Multi-field Coupling Simulation and Experimental Study on Transformer Vibration Caused by DC Bias

  • DC bias will cause abnormal vibration of transformers. Aiming at such a problem, transformer vibration affected by DC bias has been studied combined with transformer core and winding vibration mechanism use multi-physical field simulation software COMSOL in this paper. Furthermore the coupling model of electromagnetic-structural force field has been established, and the variation pattern of inner flux density, distribution of mechanical stress, tension and displacement were analyzed based on the coupling model. Finally, an experiment platform has been built up which was employed to verify the correctness of model.

PWR 가압기의 계측장치 고장 진단에 관한 연구 (A Study of Instrument Failure Detection in PWR Pressurizer)

  • The identification problem of instrument faults in PWR pressurizer is considered. The instrument failure detection technique in this paper consists of two filters, a normal-mode Kalman filter which estimates plant states in normal operation and a bias estimator which estimates the magnitudes and directions of bias faults. The concept of threshold based on the residual of a Kalman filter in normal operation is introduced. The bias estimator is driven when the absolute value of residual exceeds the threshold. The suggested failure detection algorithm is applied to a PWR pressurizer. Computer simulations show that the prompt detection of bias fault can be performed very successfully when there exist instrument faults.

  • Randomized response technique is a survey technique for eliminating evasive answer bias. But this technique has a problem. This procedure suffers from linguistic expression in randomizing device.   • In this paper, reducing lense Vignetting effect and adaptive learning rate method are proposed to complement Scribner's neural network for nuc algorithm which is the effective algorithm in statistic SBNUC algorithm. Proposed reducing vignetting effect method is updated weight and bias each differently using different cost function. Proposed adaptive learning rate for updating weight and bias is using sobel edge detection method, which has good result for boundary condition of image. The ordinary statistic SBNUC algorithm has problem to compensate lense vignetting effect, because statistic algorithm is updated weight and bias by using gradient descent method, so it should not be effective for global weight problem same like, lense vignetting effect. We employ the proposed methods to Scribner's neural network method(NNM) and Torres's reducing ghosting correction for neural network nuc algorithm(improved NNM), and apply it to real-infrared detector image stream. The result of proposed algorithm shows that it has 10dB higher PSNR and 1.5 times faster convergence speed then the improved NNM Algorithm.

최소분산 프로세서를 사용한 정합장 처리에서 신호단편 수에 따른 바이어스의 영향 (Effect of Bias for Snapshots Using Minimum Variance Processor in MFP)

  • 적응 정합장처리에서 어레이의 센서 수보다 부족한 신호단편 수로 표본 공분산행렬을 구성할 경우 행렬 계수의 부족으로 행렬의 역변환에 문제가 발생된다. 이를 해결하기 위해 표본 공분산행렬의 대각성분에 일정한 값을 더하거나 고유분해와 같은 기법을 사용하나, 그 결과로 프로세서 출력에서는 바이어스가 발생된다. 본 논문은 고정음원에서 신호단편의 수에 따른 적응 프로세서 출력의 바이어스와 음원 위치 추정 결과를 고찰하기 위해 표본 공분산행렬의 대각성분에 일정한 값을 첨가하는 방법으로 최소분산 기법을 사용하여 수치실험과 실측 자료를 분석하였다. 그 결과 센서 수보다 많은 신호단편을 사용하는 것이 바이어스가 적으며, 음원 위치 추정에서도 좋은 성능을 보였다.

출구조사의 체계적인 예측 편향에 대한 분석: 2010년 지방선거 출구조사를 중심으로 (Systematic Forecasting Bias of Exit Poll: Analysis of Exit Poll for 2010 Local Elections)

  • 본 연구에서는 선거 출구조사에서 발생하는 편향을 분석하기 위해, 먼저 2010년 전국동시지방선거 출구조사의 표본설계와 표본추출오차, 그리고 무응답 현황 및 예측오차 등을 살펴보고, 이를 토대로 출구조사에서 체계적으로 발생하는 지역별 편향 문제를 다루었다. 출구조사에서 발생하는 편향을 통계적으로 검증하기 위해 Martin et al.(2005)이 제안한 예측 정확성 척도인 통계량 A를 사용하였다. 2010년 지방선거를 포함해 2006년 지방선거와 2007년 대통령 선거 방송사 출구조사 자료를 토대로 시 도 단위에서 지역별 편향을 분석해 본 결과, 여당 성향이 강한 지역에서는 여당 후보를 과대 추정하는 편향이 체계적으로 발생하고 있으며, 여당 성향이 강해질수록 이런 편향이 더 강해진다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이런 연구결과는 향후 출구조사의 정확성 제고를 위한 방안을 모색하는 데 크게 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • By the use of he DSP and microprocessor controller many high power converter such as especially inverter and motor drive system may be enhanced resulting in the improved robustness of EMI the ability to communicate the operating conditions and the ease of adjusting the control parameters. However the digital controller using DSP or microprocessor has not been applied in the high frequency switching power supplies especially in full bridge dc/dc converters. this paper presents a promising solution to the dc bias control problem of high frequency transformer in high power full bridge converter.

  • The problem of testing for a change in the parameter of a stochastic process is particularly important in simulation studies. In studies of the steady state characteristics of a simulation model, it is important to identify initialization bias and to evaluate efforts to control this problem. A simulation output have the characteristics of chaotic behavior because of sensitive dependence on initial conditions. For that reason, we will apply Lyapunov exponent for diagnosis of chaotic motion to simulation output analysis. This paper proposes two methods for diagnosis of steady state in simulation output. In order to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of these methods using chaos theory, M/M/I(.inf.) queueing model is used for testing point estimator, average bias.

Bearing-only Localization of GNSS Interference using Iterated Consider Extended Kalman Filter

  • In this paper, the Iterated Consider Extended Kalman Filter (ICEKF) is proposed for bearing-only localization of GNSS interference to improve the estimation performance and filter consistency. The ICEKF is an extended version of Consider KF (CKF) for Iterated EKF (IEKF) to consider an effect of bearing measurement bias error to filter covariance. The ICEKF can mitigate the EKF divergence problem which can occur when linearizing the nonlinear bearing measurement by a large initial state error. Also, it can mitigate filter inconsistency problem of EKF and IEKF which can occur when a weakly observable bearing measurement bias error state is not included in filter state vector. The simulation result shows that the localization error of the ICEKF is smaller than the EKF and IEKF, and the Root Mean Square (RMS) estimation error of ICEKF matches the covariance of filter.

Estimating the AUC of the MROC curve in the presence of measurement errors

  • Collection of data on several variables, especially in the field of medicine, results in the problem of measurement errors. The presence of such measurement errors may influence the outcomes or estimates of the parameter in the model. In classification scenario, the presence of measurement errors will affect the intrinsic cum summary measures of Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve. In the context of ROC curve, only a few researchers have attempted to study the problem of measurement errors in estimating the area under their respective ROC curves in the framework of univariate setup. In this paper, we work on the estimation of area under the multivariate ROC curve in the presence of measurement errors. The proposed work is supported with a real dataset and simulation studies. Results show that the proposed bias-corrected estimator helps in correcting the AUC with minimum bias and minimum mean square error.
