Emerging attacks aim to access proprietary assets and steal data for business or political motives, such as Operation Aurora and Operation Shady RAT. Skilled Intruders would likely remove their traces on targeted hosts, but their network movements, which are continuously recorded by network devices, cannot be easily eliminated by themselves. However, without complete knowledge about both inbound/outbound and internal traffic, it is difficult for security team to unveil hidden traces of intruders. In this paper, we propose an autonomous anomaly detection system based on behavior profiling and relation mining. The single-hop access profiling model employ a novel linear grouping algorithm PSOLGA to create behavior profiles for each individual server application discovered automatically in historical flow analysis. Besides that, the double-hop access relation model utilizes in-memory graph to mine time-sequenced access relations between different server applications. Using the behavior profiles and relation rules, this approach is able to detect possible anomalies and violations in real-time detection. Finally, the experimental results demonstrate that the designed models are promising in terms of accuracy and computational efficiency.
Our paper describes an Intrusion Detection Parallel System(IDPS) which detects an anomaly activity corresponding to the actions that interaction between near detection events. IDES uses parallel inductive approaches regarding the problem of real-time anomaly behavior detection on rule-based system. This approach uses sequential rule that describes user's behavior and characteristics dependent on time. and that audits user's activities by using rule base as data base to store user's behavior pattern. When user's activity deviates significantly from expected behavior described in rule base. anomaly behaviors are recorded. Observed behavior is flagged as a potential intrusion if it deviates significantly from the expected behavior or if it triggers a rule in the parallel inductive system.

This paper studied the detection technique using file DNA-based behavior pattern analysis in order to minimize damage to user system by malicious programs before signature or security patch is released. The file DNA-based detection technique was applied to defend against zero day attack and to minimize false detection, by remedying weaknesses of the conventional network-based packet detection technique and process-based detection technique. For the file DNA-based detection technique, abnormal behaviors of malware were splitted into network-related behaviors and process-related behaviors. This technique was employed to check and block crucial behaviors of process and network behaviors operating in user system, according to the fixed conditions, to analyze the similarity of behavior patterns of malware, based on the file DNA which process behaviors and network behaviors are mixed, and to deal with it rapidly through hazard warning and cut-off.

Feeding is the most important behavior that represents the health and welfare of weanling pigs. The early detection of feed refusal is crucial for the control of disease in the initial stages and the detection of empty feeders for adding feed in a timely manner. This paper proposes a real-time technique for the detection and recognition of small pigs using a deep-leaning-based method. The proposed model focuses on detecting pigs on a feeder in a feeding position. Conventional methods detect pigs and then classify them into different behavior gestures. In contrast, in the proposed method, these two tasks are combined into a single process to detect only feeding behavior to increase the speed of detection. Considering the significant differences between pig behaviors at different sizes, adaptive adjustments are introduced into a you-only-look-once (YOLO) model, including an angle optimization strategy between the head and body for detecting a head in a feeder. According to experimental results, this method can detect the feeding behavior of pigs and screen non-feeding positions with 95.66%, 94.22%, and 96.56% average precision (AP) at an intersection over union (IoU) threshold of 0.5 for YOLOv3, YOLOv4, and an additional layer and with the proposed activation function, respectively. Drinking behavior was detected with 86.86%, 89.16%, and 86.41% AP at a 0.5 IoU threshold for YOLOv3, YOLOv4, and the proposed activation function, respectively. In terms of detection and classification, the results of our study demonstrate that the proposed method yields higher precision and recall compared to conventional methods.

As the Internet use explodes recently, the malicious attacks and hacking for a system connected to network occur frequently. For such reason, lots of intrusion detection system has been developed. Intrusion detection system has abilities to detect abnormal behavior and unknown intrusions also it can detect intrusions by using patterns studied from various penetration methods. Various algorithms are studying now such as the statistical method for detecting abnormal behavior, extracting abnormal behavior, and developing patterns that can be expected. Etc. This study using clustering of data mining and association rule analyzes detecting areas based on two models and helps design detection system which detecting abnormal behavior, unknown attack, misuse attack in a large network.
An approach for game bot detection in massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs) based on the analysis of game playing behavior is proposed. Since MMORPGs are large-scale games, users can play in various ways. This variety in playing behavior makes it hard to detect game bots based on play behaviors. To cope with this problem, the proposed approach observes game playing behaviors of users and groups them by their behavioral similarities. Then, it develops a local bot detection model for each player group. Since the locally optimized models can more accurately detect game bots within each player group, the combination of those models brings about overall improvement. Behavioral features are selected and developed to accurately detect game bots with the low resolution data, considering common aspects of MMORPG playing. Through the experiment with the real data from a game currently in service, it is shown that the proposed local model approach yields more accurate results.
This paper proposes a system that can detect the data leakage pattern using a convolutional neural network based on defining the behaviors of leaking data. In this case, the leakage detection scenario of data leakage is composed of the patterns of occurrence of security logs by administration and related patterns between the security logs that are analyzed by association relationship analysis. This proposed system then detects whether the data is leaked through the convolutional neural network using an insider malicious behavior graph. Since each graph is drawn according to the leakage detection scenario of a data leakage, the system can identify the criminal insider along with the source of malicious behavior according to the results of the convolutional neural network. The results of the performance experiment using a virtual scenario show that even if a new malicious pattern that has not been previously defined is inputted into the data leakage detection system, it is possible to determine whether the data has been leaked. In addition, as compared with other data leakage detection systems, it can be seen that the proposed system is able to detect data leakage more flexibly.
Self-healing is one of the techniques that assure dependability of mission-critical system. Self-healing consists of fault detection and fault recovery and fault detection is important first step that enables fault recovery but it causes overhead. We can detect fault based on model, the detection tasks that notify system's behavior and compare normal behavior model and system's behavior are heavy jobs. In this paper, we propose architecture-based multi-level self-adaptive monitoring method that complements model-based fault detection. The priority of fault detection per component is different in the software architecture. Because the seriousness and the frequency of fault per component are different. If the monitor is adapted to intensive to the component that has high priority of monitoring and loose to the component that has low priority of monitoring, the overhead can be decreased and the efficiency can be maintained. Because the environmental changes of software and the architectural changes bring the changes at the priority of fault detection, the monitor learns the changes of fault frequency and that is adapted to intensive to the component that has high priority of fault detection.

Vulnerable web applications have been the primary method used by the attackers to spread their malware to a large number of victims. Such attacks commonly make use of malicious links to remotely execute a rather advanced malicious code. The attackers often deploy malwares that utilizes unknown vulnerabilities so-called "zero-day vulnerabilities." The existing computer vaccines are mostly signature-based and thus are effective only against known attack patterns, but not capable of detecting zero-days attacks. To mitigate such limitations of the current solutions, there have been a numerous works that takes a behavior-based approach to improve detection against unknown malwares. However, behavior-based solutions arbitrarily introduced a several limitations that made them unsuitable for real-life situations. This paper proposes an advanced web browser based malicious behavior detection system that solves the problems and limitations of the previous approaches.
In order to further improve the accuracy and time efficiency of behavior recognition in intelligent monitoring scenarios, a human behavior recognition algorithm based on YOLO combined with LSTM and CNN is proposed. Using the real-time nature of YOLO target detection, firstly, the specific behavior in the surveillance video is detected in real time, and the depth feature extraction is performed after obtaining the target size, location and other information; Then, remove noise data from irrelevant areas in the image; Finally, combined with LSTM modeling and processing time series, the final behavior discrimination is made for the behavior action sequence in the surveillance video. Experiments in the MSR and KTH datasets show that the average recognition rate of each behavior reaches 98.42% and 96.6%, and the average recognition speed reaches 210ms and 220ms. The method in this paper has a good effect on the intelligence behavior recognition.
