시범 새우양식장의 경제적 타당성 연구 (Economic Feasibility of a Hypothetical Shrimp Farm a Combination of Semi-Closed Raceways and Ponds)

  • This study involves a blending of intensive and extensive shrimp culture techniques for a hypothetical shrimp farm which uses a combination of heated raceway nurseries and extensive grow-out ponds per year. The present value method of economic analysis is used to determine economic feasibility. The biological data in this reports were obtained from published or personal communications from leaders in the field of shrimp aquaculture. The proposed system showed economic feasibility using the present value method with discount rates of 10% and 12%. The most profitable scenario, the culture of three crops of Penaeus vannamei showed a 1.26 year payback period and 120% annual average rate of return. The breakeven price was $1.25/1b., which is $1.52 less than the market price of $2.77. Breakeven production was 724 1bs/acre, which is 8761bs. less than the assumed 1,600 1bs/acre. All other scenarios 1.2 and 3 crops for P. stylirostris and P. setiferus showed economic feasibility also.

고등어 외해가두리양식의 경제성 분석 (An Economic Feasibility Study of Mackerel Offshore Aquaculture Production System)

  • This study aimed to analyze the economic feasibility of Mackerel offshore aquaculture production performance in Jeju region, Korea. Based on the collected biological, costs and market price data, farming revenue and expenses during the farming period were evaluated, and the net present value and the internal rate of return of a 10-year cash inflow and cash outflow were estimated to determine the economic feasibility of Mackerel offshore aquaculture production system. Model results indicated that the Mackerel offshore aquaculture production performance would have high profitability under the current production and market situation. This is because of the relatively high survival rate, relatively low feed conversion ratio and good market prices. However, sensitivity analyses of main important biological and economic variables showed that the economic viability of Mackerel offshore aquaculture production system would be highly vulnerable to production and market condition changes.

적조 대응 육상양식장 운영방안 및 경제적 타당성 분석 (Analysis of Operational Plan and Economical Validity in Aquacultural for Contingency Red Tide)

  • This paper analyzed economic feasibility of aquacultural construction which of large-scale. The results of the economic analysis, cage cultural and water recycling cultural by post-water treatment were analyzed that NPV is 2,083,685 thousand won and -14,105,896 thousand won and B/C ratio is 0.590 and 0.855, respectively. These were shown economic infeasibility. But, running water culture by pre-water treatment(small scale) and running water culture by pre-water treatment(large scale) were analyzed that the one is 5,555,747 thousand won and 15,048,589 thousand won and the other is 1,154 and 1,1221, respectively. these were shown economic feasibility. In addition, measurement of B/C ratio through a sensitivity analysis on running water cultural by pre-water treatment(small scale) and running water cultural by pre-water treatment(large scale) is economic feasibility in all cases. However, these were analyzed when the selling price was falling to 20 percent, it has shown economic infeasibility and when the selling price rises to 20 percent, water recycling culture by post-water treatment has economic feasibility. The significance of the study analyzed a sensibility as well as economic feasibility by methods and scales. It is expected that used as basic materials when constructing and operating of land aquaculture in order to minimize the damage from natural disasters.

농어촌지역 BcN 기반구축 사업타당성 분석 (An Analysis of BcN Feasibility of Area of Agricultural and Fishing Village)

  • 본 논문은 정부의 광대역통합망(BcN) 구축의 일환으로서 농어촌지역의 BcN 기반구축 사업의 타당성 분석을 목적으로 한다. 사업타당성 분석을 위하여 새로운 평가지표를 도출하고 전문가설문을 활용한 AHP 기법을 사용하여 사업타당성을 평가하였다. 그리고, 관련 선행연구를 살펴봄으로써 적합한 평가지표를 도출하고 계층화 분석법(AHP)을 사용하여 BcN 사업타당성을 평가하도록 한다. 그 결과 주요 타당성 지표로서 경제적 타당성, 기술적 타당성, 정책적 타당성 등이 BcN 사업타당성 지표로 도출되었으며, 평가기준으로 이해되었다. 연구결과 사업시행은 타당한 것으로 나타났으며, 분석의 신뢰도를 나타내는 비일관성지수는 0.0566으로 낮게 나타났다. 그리고, 향후 BcN 구축사업이 국민의 생활개선 향상에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다. 또한 BcN 사업을 합리적으로 추진하기 위한 기초자료로서 가치가 있을 것이다.

넙치양식 선발육종사업의 경제효과 (An Economic Effect of the selective breeding program on the Oliver flounder Aquaculture)

  • This study is aimed to analyze the economic feasibility of the selective breeding program on the Oliver flounder aquaculture. First of all, in order to evaluate this program, we review the concept and research trend on the selective breeding. The objective of this research is the selective breeding program on the Oliver flounder aquaculture in the Genetics and Breeding Research Center, NFRDI. It was conducted to investigated economic effects of three factors of the selective breeding program on the Oliver flounder aquaculture such as fast growth, disease resistance and increase exports. The results of economic analysis of the selective breeding program on the Oliver flounder aquaculture are as follows; First, there were the significant meaning of the economic effects on the technology of the selective breeding program by fast growth, disease resistance and increase exports. Second, we analyzed in the economic feasibility of the selective breeding program on the Oliver flounder aquaculture from 2004 to 2020, internal rate of return(IRR) was 419%, a benefit-cost ratio was shown to be 24.92, net present value(NPV) was 989,942,464 thousand won, which indicates the economic feasibility of the selective breeding program is very high. Finally, in order to improve the economic feasibility, there is need to be focused on the efficient the selective breeding program on the Oliver flounder aquaculture.

동합금 가두리망 방어양식의 경제성과 수익구조 (Economic Feasibility of Culture Using the Copper Alloy Net Cage and the Profit Model of Fish Farm on Yellowtail, Seriola quinqueradiata)

  • This study is aimed to analyze the economic feasibility of yellowtail culture using the copper alloy net cage in Gyeongsangbuk-do. First of all, in order to evaluate the copper alloy net cage on yellowtail culture, I review the trend on the yellowtail culture industry and research the concept of copper alloy net cage. The copper-alloy net cage is now recognized as an advantages of its system stability, recycling, antibiosis and food safety. The results were summarized as follows: first, there was significant meaning of the profit model of yellowtail culture by the price difference. Second, I analyzed in the economic feasibility of yellowtail culture using the copper alloy net cage, internal rate of return (IRR) was 51.58%, a benefit-cost ratio was shown to be 2.27 and net present value (NPV) was 1,087,337 thousand won, which indicates the economic feasibility of yellowtail culture using the copper alloy net cage is profitable. Finally, in order to improve the economic valuation, it is necessary to focus more on the developing of technology and cost reduction strategy on the copper alloy net cage.

해양레저선박에 대한 사업 타당성 분석 연구 (A Study on Business Feasibility for Marine Leisure Ships)

  • 신규 해상교통수단을 통한 섬 접근 이동성 강화를 위해서는 해당 선박의 투입에 따른 객관적인 사업성에 대한 검토가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 기존에 운영 중인 유사 해양레저선박 운영비와 운임기준을 근거로 하여 비용과 수입을 추정한 뒤, 이를 바탕으로 비용-편익 분석, 순현재가치, 내부수익률을 통해 사업 타당성을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 또한 최소 경제성 확보를 위한 요건을 파악하기 위하여 항목별로 민감도 분석을 수행하였다. 연구결과 신조선 도입을 가정하였을 때, B/C 비율이 1.042, NPV는 1.93억 원, IRR은 2.1%로 추정되어 수익성이 미약하게 확보되는 것으로 분석되었다.

기후기술 융·복합 사업모델 평가를 위한 지표 개발 (Development of Indicators for Assessment of Technology Integrated Business Models in Climate Change Responses)

  • Climate technology applied to address climate change requires a comprehensive review such as environmental and social acceptability in addition to economic feasibility. Not only mitigation and adaptation technologies, but also integration of climate technologies into a business model with other relevant technologies including ICT, finance, and policy instruments could enhance technical, economic, and environmental performances to respond to climate changes. However, many climate projects (and business models) are currently not designed to consider adequately complex climate?related issues. In addition, there is a lack of research on assessment systems that can comprehensively evaluate business feasibility of such models. In this study, we developed a system consisting of nine major indicators in four fields to assess climate technology-based business models. Each indicator was weighed using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) for systematic assessment of business models. The process can be utilized as a tool to guide improvement of climate technology business models.

넙치 배합사료 및 생사료의 경제성 비교분석 (An Economic Feasibility Comparison of the extruded pellets and moist pellet on the Oliver flounder Culture Farms)

  • This study is aimed to analyze the economic feasibility comparison of the extruded pellets and moist pellets on the Oliver flounder culture farms in Jeju Island. In order to do this, we selected 2 farms (M and S farms) in Jeju Island as a sample. In the study, various analyses including productivity analysis, cost structure analysis, profitability and economic feasibility analysis by feed type were conducted for two sample farms of Oliver flounder culture. The results of economic analysis by feed type on the Oliver flounder culture can be summarized as follows; First, there were not significant differences in productivity by feed type. Second, results of the profitability analysis on farm M by feed type showed the profitability was estimated to be 15.52% and 9.83% in EP and MP, respectively. In addition, the profitability of farm S was estimated to be 28.37% and 33.72% in EP and MP, respectively. Third, results of the economic analysis on farm M by feed type indicated that an internal rate of return(IRR) was 8% and 7% and a benefit-cost ratio was shown to be 1.64 and 1.11 in EP and MP, respectively. Furthermore, the economic analysis of farm M by feed type showed that an IRR was 19% and 24% and a benefit-cost ratio was calculated to be 1.4 and 1.51 in EP and MP, respectively. In summary, it is especially emphasized that economic valuation is not related to feed types (EP and MP). Finally, in order to improve the economic feasibility, it should be more focused on the efficient business management of the Oliver flounder aquaculture.
