This study is to investigate the factors influencing the problem solving ability of dental hygiene and students' communication ability and critical thinking and autonomous educational climate. The subjects were 249 dental hygienists who attended two university from May 20 to June 1, 2018. Statistical analysis was performed with mean, t-test and one-way ANOVA. The overall mean of critical thinking tendency was 3.47 points, the total mean of communication life was 3.48 points. The overall mean of autonomous educational climate was 3.14 points and the total mean of problem solving ability was 3.40 points. The higher the critical thinking disposition score, the higher the problem solving ability. The higher the satisfaction of the major, the higher the problem solving ability. Therefore, if the program to improve communication ability, critical thinking tendency, and autonomous educational climate of college students majoring in dental hygiene is expected to improve the problem solving ability.

This study aimed to examine the mediating roles of self-determined motivations on the effect of class climate perceived by middle school students on self-regulated learning ablility. For this purpose, a total of 589 students were selected as subjects in this research. Structural equation modeling was conducted so as to verify the relationship among all the variables. As a results, first, the perceived autonomous class climate had a direct effect on self-regulated learning ability and an indirect effect on self-regulated learning ability through the mediation effect of identified regulation. Second, the perceived controlled class climate had a direct effect on self-regulated learning ability and an indirect effect on self-regulated learning ability through the mediation effect of identified regulation, introjected regulation, and external regulation. This study implies that facilitating autonomous engagement in learning activities will be a effective educational intervention to improve self-regulated learning ability.

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting creativity and personality of students in dental hygiene department. From 14 May 2018 to 1 June 2018, 114 dental hygienists were enrolled at S University in Gwangju. The overall average of meta-cognition was 3.26. There was a significant difference between satisfaction and satisfaction of the major 3.36. The overall average of the mastery approach goals was 3.26. There was a significant difference in the satisfaction of the major satisfaction by 3.38. The overall average of autonomous educational climate was 3.08. According to the study variables, there was a significant difference in the satisfaction of major majors 3.17. The overall average of creativity and personality was 3.37. There was a significant difference between satisfaction and satisfaction of the majors. The factors affecting creativity and personality of college students were meta cognition and mastery approach goal. Metacognition and mastery approach goal score showed higher creativity and personality.
