성형외과 예약 고객 데이터를 반영한 최적 예약 패턴 연구 (Study on Optimal Appointment Pattern using Plastic Surgery Appointment Data)

  • Purpose: This study investigates the best appointment pattern which can enhance customer's satisfaction and hospital's efficient management reflecting plastic surgery clinic's service characteristics. Methodology: The data of this study is obtained from Plastic surgery Clinic which is located in the civic center. By collecting and analyzing the data, we build the simulation model using ARENA. Based on 5 appointment patterns that was suggested in formal appointment scheduling studies, we experiment 3 simulation models; 'Basic Appointment Pattern' that has no restriction, 'Restriction on Second Customer' that restricts the number of second customer's in each slot, 'Restriction on Process Time' that restricts the number of second customer who has long process time in each slot. We can check robustness of the appointment patterns by experimenting on off-peak day and peak day, during peak season. Findings: This study confirms that these 2 restrictions can give a better result than 'Basic Appointment Pattern' that just simply distributes customers by number. Especially, the performance of Triangle-like pattern which is the best appointment pattern in the formal study has been improved by adding restrictions. Based on 'DET', 'Restriction on Second Customer' shows a better result. Meanwhile, based on 'E(WT)', 'Restriction on Process Time' shows a better result. Overall, based on 'DET+E(WT)', 'Restriction on Second Customer' shows a better result. Practical Implications: The purpose of each hospital may alter as demand for plastic surgery grows increasingly. Thus, each hospital should be always prepared to introduce appointment pattern for changed purpose. In order to respond flexibly to these changes, it is necessary for medical personnel to improve the awareness or for hospital to create an environment by constructing appointment program so that medical personnel does not need to put more labor on work.

  • This paper presents AUTOSAR-ready light software architecture (AUTOSAR-Lite), which is a light weighted version of the AUTOSAR, for automotive embedded control systems. The proposed AUTOSAR-Lite reduces overhead problems caused by the excessive standard specifications of AUTOSAR. Concurrently, AUTOSAR-Lite keeps advantages of AUTOSAR such as a scalability, re-usability, reliability, and transferability. The fundamental design of AUTOSAR-Lite is originated from the AUTOSAR standard. AUTOSAR-Lite is composed of three layers such as an application software, runtime environment, and basic software layer. The application software layer adopts component-based design methodology as AUTOSAR. The runtime environment layer integrates interfaces between application and basic software layers. In case of the basic software layer, restrictions of the module configurations and interfaces of basic software are minimized. In order to validate the feasibility of AUTOSAR-Lite, a software design result based on AUTOSAR-Lite software architecture for electronic throttle control (ETC) system is suggested.

  • This paper deal with basic concept of Hardware In the Loop System(HILS) for hydraulic excavator. Hydraulic excavator has many nonlinearities because of P-Q diagram, dead zone and saturation of valve, single acting cylinder, heavy manipulator. So, actual test is needed when new component or control algorithm is developed but many restrictions exist. Hydraulic circuit of excavator is too complex to model mathematically but dynamic equation of manipulator has made good progress in previous studies. Basic concept of HILS and AMESim model of hydraulic components is contained in this paper.

  • Stirling cycle was actualized as so called ‘hot air engine’. It has been focused again lately as one of measures for exhaust gas emission problem, but as small power engine because of its method of heat addition. Recently marine power plants commenced to meet a stringent environmental restrictions by international convention, Marpol so that diesel engines as main and auxiliarly power plants are urged to be reformed to reduce NOx emission. Author devised a compression ignition engine as a large marine power plants combined with turbo charger based on stirling cycle, and analyzed the performance by means of basic thermodynamic calculation. Analyzed in this paper, were theoretical efficiency, mean effective pressure, required equivalence ratio, gas turbine power ratio, maximum pressure, states of turbo-charger inlet gas and exhaust gas, manifesting that the engine could be proposed as one of the future power plants of marine use.

Constructional Constraints in English Free Relative Constructions

  • As a subtype of English relative clause constructions, free relative constructions like what John ate in I ate what John ate exhibit complicated syntactic and semantic properties. In particular, the constructions have mixed properties of nominal and verbal: they have the internal syntax of sentence and the external syntax of noun phrase. This paper provides a constraint-based approach to these mixed constructions, and shows that simple constructional constraints are enough to capture their complexities. The paper begins by surveying the properties of the constructions. In discusses two types(Specific and nonspecific) of free relatives, their ,lexical restrictions nominal properties and behavior with respect to extraposition, piped piping and stacking Following these it sketches the basic framework of the HPSG(Head-driven Phrase Structure Grammar) which is of relevance in this paper. As the main part, the paper presents a constraint- based analysis in which tight interactions between grammatical constructions and a rich network of inheritance relations play important roles in accounting for the basic as well as complex properties of the constructions is question.

국민기초생활보장제도 개선에 대한 사회복지전담공무원의 인식 연구 (A study of social welfare officials' recognition about improving 'National Basic Livelihood Security Program')

  • 본 연구는 전국 345명의 사회복지전담공무원의 제도에 대한 인식 및 평가를 중심으로, 국민기초생활보장제도의 개선방안에 대한 평가와 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 사회복지전담공무원의 제도 및 수급자에 대한 인식 및 평가 수준에 따라서 각 개선방안에 대한 평가에 차이가 나타났다. 특히, 사회복지전담공무원의 재직년수, 업무량 수준에 따라, 그리고 국민기초생활보장 급여수준, 수급자의 탈빈곤 가능성, 자활근로사업의 성과에 대한 사회복지전담공무원의 제도 인식에 따라 개선방안 중 근로능력자 제한규정에 대한 평가가 다르게 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과를 바탕으로 제도 시행 10주년을 맞이한 국민기초생활보장제도의 주요과제와 개선방안을 탐색하였다.

노마드적 공간에서 나타나는 유연성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Expression Characteristics of Flexibility in Nomadic Space)

  • Recently, in the fields of fashion, advertisement, film, literature, philosophy, etc., the word, 'Nomad', is being used frequently across the overall society. The contemporary society is actively incorporating "nomadic thinking" as a new social phenomenon across the boundaries of conventional fields. This is not an exception in the field of space design. This study, via the contemporary nomadic thinking, examined the relationship between space design's application possibility as a new trend and flexible space; then categorized the characteristics of flexible space into flexibility, temporariness, changeability, and correlation; and then analyzed expression characteristics of flexible space. As for unrestricted expression of scene, it was recognized that separation of scene and space leads space to meet the needs of surrounding environment and users; formation of changeable space enables uses of space from various perspectives; and combining external factors (energy, media technologies) with space leads space to self-evolution. Space is perceived as an living organism that is flexibly corresponding, via realistic movement and virtual movement, to the indefinite, diversified thinking of the contemporary society. Therefore, this study illuminates that nomadic thinking has significance as basic thinking to predict development and characteristics of design thinking through understanding the contemporary society with the basic thinking system that has been inherent without restrictions of being fixed to the present, past, and future.

A New Concept of Hydraulic Design of Water Turbine Runners

  • Vibrations at different frequencies with a different intensity as well as a pressure pulsation with different parameters are two phenomena which can be observed at different water turbines. Due to the vibration and the pressure pulsation some restrictions of water turbine operation range are applied. Similar problems with the efficiency level in a wide water turbine operation range are the basic problems which are solved for ages. A theoretical and practical solution of the above mentioned problems is very much time and money consuming. The paper describes a new theoretical solution of the excitation and pressure pulsation decrease as well as extension of the operational range with high efficiency level. The new concept to decrease the vibrations and pressure pulsations is based on a heterogeneous runner blade geometry generation. The new concept of the runner geometry design was numerically tested at a low specific speed pump turbine, see Fig. 1, and basic points of the concept are presented in this paper.

  • This paper deals with the selection method of effective engineering design problem based on LEGO Mindstorm NXT for basic design education. By YouTube case study of various LEGO-based engineering designs for olympic sports, performance criteria have been developed including programming complexity, structural complexity, sensor/actuator complexity and variety of game operation. Programming complexity includes range of programming code length and possible program variety. Structural complexity includes variety of structural elements such as length, shape, weight, and volume to overcome design restrictions. Sensor/actuator complexity includes variety of sensor used and number of possible actuator assemblies. Variety of game operation includes game complexity and required creativity to make LEGO robots. Based on these performance criteria, four representative sports were selected as the candidates for effective engineering design problem. Finally, feasibility and attributes of each candidate were verified by real implementation examples.

Novel 99mTc(CO)3 Complexes with WAY-100635 Moiety for the Development of 5-HT1A Receptor lmaging Agent

  • The aim of this study is to develop and synthesize $5-HT_{1A}$ receptor imaging agents with WAY-100635 moiety and $^{99m}Tc(CO)_3$ core. WAY-100635 is commonly known as $5-HT_{1A}$ antagonist and its labeled compound ([$^{11}C$] WAY-100635) has been used as effective radioligand for imaging brain $5-HT_{1A}$ receptors with PET(Positron Emission Tomography). However, there are several restrictions in using a radioisotope of C-11 and requires for more effective radioisotopes and ligands. In order to produce a structure most similar to WAY-100635, WAY-100635 derivatives containing a cysteine chelator were designed and confirmed by using in silico (Hyperchem). The novel compounds (7a, 7b, 7c) were prepared in five or 7 steps with yields of 16%, 36% and 42%, respectively and radiolabeled with $[^{99m}Tc(CO)_3(H_2O)_3]^{+}$. The labeling yield was 99% for all the newly synthesized compounds. [$^{99m}Tc(CO)_3$]- WAY-100635 derivatives show a neutral charge which were confirmed by paper electrophoresis.
