학력과 정보문화지수와의 상관관계 분석연구 (An Analysis Study on Correlation Between Academic Background and Information Culture Index)

  • 현대지식정보화사회에서 현대인들은 정보통신기술과 스마트기술 등 다양한 최신기술의 혜택을 누릴 수 있다. 다양한 최신기술의 혜택을 누리기 위해서 일정한 수준의 정보소양과 활용능력을 가져야 한다. 또한, 정보통신윤리에 대한 이해와 실천의지도 모두에게 필요하다. 한편 정보 소양과 활용능력을 측정하고 모형화하기 위해서는 일정한 표준이 필요하다. 이러한 점에서 정보문화지수는 정보소양과 활용능력을 측정하기 위해서 개발되었다. 정보문화지수는 3가지의 하위지표 즉 활용, 인식 및 규범으로 구성된다. 먼저 활용지표는 일상생활에서 정보화 내용과 기술이 어떻게 보편화되었는가에 관한 것이며, 인식지표는 정보문화공동체에서 어떻게 다른 사람을 존중하고 신뢰할 수 있는 가에 관한 것이다. 한편, 규범지표는 바람직한 정보통신윤리 의식에 따라 어떻게 정보통신서비스를 이용할 줄 아는 가에 관한 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 정보문화지수의 3가지 하위지표 즉 활용, 인식 및 규범과 학력과의 상관관계를 구하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 위해 국가차원에서 조사한 정보문화 연구결과를 기초로 하였다. 통계분석결과 인식과 규범은 학력과 유의미한 상관관계를 보이지 않은 반면 활용은 학력과 유의미한 상관관계를 나타내었다. 즉 학력이 높을수록 활용수준도 높아짐을 보였다. 본 연구는 향후 정보교육과 정보문화 확산에 있어서 중요한 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

  • The background and the existing problems in teaching of mathematics application were analyzed. Based on the mathematics knowledge which from the simple application, complicate application, and synthetically application to the mathematics modeling, the ability level test questions of mathematics application was worded out to help the teaching and learning in mathematics application.

  • In this study, we consider the application of the bifocusing method (BFM) for identifying the locations and shapes of small anomalies from scattering parameter data when the exact values of background permittivity and conductivity are unknown. To this end, an imaging function using numerical focusing operator is introduced and its mathematical structure is revealed by establishing a relationship with an infinite series of Bessel functions, antenna arrangements, and anomaly properties. On the basis of the revealed structure, we demonstrate why inaccurate location and size of anomalies were retrieved via the BFM. Some simulation results are illustrated using synthetic data polluted by random noise to support the theoretical result.

  • In this paper, we propose a depth-based mesh modeling method to generate virtual environment. The proposed algorithm constructs mesh model from unorganized point cloud obtained from a multi-view camera. We separate the point cloud consisting objects from the background. Then, we apply triangulation to each object and background. Since the objects and the background are modeled independently, it is possible to construct effective virtual environment. The application of proposed modeling method is applicable to entertainment, such as movie and video game and effective virtual environment generation.

  • The Resonance Scattering Theory(RST) provides the physical explanation of the scattered field that appears in the vicinity of the resonance frequency. The theory suggests that the amplitude of each Partial-wave mode can be divided into two components : resonance and non-resonant background. The long-standing difficulty in the application of RST is that it always requires background components. We have applied the RST to the electromagnetic scattering problems by a penetrable spherical scatterer and a cavity. In this paper, we show some numerical results, and validate background coefficients.

과학 수업에서 통합적 적용 경험에 따른 초등학교 교사들의 통합 과학 교육에 대한 인식 및 교과교육학 지식(PCK)의 차이 분석 (An Analysis of the Differences in Perceptions and Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) of Elementary Teachers depend on Application Experience of Integrated Science Education in the Elementary Science Class)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate significant differences between the application group and nonapplication group of integrated science education in the science class about elementary teachers' perceptions and PCK. The results are as follows. First, no significant differences were found about science teachers' fundamental background variables between the two groups. This results showed that the application of integrated science education didn't have relation with the fundamental background variables. It was found that the application group of integrated science education has a lower frequency than the application group, however, it has been analysed that the application group has been applied at the introduction stage for students' motivation, focused on biology as twice every month. Second, to apply a successful integrated education in the elementary science class, it has analysed that not only teachers should need to understand about application method and concept of integrated science education but also science textbook and teaching-learning material should be developed and diffused in the well-integrated science. Third, it was found that professionality of elementary teachers to teach the scientific content knowledge is not comparatively high and non-application group of integrated science education has a lower PCK than the application group. Therefore, it should be provided that not only training programmes to learn interdisciplinary knowledge related to science, can lead to more understanding about instructional design, teaching strategies and concept for integrated science education should be developed but also chances to participate in various training programmes should be provided to enhance elementary teachers' professionality for integrated science education.

Techniques for Background Updating under PTZ Camera Based Surveillance

  • PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera based surveillance systems are enlarging their field of application due to their wide observable area. We aimed to detect both static and moving objects in automated working space by using a PTZ camera. For object detection we used background difference method because of the high quality segmentation. However, the method has a problem called 'hole' that is caused by non-continuous surveillance of the PTZ camera and its own characteristics. Moreover, the occlusion which occurs when the moving object overlaps with the static object should be solved for robust object detection. In this paper, we suggest a region-based technique for updating background images thereby overcoming the hole and occlusion problem. Through experiments with real scenes, it was verified that meaningful static and/or moving objects were detected very well.

지능 영상 감시를 위한 흑백 영상 데이터에서의 효과적인 이동 투영 음영 제거 (An Effective Moving Cast Shadow Removal in Gray Level Video for Intelligent Visual Surveillance)

  • In detection of moving objects from video sequences, an essential process for intelligent visual surveillance, the cast shadows accompanying moving objects are different from background so that they may be easily extracted as foreground object blobs, which causes errors in localization, segmentation, tracking and classification of objects. Most of the previous research results about moving cast shadow detection and removal usually utilize color information about objects and scenes. In this paper, we proposes a novel cast shadow removal method of moving objects in gray level video data for visual surveillance application. The proposed method utilizes observations about edge patterns in the shadow region in the current frame and the corresponding region in the background scene, and applies Laplacian edge detector to the blob regions in the current frame and the corresponding regions in the background scene. Then, the product of the outcomes of application determines moving object blob pixels from the blob pixels in the foreground mask. The minimal rectangle regions containing all blob pixles classified as moving object pixels are extracted. The proposed method is simple but turns out practically very effective for Adative Gaussian Mixture Model-based object detection of intelligent visual surveillance applications, which is verified through experiments.

이동 객체 감시를 위한 실시간 객체추출 및 추적시스템 (Realtime Object Extraction and Tracking System for Moving Object Monitoring)

  • 실시간 영상에서 객체 추적은 수년간 컴퓨터 비전 및 여러 실용적 응용 분야에서 관심을 가지는 주제중 하나이다. 하지만 배경영상의 잡음을 객체로 인식하는 오류로 인하여 추출하고자 하는 객체를 찾지 못하는 경우가 있다 본 논문에서는 실시간 영상에서 적응적 배경영상을 이용하여 객체를 추출하고 추적하는 방법을 제안한다 입력되는 영상에서 배경영역의 잡음을 제거하고 조명에 강인한 객체 추출을 위하여 객체 영역이 아닌 배경영역 부분을 실시간으로 갱신함으로써 적응적 배경영상을 생성한다. 그리고 배경영상과 카메라로부터 입력되는 입력영상과의 차를 이용하여 객체를 추출한다. 추출된 객체는 내부점을 이용하여 최소사각영역을 설정하고, 이를 통해 객체를 추적한다. 아울러 제안방법의 성능에 대한 실험결과를 기존 추적알고리즘과 비교, 분석하여 평가한다.
