The initial thermal analysis needs to be fast and efficient to reduce the feedback time for the optimal electronic equipment designing. In this study, a thermal model is developed by using power consumption measurement values of each functional breadboard, that is, semi-empirical power dissipation method. In modeling heat dissipated EEE parts, power dissipation is imposed evenly on the EEE part footprint area which is projected to the printed circuit board, and is called surface heat model. The application of these methods is performed in the development of a command and telemetry unit (CTU) for a geostationary satellite. Finally, the thermal cycling test is performed to verify the applied thermal analysis methods.

상암동 월드컵 주정기장은 축구 전용경기장으로서 2002년 월드컵 축구경기를 위한 꿈과 감동의 라이브 스테이지로서의 스타디움 시설로 각종 국내외 축구경기는 물론 문화행사를 효율적으로 운영할 수 있도록 계획되었다. 이에 효율적인 경기장 시스템 구성과 적정한 전기시설물 설치로 최상의 경기운영을 할 수 있도록 전력시스템을 안정화 하였으며, 월드컵 경기 이후 스포츠공간과 상업시설, 공공시설 등 복합화된 스포츠 문화시설에 부합할 수 있도록 수변전 설비 및 방재센타 등을 다분화하여 시설하였으며 국제적 행사의 장에 전기인으로서 일익을 담당할 수 있었음에 감사한 마음이다.

This paper analyzed some financial counseling cases on the internet and suggested a framework for the improved financial counseling. Data of 392 financial counseling cases were gathered from the site bulletin board whose members were mostly housewives. The largely demanded contents of counseling were about 1) general financial procedures and the evaluation of household financial condition, 2) saving and investment, 3) buying and canceling insurance, and 4) debt repayment and debt availability. Based on the data analysis, a special format which requires on the personal and financial information of consumers was developed. In a way to help counselors and clients far questions asked often, FAQs is also suggested. Finally the arrangement and development of financial planning related softwares were investigated.

본 연구는 학교에서 얻어지는 교사들의 경험을 바탕으로 인터넷을 통한 학생상담의 효율성 증대를 위한 상담 사례 검색 시스템을 구축하는데 있다. 이 시스템은 관리자 모듈과 사용자 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 사용자 모듈은 상담사례 검색 및 입력, 게시판, 자료실 등을 이용할 수 있게 되어 있으며, 관리자 모듈은 자료 관리와 회원 관리 기능을 제공한다. 본 상담사례 검색 시스템은 학생 상담의 성공 확률을 증대시킬 수 있다. 교사가 인터넷을 이용하여 그들의 상담사례를 원격지에서도 쉽게 공유할 수 있기 때문이다.

This study examined the role of contextual knowledge in cross-cultural communication between non-native speakers on an interactive web with a bulletin board system through which college students of English at Japanese and Korean universities interacted with each other discussing the topics of local and global issues. The study investigated the influence of students' relative contextual knowledge on active participation in interactions and discussed the results focusing on the use of discourse strategies for meaning negotiation. The study argues that in interactions even between non-native speakers with limited proficiency, contextual knowledge in the topic under discussion affects the degree to which they accommodate to each other during communication and suggests that the focus of teaching English as a foreign language also should be given to what kind of contextual knowledge students need to obtain and how to express it rather than what level of proficiency in English they need to acquire.

Korea Aerospace Research Institute has developed an earth observation satellite and it was launched into its orbit in 2012 by using a foreign commercial launch vehicle. The launch site authority has imposed safety requirements to the spacecraft developer to ensure the safety of the personnel and to protect launch vehicle, spacecraft and facilities from accidents associated with the satellite operation at the launch site. This paper describes the range safety activities implemented for the satellite and supporting equipments during the whole phase of their design, manufacturing/test and operation at the launch site. To ensure the integrated requirements for safety management and design, system safety program plan has been developed. And based upon the plan, spacecraft developer conducted hazard analysis to identify and establish safety requirements to reflect in designs, procedures, operations. The result of the hazard analysis has been complied into safety data packages and it was reviewed by launch site review board at the safety reviews and finally it was approved to launch.

위성에서 생성된 원격측정데이터를 지상으로 전송하는 다운링크 방식에는 저속 전송방식과 고속 전송방식이 있다. 저속 전송방식에서는 실시간 데이터만 전송되고 고속 전송방식에서는 실시간 데이터와 함께 대용량메모리에 저장된 데이터를 동시에 전송할 수 있다. 정상적인 경우 고속 전송방식으로 운영되어 실시간 데이터와 함께 대용량메모리에 저장된 데이터에서 마지막으로 전송된 지점부터 새로 저장된 지점까지 전송하는 방식으로 운영된다. 대용량메모리는 주/부 2개의 탑재컴퓨터에 각각 탑재되어 사용되는데, 사용되는 메모리가 변경되는 경우 이에 따라 다운링크 채널 및 해당 채널의 전송속도도 변경해 주어야 한다. 지상에서 변경하는 경우, 사용되는 메모리 및 전송방식을 고려하여 이에 따른 명령절차를 수행해야 하고, 위성에서 사용되는 메모리를 자동적으로 변경하는 경우에는 다운링크 채널 및 해당 채널의 전송속도를 자동적으로 변경하여 지상에서 다운링크가 중단되는 경우가 없도록 되어 있다. 본 논문은 차세대 저궤도 위성 다운링크 제어 절차에 대한 것으로 생성된 원격측정데이터를 지상으로 전송하기 위한 다운링크 방식, 다운링크 채널변경 절차, On-Board에서 수행되는 다운링크 채널 자동변경방식에 대해서 소개한다.

Coronal mass ejection (CME) plasmas have been observed in EUV and X-ray passbands as well as in white light. Mass of CME has been determined using polarized brightness observed by the Large Angle and Spectrometric Coronagraph Experiment (LASCO) on board Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO). Therefore, this mass obtained from the LASCO observation indicates the total CME mass. However, the mass of CME plasma in different temperatures can be determined in EUV and X-ray passbands using observations by SOHO/EIT, STEREO/EUVI, and Hinode/XRT. Prominence/CME plasmas have been observed as absorption or emission features in EUV and X-ray passbands. The absorption features provide a lower limit to cold mass. In addition, the emission features provide an upper limit to the mass of plasmas in temperature ranges of EUV and X-ray. We determine the mass constraints using the emission measure obtained by assuming the prominence/CME structures. This work will address the mass constraints of hot and cold plasmas in CMEs, comparing to total CME mass.

인터넷(internet)에서 웹 브라우징(web browsing)을 통한 정보검색은 일반적인 주제에 대한 텍스트 또는 이미지 정보를 획득하는데 유용하지만, 각 사용자가 자신이 해소하고자 하는 특정의 궁금한 사항과 관련하여 자신의 구체적 특수성에 적합한 정보를 획득하기는 어려운 경우가 많다. 이와 같은 개인적 궁금증을 해소시켜 줄 수 있는 방안으로 많은 인터넷 이용자들이 웹사이트에서 제공하는 게시판을 이용하지만, 각 사이트마다 특화된 주제만을 다루고 있기 때문에 다른 주제에 대한 애로를 가진 사용자는 적절한 게시판을 운영하는 웹사이트를 탐색해야만 하는 어려움이 있다. 본 연구는 웹사이트에서 서비스하는 게시판간 상호 연계를 통해 애로문의의 종합처리가 가능하도록 중앙 호스트 사이트에 질문을 집중시키고 또한 이렇게 집중된 질문을 다시 처리가 가능한 사이트로 집중된 질문을 배분하여 보다 정확하고 신속하게 처리할 수 있도록 하는 모델을 제시한다.

The cosmic ray experiment (CRE) on board the KITSAT-1 has been operating normally since the launch of the satellite. CRE is composed of two parts : the cosmic particle experiment (CPE) and the total dose experiment (TDE). Of these, we will discuss on the CPE results obtained the last several months. The data show much larger high energy Particle flux than the Previous UOSAT-3 data. The 550(single event upset) rate is also an order of magnitude higher than the UOSAT-3result.
