Despite some practical confusion over the variations in the diagram which may be drawn differently depending upon the CASE, the statechart of UML has been widely used to show the dynamic behaviour of the systems. Prior research has employed either simple switch-case statement or the state design pattern to generate source code from the statechart, which may result in varying source codes. This paper made an attempt to formally define the statechart and generate source codes from it. Firstly we cleaned up the XMI which was generated from different CASEs. This XMI has been translated to the EHA to identify automata contained in it. Then the elements of the statechart metamodel were mapped to the java programs. We also verified the quality of source codes by measuring functionality and maintainability. The case employed in this study was the air conditioner. The reason was that the case includes various states and transitions of interest. It was found that XMI was well extracted by removing some legacy codes in the CASE and the source codes were then successfully generated with the concurrency and hierarchy of the statechart. Further research is required to validate it practical significance with a larger case.
This paper presents the fundamental parameters for designing the NATM Composite Lining to be used in NATM tunnel construction. Firstly, the concept of NATM Composite Lining behaviour is introduced and reviewed in construction-performance. For the fundamental study, the optimal mix ratio tests and backfill material property tests to develop high-quality composite lining (PC panel lining) are fundamentally carried out. And the light-weight foamed mortar which is used for backfill material is developed. Full-scale loading tests to verify a performance of the NATM Composite Lining is also performed. From this research, it is clearly found that the NATM Composite Lining is very applicable method to considerably increase the stability and constructability of tunnel structure.
Laboratory experiments were aimed to evaluate the effect of nitrate as a electron acceptor during the biological phosphorus uptake and to investigate the microbial community. Anaerobic-anoxic sequencing batch reactor (SBR) compared the removal behaviour to anaerobic-oxic SBR, both SBRs maintained lower effluent quality with 1.0 mgp/1. Anaerobic-anoxic SBR was able to remove additional 5.0 to 7.0 mg (P+N)/ι than other biological nutrient removal (BM) system. Therefore, it was proposed that the anaerobic-anoxic SBR was more effective at weak sewage. From the results of the maicrobial community analysis, it can be inferred that denitrifying bacteria and polyphosphate accumulating bacteria coexist in anaerobic-anoxic SBR during stable condition for removing the nitrogen and phosphorus. Particularly, it was suggested that the Zoogloea ramigera in the $\beta$-subclass of proteobacteria and the Alcaligenes defragrans of the Rhodocyclus group in the $\beta$-subclass of proteobacteria played a major role for removing the nitrogen and phosphorus as dPAOs (denitrifying phosphate accumulating organisms).

As increasing demand on marine structures and skyscrapers, a deep shaft pile foundation is more to be used for the place having weak ground strength. Because heavy horizontal force is generally applied on upper part of pile foundation used in civil or architectural construction, steel pile is largely used with its high resistance to shear force and bending moment, and its capability to carry heavy loads. The steel pile has advantage in good constructibility, high applicability on site and easy handing, but has disadvantage in cost, more expensive than other material pile. This study is about the Composite pile that makes economical construction possible by reducing material cost of pile; using steel and PHC pile simultaneously while preserving the advantage of steel pile that large resistance to horizontal force and bending moment. A Non Welding connection method is applied to this composite pile and this method could reduce the cost and period of construction and could increase the quality of construction by solving the problem of current welding method and by improving the workability of pile connection. In this study, characteristics of driveability of non welding composite pile is analyzed prior to main project while the purpose of main project is proving the applicability of Non Welding Composite Pile by conducting various kind of loading test to analyze the characteristics behaviour of Non Welding Composit Pile and by verifying stability of non welding connection pile.
There is a growing trend of considering uncertainty in optimization process since last few decades. In this regard, Robust Design Optimization (RDO) scheme has gained increasing momentum because of its virtue of improving performance of structure by minimizing the variation of performance and ensuring necessary safety and feasibility of constraint under uncertainty. In the present study, RDO of reinforced concrete folded plate and shell structure has been carried out incorporating uncertainty in the relevant parameters by Monte Carlo Simulation. Folded plate and shell structures are among the new generation popular structures often used in aesthetically appealing constructions. However, RDO study of such important structures is observed to be scarce. The optimization problem is formulated as cost minimization problem subjected to the force and displacements constraints considering dead, live and wind load. Then, the RDO is framed by simultaneously optimizing the expected value and the variation of the performance function using weighted sum approach. The robustness in constraint is ensured by adding suitable penalty term and through a target reliability index. The RDO problem is solved by Sequential Quadratic Programming. Subsequently, the results of the RDO are compared with conventional deterministic design approach. The parametric study implies that robust designs can be achieved by sacrificing only small increment in initial cost, but at the same time, considerable quality and guarantee of the structural behaviour can be ensured by the RDO solutions.

Steel Fiber Reinforced Wet-type Shotcrete improves the quality and stabilizes the tunnel by increasing the shear strength of the natural ground by constructing the concrete which attaches the fresh concrete to the predetermined position from the nozzle. The Steel Fiber Reinforced Wet-type Shotcrete improves and reinforces the strength and dynamic behavior characteristics of concrete to suppress the generation and growth of local cracks by increasing the tensile resistance ability. In addition, Steel Fiber Reinforced Wet-type Shotcrete is a shotcrete that improves tensile strength, bending strength, and crack resistance by dispersing discontinuous short steel fibers evenly in concrete. In this study, compressive strength test and bending strength test of shotcrete of NATM tunnel were measured and rebound reduction rate was measured by varying shotcrete putting pressure to 900 RPM, 1,000 RPM, and 1,100 RPM. Therefore, the data that can be applied to domestic NATM tunnel construction are presented.
Objective: Post stroke motor recovery is facilitated by the brain reorganization or the neuroplastic changes. The therapeutic approach mentioned in the current case is one of the approaches for enhancing motor recovery by stimulating the damaged neural networks directing the motor behaviour of a person. The aim of the present study was to establish the changes in the balance and gait pattern of an individual through multi target stimulation of areas of cerebral cortex by utilising multichannel trans cranial direct current stimulation (M-tDCS) in a sub-acute stroke survivor. Design: A Case Report Methods: The present patient was the participant of the trial (CTRI/2021/02/031044).The patient was intervened with M-tDCS (anodes over left primary motor cortex that is C3 point and left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex i.e., F3 point and cathodes over supraorbital areas, Intensity - 1.2mA) for the duration of 20 minutes along with turbo med extern - an AFO to facilitate ankle dorsi flexion and conventional physiotherapy rehabilitation. The Fugl-Meyer assessment lower extremity (FMA-LE), Berg Balance Scale (BBS), Wisconsin Gait Scale (WGS) and the Stroke Specific Quality of Life (SSQOL) measures were used for outcome assessment. Baseline assessment was done on day 0 followed by assessment on 10 and 20 post intervention. Results: Improvement was seen in all the tools i.e. (FMA -LE), BBS, SSQOL and WGS over the time period of 20 days. Conclusions: M-tDCS resulted in improvement in gait parameters, balance and motor functions of lower extremity of the patient.
Objective: Reacquisition of motor functions following stroke depends on interhemispheric neural connections. The intervention highlighted in the present case is an insight for augmenting motor recovery by stimulating the lesioned area and adjacent areas governing the motor behaviour of an individual. The purpose of this study was to determine the changes in the motor and cognitive outcomes through multi target stimulation of cortical areas by application of multichannel transcranial direct current stimulation (M-tDCS) in a stroke survivor. Design: A case report. Methods: The patient was a participant of a trial registered with the clinical trial registry of India (CTRI/2020/01/022998). The patient was intervened with M-tDCS over the left primary motor cortex i.e. C3 point and left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex i.e. F3 point with 0.5-2 mA intensity for the period of 20 minutes. SaeboFlex-assisted task-oriented training, functional electrical stimulation over the lower extremity (LE) to elicit dorsiflexion at the ankle and eversion of the foot, and conventional physiotherapy rehabilitation including a tailored exercise program were performed. Outcome assessment was done using the Fugl-Meyer assessment scale (FMA) for the upper and lower extremity (UE and LE), Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA), Wisconsin Gait Scale (WGS) and the Stroke Specific Quality of Life (SSQOL) measures. Assessment was taken at Day 0, 15 and 30 post intervention. Results: Improvement was observed in all the outcome measures i.e FMA (UE and LE), MOCA, SSQOL and WGS across the span of 4 weeks. Conclusions: M-tDCS induced improvement in motor functions of the UE and LE, gait parameters and cognitive functions of the patient.

Pre-stressed concrete circular spun piles are widely used in various infrastructure projects around the world and offer an economical deep foundation system with consistent and superior quality compared to cast in-situ and other concrete piles. Conventional methods for measuring the lateral response of piles have been limited to conventional instrumentation, such as electrical based gauges and pressure transducers. The problem with existing technology is that the sensors are not able to assist in recording the lateral stiffness changes of the pile which varies along the length depending on the distribution of the flexural moments and appearance of tensile cracks. This paper describes a full-scale bending test of a 1-m diameter spun pile of 30 m long and instrumented using advanced fibre optic distributed sensor, known as Brillouin Optical Time Domain Analysis (BOTDA). Optical fibre sensors were embedded inside the concrete during the manufacturing stage and attached on the concrete surface in order to measure the pile's full-length flexural behaviour under the prescribed serviceability and ultimate limit state. The relationship between moments-deflections and bending moments-curvatures are examined with respect to the lateral forces. Tensile cracks were measured and compared with the peak strains observed from BOTDA data which corroborated very well. By analysing the moment-curvature response of the pile, the structure can be represented by two bending stiffness parameters, namely the pre-yield (EI) and post-yield (EIcr), where the cracks reduce the stiffness property by 89%. The pile deflection profile can be attained from optical fibre data through closed-form solutions, which generally matched with the displacements recorded by Linear Voltage Displacement Transducers (LVDTs).

The use of skim milk is a strategy to increase goat milk yogurt acceptability. However, it can negatively affect yogurt rheology because fat plays a vital role in dairy structural integrity. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the effects of fat replacers on the rheological, physical, and sensory parameters of low-fat cupuassu goat milk yogurts during refrigerated storage (28 days). Five goat milk yogurts formulations were carried out: whole yogurt (WY), skim yogurt (SY), skim yogurt with inulin (SIY), skim yogurt with maltodextrin (SMY), and skim yogurt with whey protein (SWY). Treatments were subjected to bacterial counts, chemical composition, pH, water holding capacity, instrumental color and texture, rheological and sensory analyses. All samples showed reducing pH values, water holding capacity, and L* and b* value during storage. Regarding texture, the firmness and consistency decreased during storage. On the other hand, the viscosity index significantly increased during refrigerated storage time. Moreover, all treatments exhibited viscoelastic behaviour. In addition, SIY and SMY showed the highest apparent viscosity. Furthermore, SIY, SMY, and SWY formulations exhibited positive sensory scores for appearance, color, aroma, texture, and viscosity. However, the overall acceptability and purchase intention did not differ statistically between WY and the fat-replacement treatments (SIY, SMY, and SWY). These results indicate that fat substitutes improved the quality of skimmed formulations. Thus, inulin and maltodextrin have the potential as functional fat replaces to produce low-fat goat milk yogurts.
