It is expected that an intelligent broadcasting service (IBS) will be able to provide broadcast programs based on user preference and program-associated information (metadata) in order to assist users in easy navigation of the program content being broadcast. In this way, users will be able to access program content anytime, anywhere, and in the manner they wish. This type of IBS will be a basis for future broadcasting services such as customized broadcasting or personal casting. In this paper, we introduce an agent-based multimedia broadcasting framework using the Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents (FIPA) and MPEG-7 technologies within MPEG-21. We use a FIPA implementation called FIPA open source as a platform for exchanging user preferences and program information as FIPA messages between a server and its clients. The user preference is modeled as the User Preference description scheme in MPEG-7 multimedia description schemes. We discuss a framework structure and implementation for the IBS.

VJ 제작 방송프로그램의 편성이 늘고 있는 시점에서 각 방송사의 프로그램 평가가 객관적 결과를 도출할 수 있느냐에 의문을 갖고, 제작시스템의 변화를 고려한 새로운 맞춤형 프로그램 평가방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 품질평가의 항목들은 VJ 방송프로그램의 제작완성도 평가차원의 새로운 모델을 제시하며, 현재의각 방송사의 프로그램 평가방법을 개선하는 데 활용될 수 있다. VJ 방송프로그램의 문제점을 파악해낼 수 있는 항목의 도출을 위해 1차 실험으로 방송현장의 PD, VJ, 학계 교수 등 각 10명씩 총 30명으로 전문가그룹을 선정하여, VJ 방송프로그램의 평가항목을 선정하기 위한 실험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 평가항목 중요도 분석결과를 근거로 총 9항목으로 VJ 프로그램 품질평가 항목을 설계하였다. 또한, 제안한 평가척도를 검증하기 위한 2차 실험을 실시하였다. 실험결과, 제안한 품질평가방법의 신뢰도가 .939로 나타나 의미를 부여할 수 있으며, 품질평가 항목의 선정에 있어서 VJ 방송프로그램만을 고려하여 평가한 새로운 품질평가척도로서 유의미한 결과를 갖는다.

The incidents of garbage dumplings in 2004 and the report on giant castella are the examples that shows how big the influence of broadcasting on the industry is. There were discussions on the importance of securing the objectivity of broadcasting, however, the existing related researches have lacked the analysis of actual proof for the influence of broadcasting contents, and as that of the law and system was confined to theoretical arguments, there were not enough suggestions for realistic alternatives. In this paper, we will examine the influence of broadcasting contents on the food industry through an analysis of actual proof, and propose alternatives in terms of the law and policy for securing the objectivity and fairness of broadcasting, to solve this problem.

영상압축 기술의 발달로 인해 아날로그 영상은 디지털 신호로 표현 및 저장이 가능해졌고 MPEG-2 표준화 과정을 통해 디지털 영상 전송을 위한 표준이 제정되어 디지털 방송의 가능성이 제시되었다. 디지털 방송을 통한 경제적 파급 효과가 부각되면서 가치사슬의 기대효과로 인해 아날로그 방송 서비스를 제공하던 기존의 방송사업자들은 디지털 방송으로 서비스를 전환해 가고 있다. 그러나 종합유선방송사업자(SO : System Operator)들은 고화질의 디지털영상인 Full HD(High Definition)급 방송 프로그램의 확보에 어려움이 있어 디지털 방송 서비스에 난항을 겪고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 주요 방송사에서 송출하고 있는 HD급 공중파 디지털 방송을 수신하여 PSIP(Program and System Information Protocol) 정보 분석을 통해 각각의 채널에 따른 디지털 방송 프로그램을 확보하고 이를 재편성하여 케이블 방송 가입자들에게 재전송할 수 있는 디지털 방송 송출 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

The purpose of this study is to provide an effective program contents of information supplied by broadcasting media with the aim of developing health program models. Health programs which have been aired and are being aired on KBS I radio, KBS, EBS, Cable TV and SBS radio were analyzed in order to understand the issues of current health programs and to design a plan for improvement. In order to address current issues of health programs, the range of health information should be extended to meet various expectations from the public audience, in addition to dealing with diagnosis and treatment of illnesses. Programs should be capable of encompassing various issues such as health practice, prevention, information on medical facilities, public health policies, daily health information, and the role of patients. As health programs function as major information sources for health services, it is necessary to raise the quality and credibility of broadcasting. Broadcasting agencies has a responsible role for public health promotion through health programs. In order to make it possible for broadcasting to fulfill its social responsibility, it is advisable to develop programs that have a clear understanding of what is the cognition of the public and the level of demand in regard to health programs.

방송 서비스 고도화를 위한 활성화 방안 연구의 주요사항과 필요성은 3분야의 카타코리를 통해 고찰되었으며 이러한 방안의 대안으로서 단순결합을 벋어난 융합의 서비스가 확립되고 있는 현실에서 방송환경 서비스 고도화의 작업으로 개념적 3단계 제안과 아울러 수요자 고도화 등의 구체적인 제안으로, 박물관 체험과 유적지 답사 등의 실시간 서비스, 기술 개발 모델 TV 수신기 및 정보 모니터를 생산, 개별적 자아개발 퍼스널 방송 통신 융합 프로그램 개발 등과 같은 내용 제안이 이루어졌다. 연구 방식은 방송 서비스 고도화 지원 사업의 전반적 내용의 연구를 통해 그 특성과 방향을 진단하고 활성화 방안을 위한 서비스 환경 개선을 위해 제안이 이루어졌으며 방송시스템 고도화를 위한 기술적 program적인 부분에서의 대 내외 서비스 고도를 위한 기대효과도 예측해 보았다. 단계별 주요단계수립 제안을 통해 수요자 및 방송 환경의 고도화의 중장기적 계획 진행이 이루어져야 한다는 내용이 결론으로 제안 되었고, 이것은 향후에도 더욱 구체적 단계의 계획 설계가 심도 있게 연구가 진행될 분야로서 남아있다.

방송 기술의 발전은 기존의 아날로그 방송을 디지털 방송으로 전환시켰고, 그 결과 다수의 프로그램을 다중화(Multiplexing)하여 하나의 스트림(Stream) 으로 송출하는 것이 가능해짐에 따라 아날로그 방식으로 방송할 때보다 채널 수가 많이 늘어나게 되었다. 다채널 시청 환경에서 시청자가 원하는 프로그램을 찾을 수 있게 도와주는 역할을 하는 것이 EPG(Electronic Program Guide)이다. 기존의 지상파 위주의 방송에서 케이블 TV, 위성 방송, IP TV 서비스까지 지원되는 다매체 환경으로 방송기술의 발전이 급속히 변화하고 있는 상황에서는 제목, 장르, 날짜, WishList로 프로그램을 검색하는 기능을 갖는 기존의 EPG 시스템으로는 사용자에게 불편함을 제공한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 PSIP (Program and System Information Protocol)의 정보 변경을 활용하여 프로그램의 선호도에 따라 원의 크기가 다르게 표현되고, 프로그램 상영 시간이 임박해짐에 따라 표시된 화면이 진동되는 등의 직관적인 판단이 가능한 새로운 형태의 사용자 맞춤형 EPG 시스템을 구현하였다.

The recent broadcasting environment has shifted to embrace multimedia and multi-channel features through terrestrial, satellite and cable media. This has multiplied the number of broadcasting programs. With the information on a myriad of programs provided to TV viewers, information overload occurs, and thus, the TV viewing environment is shifting to one where viewers cannot select programs passively. Thus, a growing need is emerging to ensure a personalized electronic program guide (EPG) to help individuals select TV programs according to their taste. This paper presents a personalized EPG that enables a purpose-oriented broadcasting service to provide personalized broadcasting programs in tune with the user's requirements and preferences.

Water consumption has grown at more than 2.5 times, comparing the past century. About 2.8 billion people live in river basins with some form of water deficit, because more than 75 % of the river flows are withdrawn for agriculture and other needs. Challenges faced by more and more countries in their struggle for economic and social development are increasingly related to water. This paper proposes a test of an effective local river field environment management solution. And describing a part of a pilot project for the ministry of water resources of Uzbekistan. Current work focused on direct action items of the existing project and describe an IoT routing based solution for local river field environment management solutions. Suggested technological decisions provided by needs and on-site testing results. The paper describes the backbone of IoT routing based river water resources management system.

연구는 한국 예능 프로그램의 포맷 수입이 중국 방송 산업에 미친 영향에 대해서 분석하였다. 이를 위해 중국 방송사 제작진과의 심층인터뷰를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과 한국 예능 프로그램 포맷을 수입하면서부터 중국 예능 프로그램의 포맷과 제작방식에 변화가 일어나기 시작한 것으로 나타났다.
