실습선 한바다호의 운항성능에 관한 연구(II) - 상하가속도를 이용한 승선감 평가 - (A Study on the Ship's Performance of T.S. HANBADA(II) - The Evaluation of Boarding Comfort with Vertical Acceleration -)

  • 해상 상태가 거칠어짐에 따라 선체동요로 인하여 선박에 승선 증인 승객 및 승무원은 멀미 증상을 호소하기도 하고, 졸음 증상, 어지럼증, 두통 및 복통 등을 초래하기도 한다. 심한 경우에는 생리적으로 회복하기 힘들 정도의 심각한 장애를 겪기도 한다. 또한, 의욕(동기부여) 감소, 숙련도 저하, 인지능력 및 판단력 저하 등 정신적 활동의 지연이나 오류를 유발하는 등 활동성 및 작업수행 능력이 현저히 떨어지기도 한다. 본 논문에서는 멀미의 발생 및 작업수행과 관련된 대표적인 국제 표준안을 살펴보았고, 실습선에 승선 중인 실습생들을 대상으로 수차례에 걸쳐 설문조사를 실시하여 승선감을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 멀미 중상을 유발하는 주요소가 상하가속도임을 확인하였고, 그 크기(수준)는 0.2g 이상으로 분석되었다. 또한, 속력 또는 침로를 변경하여 파도와의 만남주기가 $4{\sim}8$초의 범위에서 벗어나도록 항해함으로써 멀미 증상을 완화시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

  • 자동차를 이용하는 시간이 늘어남에 따라 자동차 실내의 온열쾌적성에 대한 관심이 급증하고 있다. 그러나 아직까진 실제 자동차 중에서 공조시스템의 냉방성능은 자동차 제조사별로 온열쾌적성 지표를 통해 평가되지 않고, 실내의 공기 속도와 온도 등 열환경 기준에 의해 평가되고 있다. 또한 차 실내의 온열쾌적성을 수치해석으로 평가하는 경우 타당한 결과를 도출할 수 있는 수치기법에 대한 기준이 확립되지 않은 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 외부 열원을 모사하기 위하여 태양광선 추적모델을 사용하고, 공조시스템 작동 후 20 분까지 다양한 매개변수(공조시스템의 작동모드와 작동풍량, 인체모델 탑승조건)에 대한 자동차 실내의 온열쾌적성 평가를 수행하였다. 이를 통해 자동차 실내의 온열쾌적성 지표를 예측할 수 있는 평가모델을 도출하였다.

운전자의 심리·생리 반응을 고려한 승용차 쾌적 난방 모드에 관한 연구 (Research on the Thermal Comfort Heating Mode Considering Psychological and Physiological Response of Automobile Drivers)

  • In this research, the psychological and physiological reactions of the driver were measured during winter to evaluate thermal comfort. The experiment was conducted using 3 different cases which are hot air heating, warm-wire seat heating and hot air & warm-wire seat heater operating simultaneously. With regard to psychological reaction, the warm-wire heating mode was the most preferred. The reason is that it is dry in other cases. With regard to EEG response, thermal comfort increased by 37% in warm air mode heating. In addition, when the warm-wire heating mode and the hot air & warm-wire heating mode were simultaneously operated, the thermal comfort continuously increased by between 17% and 20% for 20 minutes after boarding. Under the change of the autonomic nervous system, the thermal stress level increased by 23% after 15 minutes on board in the hot air heating mode and decreased continuously by 13% during the warm-wire seat heating mode. We recommended the hot air heating mode is only used for a short time to raise the inside temperature during the early boarding period and that warm-wire seat heating mode be actively utilized.

리프트 컬럼 배치설계가 탑승교 구조 강성에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (Study on the Effect of the Lift Column Layout Design on Structural Strength of the Passenger Boarding Bridge)

  • 탑승교는 여객터미널청사에서 항공기 출입구 사이를 이어주는 이동통로를 탑승객에게 제공하는 공항 편의시설 중 하나다. 본 연구에서는 유한요소 해석법을 이용하여 탑승교 설계시 리프트 컬럼의 배치설계가 탑승교 구조물의 처짐 및 응력상태에 미치는 영향 비교 검토하였다. 그 결과 탑승교 터널 프레임의 중첩구간에서 최대응력이 발생함을 확인하였고, 리프트 컬럼 배치설계와 그 값의 크기가 매우 밀접한 관계를 갖고 있음을 확인하였다.

실습선 가야호의 선체진동에 대한 승선환경 (Boarding environment of training ship KAYA for the hull vibration)

  • To compare and evaluate the suitability and comfort levels of the environment on board a stern trawl training ship, KAYA(GT: 1737 tons, Pukyong National University), with the international standardization guide ISO 6954:2000(E), measurements of the hull vibration on accommodation areas and working areas of the training ship from July 8 to July 10, 2008 were completed upon KAYA's linear sea route. The vibrations along the z-axis were measured with the use of a 3-axis vibration level meter, which included a marine vibration card. Results show accelerations of the vibrations on the passenger's accommodation area to be 42.0-115.8(average: 78.0, standard deviation(SD): 21.0) mm/$s^2$, which is largely below the permissible upper limit, but 75 % of the observation points exceeded the permissible lower limit of 71.5 mm/$s^2$, indicating a comfortable environment. The accelerations of the vibration in a frequency of 10-24Hz lowering the visual performance were measured at 2.5-12.0(average: 7.6, SD: 3.1) mm/$s^2$. The crew s accommodation area experienced vibration accelerations of 42.9-82.3(average: 93.1, SD: 53.1) mm/$s^2$, which is generally below the permissible upper limit of 214.0 mm/$s^2$, and 62.5% of the observation points did not exceed the permissible lower limit of 107.0 mm/$s^2$, denoting a level of comfort. The acceleration of the vibration in a frequency of 10-24Hz were 4.7-28.3(average: 12.4, SD: 8.8) mm/$s^2$. On the crew s working area the accelerations were measured at 86.9-153.9(average 119.3, SD 18.0) mm/$s^2$. These values were generally below the permissible upper limit of 286.0 mm/$s^2$ and only 12.5% of the observation points did not exceed the permissible lower limit of 143.0 mm/$s^2$, the level at which a high level of comfort is maintained. The accelerations in frequency of 10-24Hz and 30Hz were 9.1-29.8 (average 13.8, SD= 4.5) mm/$s^2$ and 8.9-13.7 (average 11.8, SD 2.1) mm/$s^2$, respectively. In conclusion the boarding environment of the training ship was good in general although an improvement of the vibration condition partially needed on the crew s accommodation area near the engine room.

실습선 가야호의 해상상태와 선내 위치에 따른 뱃멀미 지수에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Motion Sickness Incidence due to Sea State and Location of the Training Ship Kaya)

  • For boarding comfort and pleasant boarding sensitivity of passenger in passenger ship, there are a few methods such as motion sickness rate or MSI(Motion Sickness Incidence) to assess safety of passenger ship. To find out MSI or motion sickness rate of the training vessel Kaya of Pukyong National University, we use lots of various factors: sea condition, incident angle in main sail way, economic speed, calculation position of motion sickness, sea state, work place and reduce zone of ship. In this paper, we adopted Maxsurf Seakeeper program based on Strip Theory and carefully compared theoretical results with experimental results.

전통성을 활용한 기숙사의 외관색채 아이덴티티에 관한 연구 (A study on an identity of international students' dormitory based on traditional color)

  • A purpose of this study is to suggest color palette of outdoor environment of international students' dormitory in Yonsei university in order to improve the residents' satisfaction with the physical and mental factors. With the advent of the age of International and Global, more and more international students are coming to Korea studying Korean, so each university makes an effort to enhance the level of the university and establishing the internal boarding for the comfort of foreigners. This study draws problems of the color which lack to show internal boarding's identity and communicate with environment around the dorm both. The results of the study show, firstly, dominant color which is used on this project is based on Korean traditional color used in the International students' dormitory are harmonized with environment color and, next, accent color can reveal the identity of the dorm in Yonsei university.

Development of an Anti-Seasickness Bed used in Vessel

  • Roll and pitching motions of a vessel can seriously degrade the performance of mechanical systems and the effectiveness of personnel. Many studies on roll stabilization and trimming control system design have focused on stabilizing the vessel through the use of fins, tanks, rudders and flaps. However the ultimate objective of such approaches must be to improve boarding sensitivity. This paper presents an anti-seasickness bed that consists of a rotator and bearing system that does not make use of electric power. The advantages of this system are its simple construction, usefulness, and safe operation. In this study, the rotation angles of the upper plate of a bed according to change weight of the rotator have been calculated to determine the stability. As a result, it can be concluded that proposed stabilizing bed can be of practical use in the field.

SNS 리뷰데이터의 활용 : 저가항공사와 대형항공사를 중심으로 (Utilization of SNS Review Data for a Comparison between Low Cost Carrier and Full Service Carrier)

  • There exist a number of studies pertaining to the determinants of customer satisfaction between low-cost and full-service carriers in the airline industry. Most studies measured service quality using SERVQUAL based on a survey method. This study offers a new perspective by employing a big data analytic approach using SNS data, which reflects the immediate response of customers as well as trends in real time. This study chose eight factors from TripAdvisor's customer review site as determinants of customer satisfaction and compared the differences between low-cost and full-service airlines. The factors analyzed were seat comfort, customer service, cleanliness, food and beverage, legroom, entertainment, value for money, and check-in and boarding. Additionally, ratings from domestic and foreign customers were compared. The findings show that customer service and value for money are significant factors in satisfaction with low-cost airlines while all variables except legroom and entertainment are significant for full-service airlines. The results show that SNS-based data and analysis of big data are important for improving decision-making effectiveness and increasing customer satisfaction in the airline industry.

시내버스 이용자의 서비스만족 영향요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Affecting to Service Satisfaction of Intra-city Bus Users)

  • 부산시는 2007년 시내버스 준공영제 시행 이후 버스 서비스 향상을 통한 이용활성화를 도모하고자 노력하고 있다. 이를 위해 시내버스 이용자를 대상으로 서비스 만족에 영향을 미치는 주된 요인을 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 시내버스 서비스 20개 항목을 기본적 서비스, 안전운행, 노선정보, 쾌적도, 청결도 및 편의시설의 상위 6개 영향요인으로 구분하고, 각 세부 서비스에 대한 선호의식을 분석하였다. 그리고 시내버스 이용자의 일반적 특성(성별, 연령), 교통 행동(이용횟수, 탑승시간)과 교통환경(기온, 강수)에 따른 다양한 조건에서의 버스 서비스 만족 영향을 도출하였다. 이 연구결과는 기후변화에 대비하는 버스 정책과 버스 이용활성화를 위한 운영계획 수립 시 중요한 의사결정 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.
