항공계열 대학생의 자기효능감 및 학업적 적응에 관한 연구 (A Study on Self-Efficacy and Academic Adjustment Among the Aviation-related College Students)

  • Recently the departments of aviation-related in the college are increased as the aviation industry is rapidly expanded. To enhance their competitiveness and have differentiation, it is emphasized for each department to manage and teach their students well. Therefore this study aims to examine self-efficacy and academic adjustment of aviation-related college students and investigate the relationship between self-efficacy and academic adjustment. To achieve the objectives, it conducted a survey of aviation-related college students in C university from Apr. 27th. 2015 to May. 22th. 2015. A total of 225 questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 statistical package program and frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis, correlation analysis and one-way ANOVA were conducted. The result released that general self-efficacy was recognized higher at the department of aviation operation than aviation maintenance and aviation service and social self-efficacy was recognized higher at the department of aviation service than aviation maintenance and aviation operation. Also general self-efficacy had an influence on the motivation, application and performance and social self-efficacy affected motivation, performance and academic environment. The implication of these findings would help to manage aviation-related college students, develop their departments and provide the directions for future research.

  • This study is an empirical analysis of the cultural competencies of college students majoring in aviation services on their major satisfaction and professionalism. In order to focus on the cultural competencies of aviation service college students, who are rarely addressed in the preceding study and to see how cultural competencies have significant effects on their major satisfaction and professionalism, we divid them into six sub factors: willingness to participate, cognitive openness/flexibility, emotional control, patience with uncertainty, self-efficacy, and cultural empathy. And the mediated effects of major satisfaction on cultural competency and professionalism are analyzed to provide educational implications for cultural competency. Based on the results of this study, it is expected to apply to the education of aviation service-related departments, it will be a basic data to promote students' adaptation to the department and satisfaction of the department and to train global professional service personnel who can improve their post-employment work adaptability, job satisfaction, and service productivity.

항공서비스전공 대학생의 눈치인식이 대인관계능력, 학습성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Impact of Nunchi on Interpersonal Skills and Learning Outcomes of College Students Majoring in Aviation Service)

  • The college age is an important developmental stage for achieving personal growth through interaction with people. In this study, we analyze the impact of the level of nunchi awareness on the interpersonal skills and learning outcomes of college students majoring in aviation services. For analysis, a survey is conducted targeting college students majoring in aviation services attending universities in the metropolitan and Chungcheong areas. To test the research hypothesis, demographic characteristics are identified based on the questionnaire, the reliability and validity of the measurement items were verified, and structural equation model analysis was performed to verify the hypothesis. The analysis results are as follows. First, nunchi behavior, which is a sub-factor of nunchi recognition among college students in the Department of Aviation Service, is found to have a positive (+) effect on temperament of others, communication, and relationship promotion of interpersonal skills. However, the significance of the influence relationship between nunchi perception factors and interpersonal skills is not confirmed. Second, among the sub-factors of interpersonal skills, only temperament with others and communication are found to have a positive effect on major commitment. Based on the research results, we aim to present practical strategies for designing effective major learning and developing competencies related to the work environment.

항공관련학과 전공자의 지각된 진로장벽이 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향 -진로스트레스의 매개효과를 중심으로- (The Effects of Recognized Career Barriers on Career Decision Level among Students of Majoring in Aviation -Focused on the Mediating Effect of Career Stress-)

  • In this study, it examined whether recognized career barriers among students of majoring in aviation affected career stress and career decision level, and career stress moderated the impact of career barriers on career decision level. For this purpose, it conducted a survey of aviation-related college students in C university from Sep. 21th. 2015 to Oct. 8th. 2015. A total of 225 questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 statistical package program and frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis, and correlation analysis were conducted. Findings indicated that career barriers partly influenced the career stress and career decision level. Also, career stress had an negative effect on career decision level. Lastly, career stress moderated the impact of career barriers on career decision level. The implication of this paper would be used as a fundamental material to guide for career direction to students majoring in aviation.

A Study of Research Ethics Related to Plagiarism among University Students

  • Purpose: This study aims to investigate and identify the current awareness of plagiarism among university students in their assignments and find ways to take measures against it. This study can be used as a basis for plagiarism prevention education for instructors and learners at universities, as well as for providing standards for plagiarism in assignment design and for dealing with distrust and conflict among students due to plagiarism. Research design, data and methodology: This study was conducted in July 2024 with a survey of 347 students majoring in aviation and tourism at a university in the Chungcheong-do region. In order to investigate the current status and perception of plagiarism in college students' class work, this study referred to previous studies on plagiarism among college students and conducted a questionnaire consisting of 22 questions, including 3 questions on general matters, 7 questions on plagiarism perception, 5 questions on reasons for plagiarism, and 7 questions on research ethics experience. Results: In the survey results through this study, it was found that most of the university students were aware of the concept of plagiarism, but more students were unable to accurately distinguish the recognition of specific content such as citations. The reason for plagiarism in assignments was found to be the easiest to use Internet data. Regarding the research ethics experience, it was found that most of the students lacked experience at school or during class.

항공법규에 의거 지정된 조종사 양성 전문교육기관의 학생조종사에 대한 휴먼팩터 영향 연구 (A Study on the Impact of Human Factors for the Students Pilot's in ATO -With Respect to Korea Aviation Act and ICAO Human Factors Training Manual-)

  • 본 연구는 국내 훈련비행을 수행하는 학생조종사를 대상으로 SHELL 모델에 근거한 인적요인(Human Factors)에 초점을 맞추어 연구가 진행되었다. 연구 가설을 검증하기 위해SHELL 모델은 바탕으로 평가요소를 만들었고, 각 인적요인별 요인분석에서 추출된 변수를 사용하여 사고위험과의 상관관계, 비행경험수준과는 분산분석, 그리고 조직 특성과는 t-test를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 사고위험과 조종사의 개인적 요소(Liveware), 사고위험과 조종사-장비 관계(Liveware-Hardware)는 관련성이 있고, 개인적 요소(Liveware)의 변수인 조종사의 내적요인과 조종사의 기량 모두 비행경험수준이 낮을수록 인적요인에 의한 영향을 많이 받는 것으로 분석되었다. 마지막으로 학생 조종사 조직의 특성에 따라 인적요소(Human Factors)들의 차이를 비교분석한 결과, 재학생으로 구성된 학생조종사의 그룹이 내적으로 영향을 많이 받고 있고, 조종석내 장비 부분에서는 일반인 학생 조종사가 받는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 항공분야의 인적요인(Human Factors)에 관한 연구는 활발히 진행 중이나 학생조종사를 대상으로 한 인적요인에 관한 연구는 이루어지지 않았다. 기존의 선행연구와 같이 본 연구에서도 사고 위험과 인적요인과의 관계는 밀접한 관련이 있으며, 특히 개인적 요소(Liveware)와 조종사-장비(Liveware-Hardware) 관계가 안전성에 많은 관련이 있음을 보였다. 또한 인적요인 중 조직문화라는 요인도 인간에게 많은 영향을 주고 있고, 실제 사고위험에 직접적인 영향은 없으나, 잠재적인 위험성이 큰 요인이라 판단된다. 전 세계적으로 항공사고의 안전성을 향상시키기 위해 인적요인(Human Factors)을 주요 문제로 삼고 있고, 국내 항공사에서도 인적요인 훈련으로서 승무원 상호협조(CRM)와 노선적응훈련(LOFT) 훈련을 정기적으로 하고 있는 등 인적요인의 중요성을 인지하고 이로 인한 사고를 방지하기 위해 지속적으로 노력하고 있다. 그러나 훈련비행을 실시하고 있는 비행훈련기관에서는 인적요인에 관한 훈련은 부족하며, 학생들이 인적요인(Human Factors)에 관한 이론으로 인식할 뿐이지 실제 훈련 비행상에서 사고로 이어질 수 있다는 잠재적 위험성을 인지하지 못하고 있다. 우리나라 항공 산업을 이끌고 갈 조종사를 양성하는 교육기관으로써, 이러한 문제를 인식하고 인적요인 교육 훈련을 개선해 나가야 할 것이며 이러한 점은국내 항공법이나 항공법규에 의거 지정된 전문교육기관의 교과과정개선에 반영되어야 할 것이다.

계획된 행위이론에 근거한 나트륨 섭취감소를 위한 건강 커뮤니케이션 방안연구 (A Study of Health Communication Method for Reducing Sodium Intake bases on Theory of Planned Behavior)

  • Although excessive intake of sodium is known to cause various diseases and threaten public health and policies for reducing overconsumption of sodium are being implemented, the theoretical research on sodium intake is incomplete. This study attempted to provide a policy basis by examining whether or not planned behavior theory, which is a typical health communication theory used to describe health-related behaviors, can be applied to explain sodium intake behavior. Especially, sodium ingestion behaviors were compared using the theory of actions planned for men and women as well as young people, middle-aged, and elderly persons, who are predicted to show differences in eating habits. In this study, questionnaires were prepared to measure the daily eating habits of subjects and subordinate factors of planned behavior theory: behavioral beliefs, outcome expectations, normative beliefs, compliance motivation, and control beliefs. Questionnaires were given to 93 college students and their families. As a result of the difference analysis and path analysis of the questionnaire responses, the following suggestions were obtained. First, age difference is more obvious than sex difference in terms of low salt intentions. For example, older people are healthier than younger people in terms of eating habits and health concerns. Second, the elderly are more likely to practice the low-salt formula when they are provided information on the benefits and effects of the low-salt formula compared to younger ones. Third, systematic efforts are needed to promote a culture that emphasizes the health benefits of a low salt diet rather than providing piecemeal information on the advantages and effects of a low salt diet.
