Real Time Linux System Design (리얼 타임 리눅스 시스템 설계)

  • In this paper, we implemented the object scanning with nxtOSEK which is an open source platform. nxtOSEK consists of device driver of leJOS NXJ C/Assembly source code, TOPPERS/ATK(Automotive real time Kernel) and TOPPERS/JSP Real-Time Operating System source code that includes ARM7 specific porting part, and glue code make them work together. nxtOSEK can provide ANSI C by using GCC tool chain and C API and apply for real-time multi tasking features. We experimented the 3D scanning with ultra sonic and laser sensor which are made directly by laser module diode and experimented the measurement of scanning the object by knowing x, y, and z coordinates for every points that it scans. In this paper, the laser module is the dimension of $6{\times}10[mm]$ requiring 5volts/5[mW], and used the laser light of wavelength in the 650[nm] range. For detecting the object, we used the beacon detection algorithm and as the laser light swept the objects, the photodiode monitored the ambient light at interval of 10[ms] which is called a real time. We communicated the 3D scanning platform via bluetooth protocol with host platform and the results are displayed via DPlot graphic tool. And therefore we enhanced the functionality of the 3D scanner for identifying the image scanning with laser sensor modules compared to ultra sonic sensor.

  • 최근 보급되는 스마트 디바이스들은 실외뿐만 아니라 실내의 위치를 측정할 수 있는 기술들을 제공하고 있다. 실외 위치 측위 같은 경우는 기존의 GPS(Global Positioning System)를 사용하는 것이 일반적이지만, 실내 위치 측위는 기존의 GPS 방법으로는 한계가 있어 다양한 새로운 방법들이 연구 중에 있다. 그 중 가장 대표적인 방법은 BLE(Bluetooth Low Energy) 기반의 비콘(beacon)을 활용하는 것이다. 그러나 이 또한 추가적인 하드웨어가 필요할 뿐만 아니라 충전이 필요하다는 단점이 존재한다. 따라서 본 논문은 상기 단점들을 극할 수 있는 OCC(Optical Camera Communication)를 활용한 실내 위치 측위 기술을 고려한다. 특별히 공연장 내에서 관객들이 소지하고 있는 스마트 디바이스 카메라의 상대적인 위치정보를 획득하는 시스템을 제안한다. 이는 추가적인 하드웨어를 필요로 하지 않고 비동기식 접근이 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템을 통해 획득된 위치정보들은 촬영한 영상과 함께 저장되어 다양한 시점을 제공하는 응용데이터로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

A Novel of Mobile Commerce and Information Notice System for Local Festival Content Activation based on Location Information (위치 정보기반의 지역 축제 콘텐츠 활성화를 위한 모바일 커머스 및 정보 알림 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, it is being held festival according to regional and seasonally cultural feature in nationwide. Especially, local festivals are being provided festival information services a variety of forms for tourists depending on development of information device. However, systems to provide notification information of local festivals are not persistent but mostly short term service. In this paper, we propose a mobile commerce and information notification system through festival information alerts and festival surrounding information using local based on service. In addition, we implement a festival information notification system that applies to beacon based on bluetooth in order to inform them on diverse festival. Finally, we take into account in terms of design of system using object-oriented design modeling to improve reusability of proposed system.

A Disaster Evacuation System Using Smart Devices for Indoor Crisis Management in BLE Environments (BLE 환경에서 실내 위기관리를 위한 스마트 장치 기반의 재난대피 시스템)

  • This paper describes a novel disaster evacuation system using embedded systems such as smart devices for crisis and emergency management. In indoor environments deployed with the Bluetooth Low Energy(BLE) beacons, smart devices detect their indoor positions from beacon messages and interact with Map Server(MS) and Route Server(RS) in the Internet over the LTE and/or Wi-Fi functions. The MS and RS generate an optimal path to the nearest emergency exit based on a novel graph generation method for less route computation, called the Disaster Evacuation Graph(DEG), for each smart device. The DEG also enables efficient processing of some constraints in the computation of route, such as load balancing in situation of different capacities of paths or exits. All data interfaces among three system components, the MS, RS, smart devices, have been defined for modular implementation of our disaster evacuation system. Our experimental system has been deployed and tested in our building thoroughly and gives a good evidence that the modular design of the system and a novel approach to compute emergency route based on the DEG is competitive and viable.

  • Recently, the development of indoor positioning technology, base station positioning, Wi - Fi positioning, and Bluetooth beacon positioning technology have been introduced in buildings and underground space. This paper introduces a technique that enables user-oriented ultra-high precision positioning by adopting a lenticular positioning technology, which is a method in which a user directly locates a user's moving line based on a provider-oriented positioning system and service. Through the study on the implementation of coverage using lenticular stickers, we will discuss how to implement coverage of lenticular stickers, which is one of the most important parts of lenticular positioning technology.

  • 현재 IoT의 발달로 인해서 많은 위치기반 서비스들이 개발되고 있고 이러한 서비스들을 위해서는 사용자의 정확한 위치 획득이 요구되고 있다. 현재 실내 환경에서 사용자의 위치 획득을 위한 여러 장치들 중 블루투스 비콘이 널리 사용되고 있는데, 비콘은 저전력으로 수명이 길고 설치하기 용이한 장점이 있지만 비콘으로부터 수신되는 신호 자체의 불안정성과 수신신호에 여러 잡음들이 섞이는 문제점 때문에 측위 결과에 큰 오차가 발생하게 되는 단점도 있다. 한편, 최근에는 보다 원할한 위치기반 서비스 제공을 위하여 UWB 기능이 스마트폰에 내재되어 나오면서 사용자에게 점차 보급되는 추세이다. UWB는 블루투스 비콘에 비해 가격이 비싸고 전력소모가 많지만 측위에서의 높은 정확도를 얻을 수 있다고 알려져 있다. 본 논문에서는 비콘과 UWB의 두 방식을 이용하여 실내측위를 수행할 때 실제 측정을 통해서 실내 전파수신 환경을 분석하고, 측정된 데이터를 바탕으로 실내 전파수신 환경을 모델링하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 측정 데이터와 시뮬레이션 결과의 정확도를 상호 분석하였으며, 블루투스 비콘과 UWB 방식의 실내측위 수행결과를 측정과 시뮬레이션 결과를 바탕으로 비교, 분석하였다.

  • In order to collect a lot of data clearly and efficiently, it is essential to know the locations of the current facilities and analyze the movement data. The current location collection technology can collect data using a GPS (Global Positioning System) sensor, but in the case of GPS, it has strong straightness and low diffraction and reflectivity, making it difficult to position indoors. It is impossible to measure the distance between the server and the client because the signal sensitivity cannot be received. This paper implements an indoor positioning system using beacons and scanners in Raspberry Pi 3 B+. It controls Advertise Mode and Connection Mode at the same time using the scanner algorithm.

Developmental Plan of Man-Overboard Alert Devices of Small Fishing Vessels: A Study (소형어선의 선외추락 경보장치 개발 방안 연구)

  • A method of transmitting an alert signal in case of man-overboard (MOB) systems in a small fishing vessel navigating within coastal area is being operated as VHF-DSC equipment via a distress alert button and V-P ass Equipment via alert button or beacon separation. However, a small fishing vessel with a couple of crews on board is an inappropriate way to alert a man-overboard condition. However, internationally, MOB equipment using VHF-DSC, AIS, and Bluetooth technologies is used to transmit alert signals directly to the mother ship and other radio stations. In order to analyze the performance and technology of the MOB equipment operating in foreign countries, it was confirmed that the alarm signal can be received within a maximum of one nautical mile when the MOB device is on the water surface. An MOB device that meets domestic conditions needs to send an alarm signal to a station within the VHF communication range. However, in order to reduce the false alert signal, it is most appropriate to operate the VHF-DSC radio equipment installed on the ship remotely. Analysis of various technologies connecting the MOB and the VHF-DSC revealed that the Bluetooth system has advantages such as device miniaturization. When an emergency signal is transmitted from the MOB device, it can be received by a dedicated receiver and recognized through an external input terminal of the VHF-DSC equipment generating its own alarm. If the emergency situation cannot be processed at the mother ship, a distress alert is sent to all radio stations via VHF-DSC for response under emergencies faced by small fishing vessels.

  • From bar code systems and radio frequency identification (RFID) to beacons utilizing low power bluetooth technology, the fusion of information technology and health and medical treatment is spreading through advances such as automated treatment and examination stages and the use of treatment information connected to smart devices. In this paper, designed and implemented a mobile health care system for the safe management of blood transfusions to prevent accidental problems that can occur during patient blood transfusions. It makes safe and effective blood transfusion possible by using smart devices to read information saved on patient bracelets, blood-collecting containers, blood transfusion bags, and medical personnel identification cards so that they match patient information. By applying the blood transfusion management mobile health care system presented and implemented in this paper to blood transfusion processes in hospitals, it was verified that it allows for safe and effective blood transfusion, preventing accidents which may occur in blood transfusion processes.

  • In today's society, the majority of people use smartphones, and mobile ordering and payment systems for their convenience are gaining their attention. The mobile payment market is on the rise, with over 71% of the market that is already formed in China. Many mobile payment markets are growing in Korea, which is a system that is provided only in large franchises. In this paper, we propose a mobile ordering and payment system using short-range wireless communication technology that can be easily used not only in franchises but also in the small businesses, and for the convenience of users in modern society to make a system that enables ordering and payment through mobile to communicate between the devices developed by short range wireless communication technology, smartphone and the main server.
