  • This paper presents a developing algorithm of checking errors of feed mechanism in the NC machine tool with DAC method. It is useful to check static and dynamic rigidity with relation between lost motion and current of rotor. For checking error of feed in assembly tuning with machining center proposed checking algorithm is useful.

  • In this paper, a new measurement system has been developed for measuring servo errors of CNC machine tools. Unlike the ball link bar method using circular path, the developed system uses two orthogonal straight paths for measurement of errors, giving relatively short test length. For position measurment, linear displacement sensor and steel cube have been designed, and the software for relevant data sampling and error evaluation has been implemented.

  • Contents 1We developed a new type of lower part of the human-sized BWR (biped walking robot) driven by a new actuator based on the ball screw which has high strength and high gear ratio. Each leg of the robot is composed of three pitch Joints and one roll joint. In all, a 8 degree-of-freedom robot was developed. A new type of actuator for the robot is proposed, which is composed of four bar link mechanism driven by the ball screw. The BWR was designed to walk autonomously by adapting small DC motors for the robot actuators and has an embeded controller system including host computer, batteries and motor drivers. 초임계 $CO_2$를 이용한 Camptotheca acuminata에서 Camptothecin 및 10-hydroxycamptothecin 추출 (Supercritical $CO_2$ Extraction of Camptothecin and 10-hydroxycamptothecin from Camptotheca acuminata)

  • 순수한 초임계 이산화탄소를 이용하여 camptothecin(CPT)와 10-hydroxy camptothecin(HCPT) 추출 시험을 결과, 이들은 각각 유기용매 메탄올 추출에 비교하여 3%와 2% 밖에 추출되지 않았다. 보조용매로 메탄올과 에탄올을 이용하여 CPT와 HCPT를 추출하면 추출 효율이 상승됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 에탄올 보다 메탄올이 효율이 좋았다. 따라서 보조용매 적용에 관련된 여러 조건들을 최적화 하였다. 메탄올을 보조용매로 사용하는 경우에 보조용매의 농도가 증가할수록 추출 효율도 증가하였고 16% 이상에서는 추출 효율이 완만하게 증가하였다. 또한 추출은 온도에 따라 크게 영향을 받지 않아으나 온도에 따라 약간 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 초임계 추출에서 압력의 영향을 살펴본 결과 250 bar까지 압력이 증가할수록 추출 효율은 증가하였다. Acetate ion을 공급하여 추출 실험을 수행하였으나 CPT나 HCPT 모두 ion pairing agent의 영향은 없었다. 본 시스템과 같은 solid/fluid 추출 시스템에서 추출 효율에 영향을 크게 미치는 3가지 요소 (용해도, 확산, 및 matrix)중 확산의 영향을 살펴보았다. 여러 기하학적 모델 중 matrix가 구형인 hot-ball model로 확산게수를 계산하였다. 본 시스템에서 보조용매를 포함한 초임계 유체의 $D/r^2$ 값은 0.0072 $min^{-1}$로서 순수한 메탄올 유기용매 추출보다 큰 값을 보였다.

  • 지금까지 공작기계의 성능은 주로 기하학적 운동정도, 위치결정정도, 공작정도등의 시험 및 검사에의해 평가되어왔다. 그러나, 공작기계의 수치제어 System으로서의 평가는 충분히 행히지고있지 않았다. 원호절삭 정도시험으로서 Direct Test법은 공작물을 직접절삭하기 때문에공구나, 공작물의 영향을 받아서 공작기계의 운동정도만을 검사하는 것은 곤란하다. 그래서 직접 절삭하지않고 원호절삭 원동정도를 평가할 수 있는 방법으로서 Circular test법과 Double Ball Bar법이 개발 되어 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 상술한 2가지 방법의 대체 방법으로 간단하고 값싸게 제작할 수 있는 새로운 원호절삭 정도측정장치와 측정 system을 개발하여 이 측정기로측정한 원호형상과 Machining Center의 운동오차 요인과의 정량적으로 고찰하였다.

  • In this paper, we investigated 2-DOF haptic device and the method of virtual environment modeling for virtual reality. We designed an modified five bar link system to improve the performance. The haptic control system is composed of calculating kinematics and statics, controlling actuator, and describing the virtual environment. Using this system, we realized the virtual spring model and the freely falling ball model.

Configuration sensitivity analysis of mechanical dynamics

  • Design sensitivity is an important is an important device in improving a mechanical system design. A continuum design consists of the shape and orientation design. This research develops the shape and orientation design sensitivity method. The configura-tion design variables of multibody systems define the shape and orientation changes. The equations of motion are directly differentiated to obtain the governing equations for the design sensitivity. The governing equation of the design sensitivity is formulated as an over determined differential algebraic equation and treated as ordinary differential equations on mani-folds. The material derivative of a domain functional is performed to obtain the sensitivity due to shape and orientation changes. The configuration design sensitivities of a fly-ball governor system and a spatial four bar mechanism are obtained using the proposed method and are validated against those obtained from the finite difference method.

머신 비젼을 이용한 2축 스테이지의 마이크로 원형 궤적 실시간 측정 및 분석 (Real-time Measurement and Analysis for Micro Circular Path of Two-Axes Stage Using Machine Vision)

  • To verify the 2D or 3D positioning accuracy of a multi-axes stage is not easy, particularly, in the case the moving path of the stage is not linear. This paper is a study on a measuring method for the curved path accurately. A machine vision technique is used to trace the moving path of two-axes stage. To improve the accuracy of machine vision, a zoom lens is used for the 2D micro moving path. The accuracy of this method depends of the CCD resolution and array align accuracy with the zoom lens system. Also, a further study for software algorithm is required to increase the tracing speed. This technique will be useful to trace a small object in the 2D micro path in real-time accurately.

  • In recent years, it has been variously developed for testing the accuracy of circular motion of NC machine tools, for example Telescoping Ball Bar Method by Bryan,Circular Test Method by Knapp and r $_{- \theta}$ Mathod by Tsutsumi etc., but it is not yet settled in the code of measuring methods of motion errors of NC machine tools, because of errors of measuring units and sensors, and also especially the difficulties of centering of measuring units. In this paper, in use of magnetic type linear scale with resolution of 0.5 .mu. m and tick pulses come out from computer, it has become possible for detecting of linear displacement of radial errors and measuring of revolution angle of circular motion of NC machine tools.

  • It is very important to test circular motion accuracy of NC machine tools as it affects all other machines machined by them in industries. In this paper, it has become possible to detect errors of linear displacement of radial directions for circle tar motion accuracy test using newly assembled magnetic type of linear scale so called Magnescale ball-bar system. It has also organized computer program systems using tick pulses come out from computer for getting error motion data at colt start time interval in circular motion test on NC lathe. Error data gotten from test is expressed to plots and analysed to numerics by various statistical treatments.
