Effects of Y-Balance Test Difference of the Ankle Dorsi-flexion Range of Motion in K3 Soccer Players

  • 본 연구의 목적은 비 체중지지 자세 상태에서 발목관절 발등굽힘 관절가동범위에 따라 동적 균형 능력을 평가하는 Y-Balance Test와의 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구에는 10년 이상의 축구경력을 가진 K3리그에 정기적으로 참여하는 남자축구선수 27명이 참여하였다. 발목관절의 발등굽힘과 동적균형 능력과의 관계를 검증하기 위해 The Pearson Rank Correlation Coefficient를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과 HADR군에서 PLRD(P<.05)와 CS(P<.01)에서 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 발목관절 발등굽힘의 관절가동범위와 PMRD, PLRD 및 CS에서만 중증도의 유의한 상관관계가 나타났다. 따라서 발목관절 발등굽힘의 감소는 균형 능력 감소와 관련이 있으며, 축구선수의 손상을 예방하기 위해서는 정기적인 발목관절 관절가동범위의 평가뿐만 아니라 무릎과 엉덩관절의 근력 및 고유수용감각을 향상시키기 위한 트레이닝이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

정적자세에서 유도된 비정시의 유형에 따른 신체균형의 변화 (Changes of Body Balance on Static Posture According to Types of Induced Ametropia)

  • 목적: 정적자세에서 유도된 비정시가 신체균형에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 방법: 평균 연령 $23.4{pm}2.70$세의 20명(남 10, 여 10)을 대상으로 ${pm}0.50D$, ${\pm}1.00D$, ${\pm}1.50D$, ${\pm}2.00D$, ${\pm}3.00D$, ${\pm}4.00D$, ${\pm}5.00D$의 렌즈를 사용하여 비정시(양안근시, 단순근시성부동시, 양안원시, 단순원시성부동시)를 유도하였다. TETRAX the biofeedback system을 이용하여 신체안정성지수, 체중분포지수, 낙상지수를 측정하였다. 신체균형 검사는 각 조건 당 32초간 측정되었고, 반복측정 후 완전교정상태에서 측정한 값과 비교하였다. 결과: 안정성지수는 양안근시의 경우 +0.50 D부터, 단순근시성부동시의 경우 +1.00 D부터, 양안원시의 경우 -1.00 D부터, 단순원시성부동시의 경우 -1.50 D부터 완전교정상태와 비교하여 유의하게 증가되었다. 낙상지수는 양안근시의 경우 +4.00 D부터, 양안원시의 경우 -1.00 D부터, 단순원시성부동시의 경우 -1.50 D부터 유의하게 증가되었다. 모든 비정시 유형에서 체중분포지수의 변화는 없었다. 결론: 비정시의 유형에 상관없이 굴절이상의 미교정은 신체균형의 전반적인 안정성을 감소시키고, 낙상의 위험도를 증가시킬 수 있다.

집중체중 이동훈련이 뇌성마비 아동의 체간조절 능력에 미치는 영향: 사례연구 (The Effect of Intensive Weight Shift Training on Seated Postural Balance in Children With Spastic Cerebral Palsy: A Case Study)

  • 목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 경직성 뇌성마비아동의 앉은 자세균형에 대한 집중체중 이동훈련의 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 경직성 사지마비로 진단 받은 11세 여자를 대상으로 ABA 실험설계를 이용하여 8주간 실험을 진행하였다. 기초선(A1)에서 일반 물리치료를 수행하였고, 중재 중(B1, B2)에서 일반 물리치료와 집중체중 이동훈련을 실시하였으며, 중재 후(A'1, A'2)에서 다시 일반 물리치료를 실시하였다. 체간조절능력은 한국형 체간조절 측정척도(TCMS-K)와 균형측정시스템(Biorescue, RM Ingenierie, France)를 사용하여 측정하였다. 연구결과 : 한국형 체간조절 측정척도의 모든 항목이 집중체중 이동훈련 기간 중에 증가하였다. 또한 안정성한계 면적이 집중체중 이동훈련 기간 중에 증가하였고 왼쪽/오른쪽 그리고 앞/뒤 안정성한계 면적이 집중체중 이동훈련 기간 중에 대칭적이었다. 결론 : 집중체중 이동훈련이 경직성 뇌성마비 아동의 체간조절 능력을 개선하는데 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 본 연구는 집중체중 이동훈련이 경직성 뇌성마비 아동의 독립적 앉기, 자세조절, 일상생활을 위한 균형능력 개선에 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

Effect of Scapular Brace on the Pulmonary Function and Foot Pressure of Elderly Women with Forward Head Posture

  • Purpose: Changes in the curvature of the vertebral columns of elderly women with increasing age causes various side effects and disorders. Therefore, this study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the 8-figure scapular brace to improve pulmonary function and balance ability based on lung capacity and foot pressure by increasing the vertebral curvature. Methods: Seventeen elderly women with a forward head posture were selected. Women were asked to wear the 8-figure scapular brace and the forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1) and forced vital capacity (FVC) were measured, as were changes in foot pressure. Measurements were conducted three times each and the mean values were used for subsequent analyses. For static evaluation, we used the paired t-test to identify differences between pre and post values. Results: There was no significant difference in FEV1 and FVC before and after use of the brace (p>0.05); however, there was a significant decrease in forefoot pressure and an increase in rearfoot pressure following application of the brace (p<0.05). Conclusion: Application of the 8-figure scapular brace to correct vertebral curvature in elderly women influenced pressure distribution change from immediate effect body arrange of cervical and thoracic. However, wearing the 8-figure scapular brace may interfere with expansion of the chest and therefore respiratory muscle activity. Accordingly, it is necessary to apply appropriate treatment when wearing a scapular brace and to allow a sufficient intervention period while also providing therapeutic interventions such as posture correction or respiration training.

사진측정(寫眞測定)에 의한 중국(中國) 20대(代) 남성(男性)의 하반신(下半身) 형태(形態) 분류(分類) (Lower Body Shape Classification of Chinese Males in Their 20s by Analyzing Photographic Measurement)

  • Photographic measurement was first made with the subjects of 190 males in their 20s residing in the Ningbo area, Zhejiang Province in China. In this second report, lower body shapes were classified and discriminated by using indirect measurement, measurement items, and lower body analysis. The following sums up the research: 1. The subjects were $8.85^{\circ}$ (hip breadth angle), $1.58^{\circ}$ (abdomen upper angle), $11.80^{\circ}$ (hip upper angle), and $5.12^{\circ}$ (lateral lower body posture angle). 2. The subjects of Chinese males in their 20s showed three types of lower bodies: Bow Legs & Slight Slant of Lateral Lower Body Type (30.5%)-gap between legs, curve waist-hip contour, average abdomen-hip profile, and lateral lower body posture were slightly slanted forward. Adjacent Straight Legs & Slight Slant of Lateral Lower Body Type (35.8%)-adjacent straight between legs, curve waist-hip contour, slim abdomen-hip profile, and lateral lower body posture were slightly slanted forward. Balance Legs & Large Slant of Lateral Lower Body Type (33.7%)-average between legs, straight waist-hip contour, protruding hip profile, and lateral lower body posture were largely slanted forward. 3. Eight useful variables for the categorization of the subjects' lower body types were chosen through stepwise discriminant analysis, and the hit ratio of discrimination was 97.9%.

역진자형 자주로보트의 2차원 평면에서 궤도주행제어에 관한 연구 (Trajectory Tracking Control of the Wheeled Inverse Pendulum Type Self - Contained Mobile Robot in Two Dimensional Plane)

  • In this paper, we discuss on the control algorithm to make the wheeled inverse pendulum type mobile robot move in two dimensional plane. The robot considered in this paper has two independently driven wheels in same axel which suport and move it-self, and is assumed to have the fyro type sensor to know the inclination algle of the body and rotary encoders to know wheel's rotation angular velocity. The control algorithm is divided into three parts. The first part is for the posture and velocity control for forward-backward direction, the second is the steering control, and the last part is for the control of total system to track the given trajectory. We handle the running velocity control of the robot as part of the posture control to keep the balance because the posture relates deeply with the velocity and can be controlled by the velocities of the wheels. The control problem is analyzed as the tracking control, and the controller is realized with the state feedback and feed-forward of the reference velocity. Constructing the control system which contained one intergrator in forward path, we also realized the control system without observer for the estimation of the accumulated errors in the inclination angle of the body. To prevent the robot from being unstable state by sudden variation of the reference velocity when it starts and stops, or changes velocity, the reference velocity of which acceleration is slowly changing, is ordered to the robot. To control its steering, we give the different reference velocities for both wheels which are calculated from the desired angular velocity of the body. Finally, we presents the experimental results of the experimental robot Yamabico Kurara in which the proposed control algorithm had been implemented.

The immediate effects of foot pressure based insole on ankle dorsiflexion range of motion, postural sway, and muscle activation in healthy adults with genu varum

  • Objective: The purpose of this research was to determine the immediate effects of wearing a foot-pressure-based insole (FPBI) on ankle dorsiflexion range of motion (DFROM), postural sway, and muscle activation in healthy individuals with genu varum. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: This study was conducted on thirteen adults, with six male and seven females subjects. The mean age was 24.08 years. Foot pressure was measured to apply the FPBI and the weight bearing lunge test was performed with the application of a flat insole (FI) and FPBI. Examination was randomly performed in four conditions to measure both postural sway and muscle activation. All participants applied both the FI and FPBI with four conditions. The four conditions were as follows: 1) Romberg test posture with eyes closed, 2) Romberg test posture with eyes opened, 3) dominant single leg standing with eyes opened, and 4) non-dominant single leg standing with eyes opened. Results: For ankle DFROM between the FI and FPBI, a significant increase was observed in both the dominant and non-dominant leg (p<0.05). For postural sway between the FI and FPBI in the Romberg test posture with eyes closed and dominant single leg standing with eyes opened conditions, a significant decrease was observed (p<0.05). However, the postural sway between FI and FPBI in the Romberg test posture with eyes opened and non-dominant single leg standing with eyes opened, no significant decrease was observed. Also, there were no significant effects on muscle activation between the application of the FI and FPBI. Conclusions: The result showed that FPBI immediately improved ankle DFROM and postural sway. It seems that FPBI may improve genu varum in healthy individuals with genu varum.

플라이오메트릭 트레이닝이 태권 시범 선수들의 서전트 점프, 자세 조절 및 하체 부상 준거에 미치는 영향 (Effects of plyometric training on Sargent jump, posture control and lower extremity injury criterion in Taekwondo demonstrator)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 6주간의 플라이오메트릭 트레이닝이 태권 시범선수의 서전트 점프, 자세 조절 및 하체 부상 준거에 미치는 영향을 보고자 하였다. 이 연구에 참여한 대상자는 대학 태권 시범선수 20명을 대상으로 운동군 10명과 통제군 10명을 무작위로 분류하였다. 운동군은 주 3회, 60분, 6주간 실시하였고, 통제군은 일반적인 훈련을 하였으며, 사전 사후 서전트 점프, 배근력, 자세 조절 및 하체 부상 준거를 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 배근력에서는 유의하지 않았으나 서전트 점프에서는 유의한 증가가 있었다. 자세조절에서는 앞쪽은 경우 유의하지 않았으나 좌·우 후방 외쪽과 안쪽에서는 유의한 증가가 있었고, 종합점수 결과 하체 부상의 위험성은 없는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 플라이오메트릭 트레이닝은 순발력, 자세 조절, 하체 부상 방지 및 재활에 적극적으로 활용할 필요가 있는 훈련 방법이다.

  • It was to study a following research of "A Kinematical Traits Analysis when Performing Uchimata(inner thigh reaping throw) by Posture and Voluntary Resistance Levels(VRL) of Uke in Judo[1]" and. "A Case Study of Center of Gravity(COG) when Performing Uchimata(inner thigh reaping throw) by Posture and Voluntary Resistance Levels(VRL) of Uke in Judo[II]". The purpose of this study was to analyze an angular momentum of trunk and lower extremity when performing uchimata by two postures and voluntary resistance levels(VRL) of uke(reciver) in Judo. The subjects, who were one male judoka(YH) for 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games Olympian(silver medalist), was filmed on two S-VHS 16mm video cameras(60fields/sec.) through 3-dimensional motion analysis methods, that postures of uke were shizenhontai (straight natural posture:NP) and jigohontai (straight defensive posture:DP), VRL of uke were 0% and 100%, respectively. The variables were angular momentum of trunk, lower extremity of attacking leg and supporting leg of tori(the thrower). The data of this study collection were digitized by SIMI Motion Program computed the mean values and the standard deviation calculated for each variables. When performing uchimata according to each posture and VRL of uke and classifying. From the data analysis and discussion, the conclusions were as follows : Angular momentum of trunk when performing uchimata was showed the largest among another angular momenta, and the posture displayed more different than resistant of uke(reciver), but the pattern similar in judo. Angular momentum of trunk of X axis was the largest and Y, Z axis order. Angular momentum of attacking the thigh-leg when performing uchimata was showed the largest among another angular momenta, and the posture displayed more different than resistant of uke(reciver), X axis and Y axis similar, but angular momentum of Z axis of thigh-leg the largest, in kake(application) event in 0% resistance of DP than other variables. Angular momentum in X,Y axis of attacking the lower-leg when performing uchimata was showed that the resistance level displayed more different than posture, but Z axis the largest, in kake(E3) phase in 0% resistance of DP than other variables as same thigh-leg, and the largest from tsukuri(set-up:E2) to kake(E3) phase. X and Z axis Angular momentum of supporting the thigh-leg were similar, regardless of posture and resistance of uke, but Y axis was resistance level. Angular momentum of supporting the thigh-leg was showed the largest in X axis, increased from EO event to E2, and decreased in E3, and angular momenta of Y, X axis were showed the largest in kuzushi(balance breaking) phase when performing uchimata. Angular momentum of supporting the lower leg were similar pattern, regardless of posture and resistance of uke, in Y axis, resistance displayed more difficult the position in NP, and showed opposite angular momentum in tsukuri phase. In conclusion, angular momentum of trunk when performing uchimata was showed the largest, and pattern was similar, regardless of posture than resistant of uke(reciver), magnitude and direction were different each other, and uchimata was Ashi -waza(foot and leg techniques) division but important of trunk action.

Biomechanical Analysis of Human Balance Control

  • A single-inverted-pendulum model is presented to simulate and predict the passive response of human balance control. This simplified biomechanical model was comprised of a torsional spring and damper, and a lump mass. An estimation of frequency response function was conducted to parameterize the complexity. The frequency domain identification method is used to identify the parameters of the model. The equivalent viscoelastic parameters of standing body were obtained and there was good conformity between the simulation and experimental result.
