  • This paper considers the problem of identifying the time-invariant parameters of non-linear distributed systems. The parameters, in this paper, are identified by using the EBPOMs (Extended Block Pulse Operational Matrices) which can reduce the burden of operation and the volume of error caused by matrices multiplication.

비선형 지진 해석을 위한 보-기둥 요소 (Beam-Column Element Applicable to Nonlinear Seismic Analysis)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 매우 큰 지진하에 휨 모멘트에 의해서만 항복하는 부재와 휨 모멘트와 축 방향력에 의하여 항복하는 부재를 모델 할 수 있는 보-기둥 요소를 개발하는데 있다. 이 요소는 직렬 힌지 모델 (one-component series hinge model)로 간주 될 수 있으며, 축 방향 강성도 변화와 축 방향 소성 변형을 고려 할 수 있고 또한 단조, 주기, 임의 하중 등을 적절히 모델 할 수 있는 경화 법칙 (hardening rules)을 고려한다. 일반적으로 이 요소는 실험 결과 및 화이버 모델 (fiber model)에 비교하여 볼 때 기존의 이직선 힌지 모델 (bilinear hinge model)보다 우수한 거동을 보였고 모멘트 저항 뼈대 구조물의 강 부재의 보-기둥 거동을 적절하게 모델 할 수 있었다. 개발된 보-기둥 요소는 지진 하중하에서 구조물의 전체적인 거동과 설계에 필요한 국부 변형량을 기존의 이직선 힌지 모델 보다 매우 정확하게 예측 할 수 있다.

  • A method is developed for the detection of parametric change for conditionally-linear stochastic systems. Such systems are quite prevalent in biology, economics and engineering, and may be synthesized as certain bilinear stochastic systems with output feedback (possibly nonlinear) through the controls. In other words, these systems are linear in the "unmeasured states" and nonlinear in the "measured states." The conditionally linear filter developed by Kolodziej forms a convenient part of the algorithm which estimates the time of change of parameter values.

  • 본 논문은 불확실성을 포함한 비선형 시스템에 대한 제어를 위해 강인 지능형 디지털 재설계의 전 역적 접근 방안에 대해 제안하고자 한다. 이산화를 통한 제어기 설계에 있어서 불확실성이 포함된 실시간 비선형 시스템에 대해 보다 효율적이고 안정적인 접근을 위해 T-S 퍼지 모델이 사용되었다. 그리고 전역적 접근을 위한 방안으로서 문제를 볼록 최적화 관점으로 변환 후, 오차가 가질 수 있는 놈의 영역을 최소화 하여 상태 접합을 이루고자 하였다. 또한 쌍선형과 역 쌍선형 기법을 사용함으로써 불확실성이 포함된 비선형 시스템을 보다. 더 정확하게 분석하였다. 샘플링 기간이 충분히 작다면, 불확실 비선형 시스템의 실시간 시스템으로의 전환이 충분한 이유를 가지게 된다. 전 역적 접근을 통한 디지털로 제어된 시스템은 선형 행렬 부등식 형태로 바꾸어 시스템의 안정성을 보장하고자 하였다. 마지막으로 T-S 퍼지 모델로 분석된 혼돈 Lorenz system에 적용함으로써 제안된 방법의 안정성과 효율성을 확인한다.

샘플링시간에 대한 근사 샘플치 비선형 관측기 (On time-wise approximate nonlinear observer for sampled-data nonlinear systems)

  • By utilizing the interinsic structure of the underlying continous-time nonlinear system, one can design an approximate sampled-data observer improved with respect ot the sampling-time for the systems. In this paper, we characterize the conditions for the solvability of the improved approximate sampled-data nonlinear observer design problem. In particular, it is shown that when the dimension of the state space is two, the nonlinear systems for which it is possible ot desing 3rd or higher order approximate sampled-data nonlinear observer are locally state-equivalent to an observable bilinear system. The practical implication is that seeking higher order approximate sampled-data nonlinear observer for nonlinear systems is very restricted.

양실 시스템의 시간영역에서의 특성 (Properties of positive real systems in time domain)

  • This paper provides some properties of positive real systems in time domain. It is well-known that a positive real system and a bounded real system are closely related by bilinear transform in a frequency domain. By using supply rate and storage function, we show that a positive real system can be transformed into a bounded real system, and that a positive real system can be transformed into another positive real system with in a time domain. Also, we show that an ESPR(extended strictly positive real) system can be decomposed into a feedback system of lossless positive real system and another ESPR system. These results may be used to design an output feedback controller for mixed H$H_2$ESPR problem.

  • 본 연구에서는 쌍선형 함수를 이용하여 연속시스템의 상태공간에서 설계된 폐 루우프계로 부터 이산시스템의 피이드백 게인행렬을 얻을 수 있는 디지탈재설계법이 제안 되었고, 크레인의 실시간 제어를 통해 본 연구에서 제안된 디지탈 재설계법의 유 효성을 확인했다.

Impact of time and frequency domain ground motion modification on the response of a SDOF system

  • Ground motion modification is extensively used in seismic design of civil infrastructure, especially where few or no recorded ground motions representative of the design scenario are available. A site in Los Angeles, California is used as a study site and 28 ground motions consistent with the design earthquake scenario are selected. The suite of 28 ground motions is scaled and modified in the time domain (TD) and frequency domain (FD) before being used as input to a bilinear SDOF system. The median structural responses to the suites of scaled, TD-modified, and FD-modified motions, along with ratios of he modified-to-scaled responses, are investigated for SDOF systems with different periods, strength ratios, and post-yield stiffness ratios. Overall, little difference (less than 20%) is observed in the peak structural accelerations, velocities, and displacements; displacement ductility; and absolute accelerations caused by the TD-modified and FD-modified motions when compared to the responses caused by the scaled motions. The energy absorbed by the system when the modified motions are used as input is more than 20% greater than when scaled motions are used as input. The observed trends in the structural response are predominantly the result of changes in the ground motion characteristics caused by modification.

마찰진자시스템의 강성중심 변화에 따른 면진된 원전 구조물의 지진응답평가 (Seismic Response Evaluation of Seismically Isolated Nuclear Power Plant with Stiffness Center Change of Friction Pendulum Systems)

  • In order to improve the seismic performance of structures, friction pendulum system (FPS) is the most commonly used seismic isolation device in addition to lead rubber bearing (LRB) in high seismicity area. In a nuclear power plant (NPP) with a large self weight, it is necessary to install a large number of seismic isolation devices, and the position of the center of rigidity varies depending on the arrangement of the seismic isolation devices. Due to the increase in the eccentricity, which is the difference between the center of gravity of the nuclear structure and the center of stiffness of the seismic isolators, an excessive seismic response may occur which could not be considered at the design stage. Three different types of eccentricity models (CASE 1, CASE 2, and CASE 3) were used for seismic response evaluation of seismically isolated NPP due to the increase of eccentricity (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%). The analytical model of the seismic isolation system was compared using the equivalent linear model and the bilinear model. From the results of the seismic response of the seismically isolated NPP with increasing eccentricity, it can be observed that the effect of eccentricity on the seismic response for the equivalent linear model is larger than that for the bilinear model.

An improved Multi-server Authentication Scheme for Distributed Mobile Cloud Computing Services

  • Mobile cloud computing (MCC) has revolutionized the way in which the services can be obtained from the cloud service providers. Manifold increase in the number of mobile devices and subscribers in MCC has further enhanced the need of an efficient and robust authentication solution. Earlier, the subscribers could get cloud-computing services from the cloud service providers only after having consulted the trusted third party. Recently, Tsai and Lo has proposed a multi-server authenticated key agreement solution for MCC based on bilinear pairing, to eliminate the trusted third party for mutual authentication. The scheme has been novel as far as the minimization of trusted party involvement in authenticating the user and service provider, is concerned. However, the Tsai and Lo scheme has been found vulnerable to server spoofing attack (misrepresentation attack), de-synchronization attack and denial-of-service attack, which renders the scheme unsuitable for practical deployment in different wireless mobile access networks. Therefore, we have proposed an improved model based on bilinear pairing, countering the identified threats posed to Tsai and Lo scheme. Besides, the proposed work also demonstrates performance evaluation and formal security analysis.
