Thirdly, the analysis of the influence of political reliability on political participation in Hypothesis (3) showed that the higher the political satisfaction and political assessment, the higher the positive participation in politics and negative participation in politics. Fourth, in the analysis of the influence of social sense of belonging on political participation in Hypothesis 4, it was found that the higher the citizens' social belonging awareness, the higher the positive political participation and negative political participation. Therefore, it was found that the higher the political awareness of the citizens, such as their election sense and knowledge about their politicians, the more positive were their political reliability and political participation.

  • To determine the fish fauna and their characteristics of the Sohuksando Island located in the South - Western Sea of Korea, samples were collected from June 1993 to August 1995. 128 species belonging to 59 families and 97 genera were identified. Among them the order Perciformes were about 42.2% of total species, as 54 species belonging to 27 families and 44 genera, and order Scorpaeniformes, 19.5%, as 25 species belonging to 8 families and 15 genera. Besides of these groups, order Pleuronectiformes were about 12.5%, as 16 species belonging to 5 families and 13 genera, and order Tetraodontiformes, 6.3%, as 8 species belonging to 3 families and 4 genera. Cypselurus unicolor, Siganus canaliculutus and Tarphops elegans from Sohuksando Island are reported here as first record species from Korea. The unidentified species were Raja sp., Scorpaenopsis sp., Sebastes sp., Entomacrodus sp. and Psettodes sp.. The economic fishes of this area were Raja kenojei, Sebastes schlegeli, Sebastes thompsoni, Lateolabrax japonicus, Nibea albiflora, Argyrosomus argentatus, Pseudosciaena poliactis, Miichthys miiuy, Mugil cephalus, Paralichthys olivaceus, Cynoglossus joyneri and Cynoglossus semilaevis.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the convergence program using traditional play on the depression, sense of belonging and suicidal ideation in rural elderly women. This study of participants were 42 elderly women aged 65 years old or older in K province(Experimental group= 20, Control group = 22). The data collected from July 17 to August 23, 2017. The experimental group participated in a total of 12 sessions of traditional play program for 50minutes twice a week. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, $x^2$-test, and independent t-test. There were significant differences in depression(t=-4.86, p<.001) and sense of belonging(t=4.611, p<.001) of participants between experimental group and control group after end of the program. Therefore, the program was effective in improving depression and sense of belonging in rural women. We propose further study to confirm the usefulness of the program by expanding the area.

  • This study investigated the pathogenicity of different genotypes of infectious hematopoietic necrosis virus (IHNV) strains isolated from infected rainbow trout in Gangwon Province. RtPc0314c and RtPc0314g strains belonging to the JRt-Shizuoka lineage and RtPc0816g strain belonging to the JRt-Nagano lineage showed 100% cumulative mortality when inoculated at a high titer. In addition, more rapid necrosis was observed in rainbow trout infected with RtPc0314c and RtPc0314g mutations. When inoculated at a low titer, 100% mortality was not observed until the end of the experiment, but the mortality was higher in rainbow trout infected with a mutant strain belonging to the JRt-Shizuoka linage than a mutant strain belonging to the JRt-Nagano lineage. A histopathological analysis showed a clear signature of infection in kidney and spleen tissues upon infection with RtPc0314c and RtPc0314g but no signature of infection associated with the Rt03186 strain. Based on the results in this study, it seems that strains belonging to the JRt-Shizuoka lineage in Gangwon Province IHNV are more pathogenic.

  • Densities and larval food habits of Holotrichia titanis belonging to Melolonthinae, and of Anomala corpulenta and A. mfocuprea belonging to Rutelinae, collected from surroundings of ginseng fields, were investigated to determine potentia]s as ginseng pests in scarabaeids. H. titanis had similar food habit to the ginseng pests, H. morosa and H. diomphalia, although the density of H. titanis was relatively low during the period of survey, which indicates that the scarabaeid may have potentials to be a major pest with build-up or the population in the fields. However, A. corpulenta and A. rufacuprea with higher populations than H. morose and H. dicmphalia had no or low potency as ginseng pests since they had little preference to ginseng roots or did not feed on these. The latter two species in Rutelinae showed different food habits in relation to dead organic matter.

  • Social network games (SNGs), a rapidly growing online game genre, are built and played on social network sites. SNGs provide an online world for enjoying leisure time and interpersonal communication, and an increasing numbers of college students are involved in such game-playing as a leisure time activity. Despite the popularity, relatively few studies have been conducted to investigate the nature of game players, especially the meaning of such leisure time behavior by college students. This paper's aim was to explore a subjective meaning structure of online social network game play. The means-end chain model was used to link attributes of SNGs to the underlying values of game playing as a leisure activity. The results revealed two emerging end-values: the need for bridging and a sense of belonging. This study sheds light on the meaning of college students' leisure activities when playing social network games.

  • A fungal survey that targeted the tribe Arachnopezizeae (Hyaloscyphaceae, Helotiales) was conducted in Korea. One variety belonging to Proliferodiscus and one species belonging to Rodwayella are recorded for the first time from Korea. Proliferodiscus inspersus var. magniascus differs from P. earoleucus by its amyloid reaction in ascal apices and larger asci. Rodwayella citrinula is distinguished from other members of the genus by small ascospores and its occurrence on grasses. The descriptions, illustrations and cultural characteristics of the species are provided.
