Rarely can it be anticipated that such a quality system as "Small group activity" of Japanese companies can be infused and placed as it is into Korean companies without any modification or troubles, as above two nations have developed and furnished their own social and cultural backgrounds. The effort to secure the aviation safety in each country of the world including our country, is one step more strengthening. For one of this effort, some advanced countries in aviation safety are operating the aviation incident reporting system, and in our country the aviation incident reporting system; Korea confidential incident reporting system is operated on Jan. 1. 2000. In this paper, the behaviour of charge carriers near the metal/polymer interface and its effects on conduction and breakdown phenomena are discussed. The metal/polymer interface strongly affects tarrier injection space charge formation and breakdown phenomena. Based on their experimental results, the physical backgrounds of the interfacial phenomena are explained.

The weather charts made at November 1, 1905 that were supposed to be the first daily weather chart in Korea were found and the contents of them were described and investigated. They were consisted of three sheets of paper. The first sheet consists of 2 kinds of weather charts. The second one does 6 kinds, and the third one is a table where 51 stations' records are in it. The diagnosing method and the historical background of the charts were explained. Although it is slim, the possibilities of the other earlier charts than these are explained also.

Open education has brought about new concept and variation in educational quality , schools have adopted open education since mid 1980s. Since then ,open education has developed in Korea, but do not fit to the Korean educational situation without some modification in educational space. In the study, some theoretical backgrounds of open education reviewed from some literature were applied, and introduced the flexibility of the open education, some results of the analysis of flexibility space and furniture system. The purpose of this study is to suggest some of direction in the open education space for more advanced Korean education situation.

As a preliminary work for the interrelations between individuals' learning style and their consumer decision-making styles in purchasing apparel, its theoretical backgrounds were reviewed. Several major approaches to measuring and characterizing learning styles were theories of Hunt, Schroder, Kolb, and sproles. - Relevant literature suggests several consumer decision-making styles including Morchis' and Sproles'. Researches on the practical' implication of theoretical learning styles model in the area of consumer decision-making styles were also explored.

Acute liver failure (ALF) is a very rare but devastating illness in children. Specific treatment to recovery is often not available, and the underlying cause of the liver failure is often unknown and diverse especially in children. Liver transplantation has increased the chance of survival; however it needs an optimal timing to reach the best result which is not familiar to pediatrician. This article discusses the current knowledge of the epidemiology, backgrounds and factors to be considered before establishing the treatment of ALF in children.

In recent studies on cefodizime, it may potentially have the capability of stimulating chemotactic activity of neutrophils and monocytes as well as the strong immuno-modulator. In turn, infection can result in a drastic change of mediators. which lead to initiate an immune response in an indirect way. With this backgrounds, we have studied to see if cefodizime can be a potential substance to induce an immunological function in dendritic cells and peritoneal macrophages. (omitted)

In this thesis, I have discussed the historical backgrounds of statistical education in kores from 1900 to present. And, I have compared statistical terminologies between theoretical statistics and applied statistics for the standardization of the statistical terminologies. Finally, I present some sugestion for the standardization of terminologies in statisetics.
