A Study on PAI Traits of Beauty Major Male Students (미용전공 남학생의 특성비교 연구)

  • In this study, in order to understand the social psychological characteristics of college male students majoring in beauty, PAI tests were conducted on 163 university students located in Gyeonggi-do and Chungnambuk area in 2020. First, when comparing the average scales of men who majored in beauty and men who majored in general, the major male students of beauty showed an overall high clinically recognized type compared to students who majored in beauty, and a negative impression on a valid scale (NIM) considered treatment for physical complaints (SOM), depression (DEP) and drinking problems (ALC) on a clinical scale, and a significant difference was shown on a suicide idea (SUI) scale. Secondly, in order to navigate the PAI scale that significantly predicts beauty major male students, a stepwise regression analysis was performed using 15 significant scales as search factors in comparison between beauty major male and general major male students. As a result, physical complaints (SOM) and depression (DEP) scales were extracted, which became a factor that can predict male students in beauty major. Therefore, it can be understood that the male students in the beauty major have behavior patterns that are more obsessed with and more impulsive to physical problems than the male majors. These results will provide a lot of suggestions for the selection of future male students in beauty major, selection, management, education, consultation materials, and selection of occupations after graduation.

An Analysis of Fashion Behavior of Male College Students in Dalian, China (중국 대련 남자대학생의 패션행동분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the factor of fashion behavior and to identify fashion behavior differences according to demorgraphic/physical characteristics and parents' background of male college student in Dalian, China. The data were collected via a self-administered questionnaire from 250 male college students living in Dalian, China in June 2007. Data analysis method were used to Crombach's a, reliabilty, factor analysis, frequency analysis, ANOVA, and Sheffe's test for the post hoctest. The results of this study were as follows: Fashion behavior factors were analyzed into 6 factors such as fashion satisfaction oriented, high price oriented, fashion leader oriented, practical fashion oriented, others defendence oriented. There were significant difference in demographic variables such as age, major and physical variables such as height, weight, clothing size and parents' background such as education, job, and income.

Effects of Hair and Beauty College Students' Major Satisfaction and Self-Efficacy on Career Preparation Behavior (헤어미용전문대학생의 전공만족도와 자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is hair salon satisfaction and self-efficacy in major college students preparing course is to identify the factors that affect the action. The subjects of the study were 173 male and female college students attending the College of Hair and Beauty in G region from March 10 to 25, 2021, and 150 of them were finally SPSS.It used the WIN 22.0 program. First, it has been verified that the satisfaction of hair and beauty college students' majors directly affects career preparation behavior. Second, the hair salon for preparatory actions in the course of major college student satisfaction and self-efficacy turned out to be a very important influence. Third, action represents a direct impact on career preparation is college student's hair salon self-efficacy and research to do significant impact. Based on the results of this study, students with high satisfaction with their majors suggest that they are preparing for a systematic professional life for career preparation when they are self-efficacy in college.

The Relationship Between Social Perception Reflected in Product Advertisement and Consumerism Toward Commodification of Sex Among College Students (대학생의 광고에 반영된 성상품화에 대한 사회적 인식과 소비주의 성향과의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between social perception reflected in product advertisement and consumerism toward commodification of sex among college students. Subjects of this study were 1,100 college students in the Daegu metropolitan areas. Social perceptions were assessed by questions such as attitudes toward beauty contests, degree of commodification of sex in product advertisements and buying patterns. Consumerism was assessed by the Korean Featherstone version of consumer culture. Major findings of this study were as follows: a significant difference in the social perception of commodification of sex was found between male and female college students, showing that female students were more negative toward commodification of sex than male students. Higher scores were found for consumerism when subjects had higher perceptions for commodification of sex. Hence, the degree of commodification of sex was positively related to the degree of consumerism. In conclusion, consumerism enforced commodification of sex among college students, resulting negative effects on the sex culture in general.

Oral health and eating habits characteristics relating to maxillary central incisor color of the university students in their twenties (20대 대학생들의 상악중절치 색조와 구강보건 및 식습관 관련 특성)

  • Objectives : This study aims to prepare the basic data of the teeth color by measuring tooth mode using the color of the maxillary central incisor of the college students in their twenties as the dental colorimeter, and oral health and eating habit characteristics were examined. Methods : The maxillary central incisor(1 teeth) of the subjects of study as 467 students(male 89, female 378) was measured during the period from November 14, December 2 2011, so the color of total 467 teeth were examined, and oral health and eating habit characteristics were researched. Results : 1. As the results of measurement of the shade, value, hue of maxillary central incisor by the general characteristics of the subject, the major(shipbuilding information, special rehabilitation for young children) was higher at 3.3 of the shade, and the grade(1), age($$\geq_-20$$), major(beauty culture & cosmetic, occupational therapy) showed higher at +2 of the value, and the grade(1) and all major showed higher at R3 of the hue. 2. As the results of measurement of the shade, value, hue of maxillary central incisor by the oral health characteristics, the subjective teeth color(yellow) and the education of oral health(no) showed higher at 2.5 of the shade. 3. As the results of measurement of the shade, value, hue of maxillary central incisor by the eating habit characteristics of the subjects, the chocolate showed higher at 3.0 and 2.0 of the shade, and the red pepper paste showed higher at +2 and STD of the value, and the green tea showed higher at $R_3$ of the hue. Conclusions : This study demonstrates that the color of the maxillary central incisor showed differences various tendency according to the oral health and eating habit characteristics.

A study on the users' behavior and satisfaction in Moaksan provincial park (모악산 도립공원 이용실태 분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest objective basic data for park management proposal through the quantitative analysis of users' behaviors and satisfaction for the actual conditions of management in Moaksan provincial park. For this, users' behaviors and socio-ecnomic characteristics have been analyzed. Specifically, it attempts to investigate users' anticipation and degree of satisfaction applied Expectancy Theory by Likert scale. And users' satisfaction for the actual conditions of management had been analyzed by using the multiple regression. Results of this study can be summarized as follows ; From the aspect of utilization reality, the male usage was silighty higher than female usage, and the usage rate reality, the male usage was slighty higher than female usage, and the usage rate among the young and students such as university students also appeared slightly higher than the norm. Due to the fact, subject park had been provincial park, bus usage was predominant, and users' visit park 1 or 2 times a year. Generally, the value of users' post occupancy evaluation were higher than those of anticipated, and Use in night and facilities were lower. A sense of the season, dense of forest, beauty of skyline and a perspective view appeared as main explicatory variables having positive effects on the satisfaction level for the landscape. Amount of plant and shade were positive variables on the satisfaction and users' had dissatisfaction with trial damage. According to the multiple regression analysis, the major variables to the satisfaction for the actual condition of vegetation management were diversity, recovery of artificial injury.
