The purpose of the study is to present implications for the management performance and improvement of enterprises through the study of the simplicity of meals, individual values, inhuman relationships, attitude formation, awareness and solitary eating behaviors. The research method was investigated by the judgment sampling method. The collected effective samples were validated using a confirmed factorial analysis to ensure the validity of the discriminatory validity and the internal validity of the convergent validity. First of all, the company should provide information to the people who eat alone to A recognize the simplicity of their meals. Second, we should ensure that the individual values of the Honbab people can be formed through various promotional strategies that can lead to the formation of attitudes. Third, companies should pursue diverse event strategies that can lead to the formation of attitudes of the people of the Honbab family. Fourth, event development such as the provision of a very special service for customers only will have to be conducted when visiting the stores of the Honbap people. Finally, companies should focus on promoting the convenience, convenience, and time-consuming advantages of eating alone through a variety of marketing, and strive to increase their customers.
With increasing elderly living with diabetes, health professionals have focused on the relations between behaviors improving health status and life satisfaction. This research attempts to explain the influence of the health promotion behaviors on the life satisfaction of the elderly with diabetes. Also, we are focusing whether there is a mediating effect of depression between health promotion behaviors and life satisfaction of the elderly with diabetes. 685 persons with diabetes over 60 years of age were selected from the data of KLoSA (Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing), administered by The National Institute of Labor in 2006. Life satisfaction was measured by 5 items: health status, economic status, relationship with a spouse, relationship with children, and the quality of life. Health promotion behaviors were measured by 4 items: regular diet, exercise, smoking, and drinking. The mediating variable is the depression measured by CES-D10. As the method of analysis, the multiple regressions were used with SPSS 12.0. The result of the study shows that the health promotion behaviors have a positive influence on life satisfaction and a negative influence on depression. It was also verified that the depression variable has a partial mediating effect between health promotion behaviors and life satisfaction. These results present the importance of integrated (physical, psychological, and social) approach for the health promotion experts intervening with the elderly with diabetes.
In this study, in order to understand the social psychological characteristics of college male students majoring in beauty, PAI tests were conducted on 163 university students located in Gyeonggi-do and Chungnambuk area in 2020. First, when comparing the average scales of men who majored in beauty and men who majored in general, the major male students of beauty showed an overall high clinically recognized type compared to students who majored in beauty, and a negative impression on a valid scale (NIM) considered treatment for physical complaints (SOM), depression (DEP) and drinking problems (ALC) on a clinical scale, and a significant difference was shown on a suicide idea (SUI) scale. Secondly, in order to navigate the PAI scale that significantly predicts beauty major male students, a stepwise regression analysis was performed using 15 significant scales as search factors in comparison between beauty major male and general major male students. As a result, physical complaints (SOM) and depression (DEP) scales were extracted, which became a factor that can predict male students in beauty major. Therefore, it can be understood that the male students in the beauty major have behavior patterns that are more obsessed with and more impulsive to physical problems than the male majors. These results will provide a lot of suggestions for the selection of future male students in beauty major, selection, management, education, consultation materials, and selection of occupations after graduation.
The purpose of this study was to develop and standardize the Korean version of the Parent Mealtime Action Scale(K-PMAS). The parents of typically developing preschool and elementary school children (N=887) ranging in age from 1 to 11 years as well as parents of children with developmental disorders (N=116) completed the PMAS. A subset of the participants were retested for reliability and also completed the Children's Eating Behavior Inventory- Korean Version (K-CEBI), which was used for assessing validity. The confirmatory factor analysis revealed that the theoretically-based 8-factor structure of PMAS fit the data well. The PMAS scores suggested acceptable levels of internal consistency and test-retest reliability. Validity was also supported by significant correlations between the K-CEBI scores and the differences in K-PMAS scores between the parents of children with developmental disorders and those of typically developing children. The results of one-way ANOVA showed no significant differences in K-PMAS scores between the genders. However, there were significant differences across ages. The means and standard deviations of the PMAS scale scores are provided. Clinical and research implications as well as limitations are discussed.
This study attempts to analyze gender gaps in voter turnout for three different types of elections held since 2017 at the aggregate level using the Central Election Management Commission's turnout data, paying attention to the importance of women's voting. The findings are as follows. First, modern gender gaps in voter turnout at the aggregate level are confirmed in most regions regardless of election types. Second, the gender gap in turnout varies with age. The gender difference is verified in the "widowhood effect," where turnout decreases in the oldest-old. In the new voter group, modern gender gaps appear in most regions. The reversed gender difference in turnout in the late 20s, which reflects the Korean society's characteristics, is confirmed in all elections. Third, it is unclear whether the reverse gender gap in turnout becomes more pronounced in urbanized districts. As urbanization progressed, modern gender differences in voter turnout across age groups are observed at the population-based size level. Paradoxically, the modern gender gap tends to be weak and turns into the traditional gender gap in younger age groups (in the late thirties) in Gangnam-gu and Seocho-gu, the most modernized districts in Seoul. These results show that the modern gender gap in turnout is now a common phenomenon and continues to be strengthened by newly recruited voters in Korea. Thus we should pay more attention to female voters' political behavior and a new approach beyond the developmental theory to understand the causal mechanism to generate the modern gender gap in voter turnout.
This study aims at examining what factors have an effect on congressional voting behaviors. In particular, the study closely investigates the Whole Reform Bill on the Law of Local Educational Self-Governing because the bill attracts a lot of attentions. Above all, the bill contains direct election of superintendents of educational affairs and members of a board of education. Likewise, the education committee is converted into a standing committee of the local assembly due to the passage of the bill. The reason the study mainly focuses on the bill is because in general, bills on the floor are approved with significant high in favor; however, the bill was passed with opposition. The study examines factors having an influence on legislators' voting decision. Statistical results show that the ruling party played a significant role in passing the bill. Also, the results exhibit that legislators with high careers and proportional members were in favor of the bill compared with other legislators. Although the study examined only particular bill passed by the National Assembly, it gave an opportunity to look at voting behaviors of legislators. Hopefully, the study contributes to the understanding of congressional voting behaviors.
Shopping is considered a 'must-do' activity for most people on travel. One of the major parts of tourist shopping is the purchasing of souvenirs. Souvenirs are universally associated with tourism as a commercially produced and purchased object to remind the purchaser of the experience. Recently, Korea becomes one of the most popular destinations that many Asian tourists like to visit. Among those Asian tourists, the number of Thai tourists bound for Korea shows an incredible rapid growth. Thai people pick Korea and Seoul as their favorite country and city to visit for three consecutive years since 2009. One of the major reasons why Thais are choosing to tour Korea is the enthusiasm for Korean pop culture. That is, 'Hallyu' has influenced Thais' decision to visit Korea and purchase Korean products. The primary objective of the current research is to explore the shopping experiences of Thai tourists, specifically their souvenir shopping. It adopts a reflexive interpretive approach to bring light to the various meanings Thai tourists attach to the souvenirs they purchase in Korea. In order to accomplish the objective, the individual interviews were conducted. A total of 12 Thais who have experienced traveling in Korea participated in the study. Four themes were identified through interview text analysis. First, the research participants almost always purchase souvenirs in Korea because the souvenirs represent their identities as tourists. Especially, they purchase the souvenirs as gifts for others, including family members, friends, and colleagues. The souvenirs as gifts show love and thanks to others, and they cement the social relationship. However, purchasing souvenirs for others is more like the moral obligations which evoke the psychological stress. Secondly, the research participants feel closer to Korea while shopping souvenirs around. Thirdly, they obtain imaginative experiences and pleasure through souvenirs related to the Korean pop culture. Souvenirs provide them to visually extraordinary experiences. Lastly, souvenirs purchased in Korea act as visible status marker when they go back to Thailand. They show the socioeconomic status and lifestyles. Tourists themselves and others place special value to souvenirs that were purchased out of Thailand. The findings of this study are of both academic and practical importance. Souvenirs are among the most pervasive elements of the travel experience. However, souvenir shopping is the complicated consumer behavior within tourism both from business and social science perspectives. Along the same line, it needs strategic approaches in order to maximize the economy effects. It concludes by suggesting how further research could offer unique insights into how the souvenirs are positioned both in the context of tourism academics and industry.
This study examines how anonymity between drivers affects aggressive driving and why, in an anonymous situation, some drive aggressively and others do not. Two surveys were conducted. The first survey covered 200 participants and found that people are more likely to drive aggressively in an anonymous situation than in a face-to-face situation. The second survey covered 384 participants with a history of aggressive driving and found that these aggressive drivers could be classified into three groups using a two-step cluster analysis. Drivers who often exhibit aggressive driving in anonymous situations were found in the second questionnaire to have a high tendency towards driving anger and towards ambivalence over emotional expressiveness. The tendency towards self-defensive ambivalence factor, one of the factors in the ambivalence over emotional expressiveness questionnaire, was also found to be high. Individuals who tended to drive aggressively in an anonymous situation were found to be susceptible to driving anger, usually faced ambivalence over emotional expressiveness, and typically were indecisive. The results of this study suggest that rather than intensifying the enforcement of traffic regulations, a better remedy for those who drive recklessly would be to have them undertake some candid self-reflection.

This study described the test results to evaluate the effect of fines content on the wettability of sandy soil composed of hydrophobic soil particles. Wettability was evaluated using the contact angle obtained from the water drop test results for Jumunjin standard sand and sandy soil containing fines content. The test results showed that the wettability of sandy soil composed of sand and fine-grained soil changed depending on the hydrophobic level and fines content. The influence of fines content on the wettability of sandy soil was analyzed. It was found that 1% and 3% hydrophobic sandy soil with 5% fines content decreased by 94.4% and 32.4%, respectively, compared to the contact angle of standard sand. In addition, the contact angle reduction ratio for sandy soil with a 5% hydrophobic level and a fines content of 5% and 10% were 24.4% and 37.3%, respectively. In other words, the wettability of the soils should be evaluated considering the fines content to predict the behavior of contaminants, because the fines content has a significant impact on the value and increase/decrease ratio of the contact angle of sandy soil

The Second-generation high-temperature superconducting (HTS) Rare-Earth Barium Copper Oxide (REBCO) wire is a composite laminate having a multi-layer structure (8 or more layers). HTS wires will undergo multiple loads including the bending-tension loads during winding, high current density, and high magnetic fields. In particular, the wires are subjected to bending stress and magnetic field stress because HTS wires are wound around a circular bobbin when making a high-field magnetic. Each of the different laminated wires inevitably exhibits damage and fracture behavior of wire due to stress deformation, mismatches in thermal, physical, electrical, and magnetic properties. Therefore, when manufacturing high-field magnets and other applications, it is necessary to calculate the stress-strain experienced by high-temperature superconducting wire to present stable operating conditions in the product's use environment. In this study, the finite element model (FEM) was used to simulate the strain-stress characteristics of the HTS wire under high current density and magnetic field, and bending loads. In addition, the result of obtaining the neutral axis of the wire and the simulation result was compared with the theoretical calculation value and reviewed. As a result of the simulation using COMSOL Multiphysics, when a current of 100 A was applied to the wire, the current value showed the difference of 10-9. The stress received by the wire was 501.9 MPa, which showed a theoretically calculated value of 500 MPa and difference of 0.38% between simulation and theoretical method. In addition, the displacement resulted is 30.0012 ㎛, which is very similar to the theoretically calculated value of 30 ㎛. Later, the amount of bending stress by the circular mandrel was received for each layer and the difference with the theoretically obtained the neutral axis result was compared and reviewed. This result will be used as basic data for manufacturing high-field magnets because it can be expanded and analyzed even in the case of wire with magnetic flux pinning.
