A Study on the Development of a VR Game to Experience the Fire Evacuation and its Effect Analysis (화재 탈출 체험 VR 게임 개발과 효과 분석)

  • In this research, a VR game was developed to experience the fire evacuation from a fired building, intending calm and fast reaction in urgent fire situations. The user should move out through the fire door, stairs and corridors toward exit door using the VIVE controllers. When the user can't proceed the path because of fire flame or smoke, he/she should turn back to find another path. A building of Hoseo university was modeled and tests were carried out by students with polls focused on the usability and the effectiveness of this VR game. The result has been analyzed to show their responses.

  • It followed in system development and SMRT(Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Co)System reached to an automatic train operation(ATO) and driverless operation(DLM) from the manual operation due to the train driver. The train like the general bus or the car vehicle was not serial riding in a car and the Parallel concept which the numerous passenger rides in a car simultaneously occur frequently the charge of the train driver unmanned bitterly from existing manual handling was a possibility of doing, train open door control(ODM) which bites also ATO, it handles it minimized. Like this ATO/DLM, the control system which bites being a Wayside to Train communication for immediacy, it is a system of the Vital concept the immediacy of the citizen Data evil the radio information transmission and the train of the interface which is accurate from unmanned operation and, will decipher, will accomplish it will guarantee. It respects the passenger accident prevention and an air question environment improvement from subway platform and phul leys the screen door of Platform(PSD) with the fire tube frost it refers and part it treats and to sleep it does, ODM which bites is accuracy and immediacy of altitude and when seeing from the viewpoint which demands the trust of altitude, ODM system the trust of car incest interface in the equipment construction which is safe and the comparative analysis back of the system analysis against the control which bites and case study and other subway system it leads from the research which it sees and signal - train in base grudge to sleep it contributes it does.

A Study for Pressure Difference and Critical Velocity by Pressurization of Elevator Shaft at High Rise Apartment (고층 공동주택의 승강로가압을 이용한 차압 및 방연풍속에 관한 연구)

  • It is not recommended that elevator use for egress at (super) high rise buildings because elevator shaft main roles to spread of fire smoke. But in North America used to protect this area by elevator shaft pressurization. These tests are performed at high rise apartment to verify that elevator shaft pressurization can protect to spread of fire smoke or not. and verify to used for egress at fire. Pressurization at elevator shaft make pressure difference of 50 Pa all floor at 150 CMM because this method have low friction loss from air flow. Also when dwelling door and elevator door are opened that critical velocity is performed to protect of back-layering from fire room for escape routs by 180 CMM. Therefore through out these pressurization tests by elevator shaft are estimated to have less overpressure because supply air difference are low between to satisfy critical velocity at one door opened and maintain to pressure difference all doors closed. Finally we verified that disable or residual people can use elevator for egress at fire by elevator shaft pressurization.

  • In this study, we confirmed the fact that air egress velocity of pressure differential system installed at vestibule of smokeproof stairway in domestic high-rise building becomes back-flow to stair-lobby at upper vestibule. Rather it do not back-flow to the livingroom. when fire occur and the door opens to escape from fire zone. so we carry out actual and computational fluid dynamics measurement. In the case upward 45 gradient of supply damper's blade, The simulation results that air flow of upper vestible is steady but back-flow phenomenon occurred at the bottom. However, in the case of $4m^2$, direction of the flow was ideal to living room. If a vestibule’s area is smaller, it must be designed and built according to performance-based design.

China's Brain Gain at the High End: An Assessment of Thousand Youth Talents Program

  • While studies have viewed the effect of Chinese talent-attracting programs launched by government since reform and open door policy, little of them has assessed these programs empirically and pertinently. This article intends to assess an important program - the Thousand Youth Talents Program (TYTP). Frist, this paper proposed a transnational migration matrix of the academics to clarify the dynamic mechanism of academic brain gain at the high end. Then, the Kaplan-Meier analysis and Cox regression model are used to empirically analyze the policy effect of TYTP. The results show that, academic ability have double edged impacts on brain gain at the high end, some scholars whose last employer's academic ranking is world's Top100 have stronger willing to return, and the negative effect of academic ranking decreases with time passing; while scholars with a tenure-track position, a tenure position or a permanent position tend to stay overseas, and the hazard rate of staying increases with age. The older scholars have more intentions to go back China, while gender was not a significant factor influencing academic return at the high end. That is, the talent-attracting programs has partly succeeded in bringing back the academics at the high end.

Intelligent AQS System with Artificial Neural Network Algorithm and ATmega128 Chip in Automobile (신경회로망 알고리즘과 ATmega128칩을 활용한 자동차용 지능형 AQS 시스템)

  • The Air Quality Sensor(AQS), located near the fresh air inlet, serves to reduce the amount of pollution entering the vehicle cabin through the HVAC(heating, ventilating, and air conditioning) system by sending a signal to close the fresh air inlet door/ventilation flap when the vehicle enters a high pollution area. The sensor module which includes two independent sensing elements for responding to diesel and gasoline exhaust gases, and temperature sensor and humidity sensor was designed for intelligent AQS in automobile. With this sensor module, AVR microcontroller was designed with back propagation neural network to a powerful gas/vapor pattern recognition when the motor vehicles pass a pollution area. Momentum back propagation algorithm was used in this study instead of normal backpropagation to reduce the teaming time of neural network. The signal from neural network was modified to control the inlet of automobile and display the result or alarm the situation in this study. One chip microcontroller, ATmega 128L(ATmega Ltd., USA) was used for the control and display. And our developed system can intelligently reduce the malfunction of AQS from the dampness of air or dense fog with the backpropagation neural network and the input sensor module with four sensing elements such as reducing gas sensing element, oxidizing gas sensing element, temperature sensing element and humidity sensing element.

  • Three-Dimensional finite element analysis is performed using PAM-STAMP for design evaluation of automotive back door inner panel die. Gravity process by blanks own weight, binder-wrap process, and drawing process in the forming operations are sequentially simulated with Virtual Manufacturing Method. The most valuable result in this research is that 3-D FEM analysis can be applied to the design evaluation of draw die in the die try-out, though effects of mesh size and drawbead resistance force on the numerical accuracy are much sensitive. For the intensive application to draw-die design and try-out, the experimental know-hows about the forming variables such as friction coefficient, punch velocity, drawbead force, etc are necessary.

  • 본 논문에서는 APT 공격의 공격 시나리오와 그에 따른 방어 시나리오를 구상하여 기존 방어법의 문제점을 찾고 방어대책을 제시하고 솔루션을 구축하였다. 제안된 방어 프로세스는 기존의 방식과 달리 END-POINT에서 침투에 대해 모니터링을 통하여 APT공격에 대응하는 방식이다. 공격 툴 넷버스, 백오리피스, 서브세븐, 스쿨버스를 이용해서 공격을 시도 한 뒤 본 논문에서 구축한 방어 프로세스를 이용하여 방어 실험을 실시하였다.

  • 기존 시스템 취약성 공격이나 스캔 공격도구들로부터 최근에는 방화벽이나 기타 보안 시스템을 우회하기 위한 보다 진보된 공격 도구들이 나타났다. 이중 가장 심각한 것이 커널 백도어인데 이는 기존의 사용자 레벨에서가 아닌 커널레벨에서 수행되는 특징을 가진다. 이러한 커널 백도어는 기존의 탐지기술로는 탐지가 불가능하며 현재 피해사례도 정확히 파악되지 않아 그 피해는 더욱 크다 하겠다. 이에 본 논문에서는 현재 배포되어 있는 커널 백도어를 분석하고 기존의 커널 백도어 탐지 기술과 이의 문제점을 해결하는 새로운 커널 백도어 탐지 모델과 구현 방안을 제시한다.

A study on folding chairs' structure (접이식 의자의 구조 연구)

  • The folding chairs are one of the most necessary furniture for satisfying the moderns' wants which is utilized for limited space rationally. These folding chairs are variously used in interior spaces such as offices, dining areas, and resting areas. They are very easy to move around, so that quiet useful in out door areas, too. Moreover, they play an important role in public spaces as supplementary furniture. The folding chairs have one or several axes, and they are classified according to type of axes like below. 1. Method of divide seating board into 2 and fold, 2. Method of folds seating board and lay on bottom of backboard, 3. Method of fold back board and lay on top of seating board, 4. Method of fold into contact with left and right, 5. Method of gathering legs into one and fold. The folding chairs have to be easy to operate, firm and safe, light for moving around easily, designed for able to change units whenever they have damaged. Change of residential spaces according to the trend towards the nuclear family maximized necessity of limited spaces' use. Therefore, this study provides insights for development of new methods' of folding chairs.
