  • Despite is product that ship, vehicles, development equipment and Metal Bearing for plant equipment that is mass-produced by present domestic companies Cast White Metal Lining Bearing that is Bimetal Bearing standing 2 generation is accomplishing master and servant and this is foreseen to be used widely on industry whole in hereafter but Cast White Metal Bearing need minuteness processing, while price competitive power is depending on income from superior another thing area than itself manufacture already in advanced nation to lowdown that the technique is generalized widely, when take into account technology change aspect of industrial technology developing country, Go added value creation by deepening of price competition is judged to be difficult hereafter. Because domestic production and supply are wholly lacking almost in Metal Bearing Cladding that take advantage of these technology, Data-base about connection technology is weak with technique and Know-How for product. This research unites Back Steel and Aluminium Alloy different kind metal and make the Clad river studying technology about union of Gogangseong Dacheung metal bearing hereupon.

  • The present study is concerned with the hydrostatic extrusion process of copper-clad aluminum rod through metallurgical joining. In this study, the rigid plastic finite element program, HICKORY, is used to analyze the steady state extrusion process of the bimetal rod. Simulations are performed for copper-clad aluminum rod with several extrusion ratio to give the distributions of effective strain rate, equivalent stress and hardness. Experiments are also carried out for aluminum-inserted copper rod at room temperature. It is found out that finite element predictions are generally in good agreement with the experimental observations. The detail comparison of the extrusion loads by the finite element method with those by experiments are given.

  • The intermetallic compount formation, growth rections, and growth kinetices as functions of the aging temperaturess, time, and the condition of substarte have invedtigted in the Sn/Cu and Sn/Ni bimetal couples. The η'-phase (Cu6Sn5) and $\delta$-phase (Ni3Sn4) were only found to grow at 20 and $70^{\circ}C$in the Sn/Cu and Sn/Ni bimetallic coples repectively. Above that temperatures, all other compounds were formed in sequence of high Sn content plase and the metastable Cu41Sn11 was formed at agend $200^{\circ}C$. The ectivation energy for the growth of intermetallic compounds was 14.7Kxal/mole in the Sn/Cu interface and 26.7Kcal/mole in the Sn/Ni interface.

  • This paper presents the plastic inhomogeneous deformation behavior of bimetal composite rods during the axisymmetric and steady-state extrusion process through a conical die. The rigid-plastic FE model considering frictional contact problem was used to analyze the co-extrusion process with material combinations of Cu/Al. Different cases of initial geometry shape for composite material were simulated under different conditions of co-extrusion process, which includes the interference and frictional conditions. From the simulation results, the sleeve cladding rate at the core/sleeve interface was recorded as a distribution of diameter ratio and interference conditions, which will be useful for the investigations of the bonding process during co-extrusion process. In addition, the results of the co-extrusion, connected with the results of the variations of diameter rate and average contact pressure, demonstrate a good agreement and present the possibility of describing the parameters of the plastic zones in non-uniform deformation of these type of composite materials.

  • As aluminum becomes more widely used in power distribution systems, so the corrosion caused by bimetallic contacts of aluminum and copper becomes more serious problem. In particular, the poor contact of the commonly used compression type bimetal connections may bring about the disastrous interruption of the power supply resulted from the increased corrosion within the joints, which is accelerated by the permeation of water and electrolyte into the interface. In this paper, the corrosion characteristics of aluminum and copper are investigated to improve the reliability of Al-Cu connectons.

  • The plates made of two materials joined to each other having the different coefficient of thermal expansions are frequently encountered in the industrial applications. The stress analysis of these members under the effect of high-temperature variation has great importance in design. In this study, the stress analysis of the experimental model developed for the problem considered here was performed by the method of photothermoelasticity. The thermal strains were formed by the mechanical way and these were fixed by the strain freezing method. For the stress measurements, the method of slicing is applied which provides three-dimensional stress analysis. The analytical solution in the literature was compared with the related stress distribution obtained from the model. Moreover, the axisymmetric finite element model developed for the problem was solved by ABAQUS and the results obtained here compared with those of the experimental model and the analytical solution. As a result of this study, this experimental method and numerical model can be used for these type of thermal stress problems which have not been comprehensively analyzed yet.

  • In this study, 2-mm Al/Cu bimetallic laminates were produced using asymmetric roll bonding (RB) process. The asymmetric RB process was carried out with thickness reduction ratios of 10%, 20% and 30% and mismatch rolling speeds 1:1, 1:1.1 and 1:1.2, separately. For various experimental conditions, finite element simulation was used to model the deformation of bimetallic Al/Cu laminates. Specific attention was focused on the bonding strength and bonding quality of the interface between Al and Cu layers in the simulation and experiment. The optimization of mismatch rolling speed ratios was obtained for the improvement of the bond strength of bimetallic laminates during the asymmetric RB process. During the finite element simulation, the plastic strain of samples was found to reach the maximum value with a high quality bond for the samples produced with mismatch rolling speed 1:1.2. Moreover, the peeling surfaces of samples around the interface of laminates after the peeling test were studied to investigate the bonding quality by scanning electron microscopy.

  • The high predictive performance of fire detector models is essentially needed to assure the reliability of fire and evacuation modeling in the process of Performance-Based fire safety Design (PBD). The main objective of the present study is to measure input information in order to predictive the accurate activation time of fixed temperature heat detectors adopted in Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) as a representative fire model. To end this, Fire Detector Evaluator (FDE) which could be measured the device properties of detector was used, and the spot-type fixed temperature heat detectors of two thermistor types and one bimetal type were considered as research objectors. Activation temperature and Response Time Index (RTI) of detectors required for the fire modeling were measured, and then the RTI was measured for ceiling jet flow and vertical jet flow in consideration of the install location of detectors. The results of fire modeling using measured device properties were compared and validated with the experimental results of full-scale compartment fires. It was confirmed that, in result, the numerically predicted activation time of detector showed reasonable agreement with the measured activation time.

The main design parameters influencing on deformation pattern are diameter ratio of the composite components and semi-die angle. Efforts are focused on the deformation patterns, velocity gradient, predicted forming load and the end distance through the various simulations. Simulation results indicate that there is an obvious difference of forming pattern with various diameter ratio and semi-die angle. The analysis in this paper is concentrated on the evaluation of the design parameters on the deformation pattern of composite rod.

  • This paper presents improvement of the production process of a unified fuel heater with the help of the performance evaluation system. In order to enhance a starting capability of diesel-engine car, the unified fuel heater is proposed, which consists of main body, upper plate, stopper, lower plate, PTC, screw, bimetal and terminals. In the proposed heater, the sensor is combined with heater body not only to maximize the performance of car but also to reduce the production cost. The performance test chamber is proposed to evaluate the performance of heater. Especially, an effective manufacturing progress for assembling the heater elements can cut down expenses.
