실내화, 책상, 책가방의 위생학적 고찰 (A Bacteriological Study on the Indoor-Shoes, Desk and Bag of Student의s)

  • A bacteriological research of the school desks, bags and indoor-shoes was made from Oct. 2, 197 through May 28, 1976. The research included one girl's middle school, two boy's middle schools, two boy's high schools and 15 girl's high schools, alltogether 244 students from 28 schools, The research was analyzed and the results are as follows: 1) The research showed that 95% of the indoor-shoes materials were of cloth. Only 13% of the students carried the indoor-shoes in shoes sacks and 84.8% of them kept the shoes in schoolbags with books and lunchbox. 2) Only 5% of them cleaned their shoes every week and 79% cleaned every six. 3) 49.3% of the students kept the indoor-shoes in the school bag with other contents at home. 4) 88% of the bag was made of vinyl and 24.8% of the students carried their lunch in their bag without lunch box. 5) The research showed that 79.1% of the students never cleaned their bags. 6) In using the desk drawer, 58.2% of the students put their out-door shoes into the drawer, 18.9% of them kept their lunch in it, 11.9% used it keeping books alone and 11% keeping school bags with books. 7) 30.4% of the students had an experience of having cleaned their desks and 69.6% were unconcerned wirh desk-cleaning. 8) 34.4% of the indoor-shoes using school showed fecal coliform positive, 40.2% showed non-fecal coliform positive and 25.4% showed no reaction to IMViC. 9) The 34.4% of the fecal coliform positive showing schools, equivalant to 77 students, was composed of zero percents of girl's middle school, 18.2% of girl's high school, 36.4% of boy's middle school and 45.4% of boy's high school. 10) Among the 77 students, whose shoes showed fecal coliform positive, only 6.5% of them cleaned their shoes once in a week or a month and 62.3% of them cleaned them once in a six month. 11) The fccal coliform positive rate was higher in the cloth shoes materials than the vinyl materials. 12) The concrete-bottomed building higher positive rate (40.2%) than the wood-bottomed building (7.5%). 13) Even among the student's who frequently cleaned their desk drawer, 2.3% were in the positive, and among those who were unconcerned with drawer cleaning, 48.9% were involved in the positive. 14) In the fecal coliform positive rate of bags, 38.5% of the positive rate belonged to using indoor shoes while cleaning their class bottom with water, 53.8% belonged to using outdoor shoes while cleaning their class bottom with water, 7.7% belonged to using outdoor shoes while cleaning their class with oil.

'부유' 단감의 MA포장 조건에 따른 포장기체조성 및 과실의 품질 변화 (Package Atmosphere and Quality as Affected by Modified Atmosphere Conditions of Persimmon (Diospyros kaki. cv. Fuyu) Fruits)

  • '부유' 단감의 MA포장 조건에 따라 $0^{\circ}C$ 저온저장 중 포장내 공기조성 및 과실의 품질 변화를 조사하였다. 처리내용은 포장방법을 1개 열접착, 5개 열접착, 5개 손결속으로 하고, 포장지 두께는 각각 0.03 ㎜, 0.05 ㎜, 0.06 ㎜로 하였다. 조사 결과, 저장 중 포장내 free-volume은 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 특히 열접착 처리구의 free-volume은 처리간 시기적 차이는 있었으나 저장 중 완전히 감소하였다. free-volume의 감소 속도는 포장단위가 크고, 포장지 두께가 얇을수록 빨랐다. 저장중 포장내 산소 농도는 $1.1{\sim}17.1%$, 이산화탄소 농도는 $1.1{\sim}8.3%$ 수준이었고, 저장기간 중 산소 농도는 감소하고, 이산화탄소는 증가하는 경향이었고 포장지가 얇을수록 산소 농도는 높고 이산화탄소 농도는 낮았다. 또한 저장중 이산화탄소 농도가 $4.0{\sim}8.3%$ 수준으로 높게 유지되고, 산소 농도가 $1.1{\sim}4.0%$로 낮게 안정상태로 유지된 0.05 ㎜, 0.06 ㎜ 5개 포장구에서 경도가 높게 유지되었으나, 저장 20주 후 이산화탄소 농도가 8.3%까지 높아진 0.06 ㎜ 5개 열접착 포장구에서 과육갈변과의 발생이 가장 많았다. 반면 산소 농도가 상대적으로 높고 이산화탄소 농도가 비교적 낮은 0.03 ㎜ 포장구와 1개 포장구는 과피흑변과의 발생이 많았다.

훈제 고등어를 이용한 필렛형 조미료 및 복합 분말조미료의 개발 (Development of fillet-type seasoner and mixed powder-type seasoner using smoked mackerel)

  • In odor to develop fillet-type seasoner and mixed powder-type seasoner using smoked mackerel as primary material, processing conditions of the mackerel meat and flavoring extract from various materials were examined. The approximate composition of mackerel meat and mixed powde-type seasoner using mackerel as primary material were 10.9 and 11.7%, for moisture 79.1 and 57.2% for crude protein, 5.3 and 2.9% for crude lipid, and 4.3 and 24.6% for crude ash, respectively. It was suitable to simmer raw mackerel in 3% chitooligosaccaride solution at 8$0^{\circ}C$ for 10 min., for the enhancement of reaction their meat and chitooligosaccharide. Considering effect of type of woodsmoke on organoletic properties of mackerel after smoking, oak and mixture(oak wood + citrus wood = 1 : 1) were superior to another woodsmoke, the smoking conditions favoring the most overall preference were 8$0^{\circ}C$, 25min. for smoking time, 20$0^{\circ}C$, 20min. for baking, and 10$0^{\circ}C$. 4hrs. for drying. The optimal material mixing ratio for mixed powder-type seasoner was powder of smoked mackerel 60%, dried anchovy 15%, dried sea tangle 10%. The most appropriate extraction condition of mixed powder seasoner with packing tea bag(10g/bag) was 98$^{\circ}C$ for 5min. in the boiling water.

Determination of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) Using Tedlar Bag/Solid-phase Microextraction/Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (SPME/GC/MS) in Ambient and Workplace Air

  • SPME techniques have proven to be very useful tools in the analysis of wide VOCs in the air. In this study, we estimated VOCs in ambient and workplace air using a Tedlar ba /SPME/GC/MS system. The calibration curve was set to be linear over the range of 1-30 ppbv. The detection limits ranged from 10 pptv to 0.93 ppbv for all VOCs. Reproducibility of TO-14 target gas mixtures by SPME/GC/MS averaged at 8.8 R.S.D (%). Air toxic VOCs (hazardous air pollutants, HAPs) containing a total of forty halohydrocarbons, aromatics, and haloaro-matic carbons could be analyzed with significant accuracy, detection limit and linearity at low ppbv level. Only reactive VOCs with low molecular weight, such as chloromethane, vinylchloride, ethylchloride and 1,2-dichloro-ethane, yielded relatively poor results using this technique. In ambient air samples, ten VOCs were identified and quantified after external calibration. VOC concentration in ambient and workplace air ranged from 0.04 to 1.85 ppbv. The overall process was successfully applied to identify and quantify VOCs in ambient/workplace air.

향류식 열교환기에 의하여 멸균된 된장의 미생물군 및 색도 (Microflora and Color of Soybean Paste Sterilized by Counterflow Hat Exchanger)

  • To develop a large scale countercurrent single pass heat exchanger for continuous transportation and sterilization of soybean paste, microflora and color value of sterilized soybean paste were examined at various sterile condition. Aerobes, anaerobes, molds, yeasts and lactic acid bacteria were 5.1 x 107 CFU/g, 7.1 x 107 CFU/g, 2.6 x 105 CFU/g, 4.3 x 106 CFU/g, 1.3 x 107 CFU/g, respectively in raw soybean paste. In gold band ampoule test, aerobes and anaerobes of soybean paste were viable up to 90$^{\circ}C$, but become unviable at 100$^{\circ}C$. Molds decreased rapidly and yeasts decreased slowly from 70$^{\circ}C$. Lactic acid bacteria were unviable at 60$^{\circ}C$ within 10 min. In color test, Hunter L, a, and b values of soybean paste were 50.2, +5.6, and +17.8, respectively. After heating in polyethylene film bag at 80$^{\circ}C$, Hunter values were not so much changed and become 50.2, +4.7, and +19.7, respectively. The micorflora and color of soybean paste sterilized in a large scale heat exchanger system resulted in very similar to those of gold band ampoule and polyethylene film bag by effective heat transfer.

백령느타리 신품종 '우람'의 육성 및 특성 (Breeding and characteristics of Uram, a New Variety of Pleurotus nebrodensis)

  • 국내육성 품종의 부족과 자실체 발생이 불안정한 단점을 보완하고 병해에 강한 백령버섯 신품종 육성을 위해 2015년부터 국내외에서 유전자원을 수집하고 특성검정 후 교배, 특성검정, 생산력 검정, 농가실증 등의 과정을 통해 육성한 백령버섯 신품종 '우람'의 주요 특성은 다음과 같다. 균사생장적온은 26~29℃, 발이 및 생육온도는 15~18℃, 갓형태 평편형, 갓색 백색으로 대조품종(KME 65035)과 유사하였다. 초발이소요일수는 병재배 시 5일, 봉지재배 시 6일로 대조품종보다 2~4일 짧았다. 대직경은 32.6~37.0 mm로 대조품종 44.3~53.1 mm보다 작았으나, 자실체장은 130.4 mm로 대조품종 114.8~115.2 mm보다 길었다. 자실체 유효경수는 병재배 시 1.8개, 봉지재배 시 2.9개로 대조품종보다 많았다. 발이율은 93.3~100%로 대조품종 보다 안정적이었다. 병재배 및 봉지재배 시 수량은 각각 173.1 g/병(1,100cc), 283.4 g/봉지(1.2 kg)으로 대조품종 138.0 g/병(1100cc), 197.4 g봉지(1.2 kg) 보다 25~44% 높았다. 모본 및 대조품종과 대치 배양시 대치선이 뚜렷하였고, 균사체 DNA PCR반응 결과, 밴드패턴이 모본 및 대조품종과 다른 양상을 보여 교배종임을 확인할 수 있었다.

느타리버섯의 신품종 육성 연구 -병·봉지재배용 신품종 『다조아』 느타리버섯의 특성- (Characteristics of a new oyster mushroom variety 『Dajoa』 for the bottle and poly prophylene plastic bag culture)

  • 느타리버섯의 품종 다양화를 위해 단핵균주교잡에 의해 육성된 다조아느타리버섯의 주요특성은 다음과 같다. 가. 균사생장적온은 $26{\sim}28^{\circ}C$이고 버섯발생 및 생육온도는 $15{\sim}18^{\circ}C$이다. 나. 갓색은 회색이고 얕은 깔대기형이며 발이수가 많다. 다. 병재배시 배양일수는 $20^{\circ}C$에서 24일, 초발이 소요일수는 3.4일이며 대형태는 굵고 짧은형으로 농가실증시험에서 병당수량은 140.7g으로 높은 편이었다. 라. 봉지재배시 배양일수는 $20^{\circ}C$에서 21일, 초발이 소요일수는 4.2일이며 대형태는 굵고 짧은형이었고 농가실증 시험에서 봉지당 수량은 260.3g을 나타냈다. 마. 버섯의 균일성에 있어서 갓색과 갓형태의 이형개체 발생은 없었고, 균사생장량 및 종균배양기간에서도 지역간 균일한 결과를 나타내었다. 바. 세균성 갈변병 중 Pseudomonas agarici와 푸른곰팡이병 Trichoderma virens에 대해서는 저항성을 나타내었으나 실증재배시 과습한 환경관리 농가에서는 갈변병이 2~4%발생되었다. 사. 다조아느타리버섯은 균사활력이 강하고 병, 봉지재배 적응성이 높은편이나 발이량이 많아 초기 환기량이 많이 요구되고 후기에는 환기량을 줄여 관리하는 것이 좋다.

Further Modifications to the Mobile Nylon Bag Technique to Determine Nutrient Digestibility for Swine

  • Previous studies conducted with swine have reported that the mobile nylon bag technique (MNBT) does not always accurately predict in vivo nutrient digestibilities. Therefore, in this study, the MNBT was modified so that nutrient digestibilities would more closely resemble those from conventional (Con) digestibility studies obtained using the indicator method. A total of 19 feeds were tested including five cereal grains, five legumes, three high protein sources and six mixed diets. The principle changes to the MNBT included the use of a fecal collection harness which minimized the number of bags lost. In addition, previous protocols involved pooling of bags within pig while in the present experiment all bags were analyzed separately to increase the precision of the test. Finally, chemical analyses were done using the entire nylon bag plus residue rather than opening.the bags and scraping out the contents. With the exception of the barley sample (p=0.01), dry matter digestibility (DMD) coefficients obtained with the MNBT were not significantly different from those obtained with the indicator method. The linear regression equation relating the MNBT to the indicator method was Con DMD=-O.77+1.02 MNBT DMD ($r^2=0.93$: p<0.0001). There was no significant (p>0.05) difference in gross energy digestibility (GED) coefficients determined using the MNBT or the indicator method for any of the 19 feeds. The regression line equation relating the MNBT to the indicator method was Con GED=-5.68+1.06 MNBT GED ($r^2=0.94$: p<0.0001). The MNBT was less effective in predicting in vivo crude protein digestibility (CPD) than it was in predicting dry matter and energy digestibility. Differences greater than five percentage units were observed for two of the legumes, Kabuli chickpeas (p=0.02) and the extruded pea-canola seed mixture (p=0.01) as well as for three of the mixed diets including the unheated hulled barley-based diet (p=0.01), the unheated hulless-barley based diet (p=0.08) and the barley-soybean meal based diet (p=0.008). The regression equation relating the MNBT to the indicator method was Con CPD=5.75 + 0.90 MNBT CPO ($r^2=0.76$; p<0.0001). This study indicates that the modified MNBT can be used for the rapid determination of dry matter and energy digestibility in a wide variety of ingredients. For the measurement of crude protein digestibility, the technique produces results similar to conventional digestibility studies for cereal grains and high protein feeds but tends to overestimate protein digestibility for legumes and mixed diets.

바이오매스 가스화 발전설비의 목질계 타르폐수 응집 처리 특성 (Characteristics of Coagulation Treatment for Wood Tar Waste Water in a Biomass Gasification Plant)

  • 목질계 연료를 사용하는 발전시설에서 세정되어 나오는 목질계 타르 폐수는 간헐적 발생, 발생량 및 발생농도의 변화가 심하여 제거에 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 목질계 타르폐수를 기존의 bag filter와 활성탄을 이용한 처리방법에서 개선하여 물리 화학적 처리를 통하여 처리특성을 살펴보았다. 목질계 타르폐수의 화학적인 발생성상은 페놀류의 함유량이 구아이아콜류(guaiacols)와 카보하이드레이트류(carbohydrates)에 비해 약 2배 이상 높게 나타났다. pH의 변화에 따라 NaOH와 PAC이 자동주입 되도록 설치하고 최종처리수의 pH, 탁도, SS를 살펴본 결과, 각각 5.9, 12.6 NTU, 15.1 mg/L로 발전설비의 순환수로서의 가능성을 확인하였다. 기존의 백필터(bag filter)를 이용한 물리적 처리공정에서의 화학물질의 제거효율은 약 20%였으며, 응집 및 침전을 통한 처리효율을 개선한 결과, 약 80%의 화학물질 제거효율을 나타내었다.

활성탄의 분무 여과에 의한 소각로 배가스 중의 유기 염소계 화합물의 제거 공정 연구 (A Study on the Activated Carbon Injection and Filtration Process for Removal of Chlorinated Organic Compound in the Incinerator Flue Gas)

  • 소각로 배가스 중의 유해물질중 다이옥신은 그 유해성이 알려지면서 심각한 사회문제로 대두되었다. 이러한 유해가스를 제거하기 위한 방법중의 하나인 활성탄의 분무 및 백필터의 여과 공정에 의한 유해물질 제거 효율을 조사하였다. 다이옥신은 그 독성이 강한 관계로 1,2-dichlorobenzene(o-DCB)을 전구물질로 사용하였으며, 공기 유량, 백필터 압력 손실, 백필터 운전온도, 활성탄 종류에 따른 o-DCB의 제거 효율을 조사하였다. 각 경우에 대한 실험 결과 소각로의 운전조건을 고려할 때 백필터에서의 운전온도 범위는 $140{\sim}170^{\circ}C$가 적합하며, 백필터에서의 압력손실은 백필터에 부착된 활성탄층에 의한 흡착성능을 고려할 때, $120mmH_2O$를 유지하는 것이 필요하였다. 활성탄과 규조토를 혼합하여 주입한 결과 활성탄과 동일량의 규조토를 투입할 시에는 90% 이상의 o-DCB를 제거할 수 있었고 또한 활성탄 투입량도 줄일 수 있었다.
