerce (EC) activation if there isn't any performance in spite of the estimation that EC would improve whole economic efficiency. Therefore, there should be a need for the research whether implementation and utilization of EC really improve companies' business performance. The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the level of EC utilization in Small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and analyze its effect on business performance in terms of BSC. The results indicate that EC utilization in various fields of business and the use of information created through EC are significantly related to higher business performance, but EC volume is not. This study examines facing problems of SMEs in utilizing EC as well.

Geographic Information System(GIS) market in Korea was made based on "the First Master Plan for the korean National GIS" Recently the private GIS market is growing rapidly for LBS, Telematics, Web Geographic Information Service. So, the purpose of this study is to make the development strategies reflected ′moving the core of GIS market′ from public to private sector. By using the Model of Added Value chain, the business model which reflect features of geographical information best, we analyzed markets and classified them into four fields along the uses and degrees of added value. The features of markets in each field are researched and the ways of development about each fields are established. And the business model for geoaphic information circulation is made for development of GIS. market. To realize the development strategies in each field, this study proposes the national roles.

Today, the tourism industry, unlike the past, is fused with various fields and is closely related to various fields, not just one field. In the case of the tourism industry, it leads to an increase in product sales through not only national import but also enhancing national image, forming a positive virtuous chain. As mentioned in order to verify the hypothesis presented in this study, pilot tests were conducted on about 50 copies of the data, and as a result, in-flight service (H1), flight service (H2), compensation service (H3), and reservation service (H4) It has been shown to have a positive effect on customer satisfaction, and when customer satisfaction is achieved, it naturally leads to reuse.

Technological innovations over the years have accentuated the workings in corporate- connected organizations and different application platforms. Hence, a unified management information system (MIS) that can utilize the Web and propel programming developments is required. Software agents, the latest developments in computer software technology, can be utilized to rapidly and effortlessly build integrated information systems. Consequently, 59 research papers on the use of software agents in MIS were identified from top 40 MIS journals published between 2007 and 2017. Then, we reviewed and classified all the research papers according to two categories: application fields and application categories. The application fields consisted of eight sub-groups: manufacturing, telecommunication systems, traffic and transportation management, information filtering and gathering, electronic commerce, business process management, entertainment, and medical care; whereas the application categories consisted of three sub-groups: multi-agent systems, personal assistants, and multi-agent simulation. The research papers were further divided into journal and year of publication, and journal and application field. The objective of our research was to understand the trend of the use software agent technology in MIS by examining the published research paper beside to add knowledge and content to the information system academic discipline.

Recently, enterprises have reinforced security control in order to prevent infringement of personal information and abuse of customer information by insiders. However, the reinforcement of security control by enterprises makes it difficult for internal users to perform business by using a business information system. There is, therefore, a need for research on various fields, which makes it possible to establish an appropriate security control policy while minimizing an impact on business. The present research verifies and analyzes an impact on difficulty in business of internal users using customer information, which is caused by security control performed by display restriction on customer information identifiers. The present research is intended to academically develop a technique for statistically analyzing an impact degree and a causal relationship between security control and an impact on business, which is a dichotomous variable, and to practically contribute to the establishment of an efficient security policy in consideration of an impact on business when an enterprise applies security control. A research target was internal business information systems of domestic securities enterprises, data was collected by questionnaire, and verification/analysis was performed by logistic regression analysis.
