The purpose of this study is to examine effects of sustainability of convention events on brand equity and customer loyalty. This paper also explores the mediating role of brand equity amid sustainability of convention events and customer loyalty. The four determinants ofsustainability of convention events examined in this study are economic sustainability, environmental sustainability, social sustainability and event sustainability. Brand equity refers to performance, social image, value, trust worthiness, and attachment. The findings are as follows: (1)most sustainability of convention events have a positive effect on each brand equity's elements; (2)all sustainability of convention events have a positive effect on loyalty; (3)brand equity of convention is significantly related to customer loyalty. (4)brand equity plays a mediating role between sustainability of convention and customer loyalty. The findings will not only be useful in improving the structure of sustainability of convention events, but also in enhancing competitiveness in Korea's convention industry.
With a growing concern about climate change and green house gases mitigation, carbon labeling policy has been launched in several countries as an environmental policy which connects low carbon production to low carbon consumption. This research aims to propose a model that explains consumers' attitude and brand loyalty toward carbon labeling products. This model specifies the consumer's psychological processes by which consumer values, such as autonomy and environmental values, affect carbon labeling product and corporate images and finally form brand loyalty toward carbon labeling products. Panel data were collected in two separate surveys and analyzed using a structural equation technique. Results are summarized as follows. First, consumers' autonomy value(AV) positively affects locus of control(LC) and corporate image(CI). Second, consumers' environmental value(EV) positively influences perceived consumer effectiveness(PCE), which in turn has a negative effect on perceived barriers(PB). Perceived barriers finally affect product image(PI) negatively. Third, both corporate image and product image have causal relationships with brand loyalty. Our results suggest that carbon labeling policy contributes not only to the reduction of greenhouse gases but also to the increase of consumers' attitude and brand loyalty toward carbon labeling products. This research also provides governments with directions for efficient environmental policy and firms with guidance on effective marketing strategies about carbon labeling.

The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of Union-Pay mobile payments on user viscosity from the perspective of service quality and brand personality. In the future, it is meaningful for CUP to obtain a stable and loyal user group in China's mobile payment market. This study uses SPSS22.0 and AMOS statistical analysis tools to conduct empirical research. In this case, this study uses mobile service quality and The brand personality is the independent variable, and the user's viscosity is the dependent variable, which studies the impact on the user's viscosity in the context of China Union-Pay mobile payment. the study. According to the analysis results, the research goal: service quality has a significant positive correlation effect on user perceived value; service quality has a significant positive correlation effect on user viscosity; perceived value has significant positive correlation effect on user viscosity; brand personality to user Viscosity has a significant positive correlation effect; brand personality has a significant positive correlation effect on user perceived value. Through this research, we can make Suggestions on the industrial development of mobile payment enterprises and provide better opinions on the development of mobile payment.
The animation should be produced to attract the audience's interests. Its characters will have the intended personalities through the interactions with the audiences, discarding the attributes of the nature. These personalities form the brand identity when they are exposed visually and will be powerful brand assets which lead the animation industry to the high-value added products. The brand identity of the character, the brand assets, can be used for various products in form of licensing and is noted to make an affirmative leverage effect. In this regard, the author has conducted an empirical research on the animation characters from the viewpoint of the brand, adopting, in particular, the Brand Personality Scale (BPS), which is the output of J. Aaker's (1997) study on brand personality defined as the human properties in relation with the brand. In addition, this study determines the correlation among the animation, brand and consumers based on the Sirgy's study (1982) resulting in that the better the brand and the consumer's personality are matched, the more the brand attitude is improved. In consequence, it is found that the animation characters have three personality levels such as refinement/ability, integrity and interests. The consumer's personality is divided into the 'practical ego-image' and the 'ideal ego-image' in the survey, and the survey result shows that the brand personality of the animation character exists between them.
As current business environment is experiencing radical changes, interest in brands has increased theoretically and practically. The growing interest in brands creates the need for brand equity measurement and management models that help companies manage and fortify brands continuously. Given the situation, this study analyzes effects of brand equity on purchasing behavior of consumers. Outcomes of this study can be employed as integrated brand management system in order to satisfy corporate needs for systematic brand management. This model has been developed in an effort to transcend varied limitations of other previous studies and existing models. Consequently, the practical value of this model is highly expected. Beyond the mere concept of brand for establishing differentiated position against competitors, contents of the study cover extended forms of brand equity and brand performance. This model has been tested through practical applications of fifteen brands from three product categories. Despite several disparities among the categories, the study has revealed that the overall market performance of the brands is correlated with the brand power and other factors in the model. As the importance of brands is growing, brand management is an essential step for power branding. And brand management requires extensive brand diagnosis. The practical results of this study indicate that companies should put an emphasis on brand-oriented management as core strategy of their business.
The brand-based online community recently plays an important roles for consumers to facilitates searching and sharing information among them. Firms often find such a brand community as a critical channel to gain collective intelligence for developing new ideas and products. As a new web platform such as web 2.0 has been introduced, consumers could more easily participate in the new social networks created by sharing mutual value and belief among themselves. Accordingly firms began to recognize potentials of online brand assets and pay attention to the importance of online brand community loyalty. Previous research related to online community tends to focus on identifying the antecedents of community loyalty and their subsequent impacts on brand. They, however, tend to neglect the importance of individual characteristics of online community users. As integrating the fragmented variables with an individual characteristics, therefore, this study reexamined the impacts of interactivity, information, reward, and personalization services provided by an online brand community on the sense of community, community loyalty, and brand attitude. Also, this study investigated how users' individual characteristics(need for cognition: NFC) can play moderating roles among the variables identified in the previous research. A field survey was administrated and 671 valid samples were collected. In order to test the hypothesis we conducted the multi-sample structural equation modeling(MSEM) between two groups(a group with high vs. a group with low level of NFC). Results show that previously identified variables such as interactivity, information, reward, and personalization services have significant effects on the sense of community as previous research demonstrated. Subsequently, the sense of community positively influences the community loyalty and brand attitude. However, when considering the NFC as a moderating variable, we found that the effect of interactivity and reward service on the sense of community was stronger for a group with a lower level of NFC compared to a group with a higher level, while the effect of information providing service on the sense of community was stronger for a group with a higher level of NFC compared to a group with a lower level. This research revealed that NFC can affect the degree of individual perception on the sense of community which has been considered as an important indicator for the community loyalty and brand attitude. Hence, when firms developing customer relation strategy through building an online brand community, they need to reflect customers' NFC and accordingly provide varying degree of interactivity, information, reward, and personalization services.
This study is on the strategy for establishing successful corporate brand image, by understanding the need for increasing brand value based on the level of brand recognition. In order to carry this out, the PICS (Product Image Concentration System) is suggested, which includes Brand Image Analysis on a high-level, Product Image Programming based on the result of the image analysis, and Product Image Coherency Assessment and Management, resulting in setting up a guideline for gaining competitive advantage and brand management. Brand Image Analysis is a method that utilizes image association to understand brand disposition by analyzing the association pattern among available visual materials to measure the corporate and brand image inclinations. As the next step, Product Image Programming establishes design philosophy and principles based on the analysis of brand image, and the Visual Programming is a process for visualizing the intended product image direction. Lastly, Product Image Coherency Assessment examines whether to incorporate design philosophy and principles or not to arrive at an agreed evaluation criteria for developing designs coherent with the brand image. The PICS (Product Image Concentration System) is a practical method for increasing a company' competitive advantage and managing brand. The expectation on this system is to provide a guideline for applying brand image in design process more objectively. For further study, diversification of image spectrum based on expressive keywords and comparative analysis on images as well as a product image interpretation program to understand the order of visual materials will be necessary.
Purpose - Nowadays the competition between companies has been intensified in the aviation industry. It is hard to maintain successful market share in challenging managerial environment. Not long ago, a Korean major aviation company had faced social condemnation cause of managerial staff's immoral behaviors. That company suffers great losses in company brand value in terms of authenticity as an aviation company. This research tried to show the effect of brand authenticity in the aviation industry. First of all, this research tried to define the dimensions of the brand authenticities based on the former researches. This research suggested the airline brand authenticities as three kinds of dimensions. The dimensions of authenticities consist of performance aspects, symbolic aspects and moral aspects. And this research also tried to show the relationships between brand authenticities and consumers attitudes. Research design, data and methodology - The empirical research design is based on the experiments with six types of advertisement prototypes. The advertisement prototypes were based on three types of authenticities' characteristics. The prototypes were made of core statements about each authenticity. And the advertisement prototypes also were based on the aviation company types. The types of aviation companies could be divided into FSC(full service carrier)and LCC(low cost carrier). So the whole experiments were performed with six kinds of advertisement prototypes(3 brand authenticities X 2 aviation company types). The age of participants were from 20s to 40s. The proportion of participants' demographics are as follow. Age proportion is 50% of 20s and 50% of 30s and 40s. Gender proportion is 46% males and 54% females. The experiments performed through mobile devices. Advertisement prototypes were exposed to the participants through their mobile devices, and they answered the questionnaires. All the process of experiments were performed by a professional research firm to maintain the quality of data. Results - This research suggested some important outcomes as follow. First, brand authenticity had an important role to make a positive consumer attitude on the aviation company. All the three types advertisement of authenticities had a positive impact on the consumer attitude for the aviation company. Second, the three types of brand authenticities in the performance aspects, symbolic aspects, and moral aspects had a major impact on the consumers attitudes. The performance authenticity had the biggest effect on the consumer attitudes. Third, the types of aviation companies like FSC and LCC had a different correlation with types of authenticities. All the types of authenticities affected on the consumers attitudes in the FSC case. The symbolic authenticity had the biggest effect in the FSC case. But the performance authenticity showed the most striking effect in the LCC case. Conclusion - From this research, we can get a conclusion. The brand authenticity of aviation company should be managed carefully to maintain a positive brand image and consumers attitudes. And airline brand authenticities can be consist of three type dimensions. All the types of authenticities affects on the consumers attitudes positively. The symbolic authenticity affects more in the FSC case, and the performance authenticity influences more in the LCC case.

Many companies are increasing the use of characters to enhance brand image and brand value. The use of characters in the certain industry is active, however, the research on characters in academia is insufficient. The purpose of this study is to investigate how characteristics of characters affect on consumer's brand attitude and to suggest the guideline companies to concern on brand characters, in especial on designing or licensing them. The results showed that all characteristics of character positively influenced on brand attitude. Among nine characteristics of the character, trust was the most impact and nostalgia was the least impact on brand attitude, respectively. Perceived quality was mediated on in relations between the brand character and brand attitude. In indirect effect, familiarity was the most impact on brand attitude. In sum, we suggested that trust and familiarity of the character are the most weighted characteristics on brand character design strategy.

As the interest on popular culture has began to be expanded to a general living culture through 'Korean Wave(韓流)' and is in profess of the 'strategy to support Korean(韓) brand' to enhance our cultural standard and create a worldwide brand value in traditional culture. The purpose of this thesis is to make suggestion for production of an effective and differentiated advertisement photo in Korean(韓) brand fashion product on the basis of a Korean image. First, the Korean image is like the unique culture or history in Korea which enables us to feel our identity such as Korean clothes, houses, Hangul. Especially it was found out that the characteristic of a traditional costume in our country included a natural beauty, neatness, purity and calmness, etc and positive intention was expressed on a production of a fashion, photo, graphic of a Korean image.
