  • Today, energy problem has become an important issue, and a development of renewable energy is urgent. In architectural fields, a research of the energy efficient lighting system using renewable energy is in progress. The energy efficient lighting system could be realized by integrating a daylight responsive LED lighting control system and a blind PV system. This system is able to save and generate electric energy. Efficiency of this system depends on control methods of blind PV. As a preliminary research, this research analyzed power generation and inflow of available daylight according to control method of blind PV.

  • Daylight provides residents with good visual environment. And available daylight in inside provides positive influence on psychological and physiological aspects. Also, sunlight can be converted directly into electricity using PV(photovoltaic) power generation. This study was to analyze characteristics of daylight distributions, calculate an amount of solar radiation and a PV power generation on the building facade using Radiance and Ecotect simulation programs. Ultimately, the purpose of this study is to verify the applicability of Blind PV systems.

Developing the Light-weight PV Blind System and the Shading Analysis by the Control Conditions (경량 태양광발전 블라인드 개발 및 제어조건에 따른 음영분석)

  • This study aims to develope the light-weight PV blinds with windows and to investigate the shading analysis by the control conditions. For the study, the polycarbonate characteristics and coating methods are analyzed and the PV blind design for a small office is suggested. Also, the mock-up model of a suggesting system was made. The field tests were controled based on a solar altitude under clear sky conditions. As results, it is necessary to use a polycarbonate instead of a tempered glass for a light-weight PV. The shading effects of blind systems are high in slat angle $30^{\circ}$ and low in $0^{\circ}$. Also, the shading ratio is more affected by solar latitude than solar altitude. The shading change rate is relevantly constant on the solar altitude.

  • The present society have been polluted the earth environment by the rapid industrial growth. So, the meaning of sustainable development is doing more important. Therefore the technology skills of sustainable architecture techniques have been studied many-side of energy as like energy saving and substitutive energy. But, See the studies until now, there have been just one system either energy saving or substitutive energy. So, the paper studies about energy saving system with substitutive energy system(the double-skin facade system with PV modules) and presents the performance of system through the analysis of reduction of the energy load, the solar radiation on the slope angle of PV module, the blind effect in system.

  • In korea, PV business has been growing fast since 2000. There are many ways to build PV System. Among them, BIPV(Building Integrated Photovoltaic) System using PV Modules as external wall has been carried out research on and invested much. Thus I will suggest another way to apply the BIPV System. This System is Eco System designed to consume little energy working the blind by the power that the BIPV System generates. I will show you how to make and apply this BIPV System.

Sky Condition Analysis using the Processing of Digital Images (디지털 이미지 처리를 통한 천공상태 분석)

  • The accurate analysis of the outside sky conditions is necessary to increase the efficiency of blind PV system. To conduct the accurate analysis, this paper suggested a method to analyze the sky condition using a specific image processing technique. While a fisheye lens has a wide field-of-views, it causes a large distortion to the sky images. Therefore, this paper calculated the exchange ratio of sky images to consider a lens distortion. As results of the study, there was a difference of 7% to cloud area ratio F4 and F11. Also, it had a different result depending on the position of the cloud.

  • Purpose: This study aims to design and verify an onsite EEWS that extracts the P-wave from a single seismic station and deduce the PGV. Method: The P-wave properties of Pd, Pv, and Pa were calculated by using 12 seismic waveform data extracted from historic seismic records in Korea, and the PGVs were computed using empirical equation on the P properties - PGV relationship and compared with the observed values. Results: Comparison of the observed and estimated PGVs within the alarm level shows the error rate of 86.7% as minimum. By reducing the PTW to 2 seconds, the alarm time can be shortened by 1 second and the seismic blind zone near the epicenter can be shortened by 6 Km. Conclusion: Through this study, we confirmed the availability of the on-site EEWS in Korea. For practical use, it is necessary to develop regression formula and algorithm reflect local effect in Korea by increasing the number of seismic waveform data through continuous observation, and to eliminate the noise from the site.

  • In this paper, TMC (Tracker Motion Controller) as one of the many research methods for condensing efficiency improvements can be condensed into efficient solar system configuration to improve the power generation efficiency of the castle with Concentrated solar silicon and photovoltaic systems (CPV)experiments using PV systems. Microprocessor used on the solar system, tracing the development of solar altitude and latitude of each is calculated in real time. Also accept the value from the sensor, motor control and communication with the central control system by calculating the value of the current position of the sun, there is a growing burden on the applicability. Through the way the program is appropriate for solar power systems and sensors hybrid-type algorithm was implemented in the ARM core with built-in TMC, Concentrated CPV system compared to the existing PV systems, through the implementation of the TMC in the country's power generation efficiency compared and analyzed. Sensor method using existing experimental results Concentrated solar power systems to communicate the value of GPS location tracking method hybrid solar horizons in the coordinate system of the sun's azimuth and elevation angles calculated by the program in the calculations of astronomy through experimental resultslook clear day at high solar irradiation were shown to have a large difference. Stopped after a certain period of time, the sun appears in the blind spot of the sensor, the sensor error that can occur from climate change, however, do not have a cloudy and clear day solar radiation sensor does not keep track of the position of the sun, rather than the sensor of excellence could be found. It is expected that research is constantly needed for the system with ongoing research for development of solar cell efficiency increases to reduce the production cost of power generation, high efficiency condensing type according to the change of climate with the optimal development of the ability TMC.
