In this paper, we propose a new scheduling algorithm that guarantees the delay property of real-time traffic, not considered in previous DWRR(Dynamic Weighted Round Robin) algorithm and also transmits non-real-time traffic efficiently. The proposed scheduling algorithm is a variation of DWRR algorithm to guarantee the delay property of real-time traffic by adding cell transmission method based on delay priority. It also uses the threshold to prevent the cell loss of non-real-time traffic due to cell transmission method based on delay priority. Proposed scheduling algorithm may increase some complexity over conventional DWRR scheme because of cell transmission method based on delay priority. However, the consideration of delay priority can minimize cell delay and require less size of temporary buffer. Also, the results of our performance study shows that the proposed scheduling algorithm has better performance than conventional DWRR scheme due to reliable ABR service and congestion avoidance capacity.

In this paper, we propose a smart HLS(HTTP Live Stream) platform with dynamic single buffering for the best transmission of adaptive video bit-rates. This smart HLS can optimizes the channel transition zapping-time with the monitoring of bandwidth between HLS server and OTT(Over The Top) client. This platform is designed through the control of video stream due to proper multi-bitrates and bandwidths. This proposed OTT can decode the live and VOD(Video On Demand) videos with the buffering of optimumal bitrate. And, the HLS can be cooperated with a smart OTT, and segmented for the m3u8 files of H.265 MPEG-2 TS(Transport Stream) videos. As a resullt, this single buffer based smart OTT can transmit optimal videos with the maximum data buffering according to the adaptive bit-rate depending on the network bandwidth efficiency and the decoded VOD video, too.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of green tea catechin on lipid metabolism in streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic rats. Male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 150$\pm$10gm were randomly assigned to one normal and three STZ-induced diabetic groups. Diabetic animals were fed catechin free diet(DM-0C group), 0.5% catechin diet(DM-0.5C group) and 1% catechin diet(DM-1C group). Diabetes was experimentally induced by intravenous injection of 55mg/kg body wt of STZ in citrate buffer(pH 4.3) after feeding of three experimental diets for 4 weeks. Animals were sacrificed at the 6th day of diabetic states. Levels of blood glucose were three fold higher in all three STZ-induced diabetic groups than that of the normal group. The levels of plasma insulin were markedly lower in three STZ-induced diabetic groups than that of the normal group. The levels of plasma cortisol were increased in DM-0C group compared with that of the normal group. Triglyceride, total-cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol levels in serum were increased in DM-0C groups compared with the normal group but were not significantly different between catechin diet groups and normal group. Serum HDL-cholesterol levels were reduced in DM-0C and DM-0.5C groups by 38% and 25%, respectively and had similar tendency in the DM-1C group compared with that of control group. Atherogenic index have shown same pattern as the result of total cholesterol. Activities of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl Co enzyme A(HMG-CoA) reductase were higher in DM-0C groups than those of the normal group but were not significantly different between catechin diet groups and the normal group. It is concluded that dietary catechins can modulate lipid levels of serum and liver HMG-CoA reductase activity in diabetic rats.

Recently domestic manufacturing companies have been experiencing worsening profitability and stunted growth due to the long-term economic recession and the rapid rise of developing countries such as China and Southeast Asia. These difficulties force many companies to concentrate their core competencies on new value creation and innovation in order to gain momentum for new growth. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) has been considered as one of viable solutions. Among the various modules in ERP, shop floor control function in the production management module is rather limited. In order to overcome this problem, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) has been used as a subsystem which has a strong information gathering power and flexibility. Both systems interact closely with each other. In particular, ERP requires fast, accurate shop floor information at MES. This paper describes how to synchronize relevant information between ERP and MES with theory of constraints (TOC). The processing time information transmitted from the MES workplace is received at the ERP workplace. In the process, the received processing time is causing information distortion in ERP, when the information gathering standard of MES is different from the ERP information interpretation standard. The Drum-Buffer-Rope theory of TOC was applied to resolve this problem, therefore, information synchronization between both systems was made. As a precondition, the standard time of the upper ERP system was rearranged according to the capacity constraints resource. As a result, standard time restructuring has affected changes in labor costs. Standard labor costs have come close to actual ones, and information synchronization of MES transmission data has improved the reliability of standard product costs, such that it enabled various company-wide restructuring actions to be much more effective.

$[^{13}N]$Ammonia or $[^{13}N]NH_3$ is one of the most widely used PET tracer for the measurement of MBF. To produce $[^{13}N]NH_3$, devarda's alloy which contains aluminum, copper and zinc is used for the purpose of reduction from $^{13}N$-nitrate/nitrite to $[^{13}N]NH_3$. Since aluminum has neurotoxicity and renal toxicity, the amount of it should be carefully limited for the administration to the human body. Although USP and EP provide a way to identify the aluminum ion concentration, there are some difficulties to perform. Therefore, we tried to develop the modified method for verifying aluminum concentration of test solution. We compared color between test and standard solutions using chrome azurol S in pH 4.6 acetate buffer. We also tested color change of test and standard solutions according to pH, amounts and the order of reagent and time difference These results demonstrated that the color change of the solution can reflect quantitatively measure aluminum ion concentration. We hope the method is to be used effectively and practically in many sites where $[^{13}N]NH_3$ is produced.
Objective: The purpose of this research was to examine the moderating effects of relationships on the association between temperament and peer play interaction. Methods: The participants were 606 four year olds who were recruited from day care centers and preschools located in Incheon and Gyeonggi province. Teacher-child relationship was measured with Student-Teacher Relationship Scale. Peer interactions were measured with Penn Interactive Peer Play Scale. Temperament was measured with Child Behavior Questionnaire (CBQ). The data was analysed using Pearson correlation and hierarchial regression. Results: Teacher-child intimacy moderated the associations between inhibitory control and play disruption as well as between emotionality and play disconnection. Moreover, Teacher-child conflict moderated the association between emotionality and play disconnection. Conclusion/Implications: The findings suggest that teacher-child relationships buffer risks conferred by temperament.

Objective: The use of tannin extract and other phytochemicals as dietary additives in ruminants is becoming more popular due to their wide biological actions such as in methane mitigation, bypass of dietary protein, intestinal nematode control, among other uses. Unfortunately, some have strong astringency, low stability and bioavailability, and negatively affecting dry matter intake and digestibility. To circumvent these drawbacks, an effective delivery system may offer a promising approach to administer these extracts to the site where they are required. The objectives of this study were to encapsulate acacia tannin extract (ATE) with native starch and maltodextrin-gum arabic and to test the effect of encapsulation parameters on encapsulation efficiency, yield and morphology of the microparticles obtained as well as the effect on rumen in vitro gas production. Methods: The ATE was encapsulated with the wall materials, and the morphological features of freeze-dried microparticles were evaluated by scanning electron microscopy. The in vitro release pattern of microparticles in acetate buffer, simulating the rumen, and its effect on in vitro gas production was evaluated. Results: The morphological features revealed that maltodextrin/gum-arabic microparticles were irregular shaped, glossy and smaller, compared with those encapsulated with native starch, which were bigger, and more homogenous. Maltodextrin-gum arabic could be used up to 30% loading concentration compared with starch, which could not hold the core material beyond 15% loading capacity. Encapsulation efficiency ranged from $27.7%{\pm}6.4%$ to $48.8%{\pm}5.5%$ in starch and $56.1%{\pm}4.9%$ to $64.8%{\pm}2.8%$ in maltodextrin-gum arabic microparticles. Only a slight reduction in methane emission was recorded in encapsulated microparticles when compared with the samples containing only wall materials. Conclusion: Both encapsulated products exhibited the burst release pattern under the pH conditions and methane reduction associated with tannin was marginal. This is attributable to small loading percentages and therefore, other wall materials or encapsulation methods should be investigated.
As Head-Mounted Displays(HMDs), which are mainly used to maximize realism in games and videos, have experienced increased demand and expanded scope of use in education and training, there is growing interest in methods to enhance the performance of conventional HMDs. In this study, a methodology to utilize Carbon NanoTubes(CNTs) to improve the performance of gate drivers that send control signals to each pixel circuit of the HMD is discussed. This paper proposes a new circuit design method that replaces the transistors constituting the buffer part of the conventional gate driver with transistors incorporating CNTs and compare the performance of the suggested gate drive with that of a gate driver comprising only conventional transistors via simulations. According to the simulation results, by including CNTs in the gate driver, the output voltage can be increased by approximately 0.3V compared to the conventional gate driver high voltage(1.1V) at a speed of 12.5 GHz and the gate width also can be reduced by up to 20 times.
Background: Estrogen deficiency affects the structure and function of the salivary glands in women, leading to a decrease in salivary secretion and a change in the composition of saliva. Previous studies on changes in the salivary glands that cause estrogen deficiency have reported only partial results for the parotid and submandibular glands, and there are few comparative morphological studies of histological changes between the parotid and submandibular glands in ovariectomized rats (OVX) leading to estrogen deficiency. This study aimed to analyze the histopathological and histochemical changes in the parotid and submandibular salivary glands causing estrogen deficiency by using OVX, and to discuss the mechanism on these changes. Methods: The parotid and submandibular glands from sacrificed control and OVX groups were fixed with cold 4% paraformaldehyde in phosphate buffer (pH 7.2). The tissues were dehydrated using a series of graded ethyl alcohol and embedded in paraffin. For histopathological analysis, sections cut to a thickness of 6 to 7 ㎛ were stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E). For histochemical analysis, Periodic acid-Schiff (PAS), Alcian blue (AB, pH 2.5), and PAS+AB (pH 2.5 and pH 1) staining was performed. Results: Histopathological analysis of OVX tissue showed that the parotid and submandibular salivary glands were broadly and clearly separated and divided into lobes. In OVX, acinar and ductal cells with condensed polymorphic or pyknotic nucleus, which are presumed to be characteristic of apoptotic cells, and degenerated cells with lipid deposition in cytoplasmic granules and ruptured membranes were increased. Histochemical analysis of OVX, confirmed an increase in the number and acidification of acinar secretory granules. Conclusion: Histopathological and histochemical changes and the effects of estrogen deficiency are more evident in the submandibular salivary gland than in the parotid gland.
In this study, an eco-friendly indigo reduction system(scale up reduction, use of buffer solution, and pH control) using baker's yeast(Saccharomyces cerevisiae) was applied for natural indigo(Polygonum tinctorium) dyeing of Hanji fabric and Hanji-mixture fabric(Hanji/Cotton, Hanji/Silk). The effect of concentration of baker's yeast, repeat dyeing, and bath reuse was investigated in terms of dye uptake indicating reduction power. And the oxidation-reduction potential(ORP) was monitored. We also evaluated color properties and colorfastness according to the color strength. The yeast concentration did not significantly affect the maximum reduction power. However, the highest yeast concentration was effective in improving the initial dye uptake, and its the reduction retention power was the most excellent. Even on the last reduction day, the effect of increasing the dye uptake by repeat dyeing was observed. And it was confirmed that the reduction bath could be reused for up to 30 days by supplementing yeast at the end of reduction. For all the fabrics used, deeper and darker PB color were obtained by repeat dyeing. As dyeing was repeated, purplish tint got stronger on the Hanji/Silk fabric compared to other fabrics. Regardless of the composition of Hanji fabrics and color strength, washing and dry cleaning fastness were relatively good with above rating 4-5, and fastness to rubbing and light were acceptable with a rating 3-4 ~ 4-5. The eco-friendly natural indigo dyeing process using niram and baker's yeast would offer global marketability and diversity of Hanji product as a sustainable high value-added material.
