An Advanced Path Planning of Clustered Multiple Robots Based on Flexible Formation (유동적인 군집대형을 기반으로 하는 군집로봇의 경로 계획)

  • This paper describes an advanced formation algorithm of clustered multiple robots for their navigation using flexible formation method for collision avoidance under static environment like narrow corridors. A group of clustered multiple robots finds the lowest path cost for navigation by changing its formation. The suggested flexible method of formation transforms the basic group of mobile robots into specific form when it is confronted by particular geographic feature. In addition, the proposed method suggests to choose a leader robot of the group for the obstacle avoidance and path planning. Firstly, the group of robots forms basic shapes such as triangle, square, pentagon and etc. depending on number of robots. Secondly, the closest to the target location robot is chosen as a leader robot. The chosen leader robot uses $A^*$ for reaching the goal location. The proposed approach improves autonomous formation characteristics and performance of all system.

An Alternative Model on Hierachial Settlement System in Rural Areas (농어촌지역 하위정주체계 모형의 대안설정)

  • In rural settlement planning, its spatial development framework should be constructed on the basis of the hierachial settlement system. However, up to now, there does not exist widely - accepted model on rural settlement hierachy. In this study the basic planning principles and directions on the modelling of the settlement hireachy in rural areas have been consolidated through theoretical study and situational analysis on planning environments. And also, a new yardstick on the grading of the middle - level centers between villages and rural towns has been tried to find out. The research resulted that the existance of periodical rural market might be used as a simple and innovative yardstick on the hierachial ordering of rural settlement system. Based on the above results, an alternative 4 - step model of rural settlement hierachy was proposed ; Rural Town(county hall sitted) -Market Center(having standard periodical market) - Village Center(having no market) - Village. Finally, because the conclusion has been made by very limited case studies and several previous works, there should need continuous studies and checks in future for full reasoning of the proposed model.

  • The purpose of this study is to assess and develop effective MIS planning method by applying the CSF method. With the comparative analysis of the Rockart's basic concept of CSF and the examples of the corporations which employed CSF methodology, a new CSF method more suitable to Korean business environment is proposed and applied to another company for evaluation. The new CSF methodology consists of three steps. The first step is to preexamine the business conditions. The second step contains an Introductory Workshop, interview with the managers, survey questionnaire, Focusing Workshop, and decision of the priorities for system development. The third step is a real development of an information system out of the first and second steps. As a result of this study, it is found that revised CSF method can induce top management to participate more in the activities of information system development and that it can make top management to focus on the critical area. The fulfillment of the information requirement out of the enhanced MIS planning will lead to more successful management activities.

  • Formwork accounts for 10% of the total construction cost and 30~40% of the framework cost, which is a fairly large part. Various system forms were developed for improved economic feasibility and constructability of formwork and for reduced construction duration. In general, the price of system forms per unit area is higher than that of the conventional method, yet the total construction cost can be reduced through higher reusability and constructability. However, if the reusability of forms is excessively increased to cut down the material cost, it may increase the construction duration, which will result in cost increase. On the other hand, if the reusability is decreased for reduction of construction duration, it may lead to cost increase caused by excessive input of materials. To solve such a problem, an algorithm for simplified reuse planning that meets the requirements of construction duration, cost, quality and safety is required. In this regard, the study intends to perform a fundamental research for development of reuse planning automation algorithms on system forms that are used on girders and beams.

A Comparative Analysis on the Pollination Potential Environment of Apis millifera and Bombus ignitus Using the Maxent Model - Focused on Seoul - (Maxent 모델을 이용한 호박벌과 양봉꿀벌의 수분 잠재환경 비교 분석 - 서울시를 중심으로 -)

  • The honey bee has a crucial ecological status for maintaining the natural ecology system. Pollination mediations by honey bees are recognized as an efficient way to enhance the quality of biological diversity and green areas in the nature and the urban ecological system. However, the population of bee around the world is decreasing and we do not know exactly how bees react to the physical environment in the urban area. This study is a basic research for the improvement of pollination services in the Korean urban ecological system. It aims to induce and review environmental variables which have high relations with the activities of pollination mediation insects in the urban area. The study established a Maxent model using five urban environmental variables that reflect the ecology of Bombus ignitus and the place information where Bombus ignitus appears in 18 spots of Seoul city, and compared with previous research results on Apis millifera. Bombus ignitus preferred places with more natural environments such as mountain forest areas and vicinities of streams. They preferred Stratified Tree Area the most among the vegetation types existing in the urban area. Comparing chicken models, both species saw their response value drop as the building coverage rose. In the case of Apis millifera and Bombus ignitus variables, the response value of both species was high in 10 out of 20 types. The result of this study is expected to provide basic information for improving the pollination services in the Korean urban area and to be utilized as the basic materials for the future urban planning.

조선 중일정계획시스템을 위한 공정계획 객체 설계에 관한연구

  • The mid-schedule planning of the ship is making a schedule about the process from cutting to erection. The ship consists of lots of blocks. This block has different process because of the shape of the block varies in accordance with the ship-type and the part position of the ship. The type and order of each block process initially must be generated for the mid-schedule planning. In this paper, the process planning, described as above is preparing the basic information before scheduler make a plan with the prepared manhour. The scheduling is done with this process planning which includes the information of the process order. This paper shows the research about three methods to design the process planning. First, investigate the expression method about information of the process planning for the mid-schedule planning in real workplace. Second, design the object of the process planning on the basis of investigating the expression method. Finally, develop the prototype of object on the basis of this designed process planning and then find the practical use in the mid-schedule planning. The object, which is developed in this paper, contains the main algorithm. In case of developing The Mid-Schedule Planning System, this object is expected to be utilized very easily as consisting another object.

  • The purpose of this study is to actualize the planning method of the shared community space (SCS). For this, it analyzed the residents' needs for the SCS and grasped the composition system of the needs and estimated the factors considered in the planning of the SCS. This study focused on seeking out the user-oriented design criteria for the planning of the SCS. The results of this study are as follows: First, as the results subdividing the residents' needs to understand the various requirements for the SCS, the composition system was classified into the fundamental SCS and the individual SCS. The fundamental SCS's to be considered as basic facilities in the planning of the multi-family housing complex, and the individual SCS to be more suited to a particular group. Second, regarding the investigation of detail guidelines in the SCS planning, it was found that there was a difference in the considered factors and the preferred locations according to the kinds of each SCS, the types of facilities, the main users of facilities, and the contents of activities available in the facilities.

Development of Program Based on the Website for Individual Meal Planning (개인별 식사계획을 위한 웹 기반 프로그램 개발)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the website-based program for individual meal planning. The program consisted of the basic information of clients, dietary habits, analysis of nutrient intakes and menu planning. The first part of the program consisted of general information such as general characteristics and anthropometric data of clients. The second part was designed to investigate the dietary habits, food intake frequency, nutrition knowledge, and drinking and smoking habits of the clients. The third part consisted of analysis of nutrient intakes including three major nutrients, calorie intake by foods and alcohol, and ratio of individual fatty acid intake. Nutrient intakes was evaluated by comparing with dietary reference intakes. In the final part, the program included the menu planning by using standard recipe. This system was also designed to insert, remove or change the food items or amount according to the user need. It is expected that the development of a meal planning system based on the internet can facilitate the professional dietary counseling, and thus help to improve the health of people.

  • The goal of this research is to identify the energy planning techniques of Smart Green City and to establish the realized plan through the analysis of Multi-functional Administrative City. For the research, eighteen planning techniques were derived and categorized into three sectors and six basic direction through literature review and Brain-storming analysis considering correlation between three goals of Smart Green City and expectation of planning technique. And Multi-functional Administrative City was analyzed for the current status of application of planning techniques focus on two application aspects. In conclusion, 'Establishing Integrated Management Center for Urban Energy', 'Building Energy Management System', 'Building Automation System', 'Green Transport System', 'Intelligent Transport System', 'Introduction of Eco-friendly Transportation' planning techniques in reduction of building energy consumption sector and green-intelligent transport system sector were identified as important techniques for Smart Green City.
