  • Customary way of thinking may be the most major stumbling block to creative thinking in basic design education in the information and network era. The basic design education was used to be based on personal experience or subjective ideas, but these days, the role of divergent thinking and convergent thinking which provide the basis of creative techniques has been closely examined. Going beyond a divergent thinking and directly starting a convergent thinking means bypassing the design process of the existing basic design education. Though preceding studies considered various creative techniques apart from divergent thinking and convergent thinking, this study presumed that complementing the most typical methods of divergent thinking and convergent thinking may result in the same basic design education effect. So, what approach must be used to the design? The way of thinking needs to change. For that, we try to apply the mapping to basic design education. It must encompass interactive thinking which includes immaterial elements and communication. Divergent thinking can begin with the accurate understanding of current state, and the created current state resolves the design process that needs to be a certain thing. The purpose of this study was to present the method for applying the mapping techniques to basic design education based on divergent and convergent thinking which provides the basis of creative ideas.

CAD를 이용한 도면 작성의 과정적 특성에 관한 연구 -AutoCAD 교재에 나타난 설계 사례를 중심으로- (A Study on the Characteristics of Drafting Process by Using CAD)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the drafting process by using AutoCAD for the basic course as well as to suggest the educational basic data of CAD in interior desigv. This research is to show not only practical use of CAD as a drafting tool function, but offering optimizing ways of AutoCAD command usage. The method used for this study is based on an analyzing of 6 types of total 98 types AutoCAD tutorial manual in CAD section of Kyobo book center. After the analysis of the AutoCAD command usage in creating floor plan, characteristics of drafting process is nearly the same as traditional drafting process. It means that traditional drafting process grafted on to computer aided drafting process. And the practical usage of AutoCAD command type is Draw, Modify, Format and View command in creating floor plav. That is emphasis on a specific functiov. Therefore, it should be developed basic course program which adapted various function of AutoCAD.

편성물의 역학적 특성과 태 평가 - 2 칼라 자카드를 중심으로- (A Study on the Mechanical and Hand Properties of Knitted Fabrics - Focused on the 2 Colors Jacquard -)

  • The results of comparison and analysis of dynamical features according to Jacquard structure are as follows. Regarding elongation(E) value in tensile property, the value in the direction of course was found to be larger in all Jacquard structure, except floating Jacquard, than the direction of wale. It could be found that, as to bending strength(B) in Bending Property, the value of bending strength in the direction of course smaller in all the textile(structure) except floating than the direction of wale, so that the ability of curve formation is excellent. And in case of floating Jacquard, it showed the smallest value in the direction of course and wale, so that it was interpreted as Jacquard having a soft feel. Blister Jacquard showed the highest value in both directions of course and wale, so that it was evaluated as Jacquard having the hardest touch. With regard to shearing character(G) and shearing hysteresis(2HG) in Shearing Property, Jacquard indicated the lowest value, so it was evaluated as the textile(structure) having high drape the transformation of whose fabric is easy. In addition, normal Jacquard, transfer Jacquard, blister Jacquard showed a high value, so that it could be known they are Jacquards having stiff touch. The study implies that normal Jacquard, bird's eye Jacquard, etc., which well stretch in the direction of a course like tubular Jacquard course, is better to make the margin a little shorter than the basic margin, and Jacquard that well stretches in the direction of wale like ladder's back Jacquard and floating Jacquard is better to make the margin longer and the length shorter than the basic margin.

  • 본 논문에서는 연세대학교 기계공학부에서 개설하는 창의공학설계 교과내용에 대한 소개를 다룬다. 교과목 명은 창의설계프로젝트(1)이며, 본 과목은 기계공학전공으로 새로이 진입하는 학부 2학년 학생들을 대상으로 창의적 사고와 체험적 학습을 기반으로 공학설계능력을 습득하고 문제중심학습 및 설계프로젝트 수행을 통해 아이디어를 구현하며 실제 설계된 제품의 결과에 대한 중요성을 인식하도록 교육한다. 본 논문에서는 교과목의 자세한 구성과 수업내용에 대해 설명하고 수업내용, 문제중심학습 및 설계프로젝트를 통해 평가된 학생들의 반응에 대해 서술한다.

A Study on the Development of a MOOC Design Model

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a MOOC design model that would improve the current practice of MOOC development in Korea by specifying easy-to-use course development procedures and guiding strategies. Following Richey and Klein (2007)'s conceptual model development procedure, the first step was to perform critical review of relevant literature and observe typical MOOC development processes. As a result, the initial model was developed. The second step was to conduct the expert review with five educational technology and MOOC researchers to secure the internal validity of the model. Based on the experts' suggestions, the model was revised and once again reviewed by the same experts. This process resulted in the development of the 2nd version of model. The third step was to carry out external validation research in order to test the effectiveness, efficiency, and usability of the model. A basic model may be confirmed or corrected based on examination of its results. Consequently, the model was elaborated as the final model. In the final model, 6 procedural phases and 9 specific steps were included. The six procedural phases are: Analysis (1st Iteration), Design, Development (Course Development), Implementation, Evaluation, and Analysis (2nd Iteration), a slight variation of ADDIE model. The specific steps include: 1) Goal Setting, 2) Environment Analysis, 3) Content Design, 4) Style Design, 5) Course Development, 6) Implementation Plan, 7) Course Implementation, 8) Summative Evaluation, and 9) Need Reflection. The study concluded with suggestions for further research and application of the MOOC design model.

이미지 상상훈련을 적용한 핵심기본간호술 실습교육이 간호대학생의 임상수행능력, 자율실습시간에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Imagery Training on Outcomes of Clinical Competence, Voluntary Practice Time and Nursing Skills)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to explore the effects of imagery training on outcomes of clinical competence, voluntary practice time and basic nursing skills performance during a core basic nursing skills course. Methods: The design was a pre-post test design with two groups consisting of 88 nursing 3rd-year students. Clinical competence was assessed with a pre-post test, and basic nursing skills' performance and voluntary practice time were assessed at the post-test point. Data were collected from March, 2016 to June, 2016. Results: The pre-post differences of all subcategories of clinical competence were significantly improved in the experimental group (p<.05). but the control group did not show significant differences in the teaching/coordinating and professional development areas (p>.05). The experimental group practiced 1.33 hours more than the control group in voluntary practice. The two groups showed no significant difference in basic nursing skills' performance (p>.05). Conclusion: Imagery training during a core basic nursing skills course showed positive effects on nursing students' clinical competence improvement and increase of voluntary practice time.

기본 자카드 조직의 게이지 변화에 따른 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Gauge Types Comparative Analysis of Basic Jacquard Structure)

  • The aim of this study is to plan a design that satisfies consumer needs by forecasting future properties following changes of gauge in basic Jacquard structure and to provide helpful data for a variety of knit-wear development. Four basic Jacquard knit samples (Normal Jacquard, Bird's eye Jacquard, Floating Jacquard, Tubular Jacquard) were selected and projected by using three types of gauges (7G, 12G, 14G) with an SES-122S type Computer Knitting machine of Shimaseiki MFG. Twelve different types of samples with Jacquards and gauges were tested on a flat table by measuring the course and wale in a 1cm area to calculate the gauge of samples. The mechanical properties of 12 types of Jacquard samples were measured using KES-FB (Kawabata Evaluation System for Fabric, Kata Tech Co. Ltd). As the result of comparing the number of patterns, courses and wales depending on the change of gauge of the basic Jacquard structure, it was observed that the number of patterns per specific length, course and wale has increased from 7G to 14G, a high-gauge. According to objective research regarding Jacquard structure, 7G Tubular Jacquard, which is low gauge, seems to be suitable for masculine design as it is heavy and thick, and has rigid and rough texture due to a high level of flexural strength and shear property. 14G Floating Jacquard, which is high gauge, seems to be suitable for feminine, silhouette design as it is light, thin, soft, flexible and has high drape. The result of this study provides a theoretical foundation for knit-wear development considering basic Jacquard structure and gauge-specific properties. This study can be used to provided directions for the development of knit industry.

국내 실내건축 관련학과의 컴퓨터 교육현황에 관한 연구 - 4년제 대학교와 2년제 대학의 교과편성 비교를 중심으로 - (A Study on Present States of Computer Education in Interior Design Dept. - Focus on Comparison between Curriculum of University and that of Junior College -)

  • This study is aimed to analyze present states of computer education in interior design dept. and therefore to offer basic data in order to establish middle and long term plan on computer education. According to results of analysis, computer education course accounts for 10.1 percent in total curriculum. But this component ratio has great difference between university and jumopr college. Namely computer education course of college is much more weighter than that of university. It seems to be results from college's characteristic strategies. But this results to unsuitable curriculum allocation. To solve this problem, further examination of linking computer's course with drafting and drawing course should be required. And to heighten more effect of computer education, other circumstance as well as educational facility should be improved and common CAD laboratory should be produced.

  • Today, it is a fact that interior design plays a very important role as much as architecture on contributing to our society as a rising new professional field. On the other hand, our interior design education is still in immagture stage unlike the graudal development of the mood of interior design line , If the interior design field has any educational value to invest to be noticed as an environmental design that creates the human environment. There are great deal of meanings to indicate the direction for better education after recognizing the manu different problems on presently offering interior design education. Therefore, the objectives of this study is , after establishing the innovative methods of education and course contents of the four year interior design program, to produce the interior designers of manifold abilities, who is able to fit well in the professional practice, in order to materialize the settlement of interior design education which will be the key point in our circumstances, which has ow social recognition toward interior design. There were four phases in this study. First was to gather and to analyze information from printed materials, such as curriculum and catalog from each institution. Secondly, we had collected existing previous studies in all interior design area in order to sude as references. Thirdly, we have managed to suggest ideal improvement for better basic design program in the area of interior design education after the arranging and analyzing . Finally, we were able to persuade the importance of improved basic design program to the interior design education parties and to suggest the direction for the future. Because interior design as a scholastic pursuit is combined practical application study by the art and technology, it emphasizes specialty . From that reason interior design education must be performed as professional specialist education instead of vocational education. In another words, the ultimate goal of the interior design objectives must be in producing professional specialist.
