The partitioning problem is one of efficient issues on designing an excellent DVE. A brilliant partitioning method is related with assigning several avatars into the suitable servers with well balancing the growing requirement of bandwidth and computational resources in DVE. In this paper, a new method LCAA is proposed. The LCAA is a new partitioning method that balancing the CPU utilization of servers in DVE especially.
Objectives: Functional Cerebrospinal Therapy (FCST) is a rather new physiologic therapeutics. It has passed about two decades since its basic idea was founded. This study briefly reviewed its early history. Methods: The first FCST patient was a stroke patient in the year 1992. Basic ideas of FCST was devised one by one and later developed into a systematic clinical application. The first official lecture was held in the year 2004. Yinyang balance in the meridian-system-based network over the whole body was a mainstay idea. Results: As other stories on newly-developed therapeutics, there was an effort to make a breakthrough for difficult clinical problems, and followed by a creative initial idea along with incessant refinement in the early history of FCST. Conclusions: Patient-centered approaches was a mainspring in the development and refinement of FCST. History of FCST hereafter may well follow the trace.

The switch mode power supply is a source of EMI with other equipment as well as with its own proper operation because of rapid changes in voltages and currents within a switching converter. The EMI is transmitted in two forms: radiated and conducted. Conducted noise consists of two categories known as the differential mode and the common mode. Common mode noise current is a major source of EMI in the switch mode Power supply. Recently, a current balancing technique has been studied to reduce the common mode noise. This paper investigates the reduction of common mode noise according to a node expansion of the switch mode power supply which is based on a current balancing technique. In this paper, seven PCB patterns of the forward converter are manufactured and experimented.

This research develops dispatching rule for a wafer FABs with dedication constraints. Dedication, mostly considered in a photolithography step, is a feature in a modern FABs in order to increase the yield of machines and achieve the advance of manufacturing technology. However, the dedication has the critical problem because it causes dedication load of machines to unbalance. In this paper, we proposes the dedication load based dispatching rule for load balancing in order to resolve the problem. The objective of this paper is to balance dedication load of photo machines in wafer FABs with dedication constraint. Simulation experiments show that the proposed rule improves the performance of wafer FABs as well as load balance for dedication machines compared to open-loop control based conventional dispatching rule.

A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is an infrastructureless network that supports multi-hop communication. For the MANET nodes wishing to communicate with nodes in the wired Internet, the global Internet connectivity is required and this functionality can be achieved with the help of the Internet gateway. For the support of reliability and flexibility, multiple Internet gateways can be provisioned for a MANET. In this case, load-balancing becomes one of the important issues since the network performance such as the network throughput can be improved if the loads of the gateways are well-balanced. In this paper, we categorize the load-balancing mechanisms and propose a new metric for load-balancing. Simulation results show that our proposed mechanism using the hop distance and the number of routing table entries as a load-balancing metric enhances the overall network throughput.

The purpose of this study is to describe the effects of temporomandibular joint balancing therapy on a patient with a spinal accessory neuropathy. A patient reported sternocleidomastoid muscle and trapezius muscle weakness after self-massage. The patient was instructed to wear the Accurate Balancing Appliance (ABA) for at least 8 hours per day and maintain an upright posture. The patient received cervical spine manipulation on day 2, 4, and 6. The patient's progress was tracked based on the angle at which the head turned to the right from the midline when she lifted her head while lying down, as well as the muscle strength and pain in the right trapezius muscle. The patient recovered spontaneously after 7 days. The ABA and cervical spine manipulation assisted the patient in reducing fatigue and discomfort during daily activities.
Long-Term Evolution employs a hard handover procedure. To reduce the interruption of data flow, downlink data is forwarded from the serving eNodeB (eNB) to the target eNB during handover. In cellular networks, unbalanced loads may lead to congestion in both the radio network and the backhaul network, resulting in bad end-to-end performance as well as causing unfairness among the users sharing the bottleneck link. This work focuses on congestion in the transport network. Handovers toward less loaded cells can help redistribute the load of the bottleneck link; such a mechanism is known as load balancing. The results show that the introduction of such a handover mechanism into the simulation environment positively influences the system performance. This is because terminals spend more time in the cell; hence, a better reception is offered. The utilization of load balancing can be used to further improve the performance of cellular systems that are experiencing congestion on a bottleneck link due to an uneven load.
It is well known that the family-mold has an advantage to reduce the cost for production and mold. However, defects are frequently occurred by over packing the smaller volume cavity during molding, especially when the family-mold has a volumetric difference between two cavities. In this study, the cavity-filling imbalance was confirmed by the temperature and the pressure sensors, and a variable-runner system was developed for balancing the cavity-filling. Experiments of balancing the cavity filling was carried out in the family-mold with the variable-runner system, and balancing the cavity-filling was confirmed by changing the cross-sectional area of a runner in the variable-runner system with the temperature and pressure sensors. The influence of the injection speed to the balancing-capability of the variable-runner system was also examined in the experiment.

In this paper, we propose a slot scheduling algorithm for balancing power consumption in tree-based sensor networks. In this type of networks, nodes with lower depths tend to consume more energy than those with higher depths, thereby reducing the life time of the network. The proposed algorithm allocates a series of receiving slots first and then a series of sending slots. This way of slot allocation eases packet aggregation and filtering, and thus reduces traffic load on nodes near a sink. We compare the proposed algorithm and the frame-slot allocation algorithm employed in the TreeMAC by resorting to simulation. The simulation results showed that the proposed approach well achieves the balancing of power consumption.
During the start-up of 500 MW class coal-fired power plant, abnormal shaft vibration was occurred on bearings installed on both side of high and intermediate pressure steam turbine. Shaft vibration was analyzed to investigate the reason and find the resolution, based on well-known theory in this study. Typical vibration characteristics which occur when rotating parts contact with stationary parts were observed at the analysis of frequency, amplitude and phase angle. The reason of abnormal vibration was assumed to be rub and internal parts wear was observed during repair period. As a result of applying low speed turning and balancing for resolution of abnormal vibration, balancing was more effective for rub removal. So balancing could be excellent resolution in the case of abnormal vibration which is similar to this study.
