Although traffic information has been actively analyzed using big data, it has not been used as much with the consideration of driver characteristics. Among the various types of information, road signs can directly affect the driver. Road signs must provide the optimal information that enables drivers to reach their destinations with ease as well as information suitable for navigation systems. However, present road sign rules provide standardized information, regardless of the road type or size. This study suggests a method for providing road information that will help drivers determine their behavior. First, the minimum character size that can be used on a road sign for each design speed was obtained with respect to the visibility and decipherability of a road sign. Instead of conventional diagram-based direction guidance, a scenario using split-based direction guidance was created. To verify the effectiveness of the provided information, a three-dimensional simulated road environment was constructed, and a driving simulator was used for the test. At a simple plane intersection, the driver was not greatly influenced by directional guidance, but at a complex, three-dimensional intersection, the driver preferred summary-based directional guidance, which is instinctive guidance, over diagram-based guidance. On the basis of the test results, a secondary verification test that applied split-based guidance at a three-dimensional intersection confirmed that the driver had no problems in making decisions.

In this paper, non-linear analysis was performed for Reinforced Concrete (RC) walls using different macroscopic models subjected to cyclic loading, and the analytical results were compared with previous experimental studies of RC walls. ASCE41-06 (American Society of Civil Engineers) specifies that the hysteresis behaviors of RC walls are different due to the aspect ratio of the walls. For a comparison between analytical and experimental results, a slender wall with an aspect ratio exceeding 3.0 and a squat wall with an aspect ratio of 1.0 were selected among previous research works. For the non-linear analysis, each test specimen was modeled using two different macroscopic methods: the first representing the flexural behavior of the RC wall, and the second considering the diagonal shear in the web of the wall. Through nonlinear analysis of the considered RC walls, the analytical difference of a slender wall was negligible due to the different macroscopic modeling methods. However, the squat wall was significantly affected by the considered components of the modeling method. For an accurate performance evaluation of the RC building with squat walls, it would be reasonable to use a macroscopic model considering diagonal shear.

This study evaluated the architectural density of urban district using airborne laser scanning(ALS) that is a method used in urban planning, water resources and disaster prevention with high interest recently. First, digital elevation model(DEM) and digital surface model(DSM) was constructed from Light detection and ranging(LiDAR). For getting the height of building, ZONALMEAN filter was used in DEM and ZONALMAJORITY filter was used in DSM. This study compared the floor from filtering with the floor from survey and got standard error, which is ${\pm}0.199$ floor. Also, through the overlay and statistical analysis of total-area layer and zone layer, we could present floor area ratio by zone. As a result of comparison with floor area ratio between airborne laser scanning data and survey data, the standard error of floor area ratio shows ${\pm}2.68%$. Therefore, we expect that airborne laser scanning data can be a very efficient source to decision makers who set up landuse plan in near future.
The WCO Time Release Study (TRS) is a unique tool and method for measuring the actual performance of Customs activities. The ultimate aim of TRS is to improve the performance of the function being measured. To be more specific, TRS is used for identifying bottlenecks in the international supply chain and/or constraints affecting Customs release, assessing newly introduced and modified techniques, procedures, technologies and infrastructure, or administrative changes, establishing baseline trade facilitation performance measurement, identifying opportunities for trade facilitation improvements and estimating the country's approximate comparative position as a benchmark tool. The effective utilization methods of TRS for trade facilitation in Korea Customs Services are as follows ; Firstly, it is necessary to make every efforts to identify bottlenecks in border-related procedures and improve their procedures for continuous and more improved trade facilitation. Secondly, it is necessary to optimize and simplify export-related procedures using the TRS in exportation for efficiency of total international supply chain. Thirdly, it is necessary to make coordinated border management with main trading partners. Lastly, it is necessary to enhance Korea's international status to support underdeveloped countries in the field of trade procedures.
Even though concrete is the most important material for building structures, its intrinsic gray color degrades urban esthetics. In order to improve this problem, coloring methods of mixing pigment in concrete batch and painting the surface of concrete surface have been tried. However, applications of the coloring methods in construction field are difficult due to high cost and low durability. Recently, acid stain agent is emerging as a new coloring method for concrete. It is able to apply a remarkably thin colored layer on a concrete surface from chemical reaction between acid and alkaline solutions. This study has examined the changes and variations of the surface layer of mortar specimen from chemical reaction of acid stained agents. The colors were changed into natural irregular stains according to aging. After the staining, no shape change was found from visible inspections. Microstructure of the colored surface applied with acid stained agent was much rougher than that of original mortar. When the colored layer was compared to original surface, crystals of hydrate such as $Ca(OH)_2$ and C-S-H gel were observed. Surface hardness was same or slightly higher in the colored layer. The value of pH was reduced by approximately 10%, weight contents of elements such as Ca, Si, and Al were low. In the chemical composition of the colored layer, the non-cement based elements of Mn, Cr, and Cu increased. Also, Fe and alkali elements of K and Na increased.
Since nursing has come of age both as a profession and as a scholarly discipline, there has been increasing concern with delineating its theory base. In 1978 Chinn and Jacobs asserted that “the development of theory is the most crucial task facing nursing today.” The basic building blocks of theories are concepts. Concept formation begins in infancy, for concepts help us to categorize and organize our environmental stimuli. Concepts help us to identify how our experiences are similar or equivalent by categorizing all the things that are alike about them. concepts can be primitive, concrete, or abstract. Concept Analysis is a strategy that examines the attributes or characteristics of a concept. It is a formal, linguistic exercise to determine those defining attributes. It encourages communication. Its basic purpose is to distinguish between the defining and irrelevant attributes of a concept similarities. It is a process of determining the differences between concepts and it is useful for several reasons. It is an excellent way to begin examining information in preparation for research or theory construction and results in an operational definition and a list of defining attributes and antecedents. It provides the scientist with an excellent beginning for a new tool, is an excellent way of evaluating an old one and is useful in evaluating existing instruments. The steps of concept analysis are : 1. Select a concept, 2. Determine the aims or purposes of the analysis, 3. Identify all uses of the concept that you can discover, 4. Determine the defining attributes, 5. Construct a model case, 6. Construct borderline, re-lated, contrary, invented, and illegitimate cases, 7. Identify antecedents and consequences, 8. Define empirical referents. In this paper, the concept selected for analysis was Love. The concept of love is of great interest to nursing because loving care is considered vital to the nursing care of patients. The aims of the concept analysis of love were to clarify the meaning of love, to develop an operational definition for it and to contribute to existing nursing theory. Love influences the quality of life which is the goal of nursing according to Parse in her Human Becoming Theory. Lived experiences are the entities for study in Parse's Research Methodology. Human caring, human understanding, and human becoming are the most important issues in lived experiences. In this research, dictionaries and literature from nursing philosophy and other human disciplines were used to identify the concept of love. As many different instances of the concept as could be found were examinned. The model case was a real life example of the use of the concept. Next borderline, related, invented, and contrary cases were constructed for the purpose of providing examples of “not the concept” and for promoting further understanding of the concept being discussed. The defining attributes of the concept of love were concern, responsibility, respect, understanding and dedication. Love was defined as showing concern and understanding. relating with mutual respect and dedicating oneself responsibly to others. Concept analysis is a highly creative activity and may add significant new information to a given area of interest. It is a strategy for developing a concept based on observation or other forms of empirical evidence. The purpose of concept analysis is to generate new ideas. It provides a method of examining data for new insights that contribute to theoretical development. This concept analysis suggests that a nurse’s love for patients is shown in the process of giving oneself in mutual relationships of responsibility and respect and in continuously providing understanding and quality human care for them.
This study was intended to investigate wether a multiculturalism education program which is integrated with age the 5 Nuri curriculum has a significant influence on promoting children's multiculturalism acceptance. The effect of the integrated multiculturalism program was studied depending on married female immigrant assistant teacher and multicultural children within a group. Three experimental groups and one comparative group were formed from 80 children whose kindergarten centers are located in southern cities of Gyeong-gi province and the convenient sampling method was used. A measurement tool for multiculturalism acceptance was used in this study, and this measurement is an amended and supplemented version of criteria aimed at children (elementary school students) developed by Kim and Chung(2010). The measurement tool was modified to make it suitable for children and consists of 33 questionnaires. All the data collected for this study was analyzed by the SPSS 20 program, the average, standard deviation, frequency, percentage. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated and one-way ANOVA and ANCOVA were implemented. As for the result of the study regarding perception and relationship-building capability, the group which conducted an integrated multiculturalism education program and consisted of including a female married-immigrant assistant teacher and multicultural children (Experimental group1) showed a higher figure compared to the groups which conducted an integrated multiculturalism education program under the instruction of a female married-immigrant assistant teacher (Experimental group2), the group which conducted only the integrated multiculturalism education program (Experimental group3), and the last group which conducted only the age 5 Nuri curriculum (comparative group). As for sympathy and openness toward multiculturalism, the group which conducted integrated multiculturalism education program under the instruction of a female married-immigrant assistant teacher (Experimental group2) showed a higher figure compared to the groups which conducted an integrated multiculturalism education program including a female married-immigrant assistant teacher and multicultural children (Experimental group1), the group which conducted only an integrated multiculturalism education program (Experimental group3), and the last group which conducted only the age 5 Nuri curriculum (comparative group). As a result, the study showed that the instructor's multicultural guidance capability played a major role in the children's multiculturalism education program.

Recent Internet of Things (IoT, Internet of Things) that can be applied to various fields as the development of technology has been developed a lot of service and has been developed with the service also for crop management. To manage the essential elements of soil moisture in the crop growth but existing a direct person measuring the fluid point to carry the measuring instrument, if you take advantage of the WPAN (Wireless Personal Area Network) in this paper to manage sensor data, a fixed 3 points (30, 60, 90 cm) and can be managed can be scientifically analyzed the state of growth of the crop. Open field environment is utilized as it is less disturbance of the interference and the frequency of the radio frequency signal of the structure provides a relatively comfortable environment. Therefore, WPAN building and data transmission scheme of the minimum cost is to be developed. In addition, the operation to enter low power mode, the algorithm is necessary because a lot of restrictions on the power supply applied to the sensor nodes and the gateway is constructed in the open field. In the experiment, verifying the effectiveness by using a network configuration of each of the sensor nodes and the gateway, and provides a method for time synchronization of the operation and a low power mode. The study protocol for the RF communication with the LoRa and to enhance communication efficiency is needed in the future.
Decision trees are mainly used for the classification and prediction in data mining. The distribution of spatial data and relationships with their neighborhoods are very important when conducting classification for spatial data mining in the real world. Spatial decision trees in previous works have been designed for reflecting spatial data characteristic by rating Euclidean distance. But it only explains the distance of objects in spatial dimension so that it is hard to represent the distribution of spatial data and their relationships. This paper proposes a decision tree based on spatial entropy that represents the distribution of spatial data with the dispersion and dissimilarity. The dispersion presents the distribution of spatial objects within the belonged class. And dissimilarity indicates the distribution and its relationship with other classes. The rate of dispersion by dissimilarity presents that how related spatial distribution and classified data with non-spatial attributes we. Our experiment evaluates accuracy and building time of a decision tree as compared to previous methods. We achieve an improvement in performance by about 18%, 11%, respectively.
