The purpose of this study aims to provide possible suggestions for the improvement KDC 5th ed. as a system. After analyzing and evaluating various devices of KDC 5th ed. such as schedules, common auxiliary tables, internal tables(omitted), notes, relative index, precedence order(omitted), alternatives, manual(omitted) and relocated table(omitted), suggestions for the improvement were proposed. If above suggestions are adopted, effective literature classification scheme which is suited to domestic circumstances will be certainly prepared.

기존의 주관식 문제 채점 보조 시스템에서의 프로그래밍 주관식 문제는 학습자가 프로그래밍을 완성한 후 이를 웹 서버에게 전송하면 웹 서버는 이를 출제자에게 통지하고, 통지 받은 출제자는 학습자의 답안을 직접보고 채점하는 복잡한 채점 보조 시스템이었다. 본 논문에서는 프로그래밍 주관식 문제의 경우 이러한 복잡한 채점 보조 시스템을 탈피하고, 학습자의 프로그래밍 소스를 객관적으로 평가하며, 자동으로 답안을 채점하는 채점 보조 시스템을 제안한다.

Adaptive feedforward control(AFC) is largely aimed for improving control performance of dynamic systems particularly involving periodic disturbance signals in engineering fields. This paper presents a novel hybrid AFC approach for specific systems with multiple disturbances in control input and state variables. The proposed AFC mechanism is hierarchically composed of the conventional AFC and a PID typed auxiliary control law in parallel. The former is generic to decrease periodic disturbance in control actuators and the latter is additionally constructed to overcome control deterioration due to time-varying uncertainty of given systems. We carry out numerical simulation to test reliability of the hybrid AFC system and compare its control performance with a well-known conventional AFC method in terms of time and frequency domains for proving of its superiority.

In a high speed train, OBCS(On-Board Computer System) is a up-to-date computer control system that provide controlling, monitoring, maintaining and reparing of the important device, supporting a driver, status of a train, service maintenance, managing the remote control mode, driving order & control, control of a electrical or pneumatic circuit and a passenger service. In general, OBCS is located in each car but in a power car, both main and auxiliary computers are used. These avoid a network collision and maintain the independence of condition and failure records with the information of line number, train number and car number. This paper is intended to provide the information about the identification coding method of domestic and foreign OBCS, for the new high speed train (KTX-II).

Specification of reinforcement method was suggested according to the ground condition and tunnelling environment such as adjacent building and surface settlement. Tunnel database consists of 8 different groups of data according to the tunnel construction situations and major problems of ground. A tunnel countermeasure expert system based on client/server system was developed with on-line. The expert system provides proper solution to the each construction sites backing up the information of the tunnelling and ground information through Internet. The effective factors of tunnel construction were shown by the analyzing relationship and partial relationship between face stability and RMR factors. This study will be very helpful to make the most of in-situ data and suggest proper applicability of tunnel reinforcement system escaping from the dependence of some experienced experts for the absent of guide.

VP-ellipsis constructions in English can be schematized as S + [NP finite-AUX __ ] where the underlined part is understood to be a VP. Similarly, the pattern S + NP[-to] can be observed in Korean colloquial contexts. Though the English VP-ellipsis sentence pattern and the Korean pattern superficially seem to be similar, the Korean pattern exhibits peculiar properties: Syntactically, the NP of the pattern should have the delimiter -to. Semantically, it may convey ambiguous readings: VP-ellipsis-like and/or Stripping-like interpretation. To account for the pattern at issue, we propose a base-generated analysis driven by the delimiter -to within a construction grammar. We claim that the mother of the NP[-to] in this pattern is an S whose meaning is ambiguous between a VP-ellipsis-like and a Stripping-like reading. Consequently, the code of the VP-ellipsis in English is finite auxiliary verbs while that of the pattern S + NP[-to] in Korean is the delimiter -to.

Vessel PMS (Planned Maintenance System) is a paper and/or software based system to monitor vessel engine equipment including main propulsion, steering, auxiliary machinery and cargo handling information. This is one of mandatory survey for vessel introduced by IMO (International Maritime Organization). The planned maintenance as well as documentation must be performed according to a system to be approved by classification agencies. Recently, vessel owners have preferred software based systems to collect and preserve accurate data. However, not ship specific and not taking into account the user are said by end users as operational difficulties. To relieve these concerns, this research analyzes vessel PMS data, suggests a middleware to support automatic collection and design consideration of user interface.

In this paper, a GMSK modulator was implemented with a gaussian lowpass filter using digital signal processing, a phase integration, D/A convers and auxiliary circuits. The relatively narrow bandwidth of power spectrum of the GMSK modulator is observed when the cut off frequency (B T) of the gaussian baseband filter is varied. In a demodulator, a discriminator type circuit is used. Using the above degital radio GMSK modem, BER is theoretically derived and experimentally measured when 16Kbps PRBS data is transmitted under Rayleigh fading and additive white gaussian noise conditions.

Methods for the estimation of the coefficient matrices in the equation of motion for a linear multi-degree-of-freedom structure are studied. For this purpose, the equation of motion is transformed into an auto-regressive and moving average with auxiliary input(ARMAX) model. The ARMAX parameters are evaluated using several methods of parameter estimation : such as the least squares, the instrumental variable, the maximum likelihood and the limited information maximum likelihood methods. Then the parameters of the equation of motion are recovered therefrom. Numerical example is given for a 3-story building model subjected to an earthquake exitation.
