고출력 슁글드 태양광 모듈 컬러 적용에 따른 출력 특성 분석 (Analysis of Power Characteristics of High-Power Shingled Photovoltaic Module with Color Application)

  • BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaic) supplemented the minimum area problem required when installing existing solar modules. However, in order to apply it to buildings, research was needed to increase the aesthetics of solar modules and use them as a design. Accordingly, modules with color applied to the entire surface of the photovoltaic module were being developed, but there was a disadvantage of low power. Therefore, by dividing and bonding the cell strips, it was possible to improve the output power by applying a shingled technology in which other divided cells overlap in a busbar region where light couldn't be received. Shingled technology was advantageous for color modules because the front busbar part that degrades aesthetics was removed. In this research, four color shingled solar modules (Green, Yellow, Blue, Gray) were manufactured and power degradation was analyzed by measuring transmittance and reflectance. Gray color had 80.83% transmittance, which was 31.31% higher than Yellow, resulting in a power difference of 4.45 W.

  • Injection molding is a process widely used across various industries for molding plastics, and it is the most commonly applied process in root industries utilizing molds. Among the different types of injection molding, insert injection molding, where busbars are used as inserts, is increasingly being applied in the electric vehicle industry. However, currently, the insert injection molding process is manually performed, with workers placing insert components by hand before injection molding. This results in issues related to productivity, safety, and quality. Additionally, there is a growing demand for automation of such production lines due to hazardous working conditions, economic difficulties in the manufacturing industry, and the decline in the labor force caused by an aging population. This study focuses on the application of an automated system for the insert injection molding process used in electric vehicles. The development of an automated system for the transport and insertion of insert components, as well as the inspection and stacking processes after injection, has resulted in over a 25% improvement in productivity and more than a 27% reduction in defect rates.

  • Bifacial photovoltaic (PV) technology has received considerable attention in recent years due to the potential to achieve a higher annual energy yield compared to its monofacial PV systems. In this study, we fabricated the bifacial c-Si PV module with a shingled design using the conventional patterned bifacial solar cells. The shingled design PV module has recently attracted attention as a high-power module. Compared to the conventional module, it can have a much more active area due to the busbar-free structure. We employed the transparent backsheet for a light reception at the rear side of the PV module. Finally, we achieved a conversion power of 453.9 W for a 1300 mm × 2000 mm area. Moreover, we perform reliability tests to verify the durability of our Shingled Design Bifacial c-Si Photovoltaic module.

EMTP/RV를 이용한 22.9kV GIS 모델링과 과도회복전압 해석 (22.9kV GIS Modeling and Transient Recovery Voltage Analysis Using EMTP/RV)

  • The recent power system is required to a large size of facilities and high power technology according to increasing power demand. However, it could lead to spoiling the beauty of city and environment problem. The miniaturized facilities with large capacity such as GIS have been required in recent power system. The GIS(Gas Insulated Substation) using the SF6 insulation gas enables to miniaturize facilities with large capacity with high insulation performance. However, the substation installed GIS has required to new design model which is different from the conventional substation. The TRV(Transient Recovery Voltage) analysis on simple circuit may applied by differential equation. However, in case of relatively complicated system, EMTP(Electro Magnetic Transients Program) mainly has been used to design and simulate for transient analysis. This paper mainly design the 22.9 kV GIS system and analyze the transient recovery voltage of main circuit breaker using EMTP/RV. It also enables to easily design the other substation installed GIS with same maker and voltage level because the proposed GIS model consists of separated modules such as busbar, circuit breaker, bushing, CT, PT etc. Eventually, it contributes to comfortably compare the interrupting performance of circuit breaker and system TRV corresponding to the substation system configuration.

IED를 기반으로 하는 디지털 수배전반의 지적추론기반 운전제어 솔루션 설계 (The Design of Operation and Control Solution with Intelligent Inference Capability for IED based Digital Switchgear Panel)

  • In this paper, DSPOCS(Digital Switchgear-Panel Operation and Control Solution) is designed, which is the intelligent inference based operation and control solution to obtain the safety and reliability of electric power supply in substation based on IED. DSPOCS is designed as a scheduled monitoring and control task and a real-time alarm inference task, and is interlinked with BRES(Bus Reconfiguration Expert System) in the required case. The intelligent alarm inference task consists of the alarm knowledge generation part and the real-time pattern matching part. The alarm knowledge generation part generates automatically alarm knowledge from DB saves it in alarm knowledge base. On the other hand, the pattern matching part inferences the real-time event by comparing the real-time event information furnished from IEDs of substation with the patterns of the saved alarm knowledge base.; Especially, alarm knowledge base includes the knowledge patterns related with fault alarm, the overload alarm and the diagnosis alarm. In order to design the database independently in substation structure, busbar is represented as a connectivity node which makes the more generalized graph theory possible. Finally, DSPOCS is implemented in MS Visual $C^{++}$, MFC, the effectiveness and accuracy of the design is verified by simulation study to the typical distribution substation.

  • This paper describes the theory and practical design of Rogowski coil and active integrator. The coils and integrators have the ratings as follows. 1) current ratings between 20kArms and 200kArms 2) current duration 3 seconds 3) time constant of primary circuit looms 4) inner diameter of coil is suitable for mounting at the busbar $200mm{\times}200mm$. The actual results in the short-circuit tests and compare with other sensors, such that shunt. are given also.

  • In order to design the current carrying conductor for GIS, it is important to predict temperature-rise when rated current flows. This paper deals with the coupling of Flux2D and analytic method to calculate the heat transfer coefficient. Heat transfer by conduction and convection is considered between the current carrying conductor and $SF_6$ gas. The result shows reasonable temperature distribution.

  • Extremely-Low-Frequency(ELF) magnetic fields are generated around power cables and bus bars in power systems. Such the stray fields may cause disturbances to nearby electronic apparatus and affect even human health. In order to seeking out a proper way to reducing the fields, the first thing to do is to accurately predict field distribution around analysis models of interest. Then, optimization techniques should be applied for finding a more improved design than the initial one. To achieve this goal, commercial electromagnetic software, MagNet, is combined with evolution strategy algorithm. For verification of the proposed method, three-phase power line cables and busbar systems have been tested.

전극형성과 태양전지 모듈 일체화 기술 개발에 적용되는 태양전지 전극 설계 기술 (Electrode Design for Electrode Formation and PV Module Integration Development)

  • This study was on electrode design for the realization of a solar cell that combines electrode formation and module integration process to overcome printing limitations. We used the passivated emitter rear contact (PERC) solar cell. Wafer size was 156.75 mm ×156.75 mm. The fabricated cell results showed that the open-circuit voltage of 649 mV, short-circuit current density of 36.15 mA/cm2, fill factor of 68.5%, and efficiency of 16.06% with electrode conditions the 24BBs with the width 190 ㎛ and 90FBs with the width 45 ㎛. For improving efficiency, the characteristics of the solar cell were checked according to the change in the number of BBs and FBs and the change in line fine width. It is confirmed that the efficiency of the solar cell will be improved by increasing the number of FBs from 90 to 120, and increasing the line width of the FBs by about 10 ㎛ compared to the manufacturing solar cells.

  • 케이블 및 버스바는 전원을 공급하는 부대 장치로 산업 전반에 걸쳐 널리 사용되고 있다. 대부분의 경우 일정 주기로 점검 및 교체 등의 유지 보수를 진행하나 ITER IVC 버스바 및 지중케이블 등의 특수한 경우에서는 접근성 및 작업성의 이유로 유지 보수를 진행 할 수 없다. 이러한 경우, 절연물 내부에 전기 트리가 발생했을 때에는 대책이 없다. 전기 트리는 부분적인 고전계에 의한 진성파괴, 전하의 주입 또는 추출에 의한 파괴 및 전기-기계적 응력(맥스웰 응력)에 의한 파괴, 미소 부분 방전에 의한 파괴의 가장 큰 고장요인이 되는 현상이며, 다양한 사고 사례가 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 유한요소해석법을 이용하여 전기 트리를 가지는 사각 버스바에 대한 전계해석을 진행하였고, 전기 트리를 방지 할 수 있는 사각 버스바의 절연 설계에 대한 방안을 제시한다. 이 설계 방안은 향후 전기 트리를 고려한 사각 버스바의 절연 설계 기초 데이터로 활용 될 것이다.
