한국미용학회지 수록 논문의 연구동향 분석 (The Analysis of Study Trend on Journal of the Korean Society of Cosmetology)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the related to cosmetic studies and to offer the study directions. A journal selected for this study is The Korean Society of Cosmetology only registered on Korea Research Foundation. A total of 493 articles in journal of The Korean Society of Cosmetology were reviewed and analyzed carefully. The results of review and analysis were as follow: The articles of the Korean Society of Cosmetology were classified into varies sections by main subjects, which are Basic Science, Make-up, Hair, Skin, Cosmetic & Hair Product, Beauty History, Beauty Education, Fashion. From the groups of main subjects, it was then classified into secondary subjects. In the result of examined frequencies in main subject of the articles showed highest of 89 in basic science, 84 journals in Beauty Marketing related, 73 in Hair. And from the classified secondary subjects, highest frequencies showed in the study based on second in study based on Cosmetic of 46 and Aesthetician of 41 journals. The research trend in the field of cosmetics showed the quantitative increase of article publication in journals. However, the contents lacked in depth compared to subdivided fields and the target or the method of conduct researches were in disproportion. Therefore, clearness is necessary in definitions of the field of cosmetic study and the standard of division in each fields.

전통정자의 표준모델 개발 (Development of Standard Model for Traditional Pavilion)

  • 한국 정자의 표준모델은 한국전통의 미를 구현하고 시대적 흐름을 반영할 수 있으며, 보편적이고 현실적인 모델을 개발 함과 동시에 국제적으로 한국 전통미를 알릴 수 있는 계기가 될 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 한국 전통정자의 사례조사를 통해 우리 고유의 전통기술을 계승하고 한국정자의 정통성을 보존하면서 생활화, 산업화, 활성화, 세계화 할 수 있는 표준모델을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 사례분석과 현대의 트랜드를 고려하여 각 부분별로 계획을 진행하여 전통정자의 대표적인 유형인 사모정, 육각정, 팔각정에 대해서 표준모델을 제시할 수 있었다. 표준모델은 정통성을 고려하면서도 활용도를 높이기 위해 난간마루를 설치하고 계자난간을 설치하는 등의 디자인 트랜드에 약간의 변화를 주었다. 이렇게 제시된 표준모델은 현재의 디자인 트랜드가 반영된 것으로 추후에는 그 때의 트랜드에 따라 다른 형태로 변경될 수 있다. 이번에 개발된 한국 정자의 표준모델은 한국전통의 미를 재현하면서도 보편적이고 현실적인 모델이라고 할 수 있다.

비건 뷰티와 뷰티산업의 연관성에 관한 연구 (A study on the relationship between vagan beauty and the beauty industry)

  • 최근 환경오염과 동물실험에 관한 관심이 대두되면서 소비의 큰 축을 형성하며 새로운 트렌드로 부상하고 있는 비건 뷰티에 관해 알아보고 뷰티산업과의 연관성을 조사하기 위해 비건 뷰티에 관한 인식, 특성 및 실태와 보완점을 중심으로 설문을 통해 조사 분석한 결과 비건 뷰티에 관한 인식은 전체의 31.3%로 매우 낮았으나 특성은 단점(3.04)보다 장점(3.08)이 높게 나타났고 실태는 향후 구매의사가 81.7%로 높게 나타났으며 전망 또한 87.3%로 매우 높게 나타났다. 따라서 아직은 비건 뷰티가 대중화.보편화 되지 않았으나 보완점으로 요구된 가격절충, 제품의 보편화 및 다양성, 성능개선 등을 개선한 비건 뷰티는 미래뷰티산업 발전에 긍정적 전망을 제시하리라 사료된다.

  • 현대 산업사회의 급속적인 발달로 인한 경제적, 물질적 풍요로움은 다양한 문화산업의 발달은 물론, 뷰티산업의 발전을 가져다주었다. 이처럼 뷰티산업은 TV, 광고, 패션잡지, 영화 등의 대중매체의 성장과 더불어 새로운 뷰티 트렌드를 빠르게 대중에게 확대, 형성해 가고 있다. 메이크업 또한 뷰티 트렌드와 함께 지속적으로 변화하고 다양한 표현기법의 활용으로 그 예술적 영역이 더욱 확대되고 있다. 이는 곧 메이크업 일러스트레이션에도 영향을 주어 그 역할이 점차 강조되어 현대 문화의 상황 속에서 대중과의 커뮤니케이션이라는 해석이 확대되면서 새로운 예술의 개념으로 인식되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 뷰티 산업과 대중간의 '유행정보 교환'이라는 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있는 메이크업 일러스트레이션의 다양한 이미지 표현 방법을 분석하여 예술적 가치를 높이고자 하였다. 또한 컴퓨터 그래픽을 활용한 메이크업 일러스트레이션을 제작하여 앞으로의 창작, 연구 활동에 유용한 자료가 되기를 기대한다.

현대패션에 표현된 일본 전통 미의식에 관한 연구 (Study on Japanese Traditional Aesthetic Sense in Modern Fashion)

  • Today, each country's cultural communications are carried briskly and Japan already showed a new trend of world fashion by accepting its own design with aesthetic sense to western Europe in 1970s and built the new area of Japanese fashion. This special traditional aesthetic sense, formed by social, cultural, geographic and religious conditions, is roughly divided into decorated and undecorated beauty; decorated one means splendidness, coquetry, exaggeration and was represented ornamental modification of nature object in dress pattern as ornamental expression means; undecorated one, based on Zen-thought, means simplicity, purity, ugliness and Japan gave rise to the new beauty by receiving and adapting continental culture to its culture openly and creating and developing its own beauty. This study aims to examine the aesthetic sense shown in Japanese traditional dress and understand how traditional beauty is used and applied to modern fashion and analyze the diversity of Japanese traditional aesthetic sense shown in modern fashion. For material analysis, total 220 were collected of photograph related to formative element existence according to aesthetic sense shown in Japanese traditional fashion design using literature research and visual data. The existences of Japanese image among them were confirmed by clothing and fashion department majors so that 7 pieces of which were selected as final analysis object. Likewise, the result suggests that Japanese traditional aesthetic sense creates global design based on folk element-used identity as well as new beauty by adapting continental culture to its culture openly and producing and developing its own creative beauty.

펑크스타일의 토탈 코디네이션 경향 (A Study on Total Coordination Trend Appeared in the Punk Style)

  • It is an important means of expressing oneself and is affected by the social and cultural environment, too. People are creating another new lower culture, it's Sub Culture, that is, their own unique new fashion through the coordination status of a lower culture and its components to reveal the visual symbol of such garments and body decorations most clearly. The Punk formed as an reaction to 1960's hippie appeared as the most unpleasant image to the established generations with their ultimate resisting action and new aesthetic-consciousness. Their coordination by the use of the disorder and stimulative tool which gives abhorrence appears again as Cyber Punk being influenced by optical art and multimedia in '90s. It can be seen that the form of lower culture mentioned above became a storehouse of new fashion creation through the most nuclear role of lower culture and the unique characteristic coordination by age and that each lower culture fashion can become a style icon of new fashion through free coordination.

N세대의 화장품 소비 경향 조사분석 (Investigation on Trend of Makeup Products of N-Generation)

  • Since, N-Generation equipped with internet seek for more reasonable consumption, they are seeking positive toward the latest vogue and having strong desires for better consumption. In such, the makeup industry produces makeup products specially made for the N-Generation. The products not only directly reflect the skin features of the N-Generation but also form different. Therefore, the purpose of this study tries to find out the distinctive consumption of the N-Generation that rises as the new consumer group of the new millennium in the makeup industry and their purchase behaviors. The investigation was done on 200 females aging from 13 to 23. Investigation method was done face-to-face interview conducted from Dec. 1st to Dec. 8th, 2003 for a week. Through the study, it can be seen that the network generation is interested in e-commerce and such trend show the possibility of makeup market in the e-commerce. Also, it is suggested that the study can be used as useful data when establishing marketing strategies in the relevant industry. The result where the N-generation demands for distinctive products just for them can be used as an alternative plan of market division policy.

  • This study aimed to analyze the relationship between makeup and Pantone color by reflecting the visual elements of modern people who react sensitively to trends, and to research and propose art makeup using various techniques based on the results. The scope of this study was the last 5 years for researching trend colors. The range of colors was from 2016 to 2020, and the research method was designed after examining makeup trends using Pantone colors from 2016 to 2020; the characteristics of color and trend makeup were analyzed to design art makeup using various techniques. With respect to research data, literature review was conducted on the makeup design using Pantone colors with trend makeups. By referring to data in Pantone's official website, the characteristics and meanings of each color were analyzed. Based on research data, illustrations were made and makeup was designed and suggested. According to the study results, one-color makeup created a stable and uniform mood as a whole and could highlight the characteristics of each color. On the other hand, the makeup design that mixed Pantone colors harmonized the complementary colors and created an original and beautiful makeup design. The researcher identified the relationship and characteristics of trend colors and makeup and suggested various techniques, and expects that by linking the effect of trend color with makeup, designs and visual effects that go beyond the limits of the makeup market will be suggested and expanded.

미용실 서비스 속성이 고객 만족과 충성도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Service Attributes on Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty in Beauty Salon)

  • Purpose: In beauty industry, service quality is very critical, because it impacts on the customer's positive attitude and behavior to the beauty salon or beauty brand. Thus, this research examines the effects of service attributes on customer satisfaction and loyalty in beauty salon. This research suggests the guidelines for how beauty salons should manage their physical environment, price policy, professional skills, and employees that improve management and business performance. Research design, data, and methodology: This study examines the structural relationship between service attributes, customer satisfaction, and loyalty. Service attributes divide into four sub-dimensions such as servicescape, price service, technical service, and employee service. In order to test the purposes of this research, research model and hypotheses were developed. All constructs were measured with multiple items developed and examined in previous studies. A total of 160 questionnaires were distributed and collected, and 150 were used for analysis except 10 that were unresponsive or unfaithful. The data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and SmartPLS 3.0 statistical package program. Result: The results of this research are as follows. First, all sub-dimensions of service attributes such as servicescape, price service, technical service, and employee service have significant positive impacts on satisfaction. Second, customer satisfaction have significant impact on loyalty. Conclusions: This study suggests an integrated model of the relationship that the characteristics of beauty salon service attributes affect customer loyalty through satisfaction, and suggests how to manage and allocate limited resources in the beauty industry. The findings of this research indicate that the level of customer satisfaction is shown to be increased by servicescape, technical characteristics, value of money, and human attributes. Thus, beauty salon management should focus on the relationship with their customers how to improve customer loyalty through satisfaction. The quality of beauty service influences customer's attitudes and behaviors toward beauty salon. Considering the beauty business, where the quality and customer satisfaction of beauty services are determined by the hairdresser's beauty skills,, the beauty salons must find ways to improve their skills and new trend of hair style. If beauty salon customers perceive the high quality of beauty service, they revisit beauty salon and recommend it to others.
