The enumerative classification schemes do not represent the tiny mass of knowledge embodied in a article in a periodical or in a chapter or a paragraph of a book. But today's information centers regard a tiny spot of knowledge embodied in a article as a class. we call this micro-thought. But the enumerative classification are manual systems, it cannot be a n.0, pplied to the automation of classification. The purpose of this study is to build a general principle for the automatic book-classification which can be put to use in library operation, and to present a methodology of the automatic classification for the library. The methodology used is essentially theoretical, Published works by and about Ranganathan, especially 6th edition of the CC were studied, analyzed. The principle of automatic book classification derived from the analysis of colon classification and facet combinations. The results of this study can be summarized as follows ; (1) This study confined the fields of library science and agriculture. (2) This study represent a general principles for the automatic book classification of library science and agriculture. (3) Program flowcharts are designed as a basis of system analysis and program procedure in library science and agriculture. (4) The principles of the automatic classification in library, science is different from that of agriculture. (5) Automatic book classification can be performed by the principle of faceted classification, by inputting the title and subject code into a computer. In addition, the expected value from the automatic book-classification is as follows (1) The prompt and accurate of classification is possible. (2) Though a book is classified in any library, it can have same classification number. (3) The user can retrieve the classification code of a book for which he or she wants to search through dialogue with the computer. (4) Since the concept coordination method is employed, a tiny mass of knowledge embodied in a article in a periodical or in a chapter or a paragraph of a book can be represented as a class. (5) By performing automatic book-classification, the automation of library operation can be completed.

This research aims to suggest the way of activation of book curation in secondary school libraries by analyzing examples of book curation and the recognition of the persons in charge of secondary school libraries. A documentary research and a survey is conducted. 192 school librarians are chosen for that survey in Incheon region secondary school. 4 teacher librarians of Incheon region secondary school and a professor of library and information science are interviewed. Also an investigation is executed by visiting school libraries. Augmentation of the persons in charge of secondary school libraries, coordinating and information sharing with educational teachers, establishment of manual for book curation operation, publishing examples of subject selection are suggested for the measure of activation of book curation.

본 연구에서는 온라인 다중 사용자 환경의 eBook annotation 시스템 개발에서 데이터를 의미 기반으로 관리하고, 데이터에 대하여 상호 공통적인 이해를 표현하며, 그리고 데이터에 대한 무결성 검사 등을 지원하기 위해서 eBook annotation 온톨로지를 설계하였다. eBook annotation 데이터에 대한 상호 공통적이 이해를 표현을 위해서 한국 전자책 문서 표준인 EBKS(Electronic Book of korra Standard)를 기반으로 설계하였으며 설계된 온톨로지는 Conceptual Graph(CG)를 사용하여 표현하였다. 의미 기반의 처리를 위해서 본 온톨로지에서는 동의어(Synonym) 관계와 다국어(Interlingua) 관계를 고려하였으며 또한 annotation 데이터 생성시 오류 방지와 중요도를 표현하기 위해서 integrity, important axiom을 고려했다. 제안된 온톨로지는 annotation 데이터의 재사용성을 높일 수 있고 의미 정보를 활용함으로써 eLearning, cyberclass과 같은 다중 사용자 환경에서 효과적인 협업을 가능하게 한다.

Portable devices are growth such as smart phone and smart pad and e-book market is also growing, but existing publishers have some problem of conversion paper book to e-book with technology. In this paper propose to solve this problem using HTML5 for E-book making tool. HTML5 is new version of HTML. It can be use video and audio element. Also a lot of web Browser can be use HTML5 format. If we have HTML5 compatible browser devices, we can use anywhere and anytime. We propose video book making tool using these HTML5 characteristics, it is available to support of text or images.

본 논문은 TTS를 사용해 사용자들에게 E-Book 및 뉴스를 보고 들을 수 있는 기능을 제공한다. 사용자 및 개발자가 직접 녹음한 TTS를 사용해 원하는 목소리, 배속과 같은 기능을 제공한다. 기존 TTS를 사용한 E-Book 사이트들은 광고가 많아 가독성의 문제와 유료 서비스인 반면에 본 논문에서 제안한 웹은 다양한 연령층의 사용자들이 사용하기 쉽게 메뉴의 간편화를 통해 다양한 E-Book 및 뉴스 기능을 제공함으로써 보다 직관적이고 쉽게 전자문서를 읽을 수 있도록 하였다.

Our goal of study is to develop an automatic carkeeping book using ZigBee Protocol. Car owner gets information of car by PDA or Mobile phone through ZigBee wireless communication network, Running distance, tuning information of car, refueling information and repair information are automatically downloaded from Gas-Station or Tuning-shop. Finally, carkeeping book is automatically recorded without typing.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of assigning book numbers and the perceptions of librarians who assign the book numbers at two National Libraries, nine Regional Central Libraries and Jeongdok Public Library in Korea. Based upon the analysis, a better method to assign book numbers for the libraries was suggested. The most serious problem was the length of the book numbers due to the duplication of book numbers and lack of intuitiveness. Therefore, this study suggested a user-oriented way of assigning book numbers based upon combining the name of the author and the year of the publication.

This study intends to analyze issues of purchasing process in public libraries by the 2014 revised Publication Industry Promotion Agency of Korea and fixed book price. Furthermore, this study suggests future tasks for restoring the intent of revising the laws and toward a better book purchases. The main contents of this study are as follow: 1) preparing the effective methods for selecting book vendor with evaluating the performance not price competition, 2) establishing concept and scope of local bookstore as book vendor for restoring the intent of the activation policy of local bookstore, 3) establishing the well-defined regulation about benefit of the economic dimension.

This article chronicles the development of picture book reviews in Korea by analyzing the development of public libraries, emergence of magazines that feature reviews of picture books, and characteristics of reviewers. During the 1980s, a new wave of specialized book review magazines emerged. 1990s witnessed the proliferation of civic organizations that cater to children's books and promotion of reading. During the first half of 2000's, a number of daily newspapers added book sections and literature journals began actively producing picture book reviews. In the second half of the 2000's, the number of public libraries in Korea increased significantly and librarians have emerged as picture book reviewers.

98 wise sayings on the nature of book are collected from various books and analyzed in their meanings. The results of analyzing them are as follows: A book is a good friend, teacher, doctor, and guide of life. A book is an implement of enhancing man s culture and a vehicle of civilization. A book makes man find his own self and shows his way of life. A book has its own life, develops it, and doesn't lose its life, but its destination depends on its reader. Great books make man know, dominate, civilize the world. Good books are not easy to come in contact with, but immortal and life-long as a good friend. Bad books are not difficult to come in contact with, but poisonous and dull. You can judge a man by the book he reads. A book to be of help is to make man think. Great books make man begin his new life. Nationalities occupations, and periods of activity of the authors who said wise sayings are investigated and analyzed. First, the nationalities of the authors are such advanced countries with high culture as England(41%), France(21%), America(19%), Germany(5%) and Rome(5%). Secondary, their occupations are as follows : a man of letters(62%), philosopher(13%), politician(5%), and churchman(4%), and especially poet forms 32% of men of letters. Thirdly, their activity periods are mainly 19C-20C and the period form 38% of the whole.
