시뮬레이션 도구 SMPLE의 개발 및 멀티프로세서 시스템 성능 분석에의 활용 (Development of Simulation Tool SMPLE and Its Application to Performance Analysis of Multiprocessor Systems)

  • This paper presents the development of event-driven system level simulation tool SMPLE(Smpl Extende, an extention fo smpl) and its application to the performance analysis of multiprocessor computer systems. Because of its data structure, it is very difficult to change, expand or add new functions to simulation language smpl implemented by MacDougall. In SMPLE, we change data structure with structure and pointer, add new functions, and enable dynamic memory management. Using new data structure, facilities, and functions added in SMPLE, we simulate job processing of a shared bus multiprocessor system with autonomous hierarchical I/O subsystem. We set system performance contribution of subsystems and units. The impact of disk I/O on system performance is evaluated under vairous conditions of number of processors, processing power, memory access time and disk seek time.

부산지역 도시교통체계의 개선방안에 관한 연구 (Improvement on the Urban Transportation System in Pusan Area)

  • Most of Cities are suffering from the traffic congestion problem with the vehicles increased. Especially, the City of Pusan is experiencing the severest traffic congestion with the lower read capacity and the higher travel demand than any other cities in the country. Thus, the purpose of this study was to grasp the conditions, review the problems and finally suggest the improvements which we faced at this time for the construction of the Urban Transportation System considered in Pusan area. Based upon the results, it was concluded that firstly the Urban Transportation System(UTS) in Pusan area should be constructed by the Public Transportation System in the center of the Public Transit Modes(i.e., bus and subway), secondly the Para-transit Modes(i.e., Light Rail Transit, LRT) introduced, and thirdly the Transportation Demand Management(TDM) implemented with the expansion of the transportation facilities if possible.

A Study on integrated water management system based on Web maps

  • Initial prevention activities and rapid propagation conditions is the most important to prevent diffusion of water pollution. If water pollutants flow into streams river or main stresm located in environmental conservation area or water intake facilities, we must predict immediately arrival time and the diffusion concentration to the proactive. National Institute of Environmental Research developed water pollution incident response prediction system linking dam and movable weir. the system is mathematical model which is updated daily. Therefore it can quickly predict the arrival time and the diffusion concentration when there are accident of oil spills and hazardous chemicals. Also we equipped with mathematical model and toxicity model of EFDC(Environmental Fluid Dynamics Code) to calculate the arrival time and the diffusion concentration. However these systems offer the services of an offline manner than real-time control services. we have ensured the reliability of data collection and have developed a real-time water quality measurement data transmission device by using the data linkage utilizing a mode bus communication and a commercial SCADA system, in particular, we implemented to be able to do real-time water quality prediction through information infrastructure of the water quality integrated management business created by utilizing the construction of the real-time prediction system that utilizes the data collected, the Open map, the visual representation using charts API and development of integrated management system development based on web maps.

모악산 도립공원 이용실태 분석에 관한 연구 (A study on the users' behavior and satisfaction in Moaksan provincial park)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest objective basic data for park management proposal through the quantitative analysis of users' behaviors and satisfaction for the actual conditions of management in Moaksan provincial park. For this, users' behaviors and socio-ecnomic characteristics have been analyzed. Specifically, it attempts to investigate users' anticipation and degree of satisfaction applied Expectancy Theory by Likert scale. And users' satisfaction for the actual conditions of management had been analyzed by using the multiple regression. Results of this study can be summarized as follows ; From the aspect of utilization reality, the male usage was silighty higher than female usage, and the usage rate reality, the male usage was slighty higher than female usage, and the usage rate among the young and students such as university students also appeared slightly higher than the norm. Due to the fact, subject park had been provincial park, bus usage was predominant, and users' visit park 1 or 2 times a year. Generally, the value of users' post occupancy evaluation were higher than those of anticipated, and Use in night and facilities were lower. A sense of the season, dense of forest, beauty of skyline and a perspective view appeared as main explicatory variables having positive effects on the satisfaction level for the landscape. Amount of plant and shade were positive variables on the satisfaction and users' had dissatisfaction with trial damage. According to the multiple regression analysis, the major variables to the satisfaction for the actual condition of vegetation management were diversity, recovery of artificial injury.

도보여행 활성화를 위한 탐방로 시설 및 운영 관리 실태 평가 - 강화 나들길을 중심으로 - (Evaluation of Trail Facility and Operation-Management for Walking Tour Revitalization - focus on Ganghwa Nadeul-gil -)

  • 본 연구는 도보여행 탐방로의 평가 기준을 도출하고, 탐방로 시설과 운영관리 실태를 평가하는데 목적이 있다. 도보여행 연구를 바탕으로 탐방로 시설과 운영관리에 대한 평가 지표를 도출하였고, 탐방자원, 탐방시설, 탐방로 운영관리로 구분하였다. 강화 나들길의 이용 만족도가 높은 코스를 선정하였고 자연중심형과 문화중심형 탐방로로 분류하여 강화 나들길의 탐방로 실태를 평가하였다. 자연중심형 탐방로는 탐방로와 연계된 마을의 생활문화자원을 발굴해야 하고, 버스정류장, 슈퍼마켓을 이용하여 편의시설을 조성해야 한다. 문화중심형 탐방로는 쇠퇴시설을 활용한 경제적 재생 방안을 마련해야 한다.

  • 유무인 항공기에 적용되는 비행제어컴퓨터는 항공기의 제어와 직결되는 핵심 부품 중 하나로, 결함이 발생되더라도 비행에 필수적인 기능들을 유지할 수 있도록 다중화 구조로 설계하는 것이 일반적이다. 이러한 다중화 비행제어컴퓨터에 탑재되는 운용 소프트웨어는 다중화 채널 간의 실행 시간 동기화, 다중화 센서의 입력 데이터 선택 등을 고려하여 설계해야 하고, 각 채널의 결함을 검출하여 채널 전환 또는 채널 격리를 할 수 있는 방법이 적용되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 AAV(advanced air vehicle)에 적용되는 삼중화 소형비행제어컴퓨터 (CFCC; compact flight control computer) 간의 다중화 관리 방안을 제시한다. 제시하는 다중화 관리 방안은 삼중화 채널간의 동기화 알고리즘, 센서 입력 데이터 선택 방법, 제어 명령 출력을 위한 버스 제어권 선택 방법, 채널의 결함 탐지 및 격리 방법을 포함한다.

  • 효율적인 도심 관리를 위해 다양한 시스템들이 사용되어 왔다. 본고에서는, radio over fiber (RoF) 와 passive optical network (PON) 기술을 결합하여 각 시스템 장점들을 이용하는 통합 도심 관리 시스템 (IUMS)을 소개한다. 아울러, 미래 ubiquitous city (U-city)의 실현을 위한 통합 도심 관리 시스템 적용의 타당성을 부여하기 위해 버스 정보 시스템 (BIS), 유무선 방재 시스템 (DDPS) 및 실시간 위치 정보 추적 시스템 (RTLS) 등을 포함한 다양한 통합 도심 관리 시스템을 적용한 서비스들을 상세히 기술한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 항목의 정보를 담고 있는 다종다형자료의 메타 정보를 하나의 시스템에서 통합하여 검색 및 관리할 수 있으며, 관리되고 있는 메타 데이터에서 사용자가 필요한 검색 항목을 자유롭게 정의할 수 있는 사용자 인터페이스를 제공할 수 있는 시스템에 대해 연구하였다. 본 시스템의 특징은 다종다형 메타정보 관리가 가능하며 다양한 시스템 간 손쉬운 통합을 지원할 수 있는 데이터베이스 통합 버스, 다종다형 자료들의 사용자별 맞춤 서비스가 가능한 사용자별 검색 항목 지정 설정이 있다. 본 논문에서 연구한 시스템은 현재 ICT 분야에서 각광받고 있는 빅데이터 관리가 가능할 것으로 판단되며 향후 다양한 분야의 다종다형자료들을 효과적으로 관리하고 다양한 환경을 가지고 있는 시스템 간 통합을 손쉽게 수행할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

상용자동차 정비업체의 입지선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Location of Bus & Truck Automobile Maintenance Company)

  • Automobiles are largely divided into passenger cars with less than five passengers and commercial vehicles such as construction machines, trucks, mixers, special lorries, and large buses. Automobile maintenance companies are also divided into passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Because commercial vehicles are the livelihood vehicles of individual carriers engaged in cargo transportation, passenger transportation, and construction, fast and accurate maintenance is important. Access to the expressway is also important because the car is large and uses highways. In addition, the time required for troubleshooting is long, so sufficient space must be secured for parking the vehicle, and ease of entry and exit of the vehicle in the maintenance shop should be fully considered. For this reason, commercial vehicle maintenance companies have higher initial investment costs than car maintenance companies, and it is difficult to supply and maintain maintenance personnel. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully examine and analyze various related factors for successful commercial vehicle maintenance company selection. However, most existing commercial vehicle maintenance companies often choose their location based on the empirical judgment of the founder, the customs and the case, without a clear analysis. In this study, we show how to derive the location selection factors to be considered when establishing professional maintenance company for commercial vehicles and to select the optimal location by using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method.

LID/BMPs 효과분석을 위한 LIDMOD2 개발 (LIDMOD2 Development for Evaluation of LID/BMPs)

  • LIDMOD2 was developed for evaluation of low impact development (LID) and best management practice (BMP) by modification of Site Evaluation Tool (SET). The modification includes employment of SCS-CN method for annual runoff simulation, unit load method for annual pollutant loads simulation, and the method proposed by Korean TMDL for calculating pollutant reduction by BMPs. The CN values were updated with regionalized parameters within Nack-Dong River basin because these are important parameters for simulating hydrology. LIDMOD2 was tested by applying to Andong Bus terminal. As a simulation results, pollutant loads and surface runoff will be significantly increased by post-development without LID compared with those from pre-development. LID technique was simulated to efficiently reduce surface runoff and pollutant load and increase infiltration. LIDMOD2 is screening level tool and easy to use because LIDMOD2 is based on spread sheet and most of parameters are regionalized. LIDMOD2 was illustrate that it could evaluate LID well by summarizing and graphing annual hydrology, annual pollutant loading, and hydrograph for event storm. The calculation methods related with pollutant loads are employed from the guideline of Korean TMDL and it can be useful tool for Korean TMDL to evaluate the effect of LID/BMP on developing area.
