The prototype of Korean high speed train (HSR350), composed of two power cars, two motorized cars and three trailer cars, has been designed, fabricated and tested. In this paper, the body vibration has been reviewed from the viewpoint of the vehicle's safety and the vibration limits for components and sub-assemblies mounted on the car-body using by the experimental method. And, the dynamic characteristics, such as jerk, natural mode and kinematic mode, have been reviewed. The KHST has been run to 300 km/h in the KTX line and the results of on-line test show that it has no problems in the vehicle's safety and the vibration limits. And the characteristics of body vibrations has been predicted at 350 km/h by fitting curve about the measured acceleration signals.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between body-types and skirt-patterns by analyzing various fitting conditions of the skirt patterns in relation to the body-types. To achieve this, fitting tests were done on six types of skirt-patterns. The tests included four body-types selected according to the existing classification of the types of under part of the body. Sensory tests were performed on the existing patterns and new drafting method based on the results of the fitting tests. The results of the fitting tests and sensory test are as follows. 1. The existing skirt-patterns were relatively well-fitted except for certain parts in standard somatotype (body-type A). 2. The new drafting method, designed on the basis of the fitting test on the existing patterns, scored high on all of the eighteen items included in the test This signifies the excellence of the new drafting method. 3. In the case of the allocation between the front and the back, which is the difference between the educational patterns and industrial patterns, the best silhouette was achieved when the hip-line and the waist-line were same sized both in the back and in the front. However, in the case of body-type D it was better when there was a 1cm difference between the back and the front. 4. The number of darts that best fits young persons were found to be eight, to keep their side hip-curve smooth. Further, it is desirable to set the center line of the dart as the vertical waist-line. 5. The best length of the darts were determined to be 12.5cm, 11ch in the back, and 11cm, 9.5cm in the front. Adjustments would be made according to the differing body-types in the range of 0.5cm. 6. The lowerness of the back waist-line for the normal was determined at 1.5cm, with some variations in other body-types. 7. The front waist-line was needed to be 1cm lowered in the case of body-type B, whereas, in the case of body-type D, it was needed to be 1cm raised.
The purpose of this study was to classify the body shapes. exclusive of size and corpulence factors of more than 60-year old elderly women by distinctions, and to investigate the visual effects of combination of ensemble suit details. For the body shape classification, the factor analysis and cluster analysis were performed : the mean value difference of numeral values for classified types were tested by ANOVA : and the follow-up test was conducted by the Duncan's multiple ranged test. The data analysis for visual effects evaluated by a multiple ranking test was analysed by mean. paired t-test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple ranged test. The results are summarized as follows : 1. The followings are the types of body shape according to the shape factors of the front line of body for elderly women. The distinctions of the front li e of elderly women's body could be presumed; that was, Body typeⅠ was a comparatively well-balanced body type, Body type Ⅱ was close to an average body type. and Body type In was a severely corpulent body type. 2. The followings are the results on the physical visual effects inducing the constituents of clothing type. 1) The neckline·collar types of a jacket have a great influence on the visual effects of the upper body, and orderly. the tailored collar. soutien collar, and round neckline had positive influence on the visual effects in the upper body. 2) The pleat types of one-piece dress had positive influence on the visual effects in the lower body in the order of gored type, pleats type, and gathered type. Also. the balance in the lower body had more influence on the overall balance of the clothing compared to the constituents of clothing type such as neckline collar type or opening line. 3) It showed that whether there is the front opening line of a jacket influenced on the visual effects of all categories.

The Purposes of this study were 1)to find the body surface total line and segment line significantly(${\alpha}$=0.05) changed by the leg movement including all movement direction of hip joint, knee joint and ankle joint for the more functional clothing. 2)to classify them into 3 types-expansion type, contraction type, expansion & contraction type, and 3)to identify the characteristics of the body surface length changes. 10 Crosswise and 5 lengthwise body surface total lines and 48 crosswise & 39 lengthwise body surface segment lines of 26 female college students aged from 18 to 24 years were measured directly on the body surface and were analyzed by ANOVA & Multiple Comparison Test (Tukey). The results were as following : Body surface total lines significantly changed were all the body surface total lines except abdoman girth, 1/2thigh girth of lower leg and ankle girth, and these were classified into 3 types : Center front leg line belonged to expansion & contraction type, whereas lateral leg line, legscye girth, and total crotch length belonged to contraction type. The rest belonged to expansion type. Knee girth showed maximum expansion, whereas center front leg line showed maximum contraction. Body surface total lines have shown large expansion crosswise whereas lengthwise they have mainly shown contraction. At least more than one component segment line of each body surface total lines except abdoman girth and ankle girth have shown significant change. Top segment of inner leg line showed maximum expansion. whereas just below top segment of center front leg line showed maximum contraction. Crosswise all the body surface segment lines have shown expansion except inner back segments of thigh girth and 1/2thigh girth of upper leg which have shown contraction. Lengthwise they have shown both expansion and contraction according to the location of front or back, and below or upper 1/2thigh girth line except the component segment lines of lateral leg line, which has shown contraction only.(cf. figure 2. figure 3. and table 2-2).

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the visual effects and images according to changes in the silhouettes and length of miniskirt. The silhouettes of the miniskirt were classified into two different categories according to side line, H-line and A-line. We altered the length of the miniskirt in five categories with changes in 25cm, 27.5cm, 30cm, 32.5cm, and 35cm. For the visual evaluation, 10 stimuli were placed in mannequins, and were estimated by the experts in the fashion design. For the visual evaluation according to changes in the silhouettes and length of the miniskirt, we used 13 pairs of items to find the visual effects, and 23 pairs of adjectives to measure the visual images. The stimuli and adjectives were randomly given to the evaluators and were evaluated by the 7-Point Likert Type Scale. The data have analyzed by frequency, t-test, factor analysis, anova, scheffe's test and the MCA method. According to the factor analysis of the visual effects of the miniskirt, the result was classified into 3 factors: the thickness of the lower body, the length of the lower body, and the shape of the lower body. According to factor analysis of the visual image of the miniskirt, the result was classified into 4 factor: personality, attraction, elegance, and activity. The silhouettes of miniskirt had more positive visual effects and images in A-Line than in H-Line. Among the visual effects of miniskirts, the length affected the thickness and length of the lower body more than the silhouette did and, the silhouette had more effects on the shape of the lower body than the length did. And shorter the skirts, stronger the image of personality. However, 32.5cm and 35cm miniskirts are estimated to be more attractive than excessively short skirts. There are many differences in the image of personality and activity according to the changes in the length of miniskirts.

In this study, visual evaluation was wide pants with changes in length of pants and width of hem line of wide pants design to provide data which can enhance wearing image effects at the production of wide pants. According to the length of pants and width of hem line of wide pants, a total of 9 stimulants were chosen. Then, they were evaluated using a seven-point rating scale against 40 fashion students. The data has been analyzed by Factor Analysis, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$'s Test and the MCA method. The results of the study are as follows : 1. According to factor analysis, the components of visual evaluation depending on the length of pants and width of hem line of wide pants were divided into five factors: individuality, body correction, modesty, body length and cute. 2. According to visual evaluation depending on changes in the length of pants, no significant difference was found in all five positions. 3. According to visual evaluation depending on changes in the length of pants and width of hem line of wide pants, 'width of hem line 60, 100' revealed a significant difference in body correction. 'width of hem line 80' revealed a significant difference in body correction and body length. 4. In terms of interactions over changes in the length of pants and width of hem line of wide pants, no interaction effects were found in all five factors. According to multiple classification analysis(MCA) on the factors without interaction effects, length of pants had more effect on visual image in body correction, body length and cute. In other factors, more influence was observed depending on the width of hem line.
This study is based on the results of the $7^{th}$ Korea Human Size Survey (Size Korea). The standard body shapes of Korean women between 25 and 34 years old were analyzed and used to develop a prototype princess line for wedding dresses. or this purpose I conducted a literature review and a survey of the actual situation of domestic ligaments. In order to select suitable ligaments for the standard body type of 25~34 year-old Korean women, I collected the most representative ligaments from around the world: Stock man from France, Superior from the USA, KIIYA from Japan, and Pig and Nonno from Korea. They were then compared and analyzed. In the form of a formal wedding dress, a prototype princess line was developed by a draping technique in order to finely implement the human body fitting. To develop the prototype of the princess line, I made test garments with muslin. 25 to 34 years old Korean female standard body type Three human subjects close to the average measurement value were selected as subjects. An exterior appearance evaluation questionnaire was created with 28 questions focusing on the main parts of the prototype princess line. The clothes were evaluated three times. In this study, aesthetic and functional elements were considered for the development of princess line prototypes for wedding dresses. In addition, the amount of spare area was given differently. This study is significant in the achievement of a dress line closest that closely matches the human body line of the standard Korean female body type.

This study developed an ideal jeggings pattern with an improved body fit for 20-24 year old females. The results of the study are as follows. First, samples for wearing test were made using jegging patterns from three manufacturers; subsequently, one pattern with a relatively outstanding body fit was selected from the first test. The selected pattern suggested a tight knee, belly, and crotch, high front waist line, and low back waist line. The side lines were also lean to the front; consequently, the front hip width was extended for 0.5cm for more space around the belly and the extended front knee part for 0.2cm to increase moving suitability to fix the leaning side lines. A 1cm front waist line was extended for 0.5cm to fix it lower; in addition, the back waist line 3.0cm was extended for 0.5cm to heighten it. The crotch width was also extended for 0.5cm to add more space. The second wearing test for the fixed forms were evaluated for their outstanding features in appearance as well as moving functions that were proposed as final jeggings forms. The results of the study suggested a jeggings pattern with a better body fit using manufacturer patterns that can be used as basic data for pant patterns with better fitting using various stretch fabrics.
