Z-Type 바리움 페라이트 분말의 연자성 특성에 미치는 Ba 및 Fe 농도의 영향 (The Effect of Ba and Fe Concentration on Soft Magnetic Properties of Z-Type Barium Ferrite)

  • Z-Type 바리움 페라이트($Ba_{3}Co_{0.8}Zn_{1.2}Fe_{24}O_{41}$)를 공침법으로 제조하고 결정구조와 자기적 성질을 조사하였다. $Ba_{3+{\delta}}Co_{0.8}Zn_{1.2}Fe_{24}O_{41}$(${\delta}$ = 3, 5, 7, 13 wt%)와 $Ba_{3}Co_{0.8}Zn_{1.2}Fe_{{24}+{\delta}}O_{41}$(${\delta}$ = 5, 7, 10 wt%)의 조성을 가진 분말의 ${\delta}$ 값에 따른 자기적 성질의 변화를 조사하였다. 제조된 모든 바리움 페라이트에는 Z-type으로 상전이 하지 않은 M-type이 상당량 잔류하고 있었다. 포화자화는 Ba와 Fe의 과잉 첨가량 ${\delta}$가 각각 7 wt%와 5 wt% 일 때 최대로 나타났고 보자력은 조사된 모든 분말에서 다소 높게 나타났다. 높은 보자력은 M-type이 잔류하기 때문이다. 과잉의 Ba와 Fe 첨가에 따른 결정구조의 변화는 없었다. Z-type 바리움 페라이트의 연자성 특성을 향상시키기 위해서는 M-type이 Z-type 형성온도에서 상전이가 일어나도록 해야 함을 알았다.

  • When $Y_2O_3$ was added to Ti-excess $BaTiO_3$ ((Ba+Y)/Ti =1), the area occupied by $Y^{3+}$ ion was confirmed by its microstructure development, electrical conductivity behavior and lattice constant. Grain growth inhibition was observed when the content of donor dopant exceeded a critical value ($x{\approx}.0.01$) in $BaTiO_3+x(0.5Y_2O_3+TiO_2)$ system. A donor-doped behavior was observed at various Y contents ($0.2\sim3.0$ mol% Y) when $Y_2O_3$ was added to $TiO_2$-excess $BaTiO_3$. As Y content was increased, (002) and (200) peaks shifted to higher angles and the lattice constant (a and c axis) decreased gradually.

  • The kinetics of the addition of X-substituted benzylamines (BA) to Y-substituted Benzylideneacetylacetones (BAA) have been investigated in acetonitrile at $25.0^{\circ}C$. The reaction is studied under pseudo-first-order conditions by keeping a large excess of BA over BAA. The addition of BA to BAA occurs in a single step in which the addition of BA to $C_\alpha$ of BAA and proton transfer from BA to $C_\beta$ of BAA take place concurrently with a four-membered cyclic transition state structure. The magnitude of the Hammett ($p_X$) and Bronsted ($\beta_x$) coefficients are rather small suggesting an early tansition state (TS). The sign and magnitude of the cross-interaction constant, $p_{XY}$ (= -0.49), is comparatible to those found in the normal bond formation processes in the $S_N2$ and addition reactions. The normal kinetic isotope effect ($K_H/K_D$ > 1.0) and relatively low $\Delta$H^{${\neq}$}$ and large negative $\Delta$S^{${\neq}$}$ values are also consistent with the mechanism proposed.

  • [ $YBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{7-x}$ ] thin films were fabricated on $LaAlO_3$(100) substrate by TFA-MOD process. Yttrium-excess (0, 2.5, 5, 10, 15, 20 $at\%$) coating solution was prepared by adding extra amount of yttrium into a stoichiometric(Y:Ba:Cu=1:2:3) TFA precursor solution. Results are presented concerning the influence of excess yttrium additions on the microstructure development and superconducting properties of $YBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{7-x}$ film. Large sized CuO particles was observed by SEM EDS investigation. The addition of excess yttrium affected little on $T_c$ of $YBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{7-x}$ film. $J_c$ of YBCO film was enhanced with excess yttrium addition. Jc maximum of $2.21\;MA/cm^2$ (77 K, self field) appeared with the $15\;at\%$ addition of excess yttrium. With further yttrium addition up to $20\;at\%$, Jc decreased down to $0.9\;MA/cm^2$.

  • The effects of Ba and Ce addition has been investigated in YBCO prepared by trifluoroacetate (TFA) metalorganic depostition (MOD) method. Precursor solutions with cation ratios of Y:Ba:Cu:Ce = 1:2+x:3:x (x = 0, 0.05, 0.1 and 1.5) have been prepared by adding an excess amount of cerium and barium. Coated film was calcined at lower temperature and conversion heat treatment at temperature of $780{\sim}810^{\circ}C$. It has been shown that the critical current (Ic) of YBCO film was degraded by doping of Ba and Ce atoms. But Ic was increased as the amount of doped Ba and Ce content increased from 5 % to 15 %. It was observed that there was little increase of a flux pinning force with Ba and Ce addition in YBCO film prepared by TFA-MOD process.

Synthesis and Luminescent Characteristics of $BaGa_{2}S_{4}:Eu^{2+}$ Phosphor by Solid-state Method

  • II-$III_{2}-(S,Se)_{4}$ structured of phosphor have been used at various fields because they have high luminescent efficiency and broad emission band. Among these phosphors, europium doped $BaGa_{2}S_{4}$ was prepared by solid-state method. We investigated the possibility of applying [ ] due to emissive property of UV region. Also, general sulfide phosphors were synthesized by using injurious $H_{2}S$ $CS_{2}$ gas. However, this study prepared $BaGa_{2}S_{4}:Eu^{2+}$ phosphor is addition to excess sulfur under 5% $H_{2}$/95% $N_{2}$ reduction atmosphere. So, this process could involved large scale synthesis because of non-harmfulness and simple process. The photo-luminescence efficiency of the prepared $BaGa_{2}S_{4}:Eu^{2+}$ phosphor increased by 20% compared with commercial $BaGa_{2}S_{4}:Eu^{2+}$ phosphor. From this, we could conclude that the prepared $BaGa_{2}S_{4}:Eu^{2+}$ could be applied to green phosphor for white LED of three wavelengths.

  • Electrical and magnetic properties of $Y_1Ba_2Cu_3O_7-y$ sintered with $Bi_2O_3$ have been investigated by levitation experiment and the measurement of electrical resistivity. The effects of $Bi_2O_3$ addition on the microstructure of the sintered specimens were also investigated. The electrical resistivity in the normal state is smaller in $Y_{0.85}Bi_{0.15}Ba_2Cu_3O_{7-y}$, where the Bi is substituted into Y site, than in the basic compound $Y_1Ba_2Cu_3O_{7-y}$ due to improved microstructure. On the other hand, the microstructure is poor and electrical resistivity is larger in the $Y_1Ba_2Cu_3O_{7-y}$ sintered with excess $Bi_2O_3$. It appears that the impurity in grain boundary affect the electrical properties significantly but has little effect on the magnetic property.

  • [ $BaTiO_3$ ]분말의 양과 에폭시/$BaTiO_3$ 복합 내장형 커패시터 필름의 유전상수와의 관계를 살펴보고 이에 대해 고찰하였다. 이를 위해 $BaTiO_3$ 분말의 함량에 따른 에폭시/$BaTiO_3$ 복합 내장형 커패시터 필름의 밀도 변화와 필름의 표면 및 단면 모습을 관찰하였다. 또한 $BaTiO_3$ 분말의 함량을 높이기 위한 여러 가지 bimodal 조합에 따른 에폭시/$BaTiO_3$ 복합 내장형 커패시터 필름의 유전상수 변화를 관찰하였다. 단일 입자를 이용한 unimodal의 경우 유전상수가 가장 높게 측정된 $S_4$ 분말을 이용하여 얻을 수 있었던 유전상수의 최대값은 약 60 이었다. 최대값보다 과량의 $BaTiO_3$ 분말을 첨가하였을 경우, 에폭시/$BaTiO_3$ 복합 내장형 커패시터 필름의 유전상수가 감소하는데, 이는 과량의 분말을 수용하기 위해 생성된 기공에 의한 것이었다. Bimodal 조합의 경우 가장 큰 분말과 가장 작은 분말의 조합인 $S_5+C_1$ 조합이 $75\;vol\%$의 가장 많은 양의 분말을 넣어 가장 높은 유전상수 90 을 얻는데 성공하였다.

Superconducting YBCO films have been obtained by performing conversion heat treatment at temperature of $780{\sim}810^{\circ}C$ under a moisture-containing Ar(1,000 ppm oxygen) atmosphere. It has been shown that the critical current($I_c$) of YBCO film was degraded by doping of Ba and Ce atoms. But $I_c$ was increased as the amount of doped Ba and Ce content increased from 5% to 15 %. It was observed that there was little increase of a flux pinning force with Ba and Ce addition in YBCO film prepared by TFA-MOD process.
