PMWN-PZT계 압전세라믹의 압전 및 유전특성 (Characteristics of Piezoelectric and dielectric of PMWN-PZT Ceramics)

  • In this paper, the dielectric and pizoelectric properties of 0.05Pb(M $n_{04}$ $W_{0.2}$N $b_{0.4}$) $O_3$-0.95(PbZ $r_{x}$ $Ti_{1-x}$ ) $O_3$+yN $b_2$ $O_{5}$ , are investigated as a function of the mole ratio of Zr and the amount of N $b_2$ $O_{5}$ . Also, the phase is analyzed by XRD. When the mole ratio of Zr is 0.51, the electromechanical coupling coefficient( $k_{p}$ ), relative dielectric constant ($\varepsilon$$^{T}$ $_{33}$ /$\varepsilon$$_{0}$ ), piezoelectric stain constrain ( $d_{33}$ and dielectric loss tangent show maximum, while the mechanical quality factor shows minimum value ; $k_{p}$ =56.5%, $d_{33}$ =258pC/N, $\varepsilon$$^{T}$ $_{33}$ /$\varepsilon$$_{0}$ =1170, $Q_{m}$ =1150, tan$\delta$=0.51%. At that composition, MPB which rhombohedral and tetragonal phase coexist in this ternary system is shown by the results of XRD analysis. Also, when the amount of N $b_2$ $O_{5}$ is 0.3wt%, the mechanical quality factor is increased to about 2000. The phase transition temperature of the ternary piezoelectric ceramic system showed about 35$0^{\circ}C$.TEX>.>.>.

ZnO 나노막대가 형성된 STO기판에 증착한 Y-Ba-Cu-O 박막의 미세구조 분석 (Microstructure Analysis of Y-Ba-Cu-O thin Films Grown on STO Substrates with Controlled ZnO Nanorods)

  • For many large-scale applications of high-temperature superconducting materials, large critical current density ($J_c$) in high applied magnetic fields are required. A number of methods have been reported to introduce artificial pinning centers in $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-{\delta}}$ films for enhancement of their $J_c$. We studied the microstructures and characteristic of $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-{\delta}}$ films fabricated on $SrTiO_3$ (100) substrates with ZnO nanorods as pinning centers. Au catalyst nanoparticles were synthesized on STO substrates with self assembled monolayer to control the number of ZnO nanorods. The density of Au nanoparticles is approximately $240{\sim}260{\mu}m^{-2}$ with diameters of $41{\sim}49nm$. ZnO nanorods were grown on STO by hot-walled PLD with Au nanoparticles. Typical size of ZnO nanorod was around 179 nm in diameter and $2{\sim}6{\mu}m$ in length respectively. YBCO films deposited directly on STO substrates show the c-axis orientation, while YBCO films with ZnO nanorods exhibit any mixed phases without any typical crystal orientation.

c-축 배양된 PLT 박막의 특성 및 IR센서 응용 (Characteristics of c-axis oriented PLT thin films and their application to IR sensor)

  • Pb과잉인 PLT 타겟을 이용하여 MgO(100) 단결정 기판위에 고주파 마그네트론 스펏터링법으로 PLT박막을 제조하였으며, c-축 배향에 따른 물리적 및 전기적 특성을 조사하였다. PLT박막의 c-축 배향성은 제조조건에 따라 변화하며, 본 연구에서의 제조조건은 기판온도가 $640^{\circ}C$, 분위기압이 10 mTorr, $Ar/O_{2}$비가 10 및 고주파 전력밀도가 $1.7 W/cm^{2}$이었다. 이러한 조건에서 제조된 PLT 박막은 표면에서의 Pb/Ti 비가 1/2, 저항률이 $8{\times}10^{11}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$ 및 비유전률이 110 이었다. PLT박막을 이용하여 초전형 적외선 센서를 제조하였으며, 제조된 적외선 센서의 피크 대 피크 전압은 450 mV, 신호대 잡음비는 7.2 였다.

  • A great deal of research has been carried out in the last twenty some years to develop high temperature desulfurization. For example, the efficiency of advanced power generation processes based on the integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) can be increased significantly with high temperature desulfurization. Much of the recent high temperature desulfurization research has concentrated on zinc-based sorbents such as zinc ferrite(ZnFe$_2$O$_4$) and zinc titanate(ZnO.xTiO$_2$) due to its thermodynamic advantage in capturing H$_2$S molecules.(omitted)

  • In this study, to improve temperature stability 0.05 Pb(Sn$\_$$\frac{1}{2}$/Sb$\_$$\frac{1}{2}$/O$_3$ - 0.35PbTiO$_3$ - 0.60PbZrO$_3$ + 0.4[wt%]MnO$_2$ piezoelctric oeramics of low dielectric constant and large mechanical quality factor were manufactured with the addition of Cr$_2$O$_3$by Hot Press method. And the SAW delay line was fabricated and the propagation characteristics of SAW was investigated, and the SAW filter was fabricated on C4 added by 0.2[wt%] Cr$_2$O$_3$and its frequency characteristics was investigated. The specimen, whose propagation characteristics of surface acoustic wave were the best, was C4 added by 0.2[wt%] Cr$_2$O$_3$, and its electromechanical coupling factor(ks$^2$) was 3.11[%] and its temperature coefficient of the center frequency (C$\_$fo/) was -21.27[ppm/$^{\circ}C$]. The 31[MHz] SAW IF filter of C4 scarcely had diffraction phenomena and its group delay time was 1.4673 ${\pm}$40[ns] in the pass band, and the insertion loss was -24.419[dB] on no impedance matching.

K/Ka밴드 응용을 위한 완전집적화 고성능 광대역 증폭기 MMIC (A Fully-integrated High Performance Broadb and Amplifier MMIC for K/Ka Band Applications)

  • 본 논문에서는 DC 바이어스 소자와 정전파괴 보호회로를 MMIC상에 모두 내장한 완전집적화 K/Ka밴드 광대역 증폭기 MMIC를 제작하였으며, 따라서 MMTC의 동작을 위해서는 프린트기판상의 외부소자가 불필요하였다 DC 바이어스 용량성소자로서는, 소형의 SrTiO3 (STO) 커패시터를 MMIC 내부에 집적하였으며, DC feed 소자로서는 소형의 LC병렬공진회로를 집적하였다. 그리고 정전파괴방지를 위해서는 소형의 LC병렬공진 정전파괴 보호회로를 MMIC의 입출력부에 내장하였다. 정전파괴 보호회로에 의해 정전파괴전압은 10 V에서 300 V까지 개선되었다. 광대역에 걸쳐서 양호한 RF특성과 안정도를 보장하기 위해서, 프리매칭 기법과 RC병렬 안정화 회로가 이용되었다. 제작된 MMIC는 K/Ka 밴드의 광대역(17-28 GHz)에 걸쳐서 $20{\pm}2$ dB의 전력이득, $21{\pm}1.5$ dBm의 1dB 이득 압축점 (P1dB)의 양호한 RF특성을 보였다. 그리고 제작된 MMIC로부터 DC에서 동작주파수이상의 광대역에 걸쳐서 안정화 특성을 관찰 할 수 있었다. 제작된 MMIC의 면적은 $1.7{\pm}0.8$ mm2이었다.

Supported nickel catalysts for the decomposition of hydrazine borane N2H4BH3

  • In this work, we present the catalytic dehydrogenation of hydrazine borane $N_2H_4BH_3$ (HB) using supported nickel catalysts at $50^{\circ}C$. In the presence of monometallic nickel catalysts, the dehydrogenation of HB is a one-step reaction consisting of the hydrolysis of the $BH_3$ group only. The challenge is to activate nickel to make it reactive towards the $N_2H_4$ moiety of HB. A set of 52 catalysts were prepared by using 2 supports ($Al_2O_3$ and $TiO_2$), 5 nickel precursors and 3 preparation methods. For the first time, we show that the supported nickel catalysts are able to dehydrogenate the $NH_3$ moiety of HB. In our experimental conditions, the best results were obtained with 20 wt% Ni-$Al_2O_3$ and 20 wt% Ni-$TiO_2$, with ca. 190 mL $H_2+N_2$ generated over a total theoretical volume of 283 mL, suggesting $H_2$ selectivity of 37 and 32%, respectively. Both catalysts were then characterized by EDX, XPS, and XRD. Our achievement is the first step forward and opens new perspectives for developing catalysts for the total dehydrogenation of HB.

Composition-property Relationships of Enamel Glass for Low Carbon Steel

  • The relationship between composition and properties of enamel glass was investigated by introducing a mixture design. The enamel glass was manufactured by mixing various components under the following constraints: $45{\leq}SiO_2{\leq}55$, $10{\leq}B_2O_3{\leq}18$, $6{\leq}Na_2O{\leq}15$, $1{\leq}Li_2O{\leq}6$, $5{\leq}K_2O{\leq}10$, $0{\leq}TiO_2{\leq}8$, $0{\leq}ZrO_2{\leq}8$, 13.3MO (mol %). A mathematical model for the calculation of some properties of enamel glasses as a function of their composition was developed by the experimental statistical method. The results showed that the proposed model with the experimental measurement were in good agreement and the mixture experimental design was an effective method for optimizing the composition of the enamel glass with respect to its properties.
