  • The purpose of this study was verily the structure model of yacht participants' motives for sport participation, satisfactions of basic psychological need and intentions of persistent participation. Their motives for sport participation and satisfaction of basic psychological desires are reported as variables involving so much in their intentions of persistent participation in the sport activity in which participants of Life Exercise take part. Therefore, a survey research was conducted by aiming at members of yacht foyers' groups and university yacht clubs, 267 copies of the questionnaire in total were used for the analysis. SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 7.0 were used for the processing of the data, and exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and covariance structure model analysis were also applied according to each study objective. The results of the study were as follows: Firstly, there were significant correlations among yacht participants' satisfaction of basic psychological desires, participation motives and intentions of consistent participation. Secondly, yacht participants' satisfaction of basic psychological desires was found to have significant and direct effects on their intentions of persistent participation while haying indirect effects through the medium of their motives for sport participation at the same time. Thirdly, their motives for sport participation had significant effects on their intentions of persistent participation. Fourthly, suggested by the study, the structural equation model of yacht participants' motives for sport participation, satisfaction of basic psychological desires and intentions of persistent participation was found statistically appropriate.

  • The International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities(IALA) model course recommends specific aspects of basic curriculums for Vessel Traffic Services(VTS) operator education such as modules, course hours, contents, etc. Most domestic training programs for newly appointed VTS operators comply with such recommendations. The objective of this study is to determine whether such modules for VTS operator training recommended by the current IALA model course correspond to the actual opinions of VTS operators who are currently working in the field. To this end, the relative importance of basic modules for vessel traffic services operator training was analyzed using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method. A questionnaire was designed to include 8 modules recommended by the IALA model course, and the survey results of 52 individuals working at 5 VTS centers were analyzed. The result showed that, unlike the assumption by the IALA, domestic VTS operators viewed Nautical Knowledge as the most important modules, followed by Emergency Situations, Traffic Management, Language, Equipment, VHF Radio, Communication Co-ordination, and Personal Attributes, in that order.

  • A deterministic model for the spread of pine wilt disease with asymptomatic carrier trees in the host pine population is designed and rigorously analyzed. We have taken four different classes for the trees, namely susceptible, exposed, asymptomatic carrier and infected, and two different classes for the vector population, namely susceptible and infected. A complete global analysis of the model is given, which reveals that the global dynamics of the disease is completely determined by the associated basic reproduction number, denoted by R0. If R0 is less than one, the disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, and in such a case, the endemic equilibrium does not exist. If R0 is greater than one, the disease persists and the unique endemic equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable.

  • This study presents the eigen ethnic function and mathematical processing method of human information. Human information can be definded as the overlap area taking the superposition property composed of intuition and sensory in stimulus/response (S/R) model, In S/R model, the intuition and sensory eigen ethnic function acts on the forming of perception. Perception process by the superposition property of intuition and sensory analogy to the basic neural network model. This analogy model extends to the analysis method. As an analysis method, optimal ratio number induced to the golden section ratio. Golden section ratio drived out by diverse source and implicated to the sensory and intuitive context such as beauty, harmony, optimality etc. This numerical orders can be applied to analysing the Perception process and extended to pursue the Potential human behavior, On the basic of proposed applying method, an illustrative mathematical examples are presented.

  • This study suggested ways to control UML diagram and to make design of database and to retrieve diagram information by giving questions. The study classified elements of the diagram. For instance, class diagram was made of classes, and class was done of class name and attribute operator. The elements were transformed to be database table having basic key and foreign key information. The ways suggested had advantages of users' sharing of model information and reuse of the model. This study investigated cost saving, time saving and UML model construction by database. We had designed integrated and relation database that could save and manage UML diagram, and suggested retrieval. For instance, we classified class diagram into elements to make tables and kept relation of each element by using not only basic key of relation database but also foreign key information. We made database of modeling depending upon methods to give users convenience.

  • This paper proposes new types of models that have coaxial magnetic gear (CMG) configurations to increase torque transmission capability. They have flux concentrating structures at the outer low speed rotor, and permanent magnets (PMs) are embedded in the space between stationary pole pieces. The torque performances of the proposed models are compared with those of a basic CMG model. The harmonic torque components due to air gap field harmonics are also analyzed to investigate the torque contribution of each harmonic by using finite element analysis (FEA) and the Maxwell stress tensor. The proposed CMG model is optimized to have high torque density with low torque ripples by response surface methodology (RSM). Compared to the basic CMG model, the proposed model has a huge increase in transmitted torque density, and is very advantageous in term of PM use.

  • This study aims to analyze the model of 'autonomous regional development', which was initiated in 1980s in Austria, then introduced into Germany and Switzerland. The basic ideas of autonomous regional development are constructed of the peculiarity, the autonomy, the integrity, and the project promotion. The subjects of the development-four poles of the model 'autonomous regional development' -are designed of the land residents, the regional advisers, the regional associations and the state. The concret measures to realize the autonomous regional development are the realization of independent regional economic structures, the autonomy of political decision-makings, and the development of peculiar rural cultures. The autonomous regional development is a new development model, which is founded on the right basic principles. In this model the initiative of the residents is emphasized, and the real autonomy of regional development is required. The principle of autonomy leads to the development of peculiar rural cultures, which keep the peculiarity of the region. The development of rural culture contributes in turn to restoring the identity of residents, which may become a driving force of the rural development.

  • The flow stress value was calculated by comparing predicted and measured roll force. Using basic on-line roll force model and logged mill data the flow stress equation of high strength steel for automobile was derived. The flow stress equation consists of the flow stress equation of carbon steel and flow stress factor calculated by neural network with input parameters not only carbon contents, strip temperature, strain, and strain rate, but also compositions such as Mn, p, Ti, Nb, and Mo. Using the flow stress equation and basic roll force model, precision roll force model of high strength steel for automobile was derived. Using test set of logged mill data the flow stress equation was verified.

  • The domestic construction industry is changing its preference for demand and supply along with urbanization and economic development. Accordingly, initial risk assessments is more important than before. Currently, the research related to risk analysis except for apartment studies is insufficient. Therefore, the objective is to suggest a basic study on financial analysis model development by applying optimization method in residential officetel. To achieve the objective. first, the previous studies are investigated. Second, the causal loop diagram is structured based on the collected data. Third, the financial model is developed by using optimization method. In the future, the proposed model can be helpful whether or not conduct execution of an officetel development project to the decision makers.

  • This study focuses on the discovering problems which have been encountered while the farm company grew from one-man business to big company. We divide a growth process of farm company into 7 phases, and analyze the problems of each phase of growth process of farm company by theoretically and empirically. The logical model methodology is selected to test the basic model, and we use 6 cases to test suggested basic model. The results of this study are as follows. It suggests that the CEO of farm enterprise or its policy maker can understand what kinds of problem they meet while the farm enterprise grew from one-man business to big company, and they can make better strategies or better support policies.
