  • Wire wireless integrated service of BcN(Broadband convergence Network) is expanding. Information Security issue is highlighted for opposing attack of getting information illegally on wire wireless network. The user of PKI(Public Key Infrastructure) cipher system among Information security technology receives various security services about authentication, confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation and access control etc. A mobile client and server are loaded certificate and wireless internet cryptography module for trusted data send receive. And data sends receives to each other after certification process through validity check of certificate. Certificate and data security system is researched through PKI on wireless network environment and data security system in this paper.

  • We focus on the RP (Rendezvous Point) system model in the multicast network based on BcN (Broadband Convergence Network) integrating broadcasting, telecommunication and Internet with one. Based on the condition multiple queues with different service and single server, when the arrivals tome in group with the site of the group geometrically distributed, we define the relationship between incoming arrival rate and corresponding buffer size. We also investigate the Profit according to both Service Provider and Network Operator Then we make a decision whether a new service request is accepted or not based on given interning rate range.

  • IP over Ethernet technology widely used as Internet access uses the ARP(Address Resolution Protocol) that translates an ip address to the corresponding MAC address. recently, there are ARP security attacks that intentionally modify the IP address and its corresponding MAC address, utilizing various tools like "snoopspy". Since ARP attacks can redirect packets to different MAC address other than destination, attackers can eavesdrop packets, change their contents, or hijack the connection. Because the ARP attack is performed at data link layer, it can not be protected by security mechanisms such as Secure Shell(SSH) or Secure Sockets Layer(SSL). Thus, in this paper, we classify the ARP attack into downstream ARP spoofing attack and upstream ARP redirection attack, and propose a new security mechanism using DHCP information for acquisition of IP address. We propose a "DHCP snoop mechanism" or "DHCP sniffing/inspection mechanism" for ARP spoofing attack, and a "static binding mechanism" for ARP redirection attack. The proposed security mechanisms for ARP attacks can be widely used to reinforce the security of the next generation internet access networks including BcN.

  • WSN(Wireless Sensor Network) performs to detect and collect environmental information for one purpose. The WSN is composed of a sink node and several sensor nodes and has a constraint in an aspect of energy consumption caused by limited battery resource. So many required mechanisms in WSN should consider the remaining energy condition. To deploy WSN, tile collected information is required to protect from an adversary over the network in many cases. The security mechanism should be provided for collecting the information over the network. we propose asynchronized key management considering energy efficiency over WSN. The proposed key management is focused on independence and difference of the keys used to deliver the information over several routes over the network, so disclosure of any key does not results in exposure of total key information over the overall WSN. Also, we use hash function to update key information for energy efficiency Periodically. We define the insecurity for requested security Properties and Proof that the security properties are guaranteed. Also, we evaluate and analyze the energy efficiency for the proposed mechanism.

A scene search method based on principal character identification using convolutional neural network (컨볼루셔널 뉴럴 네트워크를 이용한 주인공 식별 기반의 영상장면 탐색 기법)

  • In this paper, we try to search and reproduce the image part of a specific cast from a large number of images. The conventional method must manually set the offset value when searching for a scene or viewing a corner. However, in this paper, the proposed method learns the main character 's face, then finds the main character in the image recognition and moves to the scene where the main character appears to reproduce the image. Data for specific performers is extracted and collected using crawl techniques. Based on the collected data, we learn using convolutional neural network algorithm and perform performance evaluation using it. The performance evaluation measures the accuracy by extracting and judging a specific performer learned in the extracted key frame while playing the drama. The performance confirmation of how quickly and accurately the learned scene is searched has obtained about 93% accuracy. Based on the derived performance, it is applied to the image service such as viewing, searching for person and detailed information retrieval per corner

  • In this paper, Adjacent Channel Power Ratio (ACPR) of wireless Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexed (OFDM) system interconnected with Radio over Fiber (RoF) link is analyzed for broadband convergence network applications. Unlike previous results, ACPR of the total link, which is involved with Radio Frequency (RF) amplifier as well as ROF link, at 5.8 GHz in IEEE 802.11a environment is simulated and compared at both system ends.

  • 현재 통신 시장은 보다 편리하고 다양한 서비스를 찾는 소비자의 욕구와 맞물려 TPS(Triple Play Service) 방향으로 급속히 나아가고 있다. 인터넷 전화의 보급은 이미 보편적 서비스가 된 초고속인터넷 서비스와 연계하여 빠르게 확산되고 있으며, 2007년 들어 방송서비스까지 결합한 TPS에 대한 통신사업자간 경쟁이 본격화되고 있는 추세이다. 트리플 플레이 서비스(Triple Play Service;이하 TPS)는 초고속 인터넷과 인터넷 전화와 방송 서비스를 하나의 회선으로 제공하는 종합 인터넷 서비스로, 광대역 통합망(BcN; Broadband Convergence Network)의 핵심 서비스이다. 액세스 스위치(Access Switch) 단은 TPS로 인해 더욱 많은 역할을 담당할 것으로 전망되는데, 디지털 방송을 인터넷 프로토콜을 통해 전송하기 위한 멀티캐스트 기능과 혼재된 이종간의 디지털 신호를 각 서비스의 품질에 맞게 보장해 주는 QoS(Quality of Service) 기능이 무엇보다 중요하게 고려 되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 TPS의 핵심일 수 있는 방송 서비스를 위해 액세스 스위치 단에서 제공해야 할 멀티캐스트와 QoS 기능 구현 방안에 대해 제시한다

Efficient and Secure Authenticated Key Exchange

  • The Key exchange protocols are very crucial tools to provide the secure communication in the broadband satellite access network. They should be required to satisfy various requirements such as security, Key confirmation, and Key freshness. In this paper, Two authenticated key exchange protocols TPEKE-E(Two Pass Encrypted Key Exchange-Exchange-Efficient) and TPEKE-S(Two Pass Encrypted Key xchange-Secure) are introduced. A basic idea of the protocols is that a password can be represented by modular addition N, and the number of possible modular addition N representing the password is $2^N$. The TPEKE-E is secure against the attacks including main-in-the-middle attack and off-line dictionary attack, and the performance is excellent so as beyond to comparison with other authenticated key exchange protocols. The TPEKE-S is a slight modification of the TPEKE-E. The TPEKE-S provides computational in feasibility for learning the password without having performed off line dictionary attack while preserving the performance of the TPEKE-E.

광대역 통합망(BcN) 시범 서비스 추진동향

  • 광대역 통합망은 유무선 통합, 통신과 방송 응합, 음성 및 데이터의 통합을 위해 필요한 네트워크를 서비스 계층, 제어 계층, 전달망 계층, 접속 계층, 유비쿼터스 접속 및 가입자 단말 계층으로 구분한다. BcN은 사용자가 원하는 품질과 보안의 정도에 따라 차별화된 광대역 멀티미디어 서비스 제공 및 관리가 가능한 네트워크이다. 본고는 현재 진행 중인 BcN 시범 사업에 대하여 기술한다. 우선, 통합 서비스를 제공하기 위한 기본 인프라인 광대역 통합망(BcN, Broadband convergence Network)의 개념, 서비스 특징 및 발전방향 등을 간략히 나타낸다. 그리고 정부의 IT839 전략의 중점 추진과제로 진행 중인 1단계 BcN 시범 사업의 내용과 시범 사업자로 선정된 3개 컨소시엄의 서비스 내용 등을 제시한다. 현재 BcN 시범 사업자로 UbiNet 컨소시엄, Octave 컨소시엄 및 광개토 컨소시엄이 선정된 상태이다. 각 컨소시엄에서는 BcN 환경에 적합한 다양한 서비스 모델 발굴 및 기술개발을 위해 BcN 시범 서비스를 진행할 예정이며, 제공 예정인 BcN 시범 서비스에는 음성 데이터 통합 서비스, 유무선 통합 서비스, 통방 융합 서비스 및 기타 응용 서비스 등이 있다.
