A Comparative Study on the Effect of Herb Medication Based on Go-bang Treatment, Huse-bang Treatment for Patients with Acute Neck Pain Caused by Traffic Accidents: A Retrospective Study (교통사고로 유발된 급성 경항통 환자에 대한 고방 치료와 후세방 치료의 효과 비교: 후향적 연구)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of herb medication based on 'Go-bang' treatment, 'Huse-bang' treatment for patients with acute neck pain caused by traffic accidents. Methods We studied 40 patients with acute neck pain after traffic accidents who had admitted to Department of Korean Medicine Rehabilitation, College of Korean Medicine, Daejeon University from November 25, 2018 to November 25, 2019. 20 patients had received Herb Medication Based on 'Go-bang' and 20 patients had received herb medication based on 'Huse-bang' three times a day. The study was conducted as a retrospective observation study which analyze the patient's medical records. We used visual analogue scale (VAS) to evaluate pain reduction and neck disability index (NDI) to evaluate function improvement twice (hospitalization day and 5 days later). Statistical analysis was performed using the IBM SPSS statistics 25 program. Result The VAS scores, NDI scores decreased statistically significantly after treatment in all patients. Both 'Go-bang' and 'Huse-bang'groups showed a statistically significant VAS reduction and improvement of NDI on the fifth day of hospitalization. In the 'Huse-bang' group, there was a statistically significant improvement of NDI than in the 'Go-bang' group. Conclusion We found that both types of herbal-medication were significantly effective on acute neck pain and neck disability after traffic accident. Further study is needed about the comparison of effectiveness between Go-bang' and 'Huse-bang'groups.

  • This paper proposes a new method to improve signal characteristics at branches frequently met in system-level routing. We also introduce the numerical formula which can estimate the time delay due to branches and the simple design guideline for system-level routing. Finally, we propose the routing method which can eliminate the signal reflection for the case of one driver and two receivers (multi-drop topology).

A Clinical Study on the Effect of Eo-hyeol bang for Patients with Whiplash Injury Caused by a Traffic Accident (교통사고로 인한 편타성 손상 환자의 어혈방(瘀血方) 치료 효능에 관한 임상적 연구)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of eo-hyeol bang for patients with whiplash injury caused by a traffic accident. Methods : 60 patients were divided into two groups, Group A and Group B, of 30 patients each. Group A was treated with eo-hyeol bang twice per week for four weeks. Group B was treated with general acupuncture treatment twice per week for four weeks. Results : Between the two groups there was no significant difference in the VNRS score and the Neck disability index. Also, the study did not show significant difference between three variations of motion pattern induced pain and four stages based on the trauma duration of Group A. Conclusions : For patients with whiplash injury, eo-hyeol bang has not proven to be more effective than general acupuncture treatment.

  • 본 연구에서는 BEMT와 gradient method를 이용하여 블레이드를 설계한 후 이에 대한 세밀한 유동장 해석을 위하여 CFD 기법을 적용하였다. CFD의 경우 해석시간의 문제로 설계단계에서의 적용에 어려움이 따른다. 따라서 설계 단계에서는BEMT를 적용하는 것이 적절하다. 그러나 BEMT의 경우 기법의 한계로 인하여 세밀한 유동의 해석에 어려움이 따른다. CFD의 경우 전체 유동장 및 블레이드 표면에서의 자세한 물성치 분석에 유리한 점을 가진다. 본 연구에서는 두가지 해석 기법의 장점을 살려 설계단계에서는 BEMT를 적용후 결과물인 블레이드 형상에 대하여 CFD 해석을 수행하여 유동장 해석을 하였다.

  • Here, we present a rare case of cardiac parasitic infection found in an adult female patient who had the symptoms of dyspnea upon exertion. She was diagnosed with a double-chambered right ventricle due to infundibular hypertrophy confirmed by transthoracic echocardiography and cardiac computed tomography. We performed surgery of infundibulectomy around the pulmonary valve. In the end, histopathological findings of the resected infundibular muscle demonstrated trichinellosis, a type of roundworm infection.

  • In a fault-tolerant modern manufacturing systms characterized by the configuration, in which automated redundant machines prone to unexpected failures are interconnected with other complex subsystems such as AGV's, robots, computer control systems to produce complete parts, faulures together with repairs and reconfigurations should be considered as the three basic events to be modeled for computing the performance of manufacturing systems. In this papre, transient analysis is applied to modular cell manufacturing systems form a performability viewpoint whose modeling adantage is that various performanc e measures can be evaluated compositely in the context of application. The hypothertical modular cells are modeled firstly with hybrid decomposition method and availability measures as special cases of performability are computed and comments on performabililty modeling analysis are mentioned.

  • 기술 개발과 산업화에 있어 현대 사회에서는 특허의 중요성이 점점 커지고 있다. 이 점은 풍력발전기 분야에서 역시 예외가 아니다. 따라서 기술 개발 이전에 해당 기술 분야에 대해 특허를 조사하고 특허맵을 구축하는 것이 필요하다. 또한 특허맵의 구축을 통하여 풍력 발전기 분야의 기술 개발 동향 및 경쟁 업체의 기술 개발 현황 등에 대하여 파악이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 풍력발전기의 레이아웃과 드라이브 트레인, 그리고 요 시스템에 대하여 해당 특허에 대한 조사 및 특허맵에 대하여 이야기 하고자 한다.
