Given a bill of materials (BOM) tree T labeled by the breadth first search (BFS) order from node 0 to node n and a general network ${\Im}=(V,A)$, where V={1,2,...,m} is the set of production facilities and A is the set of arcs representing transportation links between any of two facilities, we assume that each node of T stands for not only a component. but also a production stage which is a possible stocking point and operates under a periodic review base-stock policy, We also assume that the random demand which can be achieved by a suitable service level only occurs at the root node 0 of T and has a normal distribution $N({\mu},{\sigma}^2)$. Then our integrated model of facility location problems and safety stock optimization problem (FLP&SSOP) is to identify both the facility locations at which partitioned subtrees of T are produced and the optimal assignment of safety stocks so that the sum of production cost, inventory holding cost, and transportation cost is minimized while meeting the pre-specified service level for the final product. In this paper, we first formulate (FLP&SSOP) as a nonlinear integer programming model and show that it can be reformulated as a 0-1 linear integer programming model with an exponential number of decision variables. We then show that the linear programming relaxation of the reformulated model has an integrality property which guarantees that it can be optimally solved by a column generation method.

Both rapid industrial development and society has achieved more comfortable life. But, behind this facts of this industrial development have current pictures that occur global warming and much more by-products by environmental pollution. Therefore, this study used BFS and CFA as by-products to reduce cement usage emitted at a high rate of $CO_2$ gas, to examine sludge recycling strategy more than 200,000ton emitted at local dyeing complex, we suggest basic data research about non-cement matrix properties of utilizing dyeing sludge carbide. As a result, the more dyeing sludge carbide replacement ratio gets higher, the more air content and flow rise. Also, as the dyeing sludge carbide replacement ratio increase more, flexural strength and compressive strength go down.

Blast furnace slag (BFS) have many advantages that are related to effective value improvement on applying to concrete while side effects of blast furnace slag also appear. Thus, research team conducted an experiment with high volume slag to see if the attribute of waste alkali accelerator for mixing rate, mixed use of NaOH and $Na_2SiO_3$, and early strength agent for mixing rate for replacement ratio and for the types of the stimulants in order to increase the use of blast furnace slag1s powder. As the result of the experiment, when it comes to compression strength, all of the alkali stimulants have been improved as the replacement rate increases except for sodium hydroxide. Among the alkali stimulants, sodium silicate was high on dynamic elastic modulus and absorption factor. In case of early strength agent, the mix of mixing 1.5% and blast furnace slag 75% have showed high strength enhancement. In event of Waste Alkali accelerator, it has showed different consequences for each experiment.

Concrete is a very useful construction material for the sealing disposal of hazardous substances. In general, mass concrete is applied to these structures. And, the mineral admixtures are recommended for the long term performance. Calcium leaching could be happened due to the contact with pure water in underground structures. Thus, it is needed to evaluate the resistance of calcium leaching for concrete mixed with mineral admixtures. From the test results, the mineral admixtures are effective to the improvement of long term compressive strength and chloride diffusion coefficient in concrete members. When calcium leaching is happened, however, the reduction of compressive strength and chloride penetration resistance is severe than OPC case, the micro pore distribution is adversely affected. Consequently, when the mineral admixtures are applied to underground structures which is exposed to calcium leaching environment, it is desirable to reduce water-to-binder ratio, to expose after the sufficient pozolanic reaction, and to use BFS than FA.

The alkali-slag-red mud(ASRC) cement belongs to clinker free cementitious material, which is made from alkali activator, blast-furnace slag(BFS) and red mud in designed proportion. This study is to investigate strength and pore characteristics of alkali-activated slag cement(NC), clinker free cementitious material, and ordinary portland cement(C) mortars using polymer according to red mud content. The results showed that the hardened alkali-activated slag-red mud cement paste was mostly consisted of C-S-H gel, being very fine in size and extremely irregular in its shape. So the hardened ASRC cement paste has lower total porosity, less portion of larger pore and more portion of smaller pore, as compared with those of hardened portland cement paste, and has higher strength within containing 10 wt.(%) of alkali-activated slag cement(NC) substituted by red mud.
Resistance spot welding of TRIP780 steels was investigated to enhance understanding of weld fracture mode after tensile shear testing (TST) and L-shape tensile testing (LTT). The main failure mode for spot welds of TRIP780 steels was partial interfacial fracture (PIF). Although PIF does not satisfy the minimum button diameter (4${\surd}$t) for acceptable welds, it shows enough load carrying capacity of resistance spot welds for advanced high strength steels. In the analysis of displacement controlled L-shape tensile test results, cracks initiated at the notch of the faying surface and propagated through the interface of weldments, and finally, cracks change path into the sheet thickness direction. Use of the ductility ratio and CE analysis suggested that the occurrence of PIF is closely related to high hardness and brittle welds, which are caused by fast cooling rates and high chemical compositions of TRIP steels. Analysis of the hold time and weld time in a welding schedule demonstrated that careful control of the cooling rate and the size of a weld nugget and the HAZ zone can reduce the occurrence of PIF, which leads to sound welds with button fractures (BFs).

Current Internet is designed by lots of service providers with different objects and policies which make the direct deployment of radically new architecture and protocols on Internet nearly impossible without reaching a consensus among almost all of them. Network virtualization is proposed to fend off this ossification of Internet architecture and add diversity to the future Internet. As an important part of network virtualization, virtual network embedding (VNE) problem has received more and more attention. In order to solve the problems of large embedding cost, low acceptance ratio (AR) and environmental adaptability in VNE algorithms, cognitive method is introduced to improve the adaptability to the changing environment and a cognitive virtual network embedding algorithm based on weighted relative entropy (WRE-CVNE) is proposed in this paper. At first, the weighted relative entropy (WRE) method is proposed to select the suitable substrate nodes and paths in VNE. In WRE method, the ranking indicators and their weighting coefficients are selected to calculate the node importance and path importance. It is the basic of the WRE-CVNE. In virtual node embedding stage, the WRE method and breadth first search (BFS) algorithm are both used, and the node proximity is introduced into substrate node ranking to achieve the joint topology awareness. Finally, in virtual link embedding stage, the CPU resource balance degree, bandwidth resource balance degree and path hop counts are taken into account. The path importance is calculated based on the WRE method and the suitable substrate path is selected to reduce the resource fragmentation. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly improve AR and the long-term average revenue to cost ratio (LTAR/CR) by adjusting the weighting coefficients in VNE stage according to the network environment. We also analyze the impact of weighting coefficient on the performance of the WRE-CVNE. In addition, the adaptability of the WRE-CVNE is researched in three different scenarios and the effectiveness and efficiency of the WRE-CVNE are demonstrated.

The necessity for ground reinforcement of structures has been increasing in South Korea because buildings have encountered constructional problems such as inclined structures and collapses caused by earthquakes or differential settlement of the foundations. With regard to a ground reinforcement method, an increasing number of high-strength concrete piles have been used based on their advantages, including a wide range of penetration depth and a high load-bearing capacity. However, problems such as the destruction of a pile head during on-site placement work can occur when the pile has insufficient strength. For this reason, the strength of such piles should be managed more thoroughly. Thus, this study analyzed the strength properties of high-strength concrete piles using blast furnace slag (BFS) powder as a cement replacement, which was generated as an industrial byproduct. The analysis results indicated that the compression strength of the concrete piles increased when 10% to 20% of the cement was replaced with ground granulated blast-furnace slag (GGBS). In addition, the compression strength of the concrete piles was calculated to be 80.6 MPa when 20% of the cement was replaced with GGBS, which was greater by 5% than that of an ordinary Portland cement (OPC) specimen.

Recently, many efforts related to the utilization of industrial by-products have been made to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the construction industry. Of these various efforts, concrete incorporating ground granulated blast furnace slag (BFS) provides many advantages compared to conventional concrete, such as high long-term compressive strength, improved durability and economic benefits because of its latent hydraulic property, and low compressive strength at early curing age. This paper investigates the compressive strength of high-activated ground granulated blast furnace slag blended mortar with slag by-product S type(SBP-S). The results of the experiment revealed that incorporating high-activated ground granulated blast furnace slag would affect the compressive strength of mortar. It was found that increasing the Blaine fineness and replacement ratio of slag by-product S type shows high compressive strength of mortar at early curing age because of its high $SiO_2$ and CaO contents in the slag. It is confirmed that an increase of curing age does not affect the compressive strength of mortar made with slag by-product S type at a high curing temperature. Moreover, it is possible to develop and design concrete manufactured with high-activated ground granulated blast furnace slag as binder considering the acceleration curing conditions and mix proportions.
