블루투스 기술기준과 발전방향

  • Bluetooth stands for a technical specification for radio communication or a radio equipment that uses the Bluetooth specification of which the main purpose is to substitute the complicated communication cable of the informative device or electronic apparatus used at home or industrial fields, and was expected to be a mastermind of revolution in the short range radio communication. But the Bluetooth has recently been led to the mobile communication field which is somewhat apart from the primary purpose of Bluetooth and occur the question on its effectiveness. This paper review the situation of Bluetooth in the aspect of radio technical criteria and propose the direction for improvement of regulatory basis considering the prospection of the technical development of Bluetooth.

  • Bluetooth technology has been applied to mobile device, personal computers, peripherals, information and variety of consumer electronics. Not also the original Bluetooth technology must be especially focused in the application of mobile phone but applications such as wireless headsets and dial-up networking may be increased. However Bluetooth is so only focused to wireless headset application that the various software applications are presently ignored. In this paper, we propose the framework design to implement Bluetooth profile for kiosk servers, which can be used in Theater, train station, bank, government and public offices. Then mobile devices capable of processing user's input/output can be remotely accessed in these servers by using Bluetooth module and AP, although Kiosk servers are only processed user input data.

  • In this paper, we propose the access control system based bluetooth using the MAC address of the smart device. Access control system that propose compares the smart device MAC address entry and exit and MAC address that is registered with the server. Depending on whether the match was compared, access control is performed. Result of the experiment, control of door is possible only by bluetooth pairing of the bluetooth module and smart device. Therefore, it does not require access to another tool.In addition, Action for access approval is omitted. Therefore, the access authorization procedure is simplified compared to existing access control systems, it is possible to improve the convenience.

A Close Contact Tracing Method Based on Bluetooth Signals Applicable to Ship Environments

  • There are still outbreaks of COVID-19 across the world. Ships increase the risk of worldwide transmission of the virus. Close contact tracing remains as an effective method of reducing the risk of virus transmission. Therefore, close contact tracing in ship environments becomes a research topic. Exposure Notifications API (Application Programming Interface) can be used to determine the encountered location points of close contacts on ships. Location points of close contact are estimated by the encountered location points. Risky areas in ships can be calculated based on the encountered location points. The tracking of close contacts is possible with Bluetooth technology without the Internet. The Bluetooth signal can be used to judge the proximity among detecting devices by using the feature that Bluetooth has a strong signal at close range. This Bluetooth feature makes it possible to trace close contacts in ship environments. In this paper, we propose a method for close contact tracing and showing the risky area in a ship environment by combining beacon and Exposure Notification API using Bluetooth technology. This method does not require an Internet connection for tracing close contacts and can protect the personal information of close contacts.

  • Bluetooth는 기기들간에 고정된 제어 장치를 갖지 않고 각각의 이동 기기가 스스로piconet 이라는 불리는 네트워크를 구성하게 되고, 이 piconet을 확장하여 scatternet을 구성하게된다. 이 scatternet의 형태는 Bluetooth 망 전체 성능에 큰 영향을 미치게 되는데. 본 논문에서는 지금까지 제시된 scatternet의 구성 방법들을 알아보고 scatternet을 구성하기 위해 piconet간에 공유되는 bridge 노드의 숫자를 2개까지 늘려서 원활한 통신과 안정적인 망 구성을 위한 방안을 제시한다. 또한, 성능 분석을 위하여 Bluetooth 전문 시뮬레이터인 IBM의 BlueHoc을 사용하여 bridge 노드수와 scatternet을 구성하는 piconet수의 변화에 따른scatternet의 성능을 모의 실험을 통해 측정하여 보았다.

  • This paper presents a Prototype system developed for a Bluetooth interfaced VoIP system. The VoIP phone is developed based on tile implementation of a CELP coder on the TI 16bit DSP Processor A PC interfaced with Bluetooth module is used to designing a access point system. Host controller protocol stack is implemented to realize gateway between the wireless and wired line networks. A server application program for user management and call processing, which is based on TCP/IP peer to peer connection, is implemented for tile evaluation of overall interface system.

Mobile Healthcare System Based on Bluetooth Medical Device

  • Recently healthcare industry such as pharmaceutical, medical device and healthcare service technology is growing significantly. Mobile healthcare has attracted big attention due to IT convergence technology. Paradigm of healthcare has been changed from the 1st generation(communicable disease prevention) and the 2nd generation(treatment of disease due to extended life expectancy) to the 3rd generation(extended life expectancy due to prevention and control). In our study, we suggest the 3rd generation mobile healthcare system using Bluetooth based wearable ECG monitoring system and smart phone technology. The mobile healthcare system consists of wearable shirts with Bluetooth communication module, ECG sensor, battery, and mobile phone. The ECG data is obtained by a miniaturized sensor and the data is transferred to a mobile phone using Bluetooth communication. Then, user can monitor his/her own ECG signal on an application using Android in mobile phone. The Bluetooth communication device is used due to highly reliable data transmission property and the Bluetooth chip is embedded in every mobile phone. The wearable shirts with chest belt of Bluetooth ECG module is designed with a focus on convenience in the daily life of a wearer. The ECG signal evaluation software in Android based mobile phone is developed for the health check and the ECG signal variation is tested according to the activities of the wearer such as walking, climbing stairs, stand up and sit down, and so on.

Development of Wireless Control System for High Power LED Luminaire Using Bluetooth Wireless Communication and Current Control System (Bluetooth 무선 통신과 전류제어 시스템을 이용한 고전력 LED 등기구의 무선제어 시스템 개발)

  • An LED lighting control system was developed to combine information technology and LED lights for efficient management and energy savings. The system can monitor and control the status of an LED luminaire using Bluetooth wireless communication, sensor technology, and smart phones. An LED lighting control circuit was designed using a temperature sensor, illumination sensor, and Bluetooth module with a fuzzy constant-current control circuit. We extended the lifetime and prevented damage to the LED by optimizing the supply current of the LED luminaire based on the heat-generation temperature of $70^{\circ}C$ of an LED heat sink. We also automatically adjusted the ON/OFF time depending on the ambient illumination of the LED luminaire. By allowing easy control of the LED luminaires on a smartphone, we improved the efficiency and achieved energy savings. The control system was validated through experiments for normal operation.

  • Recently, Wireless communication has been widely used as a short distance communication medium in various industrial fields as well as communication connection between home appliances due to the appearance of the Internet of Things. And Most commonly used wireless communication media include WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC. Among them, Bluetooth is widely used for communication between smart devices as well as computer peripheral devices. And Bluetooth in the home network fields is being used to control electronic products. However, since Bluetooth security vulnerabilities are known, more and more attacks are being exploited. As the application range of Bluetooth is expanding, it is necessary to prepare countermeasures accordingly. Therefore, this study investigates the security threat factors of through Bluetooth'attack case and attack technology. And By proposing countermeasures against this problem, we intend to utilize it as data for improving the security of wireless network service in the future.

  • In this paper, a system that transmits ECG signals which get from hand baggage ECG is implemented by using Bluetooth technology. Bluetooth technology is a close range wireless communication used wireless frequency 2.4GHZ bandwidth. This technology consumes very small power and provides high reliability also self error correction with high speed frequency hopping. Because every device which uses Bluetooth protocol can communicate each other. These can connect between the system implemented and any devices such as mobile telephone with Bluetooth module, notebook, and the personal mobile device. Also, the paper proposes capability of transmission to the sever of hospital through each type of wireless communication device that acquired medical information signals in mobile medical machine. The system consists of hardware parts with Bluetooth module and host part, and software parts with bluetooth protocol stacks. The host precesses a connection with other device and transmits ECG signals with bluetooth frequency hopping sequence.
