This paper considers the sequencing problem in mixed model assembly lines with hybrid workstation types and sequence-dependent setup times. Computation time is often a critical factor in choosing a method of determining the sequence. We develop a mathematical formulation of the problem to minimize the overall length of a line, and present a tabu search technique which can provide a near optimal solution in real time. The proposed technique is compared with a genetic algorithm and a branch-and-bound method. Experimental results are reported to demonstrate the efficiency of the technique.

In this paper, a mixed-integer programming approach is presented for adjusting the voltage profiles in a power system. The advent of large-scaled system makes the reactive power and voltage problem-an attempt to achieve an overall improvement of system security, service quality and economy-more complex and seriously, Although the problem is originally a nonlinear optimization problem, it can be formulated as a mixed integer linear programming(MILP) problem without deteriorating of solution accuracy to a certain extent. The MILP code is developed by the branch and bound process search for the optimal solution. The variable for modeling transformer tap positions is handled as discrete one, and other variables continuous ones. Numerical data resulting from case study using a modified IEEE 30 bus system with outaged line show that the MILP can produce more reductions of magnitude in the operating cost. The convergence characteristics of the results are also presented and discussed.

본 논문에서는 CRLH 전송 선로를 이용한 스터브 구조의 이중 대역 가지선로 결합기를 제안한다. 기존의 스터브 구조의 이중 대역 가지 선로 결합기는 동작하는 두 주파수가 근접할수록 스터브 선로의 임피던스가 증가해 구현이 불가능 하다. 제안된 이중 대역 가지선로 결합기는 비교적 근접한 1800MHz와 2300MHz 두 주파수에서 동작한다. 고 임피던스 스터브 선로는 이중 대역 소자 설계에 유용한 CRLH 전송 선로를 사용하여 구현 된다. 두 주파수에서 측정된 삽입 손실은 이상적인 결합기에 비해 최대 1.88dB의 오차가 났으며 두 출력 포트 사이의 위상차는 $1^{\circ}$미만 이다. 동작하는 두 주파수의 비는 1.28:1로 비교적 작은 차이를 보인다.

본 논문에서는 공통 결함접지구조를 이용하여 브랜치 라인 하이브리드 커플러 회로를 소형화하여 설계한 결과를 제시한다. 브랜치 라인 하이브리드 커플러 회로는 가장 널리 쓰이는 전자파회로중 하나이다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 공통 결함접지구조를 이용하여 소형화한 커플러 회로는 크기가 소형화되었음에도 불구하고, 기존 커플러 구조와 유사한 정합, 격리 및 전력분배 특성을 보여준다.

In this paper, We report the miniaturization of superconducting microwave power dividers based on lumped element equivalent circuits. To do this, we analyzed a conventional branch-type power divider by using an ABCD matrix under even and odd mode excitation. Then, we calculated each lumped element impedance throughout this analysis of a transmission line matrix. Also we simulated our equivalent circuits made of lumped elements by using a full wave analysis, em Sonnet. Our deign of microwave power divider based on simulated results was fabricated on high-$T_c$ superconducting thin films deposited on MgO substrate. Experimental results were reported in terms of bandwidth, center frequency, and phase difference between $S_{21}$ and $S_{31}$. We confirm that our design will be useful in the future microwave power systum.

Skipjack, Katsuowonus vagans, yellow tail Seriola quinqueradiata and Scomberomorus sinensis are largely caught by trolling gear in the coastal waters of Jeju Island. The author determined the hydrodynamic resistance of the trolling gears uscd in the waters, estimated the pulling force of the fish species above mentioned by use of body weight, and then calculated the minimum diameter of the lines of trolling gears. The results obtained are as follows: 1. The hydrodynamic resistance of the trolling gears present linear relationship in accordance with the towing speed of the gears. 2. The diameter of seizing leader, leader gut and branch line used in the waters might be durable to catch skipjack and yellow tail, whereas the diameter of those must be weak in intensity for Scomberomorus zinensis.

This paper deals with the problem of determining the capacity expansion timing and sizes of conduits and feeder cables for a given cable network configuration of a single exchange ares, which minimizes the present worth of total costs. The planning horizon is infinite and the demand of line pairs at each cabinet is assumed to be determininstically growing. As a solution method, the heuristic branch-and-bound algorithm of Freidenfelds and Mclaughlin is elaborated by adding details and some minor modifications, which generates a good near-optimal solution with far less computation than would otherwise be possible. We also develop a computer program, which is shown to be effective and efficient through the test run of an illustrative example.

본 논문에서는 통신위성시스템 탑재를 위한 Ku-Band 선형화 채널증폭기 비행모델의 설계와 제작된 결과를 고찰하였다. 정착된 모든 서브모듈, 즉 가변이득증폭기, 가변전압감쇠기, 그리고 전치왜곡 보상회로를 위한 브랜치 라인 결합기와 검출기는 Thin-Film Hybrid 작업으로 제작되었다. 제작된 모듈의 성능은 초고주파 회로분석 시뮬레이션 툴과 우주환경에서의 전기적인 성능시험을 통하여 검증하였다.

KEPRI has completed to develop KP-ROTS Ver 1.1 and applied to 12 power transmission district offices and Je-ju branch office in KEPCO, which was updated from the exiting power restoration training simulator related to power restoration project. This program has functions such as black-start line analysis for all network blackout, restoration training on wide blackout and simple study on outage plans. KEPCO expects that local operators will train well for restoration procedures against wide blackout by using KP-ROTS.

This paper discusses sensitivity analysis for determining adequate locations of series-type FACTS devices. The main objective of FACTS reinforcement is to alleviate line over-loadings against violation of thermal limits after disturbances. This paper, to obtain the information concerning series-type FACTS locations, proposes a formulation for the sensitivity of the PI (Performance Index) with respect to the variation of the branch parameters, and applies to 5-bus test system to show the effectiveness of the sensitivity.
