  • 스트레스가 많은 사회에 사는 현대인은 신체의 면역력이 저하되어 그 여파로 국민의료비가 눈에 띄게 증가하고 있다. 약과 수술에 의한 서양의학도 그 권위가 점점 떨어지게 되었고 여기서 새삼스레 근래에 와서는 삼림(森林)이 갖는 쾌적성 증진효과나 치유효과에 관심이 쏠려 있어 삼림요법(森林療法)의 발전을 위한 몇 가지 과제를 여기에서 생각해보고자 한다.

여대생의 인터넷 생식건강정보 탐색에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 (Factors Affecting Female College Students' Reproductive Health Information Seeking Behaviors on the Internet)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 여대생들의 생식건강정보 탐색행위에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고 그 관계성을 살펴보는 것이다. 건강신념모델(HBM)과 계획된행동이론(TPB)을 기반으로 지각된 민감성, 지각된 심각성, 지각된 이익, 지각된 장애, 주관적 규범, 지각된 행동통제, 감정적 평가를 주요 요인으로 정의하고 연구를 설계하였다. 대학생 온라인 커뮤니티인 '에브리타임'을 통해 서울 소재 4년제 대학교의 여대생을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하여 데이터를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 여대생들은 지각된 민감성, 지각된 이익, 주관적 규범이 높을수록, 반면에 지각된 장애는 낮을수록, 인터넷을 통해 생식건강정보를 탐색할 의도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 여대생들의 인터넷 생식건강 탐색에 영향을 미치는 요인들은 여대생들의 성경험 유무, 생식기계 질환 경험 유무, 건강관심도 등에 따른 그룹 간의 차이를 보이기도 했다. 본 연구결과는 여대생들을 대상으로 하는 대학도서관이나 보건기관 등이 온라인 건강정보 문해교육이나 관련 서비스 프로그램을 개발하는데 있어 여대생들의 생식건강 인식 정도를 파악하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

아웃도어 웨어 추구혜택에 따른 의복선택기준과 구매만족도에 관한 연구 (Study on the Clothing Selection Criteria and Purchasing Satisfaction according to the Outdoor Wear Benefit)

  • This study made an analysis on the relation and influence between outdoor wear benefit, clothing selection criteria and purchasing satisfaction. Survey was conducted targeting 20s-30s males and females who have experience of purchasing outdoor wear and 335 sheets of questionnaire were used for final analysis. And statistics package SPSS16.0 was used for analysis of collected materials. A group seeking the trendy brand turned out to give considerable thought to the brand and trend and purchase less than 100,000won at the discount outlet. A group pursuing functional practicality puts an emphasis on the activity and use, and purchases at the internet shopping mall or department store. Regarding material, function, design, style and color as important, a group pursuing individuality and appearance turned out to purchase clothing at various places such as discount outlet, specialty store and internet. A group that is indifferent to clothing appeared not to care about specific elements when selecting outdoor wear. The result of study showed that consumers of outdoor wear show purchasing satisfaction in respect of design, style, color or trend.

종합건강 피검진자의 건강증진 행위와 관련요인 (Health-Promotion Behavior and its correlates of Individuals Seeking Comprehensive Health Check-ups)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the health promotion behavior and its related factors of persons who wanted a comprehensive health check-up in order to provide a basis for health education to promote health enhancing behavior. Study variables were induced from Pender's Health Promotion Model. The subjects were 160 persons who had a check-up at the health promotion center in a university hospital in Tae-Gu, between September 8 and 22, 1998. The following instruments were used in the study : Lee Tae Wha's Health Promoting Life-style Profile, Park Chai soon's Self-efficacy Instrument and Moon Jeong Soon's Perceived Benefit and Barrier Instrument. Data was collected by self-reporting questionnaire. Analysis of the data was done by SAS program, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson-Correlation Coefficient. The results of this study were as follows. 1. The average score for the health-promotion behavior was 104.64. In the subcategories, self-actualization showed the highest degree of performance and physical exercise showed the lowest degree of performance. 2. In the relation of general characteristics of subjects to the level of health-promoting behavior, the male, the married, the group with several symptoms showed a high level of health-promoting behavior. 3. The relationship between the degree of performance in health-promotion behavior and its correlates were as follows: Self-efficacy was positively correlated to health promotion behavior, while the perceived barrier was correlated negatively. But the perceived benefit did not show a significant correlation with health promotion behavior. Results suggest that the development of programs with strategies to strengthen doing physical exercise and concerning health, increase self-efficacy and exclude the barriers to health promotion is recommended to individuals seeking a comprehensive health check-up.

중소기업 환경에서의 합목적적 정보시스템 활용을 위한 최종사용자 피드백 탐색행위의 중요성 (Importance of End User's Feedback Seeking Behavior for Faithful Appropriation of Information Systems in Small and Medium Enterprises)

  • Small-and-medium sized enterprises(SMEs) represent quite a large proportion of the industry as a whole in terms of the number of enterprises or employees. However researches on information system so far have focused on large companies, probably because SMEs were not so active in introducing information systems as larger enterprises. SMEs are now increasingly bringing in information systems such as ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning Systems) and some of the companies already entered the stage of ongoing use. Accordingly, researches should deal with the use of information systems by SME s operating under different conditions from large companies. This study examined factors and mechanism inducing faithful appropriation of information systems, in particular integrative systems such as ERP, in view of individuals` active feedback-seeking behavior. There are three factors expected to affect end users` feedback-seeking behavior for faithful appropriation of information systems. They are management support, peer IT champ support, and IT staff support. The main focus of the study is on how these factors affect feedback-seeking behavior and whether the feedback-seeking behavior plays the role of mediator for realizing faithful appropriation of information systems by end users. To examine the research model and the hypotheses, this study employed an empirical method based on a field survey. The survey used measurements mostly employed and verified by previous researches, while some of the measurements had gone through minor modifications for the purpose of the study. The survey respondents are individual employees of SMEs that have been using ERP for one year or longer. To prevent common method bias, Task-Technology Fit items used as the control variable were made to be answered by different respondents. In total, 127 pairs of valid questionnaires were collected and used for the analysis. The PLS(Partial Least Squares) approach to structural equation modeling(PLS-Graph v.3.0) was used as our data analysis strategy because of its ability to model both formative and reflective latent constructs under small-and medium-size samples. The analysis shows Reliability, Construct Validity and Discriminant Validity are appropriate. The path analysis results are as follows; first, the more there is peer IT champ support, the more the end user is likely to show feedback-seeking behavior(path-coefficient=0.230, t=2.28, p<0.05). In other words, if colleagues proficient in information system use recognize the importance of their help, pass on what they have found to be an effective way of using the system or correct others' misuse, ordinary end users will be able to seek feedback on the faithfulness of their appropriation of information system without hesitation, because they know the convenience of getting help. Second, management support encourages ordinary end users to seek more feedback(path-coefficient=0.271, t=3.06, p<0.01) by affecting the end users' perceived value of feedback(path-coefficient=0.401, t=6.01, p<0.01). Management support is far more influential than other factors that when the management of an SME well understands the benefit of ERP, promotes its faithful appropriation and pays attention to employees' satisfaction with the system, employees will make deliberate efforts for faithful appropriation of the system. However, the third factor, IT staff support was found not to be conducive to feedback-seeking behavior from end users(path-coefficient=0.174, t=1.83). This is partly attributable to the fundamental reason that there is little support for end users from IT staff in SMEs. Even when IT staff provides support, end users may find it less important than that from coworkers more familiar with the end users' job. Meanwhile, the more end users seek feedback and attempt to find ways of faithful appropriation of information systems, the more likely the users will be able to deploy the system according to the purpose the system was originally meant for(path-coefficient=0.35, t=2.88, p<0.01). Finally, the mediation effect analysis confirmed the mediation effect of feedback-seeking behavior. By confirming the mediation effect of feedback-seeking behavior, this study draws attention to the importance of feedback-seeking behavior that has long been overlooked in research about information system use. This study also explores the factors that promote feedback-seeking behavior which in result could affect end user`s faithful appropriation of information systems. In addition, this study provides insight about which inducements or resources SMEs should offer to promote individual users' feedback-seeking behavior when formal and sufficient support from IT staff or an outside information system provider is hardly expected. As the study results show, under the business environment of SMEs, help from skilled colleagues and the management plays a critical role. Therefore, SMEs should seriously consider how to utilize skilled peer information system users, while the management should pay keen attention to end users and support them to make the most of information systems.

국내 건축주 분류 및 유형별 태도·행동 조사 - 개인 건축주 대상 연구 보완 - (Classifying Building Industry Clients and Investigating Their Attitude and Behavior - Supplement Research on Individual Clients -)

  • This paper discusses issues faced by individual building industry clients. These form the majority of clients but, because they do not possess high purchasing power, they attract less attention in the industry. Given that key decisions on project definition and procurement strategy are made at the pre-project stage, the industry would benefit from knowing relevant aspects of its clients' attitudes and behaviors, so that it can support them. There is a lack of research on this subject, and so we first describe a theoretical framework and research methodology that were developed for this specific group of clients. Theory adopted from consumer behavioral research was introduced to develop a general behavioral model of individual clients. In this model, individual clients are assumed to seek and then process information after acknowledging normative activities. To validate our model, a field survey was conducted using randomly selected individual clients. Their opinions on the importance and difficulty of 12 normative activities were analysed to establish a general attitude. Information seeking behaviour was investigated by measuring the frequency and type of source that they contacted to conduct the normative activities. The attitudes and information seeking behaviour presented in this research will contribute to the development of project tools for supporting these clients.

Causes of Delay in Seeking Treatment in Patients with Breast Cancer in Iran: a Qualitative Content Analysis Study

  • Background: In the Middle East, including Iran, breast cancer is the most frequent malignancy among women. Without treatment, a malignant breast tumor advances in stage, diminishing a woman's chances of survival. In this study we aimed to gain insight into the causes of delay in seeking treatment in patients with breast cancer. Methods: The participants in this qualitative, content analysis study were 10 women in whom a diagnosis of breast cancer in the stages of II b, III or IIV had been made. They were selected from patients of a major oncology clinic in Kerman, Iran. Data were collected by means of semi-structured interviews that lasted between 20 to 30 minutes. Sampling was discontinued when data saturation was achieved. Content analysis was conducted by classifying the data into themes and sub-themes. Results: The results of our study revealed several factors that interfered with patients' professional consultation seeking and prompt treatment. These factors included; lack of knowledge, fear of being diagnosed with cancer, not seeing oneself at risk, mental preoccupation and wrong diagnosis by physicians. Conclusions: This study suggests that women and even physicians need further information about breast cancer symptoms. Women need encouragement to seek medical advice when they encounter suspicious symptoms. Additionally, women may benefit from awareness of the pros of early detection and reassurance about the improvements in the success of breast cancer treatment.

뷰티왁싱 요법에 대한 추구혜택이 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Pursuit Benefit of Beauty Waxing on Reuse Intention)

  • 본 연구는 성인 남,녀를 대상으로 소프트 왁싱, 하드 왁싱 슈가링에 대한 추구혜택이 재이용의도에 미치는 영향에 대해서 알아 보는 것에 목적이 있으며 이를 통해 왁싱을 처음 접하는 일반인들에게 유용한 정보가 되는 것에 연구의 의의가 있다. 연구방법으로는 부산과 영남권에 거주하는 17세 ~ 40대 왁싱 경험이 있는 남,녀 422명을 대상으로 연구자가 직접 설문을 진행하였으며 분석방법은 교차분석, 독릭표본 t-검정, 상관분석, 선형회귀분석, 복수응답은 Multiple response test를 이용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과에서는 왁싱 추구혜택이 재이용의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 결과를 살펴보면 부위별 왁싱 추구 점수, 왁싱 혜택 총 점수(r=0.389, p<0.001) 및 재이용의도 총 점수(r=0.214, p>0.001)와 유의한 양의 상관성을 보였으며, 부위별 왁싱추구혜택 및 재이용의도의 관련성을 보면 바디(팔, 다리)를 제외 한 항목들을 유의한 양의 관련성을 나타내었다. 왁싱 추구혜택이 재이용의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 결과를 살펴보면 페이스 왁싱, 브라질리언 왁싱 및 왁싱 혜택 총 점수 모두 재이용의도에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 연구의 내용을 통해 아직 슈가링의 인지도는 낮으나 호의적인 감정 및 재이용의도가 높고 예민한 부위일수록 추구하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서, 왁싱을 접하는 소비자들에게 유용한 정보를 제공하고 향후 왁싱 관련 연구의 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Qualitative Study on the Benefit Sought and Brand Loyalty by Product Category of the Luxury Goods Through In-depth Interviews with Professionals in Fashion Industry

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the benefits sought by luxury good customers contingent on product category, and to understand the relationship between the benefits sought and brand loyalty. A qualitative approach was used; therefore in-depth interviews were conducted with seven panels of professionals in the luxury industry. The findings are as follows: 1) Handbag customers mainly seek the social benefits in order to express their social status by purchasing well-known, easily-recognizable brands. 2) Shoe customers primarily seek the practical-functional benefits, which are comfort and function. 3) Small Leather Goods customers seek the social benefits for themselves and as gifts for others. 4) Brand loyalty for handbag customers is reported to be low, as their primary goals are the social benefits. Rather than devoting themselves to one specific brand, handbag customers prefer to purchase from various brands. 5) Shoe customers have reportedly higher brand loyalty, as they tend to come back to brands when they are satisfied with the benefits they pursue. The findings of this study provide more information on the practical implications of luxury good customer purchasing habits. Firstly, customers pursue different benefits depending on product category, and secondly, brand loyalty differs by customers' benefits.

실업자 직업훈련의 효과 추정 (The Estimation of the Effectiveness of Vocational Training for the Unemployed)

  • 본 논문은 실업자 직업훈련사업의 효과를 추정하였다. 주요 결과로서, 구직기간 및 구직 성공률 면에서 전직실업자훈련생이 훈련을 받지 않은 실업자들에 비하여 양호한 결과를 보이고 있으나 취업후 임금수준에서는 유의한 차이를 발견하지 못하였다. 또한 비용 편익분석 결과, 실업훈련을 받지 않은 실직자 그룹에 비해 전직실업자훈련생들의 성과가 높게 나타나고 있다고 볼 수 있으나, 민간우선선정직종 훈련생에 비해 대한상의훈련생의 구직 성과가 높음에도 불구하고 무엇보다 1인당 훈련비용이 높기 때문에 전반적인 훈련성과가 보다 우월하다고 단정하기 어려웠다.
