The Influence of the Corporation Association of Korean Buffet Restaurant on Relationship Quality and Brand Loyalty (모기업에 대한 기업연상이 한식뷔페레스토랑의 관계품질과 브랜드충성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study aimed at examining the interrelationships among corporate association, Rrelationship quality, and brand loyalty in Korean buffet restaurants. In addition, this study examined the mediating effects of commitment and attidudinal loyalty. The findings of this study were found through the employong of SPSS 18.0 on a convenience sample of a total of 209 respondents. The results of this study are as follows. First, both corporate ability association and corporate social responsibility association exhibited a positive impact on trust and commitment. Second, trust and commitment positively influenced attitudinal loyalty and behavioral loyalty. Third, commitment acted in a partial mediating role between trust and attitudinal loyalty, and attitudinal loyalty acted in a partial mediating role between commitment and behavioral loyalty.

The Effects of Fashion Blog Features on Commitment, Satisfaction and Word-of-Mouth Intention (패션블로그의 특성이 몰입, 만족 및 구전의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is to understand the effects of fashion blog features on commitment, satisfaction, and Word-of-Mouth intention due to the interest shown by fashion companies on fashion blogs as new marketing communication strategies. The survey was conducted from April $23^{rd}$ to May $2^{nd}$, 2011 and all 300 respondents had visited fashion blogs. The results of this study are described below. First, the study finds that fashion blog features have five dimensions; interactivity, information reliability, convenience of information access, reputation, and intimacy. Commitment consists of behavioral commitment and emotional commitment, and satisfaction consists of two dimensions; information satisfaction and usage satisfaction. Second, behavioral commitment, is positively influenced by all fashion blog features (except for the negative effect on interactivity). Blog features have a positive impact on emotional commitment (except for negative impact on reputation). Third, information satisfaction is influenced by all fashion blog features; however, usage satisfaction is influenced only by interactivity, reputation, and intimacy. Fourth, Word-of-Mouth intention is influenced by all commitment and satisfaction dimensions. The results of this study will help fashion companies use fashion blogs as marketing communication tools.

  • The main purpose of this study is to empirically investigate determinants affecting MICE quality, which then affects to loyalty. In particular, this study focuses on variables in the exhibition and event experiences of the MICE participants. The proposed research includes four variables representing the exhibitions and event experiences (affective, intellectual, behavioral, relational experience), two MICE qualities (commitment, satisfaction), and MICE loyalty. The results of this study reveal that four proposed variables (affective, intellectual, behavioral and relational experience) have a positive impact on two MICE qualities (commitment and satisfaction). Furthermore, the study found that commitment and satisfaction positively influence MICE loyalty. The findings of the study would provide theoretical and practical implications of exhibition and event experiences, quality and loyalty of MICE.

  • Many terminally ill cancer patients grapple with a range of physical, psychological, and social challenges. Therefore, it is critical to offer effective psychological interventions to assist them in managing these issues and enhancing their quality of life. This brief communication provides a concise overview of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), along with empirical evidence of its application for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals in hospice and palliative care settings and an overview of future directions of ACT interventions in South Korea. ACT, a third-wave type of cognitive behavioral therapy, is a model of psychological flexibility that promotes personal growth and empowerment across all life areas. Currently, there is substantial evidence from overseas supporting the effectiveness of ACT on health-related outcomes among patients with various diseases, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. The necessity and significance of conducting ACT-based empirical research in hospice and palliative care settings in South Korea are discussed.

A Study on the Effect of Corporate Association of the Hypermarket on Relationship Quality and Customer Loyalty

  • Purpose: Using the association concept as a basis, businesses offer association cues-trademarks and logos, for example-to support consumers' associative memories. These stimuli can be connected to anything, including a product's unique personality or the advantages it offers the company that made it. The purpose of this study is to comprehend how hypermarkets' business affiliation, relationship commitment, and trust affect consumers' attitudes and behaviors. Data, methodology, and research design: Regression analysis was used in this study to confirm the relationship between the independent and dependent variables, as well as to forecast how the changes in the independent variable would affect the changes in the dependent variable. Results: These are the findings of the research. First, it was discovered that trust and relationship commitment were significantly impacted by the hypermarket product association, corporate management-related associations, and social responsibility associations. Second, it was discovered that both behavioral and attitudinal loyalty were impacted by hypermarkets' level of trust. Third, it was discovered that both behavioral and attitudinal loyalty were impacted by a hypermarket's relationship commitment. Conclusions: Corporate associations with the hypermarket play an important role in shaping and maintaining consumers' awareness of the company or brand. Since this is affected by various factors such quality of products and services, and corporate social activities, companies need to positively induce awareness of products or services.

Verification on the Relationship of Sport Commitment and re-participation intension in Marine Sports Participant (해양스포츠 동호인의 운동몰입과 재참여의도의 관계 검증)

  • The purpose of this research is to define the relationship of sport commitment and re-participation intension in marine sports participant. For the purposes of this study, yachting, windsurfing, scuba diving, and mariner sports canoe total of 200 targets the participants involved in the survey. The results of exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis to analyze the construct validity and internal consistency were found to comply with the standard. Therefore, as a result of the correlation and regression analysis to analyze the relationship between the sport commitment and re-participation intension, the correlation between each variable and showed a positive correlation. Also, cognitive behavioral commitment and engagement of the sport commitment of marine sports enthusiasts was found on both the positive effect on the re-participation intension. As a result, the sport commitment turned out to be an important factor immersed in marine sports participation. In addition, it is believed to be on ways to increase positive emotions in empirical terms.

Effects of Brand Experience in Mass Cosmetic Brand Store on Brand Commitment and Loyalty Among Female High School Students (여고생의 중저가 화장품 점포 내 브랜드체험이 브랜드몰입과 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines the dimensions of brand experience and brand commitment within mass cosmetic brand stores that target female high school students and analyzes the effect of multi-dimension brand experience and brand commitment on brand loyalty. A model linking brand experience to brand commitment and loyalty was tested, using structural equation modeling analysis. A total of 175 female high school students completed the online questionnaire. The current study extended the understandings of the construct of brand commitment by adopting a broadened five-component consumer commitment. The results confirmed that developing brand experience in domestic mass cosmetics brand stores influences consumer loyalty through various types of brand commitment. This study can be beneficial for brand managers by providing guidelines on how to establish consumer loyalty affected by brand experience through brand commitment. Especially, brand managers should consider the negative impacts of forced commitment on consumer loyalty despite brand experience within the stores not influencing teenage consumers' forced commitment toward mass cosmetic brands. The importance of habitual commitment in the relationship between brand experience and loyalty was also revealed. The results can provide a realistic blueprint for consumer brand experience and commitment strategy.

  • We can divide brand experience in the brand community of online blog into the following five types: sensuous experience, emotional experience, cognitive experience, behavioral experience, and relational experience. And this study is aimed at looking into what differences are among the effects those five have on the consumer-brand relationship. Also we wanted to analyse empirically what structural relations this consumer-brand relationship through the whole experience has with brand attachment and brand commitment. The outcome shows that emotional experience, cognitive experience and relational experience affect the consumer-brand relationship but sensuous experience and behavioral experience. And our analysis of what structural relations the consumer-brand relationship through brand experience has with brand attachment and brand commitment revealed that the consumer-brand relationship through brand experience has a direct effect on brand attachment but it doesn't have on brand commitment. Brand commitment was confirmed to be affected only through brand attachment. Finally, this is in agreement with the result of the precedent study that brand commitment is an effect variable of brand attachment.

The Impact of Customer Experience on Customer Commitment and Behavioral Intention in Theme Park (테마파크에서의 체험요소가 방문객 몰입과 행동의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the structural relationship between experience(4Es), customer commitment and behavioral intention based on experience of the theme park as a hedonic destination. To carry out this study objective, a survey targeted for theme park customers was conducted from May 10. 2014 to June 10. 2014. These data were processed using SPSS 18.0 and Structural Equation Modeling with Amos 18.0 to test proposed hypotheses. The results are summarized as followed. First, the decomposition of path analysis revealed significant positive effects on customer commitment by entertainment experience, education experience, esthetic experience. and escape experience. While, entertainment experience was shown to have the largest influence on customer commitment. Second, customer commitment had a positive effect on revisit intention and WOM. Third, experiences have an indirect influence on revisit intention and WOM through the mediation of commitment. From the findings, the theme park is necessary to plan and develop experience program for more variable and special.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of human resource flexibility on organizational commitment and to verify the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between human resource flexibility and organizational commitment. In order to achieve this research purpose, a survey was conducted on employees working in the service industry in China, and the results of the analysis are as follows. First, it was found that technological flexibility, behavioral flexibility, and relationship flexibility, which are sub-factors of human resource flexibility, all had a significant positive effect on organizational commitment. Second, as a result of verifying the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between human resource flexibility and organizational commitment, it was verified that self-efficacy has a partial mediating effect in the relationship between technological flexibility, behavioral flexibility, relationship flexibility, and organizational commitment. Finally, the implications of this study were presented and the future research direction was discussed.
